This blog post was originally published on September 23, 2012.

The following transcript is an interview with a former producer for The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The interview was conducted on September 17, 2012 and was first published at FameWhorgas in four parts starting on September 23, 2012. The interviewer, who exclusively shared this with FameWhorgas, was writing a piece on the reality of reality television and forwarded parts of the interview pertaining to RHONJ for the purpose of reading fan comments to get a different perspective on the transcript. I will not disclose the names of the interviewer and interviewee; however, I can say that I received this directly from the interviewer: this person, the one who conducted the interview, is the cousin of the former producer. My source saw that people were doubting the legitimacy of the interview when it was first published at FameWhorgas on September 23, 2012, so he/she wrote the following explanation:

“I was asked by my country’s main news website to write a piece on the reality of reality television. My cousin worked on RHONJ, so I asked for an interview. The interview was only given because RHONJ does not screen in my country, and I promised anonymity. We also don’t have any Bravo shows on television here. I called my cousin in Washington and spoke for 20 minutes before realizing I would have to watch the RHONJ to understand what was going on and who was who. So I went online and watched every episode and called back a few weeks later. The second interview (which was recorded) was an hour and a half and mentioned numerous shows from TLC and Oxygen, but I have edited it down to the relevant parts, mainly due to privacy for my cousin.”

Background Information

Q: “So can you tell me about your role on the RHONJ without giving away who you are”?

A: “It’s fine, my contract has finished. I worked on season 3 and 4 of RHONJ as a post production supervisor for 15 episodes.”

Q: “Can you explain why you no longer work with the RHONJ? Does it have anything to do with the rumors that the production team was fired due to a conflict of interest?”

A: “Not true at all, I can’t speak for everyone, um, there are quiet a few of the same team returning for season 5, but I was offered a role on another show and decided to leave for my career; no one was fired for a conflict of interest though.”

Q: “So how ‘real’ is the show? We discussed before (in a private conversation) about the various blog rumours; can you clear anything up?”

A: “Well, if you give me specifics, I can try.”

Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice’s Feud

Q: “I’m curious about the Caroline/Teresa feud. Was she really that angry that Teresa wrote those comments in her cookbook?”

A: (laughing) “Oh come on, at the start of the season the production team sits down and gives a general overview of where we want the storyline for the show to go. ALL of the wives are in on this. We discuss popular storylines from the season before, storylines that need tying up, and also ways of threading in new storylines that look organic to the story. Do you really think we spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on just following these woman around with no plan? No, the season and the storyline has a basic outline from the first day.”

Q: “So you’re saying there is no feud?”

A: “I’m saying the feud you are being fed is for television only and there are bigger issues there.”

Q: “Then why are we not being told what the bigger drama is? Wouldn’t it be better to show that than manufacturing the drama?”

A: “It’s up to the wives what they choose to put out into the public forum; nothing is forced on them.”

Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice’s Feud

Q: “What about Jacqueline and Teresa?”

A: “We knew at the end of season 3 that their friendship was ending; the main reason, I was told, for the feud was because Jacqueline was offered several endorsement deals (including a teeth whitener and a real fruit-based alchohol), and Teresa organised deals for herself with similar products which turned off the company wanting to invest in Jax and the Housewives’ name.”

Q: “Well, why was this not mentioned throughout the season? Why are we getting this confusing story that makes Jacqueline look crazy? Why not explain this to the viewers?”

A: “Jacqueline’s ‘character’ wouldn’t have endorsement deals; it didn’t feel right for the character. Jacqueline (the character) is a loving home mother who is trying to raise her children; we couldn’t go from doting housewife to celebrity endorsement maker; it wouldn’t feel organic.”

Dina Manzo Quitting the Show in Season 2

Q: “In season 2 you had a change of cast with Dina Manzo leaving; did she really leave because of Danielle?”

A: “There were legal issues around the filming of Dina’s daughter, and Dina and Danielle had off screen legal issues. Dina threatened to quit the show unless Danielle’s contract for season 2 was shortened; she basically told the producers it was her family on the show or Danielle, but the others didn’t back her, so she quit the show.”

Q: “What about Teresa? Did Teresa threaten to walk too?”

A: “No, none of the other wives did; that is why Dina is so angry at her family; I guess she feels like they chose the show over her.”

Q: “Well they did, so why is she speaking to Teresa then and not the others?”

A: “The others were her family.”

The Addition of the Gorgas to the Show and the Christening in Season 3

Q: “So tell me about the casting of the Gorga family? Did they really send in an audition tape saying they would take down Teresa, mafia style?”

A: “They auditioned, as does everyone. Look, it’s not like just because she is Teresa’s sister-in-law we instantly cast her because we had heard of bad blood between them. Teresa’s brother and Melissa were filmed for a short period and that was edited into a small compilation to see if they were interesting enough to be on television. This happens on every single show. Melissa does say that they will take down Teresa in the video, but in a playful manner. I’m also sure it’s been leaked onto the net, so it wouldn’t be hard to find.”

Q: “What can you tell me about the christening episode that introduces the Gorgas?”

A: “Well, I can say I was actually there that day. It was our first full day filming with a large team; we had been filming previous to that, but they were establishing shots. It was much worse than what was shown: the extended family didn’t want anything on camera, so what you don’t see is family members getting violent with the crew and grabbing their cameras and ripping microphone packs off and throwing them across the room. It was chaos.”

Q: “Why did Joe Gorga react the way he did? He was crazy.”

A: “I’ll just say, first day shooting nerves can make some drink and others take….I’ll leave it at that.”

Editing Problems with Season 4

Q: “What is going on with the editing for this season [season 4]?

A: “Can you elaborate?”

The Truth About Melissa Gorga and Her Bravo Audition Tape

“It feel like she is presenting a false face to the cameras… sometimes her facade slips and you see her for who she really is.”

“The Gorgas auditioned, as does everyone. I’m also sure it’s been leaked onto the net, so it wouldn’t be hard to find.” – Former RHONJ Producer, September 23, 2012

“Jac also relayed in DM that there is, in fact, an audition tape created by Joe and Melissa to get on the Bravo show. It’s alleged that she later said that they all have to submit these type of things to get on the show. However, we have been listening to Kathy & Melissa’s reports of how they got on the show and they both denied even trying to get on–but rather wooed onto the show by production. So if Jac knows of the audition tape, how can she simultaneously believe that Melissa did nothing to edge her way onto the show? In addition, doesn’t Jac listen to any of the interviews of Melissa and Kathy explaining their sudden appearance on the show where they deny pursuing a spot on RHONJ? [Melissa is quiet about the audition tape, which tells us that there is one; and Jacqueline DMing someone that one existed, but saying that Melissa didn’t promise in it to take Teresa down, means Melissa told her it existed yet denied the content.]” – The Chirping Twit

Insider Blogs About Melissa Gorga’s Audition Tape and Events from Season 3 and Season 4 Anonymous E-mail Sent to StoopidHousewives, May 11, 2011:

Melissa has been jealous of Teresa since the day they met. Melissa was a plain Jane. Teresa has been fabulous and over-the-top since high school. Look at how Melissa has transformed herself into Teresa. Melissa copies EVERYTHING Teresa does: where she get her hair done, which pediatrician she uses, she literally follows Teresa into stores. She wears the same shoes two weeks later… Here’s a classic example (so Leann Rimes/Brandi Glanville!): Teresa got a hot designer dress in Vegas with a feather skirt in Sept. She twittered it. The next month, Melissa showed up at Audriana’s birthday party in the same feathered dress.

Melissa copied the way Teresa set up her Twitter name: Teresa_Giudice and Melissa_Gorga. Who does that? Melissa’s new website is black with a diamond over the “i” just like Teresa’s Fabulicious logo on her site. And producers did know about Melissa for three years — they interviewed everyone of the Housewives friends and family every year for new blood, and they passed on Melissa every time. Then last year, Melissa and Joey got drunk and made a tape where they parodied The Godfather, sent it to Bravo, and promised they’d humiliate Teresa on TV. Bravo bit.

Teresa didn’t know anything about it until they were signed! She was completely betrayed by Melissa, her brother, and Bravo. And unlike what was reported, Teresa was stuck in a 2-more-year contract, so she couldn’t get out of it and leave the show. She tried because she didn’t want to expose her parents or her kids to Melissa’s fame whore nonsense. If Teresa always hated Melissa, why is Melissa Gabriella’s godmother?

It’s Melissa who can’t stand that Teresa got famous, and now she wants what Teresa has. Missy is stalker scary. PS– One of the reasons Teresa does hate Missy now is because Missy & Joe have an “open” marriage, and Teresa thinks it’s disgusting. Missy leaves her kids with her two nannies all the time to go clubbing and hook up (she’s usually with an exflame called “Butch,”) and Joe sleeps with everyone in a skirt. Joe actually had charges pressed against him for rape back in the day, but his family pressured the girl to drop the suit. Look up the court records in Patterson, NJ.

‘vp’, December 13, 2011, AllAboutTRH.com:

OMG! OMG! OMG! I once read a comment on a blog before they got on the show that said that Mego used to try and say she inherited a lot of money from a rich relative and it turned out to be all lies. She had all these elaborate fantasies and lies she ‘cooked’ up and had people snowed for a while believing she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth until they started asking questions and her house of cards fell. That comment was also erased shortly either by the blogger or the poster (could have been for vulgarity). It was RAW. You could tell the poster hated this woman and knew her. I considered it when watching the show, because I really didn’t understand how they could afford to live the lifestyle that they did, the home was built for someone who is worth 10 times what the Gorgas are worth. But then the sisters seem pretty down on their luck and jealous of Mego, so that didn’t check either. If she had inherited money from her grandfather so would her sisters.

I did my “research” into MANZO and they are NOT lilly white…hahahahaha. Same with poison Joey…. He should be the LAST to talk about MONEY WOES of Knuckle dragger barney and tre… and I am talking about back a few years ago before they even hit the show… Can’t wait for “BUTCH” to make an appearance into the gossip rags… then ALL will know the REAL story about Mellissa… hahahahahahahahahahahaha. BTW, I have “family” in Montville… they KNOW lots of stuff about lots of folks…

I wonder when the “friends” from Elizabeth will be coming forward… winks. If you wanted it to remain QUIET, reality tv is not the place to be… once that closet door opens all the bones fall out…….

An insider commenting at Reality Tea on September 17, 2011 (before the final episode of season 3 aired and before the Posche Fashion Show was filmed at the end of season 4) explained how Melissa Gorga went behind Teresa Giudice’s back to campaign for Bravo to cast her on RHONJ.

The comment was initially panned as ‘fan fiction’ and given little attention in September 2011. It was re-posted in another Reality Tea blog by eveie6fan on March 10, 2012 at 9:24 pm, but still wasn’t given much attention until season 4 episode 8 aired on June 17, 2012. Now viewers are reassessing its validity following comments made by Teresa during episode 8 and screen shots of the tweets shown during the episode.

The following are comments posted by ‘Insider’ at Reality Tea in August and September of 2011.

Note: For more inside scoop, most likely from the ‘insider’ who posted the blog below, check out the post titled RHONJ Producers Socialize With Everyone But Teresa Giudice (scroll down to “According to ‘Insider’ who commented at Reality Tea in August 2011”).

Insider’s August 2011 comments:

Melissa spent the past three years haunting Bravo and Danielle, trash-talking all of the Housewives but then kissing ass once they got on, then being mad at Teresa for being upset with them after all of that. Imagine your SIL, someone you have to see for the rest of your life, doing this for you – and your jealous and brainwashed friends sticking up for them. NEWSFLASH CAROLINE – Melissa was the one who told Danielle all about your stomach surgery, made the ‘rumors’ of Albert cheating at the Brownstone, and said ‘my daughter would never do that’ about Ashley. Wake the *beep* up.”

The truth will come out. Melissa tried to be on the show from the very beginning. They did not want her because she was boring. So, she stomped her feet and stalked Danielle Staub to the point where even Danielle (of all people) refused to bring her onto the show. Melissa AND Joe wanted to come on to surprise Teresa and be on-camera friends with Danielle.

I wish that did happen because maybe Caroline and Jacqueline would not be believing all of Melissa’s lies like you will see in season four. Melissa knows how to lie and get what she wants, but the truth will come out. Her stalking Danielle is what finally got her on the show.

A lot of what was also said at season 2′s reunion (with Melissa’s name) was completely removed because, at the time, no one even knew who she was. Melissa is a complete fake. She has tried to get on the show; it never happened until she stalked Danielle and made a video WITH Joe (nice brother) saying they will ‘Destroy Teresa’. Yet, they call Teresa garbage for working to support her family and keep a beautiful roof over her family’s head.

Insider’s September 17, 2011 comment [note that the insider refers to Caroline as Don C, Teresa as Tre, Melissa as Missy and Jacqueline as Jac]:

Missy has said that she got on the show from an initial ‘surprise’ phone call from Bravo when she was driving. In other instances, she has said Bravo contacted her via Facebook. None of this is true. I can confirm: Missy has been trying to get on Housewives for years. She was envious that not only Tre got on, but that Tre was becoming successful off of the show. The Gorgas (and even Tre) act as if there is this major underlying issue during their vague conversations.

There is an elephant in the room that, by contract, none of them can blatantly discuss (or couldn’t) as of yet… There was never a MAJOR issue. That is Bravo trying to make the show interesting, which it is failing at. Missy was at nearly every single family function, especially the ones filmed for Bravo. For years, she sent Bravo ‘audition’ tapes, e-mails, and even spoke with producers and assistants in person. No one was interested in her or her husband, who they mocked behind the scenes. When Melissa gets angry, she gets angry. She was tired of being ignored (sociopath) and decided to get dirty; she contacted Danielle initially two years ago. Ultimately, Melissa exchanged phone calls, e-mails, texts, and all forms of communication with Danielle for months upon months.

Like Danielle can confirm, Mel was dying to film scenes with her similar to the ones she does with her sisters and Kathy, where she fabricates lies and bitches about Tre. While it would have made for great television, even Danielle was apprehensive and initially thought she was being set up. She, as you know, declined. There was so much of what is now relevant information edited out of the reunion last year [season 2] because, at the time, it was irrelevant. Danielle used Melissa’s name verbatim, and among many other things, discussed Tre ‘not speaking or associating with her own family’ and being a horrible aunt [the same accusation Melissa made in her sixth Bravo blog, Light at the End of the Tunnel, posted on June 21, 2011].

When Teresa was arguing with Danielle, which was edited down, she CLEARLY told Danielle Staub to not ‘break up’ her family – not ‘bring up’ her family as she tried to assure us. This is why… The day of the reunion, after the first Danielle confrontation (there were more), Tre got extreme anxiety – and this is when she started to put all of Missy’s motives together: coming to every family event for camera time while behind the scenes contacting producers, Danielle, and pulling the best act which got her on the show – together with Tre’s brother Joey.

Teresa always tries to make excuses for her brother because she actually loves him, but he is certainly no angel. Joey G and Melissa filmed a tape where they, in the style of the Sopranos, promised Bravo execs they would ‘expose’ and ‘destroy’ Teresa. They also guaranteed to give Tre what she has given them ‘…their whole life.’ The tape was over the top and completely goumba. The REAL elephant in the room, and real reason why Tre and Joey G have issues, is the show itself and how Melissa got on. However, by contract, the housewives can’t reference the show. Today, Tre can’t stomach Melissa. She actually never liked her before, but there was never an issue as major as this one – the one Missy created.

Melissa’s sisters (and family) were all in on it too. Missy has no friends – except acquaintances who, like her, want to be the next ‘Lady Gorga.’ Yes, that is what they all call her too. Many of her ‘friends’ have been stalking Bravo producers in hope of lucking out like she has. They even created tapes similar to Melissa’s – where they [!@#$%^&*] talked Tre and spoke about how she was a ‘terrible person.’ The problem with this is – Tre doesn’t care for, nor even knows, half of them. At Melissa’s single release party, which was filmed at the Hudson Terrace in NYC on Friday August 12th, Melissa actually invited [strangers] supporters from twitter for the sheer purpose of making it look like she knew a bunch of people. In reality, Missy is the bitchiest person (and was ten times more before the show). Her wannabe ‘friends’ who want to be, ‘The next Lady Gorga!’ are even worse.

Below are the names of her busted possy who have been, and still are, hardcore stalking and harassing Bravo to become official Housewives: Anne Cahalane: One of the most condescending women around. Rude and needs to be given a ‘reality check.’ No pun intended. Never met Melissa in person until her single release party last month. This is one of her hardcore Twitter supporters. Andrea Zembillis: Fly-by-night owner of a local online cookie shop. Publicly swears up and down (like Anne) that she is not interested in being a part of the show. Her actions are the exact opposite.

Martha Fava: This woman can be seen running after Teresa when Tre was chasing Staub at the POSCHE show last year trying to calm her down. This year, at the POSCHE show, she was standing next to Melissa looking ‘concerned’ when Tre got loud with Kathy. She is, like the rest, desperate to be cast. She just gave birth to her firstborn last month yet still had an in-home audition (where the cameras come into your home for an interview and tour). Heather Robinson: This one is actually more of Kathy’s friend actually. Only befriended her because they live within five minutes of each other and she wants to be on the show desperately. She, like Martha and Andrea, have been stalking the produces for over a year now. Her husband is Cliff Robinson, a former NBA player [pictured below with Richie Wakile at Heather’s VIP birthday bash on December 10, 2011; the Wakiles and Gorgas attended; Heather is not in the photo, but is pictured in other photos here]. The chick is beyond full of herself and will go anywhere as long as there is a camera around. But then again, which of these chicks wouldn’t? Lysa Simpson: No brainer. Look at how she acts; she is as desperate to get on like the rest. The funny thing is, Bravo actually considered it at one point, then came to their senses.

Nevertheless, you will see a lot more of her (as if you already don’t see enough) next season. They filmed a lot of the show for Season 4 at the Jersey shore.

Sheila Giudice: Joe Giudice’s sister-in-law. His brother (who looks identical to him) is very close with JoeG despite the [!@#$%^&*] Sheila has tried to cause. She has not been successful at causing trouble like MeGo has. Her tapes were similar to Mel’s in the sense that she trash-talked Tre in the same way.

Maria H. Chappa: Long-time family friend of the Marco Sisters (which include Melissa). She tried to become a Housewife the same time Melissa had. She supported all of what Melissa parroted in her contact with Bravo. Maria’s hubby’s company has been under a fraud investigation. She is no one to judge, let’s just put it that way. She does a lot of fundraising work for Gov. Christie. Now onto why Bravo started filming Season 4 in May. They KNEW the premiere would garner huge ratings. They thought the new cast combination of only family-family-family would be hot.

They started filming in May and will continue to film until early October. Season 3 was incredibly forced. Everyone was forced to go on that vacation (they did not choose to go) as well as forced to go to Kathy’s house party, on the run, and to the Blackwater premiere party which will air towards the end of the season. Missy sings and the place is mostly packed with Melissa and her family’s possy. In Season 4, you will see Don C and Jac turning on Tre. Jac is puppeted by Don C. Don C is mad that Tre is very close with Dina. Although Tre was always the closest with Dina, and made friends with her first, Don C is beyond big headed. Don C and Dina got into it (like they usually do) but this time Don went too far and they have not spoken for quite some time.

Don C is a very venomous individual. Example: Deloris was originally Dina’s friend: go back to Season 1 when they went to AC. Don never knew Deloris before. She actually made a subtle dig at her. However, when they started fighting, Don C picked up Deloris as a friend to spite Dina. This is how Don C works. She planned to humiliate Kim G, who Missy and Bravo TOGETHER invited with Monica Chacon. Don C turned on Tre because she is pissed at Dina and taking it out on Tre. She is angry that Tre does not jump when she speaks ala Jac. Don expects everyone to listen to her, and when they don’t, all hell breaks loose. This is why she likes Missy, who only kisses Don’s ass to spite Tre.

The fight [the one which led Tre to seek Dina’s advice and which is captured on film in season 4—see ‘Editor’s Note’ below] takes place, conveniently and scheduled, right before Melissa’s single release party. On camera, Don C and Jac try to cover up the issue and act as though they are mad at Tre for something else, but the real issue is the aforementioned. What infuriated Don even more, and helped lead to the blowout quicker, was the fact that Tre listened to what Danielle had to say regarding Melissa contacting her. Tre was already aware of Missy reaching out to Danielle, but was in denial until the WWHL Twitter War.

Don C honestly did not want to go through sticking up for Tre because that means she would simultaneously be confirming that Danielle was correct.

Editor’s Note:

‘The Fight’ in Season 4: Dina revealed on October 24, 2011, that she rekindled her friendship with Teresa after Teresa came crying to her following a confrontation with Caroline and Jacqueline during season 4 filming: It wasn’t until VERY recently that Teresa showed up at my doorstep in tears…apparently Caroline & Jacqueline had a sit down with her on camera (for season 4) and she felt attacked. All I did was console a friend who was obviously shaken. I felt bad for her..even though I had distanced myself from her a bit I was still her friend and she needed me. I did miss my God daughter and the rest of her girls and I’m not proud to say that in staying away from her I had stayed away from them too. Within a few weeks I went to Teresa’s house to spend Audriana’s 2nd birthday with Teresa and her family. No camera’s, no drama just a nice family night the way things used to be…Teresa has been nothing but supportive of Project Ladybug through the years and is extremely supportive of my new show on HGTV. She tweets about it all the time AND watches when she can as a friend should.”

Dina confirmed that she did indeed film with Teresa for the upcoming 4th season: Teresa and I briefly spoke about her broken relationship with her brother on camera. I gave her my best advice and told her to focus on all the good in her life and if her brother is meant to be a part of her life again he will be one day.” When it comes to Teresa’s diss of her sister Caroline in her cookbook, Dina claims Teresa only meant it as a joke: She mentioned the drama with her and Caroline and I told her that if this is all about a joke in a book (and she assured me it was) that’s not enough for me to hate the mother of my God daughter and a friend of 15 years. Was it necessary to write that stuff in her book? probably not but I don’t think it was written with malice either. We are all guilty of joking a little too much now & then…”

As for her strained relationship with not only Caroline, but also Caroline’s kids, Dina stated: I feel bad that my relationship with my sister and her family is strained, but I can assure you that one day it will be back to the way it was. I don’t like fighting, I don’t like drama, I don’t like confrontation, I don’t agree with ganging up on someone (one of the other reasons why I left season 2) and I don’t need to share anymore than that. I am not on this show anymore, I didn’t sign on for opening up every aspect of my life to the world for the rest of my life when I signed that Bravo contract. http://www.dinamanzo.com/press/the-truth/ Jacqueline confirmed on Twitter that the family was infuriated with Dina for filming with Teresa in season 4.

When word got out that Dina filmed a little part with Teresa on season 4, Jacqueline messaged AllAboutTRH on Twitter about it and called out Dina for doing it: For someone who claims she wants to ‘AVOID drama’ she sure picked a heck of a time to go film with Teresa when she would never film with her own family and then she tweets some of the antagonizing comments that mostly only her family understand and also she sent that blog the way she did to cover her tracks. She claims to be ZEN.

http://www.allabouttrh.com/dinaresponds/

Now – let’s remove the others from the situation – did you ever notice how miserable the Manzo family is? Don C is in denial, and refuses to discuss on camera, who her sons REALLY are. Albie, in particular, is straight up homosexual. He also, along with Lauren, have a history of verbally abusing Don C. Don acts like she is so tough and her family is in line, but it is just that, an act. Don takes being treated that way from her children because she can’t deny the truth – she is not the best mother and not the most acceptable. You would think she would be acceptable, as she has two gay brothers, but then again who are they close with? DINA!

Dina, in actuality, is the person Don C tries to pretend she is. Have you noticed how Albie keeps trying to prove he is a ‘tough guid’ since Greg, his former piece of p***y, got on the show? Greg is not only a fame whore, but he is an actual whore. Rewatch Season 2 at the annual POSCHE Fashion Show. He is sitting with Tre. How did he get this close? By [!@#$%^&*] talking Danielle. This season and into Season 4 he is up Melissa’s ass. Why is this? Because he not only [!@#$%^&*] talked Tre to Mel, but promised Mel to do so on camera. Greg has slept with every other dude in the tri-state area. He doesn’t like to work, and over time accumulated money by selling his ass on promiscuous gay hookup sites. He also has a drug habit. Don C must be proud!

Editor’s Note: Teresa’s family and friends, lead by Melissa Gorga (remember, she promised Bravo that she would bring family drama and destroy Teresa if they cast her), ridiculed her behind her back throughout season 3, an example of which is in the video above.

Season 4 is pretty much a repeat of season 3. Once they realized RHONJ was going to get old pretty quickly, they started casting for Season 5. They hired a very small casting production company [VPE Talent] to do their work. The real reason why RHONJ may flop completely? Because the head at VPE is more concerned with wanting to be friends with the potential housewives than do his job. And which wannabe housewives are up his ass to get on the show?

Missy’s busted possy – you guessed it! The last thing I will note in this e-mail is that Missy & Joe do not ‘pay their bills’ as they always say. They owe Fabulous Foods $49,500 in Season 4. Joe Gorga never answered any form of communication from Fred, and initially paid Fred $500 then told him he would ‘take care of the rest’ via free construction work. Fred was taken back. He has one of the most beautiful homes in NJ – he needed the salary of a receipt he was owed, not $500 + probono work. After months and months of getting nowhere – Fred got angry. He was about to go to the press regarding Joey G, but Kim D stopped him.

Interestingly, it was at a house party of Kim D’s where [!@#$%^&*] hit the fan. Bravo producers knew of what happened and asked Kim to bring it up at the party. Kim, knowing the show is half staged, assumed the other girls knew that this was going to happen and brought it up in front of Melissa. Missy went crazy. So did Joey G. In Season 4 they deny it, even though initially Kim tried to help them by asking Fred to not go to the press.

Remember when Joe Gorga said on the WWHL After Show, when Andy asked Melissa if she got her dress at POSCHE, ‘hell no.’ This is why – he was pissed he got exposed. Joey G actually has a history of over twenty lawsuits filed against him. It’s evident him and Mel can’t handle criticism. Look at what they did to Jay Mohr. Yet, after he mentioned how Mel and her PR asked him to speak negative of Tre – she said she was only ‘joking’ and that Jay can’t handle humor. It was evident, by the language of her and HER POSSY, that none of them were joking.

Jay Mohr can’t stand Melissa. Andy Cohen, a p***y, does not want things to get out of hand and begged Jay to please ‘keep it cool’ when he interviews Melissa on WWHL on October 3.

End comment.

Joe and Melissa Gorga’s main complaints about Teresa Giudice in season 3 were that she didn’t include them in her new life on the show, which basically translates to them being upset that she didn’t make them famous by association. Melissa was furious with Teresa for not ‘sharing the wealth’ with her and her husband during the first two seasons by way of introducing Melissa and Joe and allowing them some screen time, as if it was Teresa’s decision to make and not Bravo’s.

Melissa and Joe tried for years to get Bravo to cast them on RHONJ (she stalked Bravo by sending ‘audition’ tapes, e-mails, and even spoke with producers and assistants in person) because they saw Teresa’s success and wanted it for themselves. But Bravo rejected them because they thought they were a joke. Melissa begged Danielle to film scenes with her — similar to the ones Melissa filmed in season 3 with her sisters and Kathy, where she fabricated lies and bitched about Teresa — but Danielle refused because she thought she was being setup.

As last resort, Melissa and Joe made an audition tape promising Bravo that they would destroy Teresa (no matter how many lies they would have to tell to make that happen). Bravo finally bit and cast them on season 3, maybe because Bravo saw how incredibly upset Teresa was during reunion 2 when Danielle mentioned the stories Melissa told her about Teresa (all of which didn’t make the final cut), or maybe because Teresa injured Andy Cohen’s pride when she stood up in anger and shoved him during reunion 2 as she lunged toward Danielle because of things she was saying about her family, which were lies Melissa fed her to get onto the show.

Melissa’s desire for fame started way before Bravo ever came to NJ. She was interested in the HW shows all the way back to the original OC. When Teresa was cast in the NJ series, let me tell you that the explosion should have been heard around the world. From that day, even before filming began, Melissa & Joe did all they could to tell everyone that Bravo chose the wrong NJ HW.

I couldn’t believe the things they said about her. How could a brother stoop so low. They are broke. The house was built as a ‘spec’ house & was NOT their real home. As soon as their campaign to get Mel on the show worked, they moved to the spec house & conveniently never told the bank. I tried to tell people not to trust Melissa, but everyone has to find out for themselves I guess. [Regan, May 6, 2012, RealityTea.com]

The producers are definitely manipulating the viewers. The insider who revealed that the Gorgas made an audition tape promising to destroy Teresa had details that only someone in production would have. I think this insider was a former member of the production team for RHONJ. This insider must have been truly disgusted by Bravo and the Gorgas to go out on a limb to expose them… he or she must have left Bravo and must have safely secured a new job before posting this comment [the comment, reposted below, was first posted at Reality Tea on September 17, 2011–before the season 3 finale and reunion]… otherwise it would have be career suicide to expose them. Teresa Giudice: Melissa Gorga Destroyed My Family by Chasing Fame! Teresa knew from the onset that Melissa’s presence in the cast would cause major issues.

“I told [co-stars Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita] how upset and betrayed I felt that Melissa and Kathy [Wakile] joined the show behind my back,” says Teresa. “I told them how worried I was that it was going to do to my family what it did to their family.” The season finale explosion was crazy to Teresa. “It was clear pretty quickly that everyone was out for my blood,” she notes. “I don’t know why. I really can’t keep up with it anymore. One day Melissa is at my house for dinner, the next day she’s saying we don’t speak.”

Melissa, Kathy and Caroline Went to Various Media Outlets Before Reunion 3 Aired to Explain Why Teresa Deserves to be Treated So Badly by Them: Concerning their accusations that Teresa setup Melissa at the Posche Fashion Show on September 27, 2011, Melissa told TheInsider.com (see video below):

“Someone takes a chance when they shouldn’t have… When you do something, you simply need to own up to it. If you’re gonna throw it out there, own it, say, ‘Yes I said it and I did it.’ It’s very difficult for me to deal with someone who’ll poke you and then say, ‘That wasn’t me, I didn’t poke you’… If you throw it out there and do it, you need to own it.” Caroline said about Teresa (see video below): “Why should I feel sorry for someone who walks away from people who want to help her, that walks away from love and tries to hurt. Why should I feel sorry for that?” “You don’t have the right to play the victim when you’re the one doing all the hitting. Everybody here wants to hug… Everybody loves each other here, it’s all love.”

Kate (NOT the ignorant Tre-hating “kate”) on March 12, 2012 said on AllAboutTRH:

Those on here who support Tre, support her simply because she has, in fact, owned up to her mistakes and “cattiness”, especially with MeGo, Joey, and Kathy. As of yet, none of those three have been able to do the same. All three continue to behave in snarky, back-handed, gossipy, and manipulative ways toward Tre, her fans, her children, and her products (albeit, Kathy less than the other two). THAT is the issue we, Tre supporters, have with MeGo and Joey. Not that Tre is “innocent” and MeGo & Joey are “guilty” but that Tre has owed up to her part in the problem while MeGo & Joey continue to cut her down at the ankles in order to try and walk all over her and steal her spotlight.

At what point do we, as viewers, recognize that someone is in survival mode as a result of someone else’s words and actions (i.e. Tre during S3 reunion: obvious survival mode kicked in causing her to be somewhat “embellished, manipulated, overreacted, catty, gossipy, and judgmental”)? Personally, I forgive Tre those behaviors because I can clearly see she was provoked beyond reason.

Teresa didn’t actively attempt to invade and destroy her brother and sister-in-law’s domain and private life to make a buck. Teresa kept her cool and didn’t retaliate when her own brother talked to her in a DISGUSTING manner on national television. She also kept her cool when Caroline talked to her like a 3 yr old, lecturing her about how to handle her family while she herself wasn’t even talking to 2 or 3 of her sibs. She didn’t expose her family’s private, personal pain. When she and Joe messed up — and they DID, BIG time — she didn’t pretend they were still wealthy, and she set about FIXING her mistakes. She didn’t criticize and castigate other housewives on film for things SHE was doing herself. She didn’t talk sh*t about other people’s elderly parents. etc etc etc ad infinitum. As far as I’m concerned, she can be as ‘judgmental’ and ‘catty’ as she wants toward Mel and Kathy and Caro and Jac too.

JoJoLaMa on March 13, 2012 said on AllAboutTRH.com:

Personally, I’m not PRO Teresa as much as I am ANTI Mel, JoeGo, Kathy, Jac and Caro. I think that group are having a really hard time accepting and understanding that the issue is pretty simple. People just don’t like what was done to Teresa. Screwing over family to make a buck just doesn’t sit well with most people. Mel, JoeGo and Kathy did the screwing over and Jac and Caro supported it and kicked her while she was down, then Andy kicked her some more.

The overwhelming majority of the Real Housewife viewing audience has turned against them. Based on their public comments and tweets, they seem to get THAT, however, they don’t seem to understand they won’t be able to manipulate the public back into loving them again. I say this because they just keep doubling and tripling down on the Teresa hate and Teresa watching/stalking – the most recent and pathetic example is Don watching and tweeting about CA just to support her ‘good friend’ Lisa Lampanelli – RIGHT! If I were Teresa, I’d be slightly creeped out by Caroline’s behavior, she’s quite obviously still obsessed with her.

They keep promising us we’re going to “REALLY get the REAL story soon!” – they also promised we would get the ‘real story’ at the Season 3 reunion too. All I got from that is Caroline Manzo is one serious, nasty, hardcore b*tch and Mel and Kathy are VERY VERY dumb and so jealous of Teresa, they can’t see straight. If they had any brains, and were serious about preserving their images and maybe even potential future business opportunities derived from this show, they’d start taking a softer stance on Teresa and everything that has happened. You know, maybe gently and sheepishly and with humility begin to admit that just MAYBE …POSSIBLY Teresa is not exactly the Devil Incarnate.

Teresa doesn’t do anything to get back at her, Teresa doesn’t stoop to her level so Melissa thinks she can get away with saying and doing whatever she wants. Even a caged dog defends itself and that was all Teresa ever did. Teresa handled herself so much better than any of us would if our family put us through that. And Melissa and Kathy were non stop terrible, I mean they were horrible, they were CONSTANTLY trying to hurt her or upset her and they didn’t give a shit that it was hurting Teresa’s daughter. Melissa and Kathy put Teresa through HELL. And all because they are jealous, hateful women. And then Teresa’s own friends joined in because apparently they didn’t think she had enough abuse. I don’t want to see that ever again, last season was terrible, I felt like the whole time I was watching I wanted someone to help Teresa, I felt like I was watching someone being abused and no one was stopping it. I can’t go through another season of that 😦 I can’t even imagine how Teresa feels.

People call her mean, backstabbing, vicious, they say she lies, she’s even been called scum-but no one can point to one example of something she has done or said to prove it. I think Caroline and Jacqueline were jealous of the attention Teresa received and saw Melissa as their chance to bring Teresa down. They couldn’t wait to believe the negative things Melissa said about Tre because they figured it would finally “show T for who she is” and end her reign as most popular housewife. Well Teresa has continued to be the same person she has always been, and Caroline and Jacqueline have been shown to be the vile people they are. Instead of fighting back by giving stories where she slams those who are slamming her, Teresa has just continued to live her life, realized that Jac and Caro were never her friends, and has probably become MORE popular. Teresa doesn’t put her private business out there because it’s NOBODY’S BUSINESS but her family’s, and that’s how she wants it to stay. I am totally in Teresa’s corner and hope she continues to shine.

The reason you’ll never hear the real answer to your question – ‘Why do they hate her so much?’ is because it would let the cat out of the reality show bag. It’s all about MAKING MONEY and MARKETING YOURSELF -starting new businesses or bolstering existing ones, launching products, endorsing, getting famous enough to get ANOTHER spin-off show = more money. Teresa has done this better than anyone, that’s why they hate her. It’s just pure jealousy. In addition, I think, in general weak, miserable people (Caro, Mel, Kathy, Jac) get uncomfortable in presence of strong, positive people (Tree), but you’ll never hear that either: “We hate Teresa because despite all our herculean efforts, people just don’t want to buy the sh*t we’re selling. Publishing houses, talk show producers and various product representatives keep telling us we’re just not as marketable as Teresa. All we’ve gotten out of this reality show is some bad press and some very temporary Z-list celebrity status. Wow, if I had to what Teresa went through in her personal life, I’d be in an insane asylum. I have a bully mentality and an easily-manipulated psyche that causes me to jump right in with the mob instinctively and try to kill the wounded animal of the group. Damn, I’m really a scumbag and Teresa is a pretty decent person after all.” See, saying that wouldn’t make them sound too good. We won’t ever hear that, but that’s the truth.

I wanted to give the former Lookers employee and her husband a chance this season, but after the first episode I hated Mr PW Joey Marco. How can anyone trash their sister and their parents like he did? I also saw how he related to the Marco sisters. Then I watched the former Lookers employee tell her husband that she will take all of his families abuse so that he can make peace with them. That women may have a nice side to her but she is so passive aggressive!

I started following the former Lookers employee on twitter and quickly learned that all the nice stuff she said about making peace with Teresa was false, as she was constantly tweeting nasty remarks and retweeting even worse remarks. She continued to do this on her original twitter account even after she started the current account, which has only had a few nasty tweets about Teresa. Then I heard about the “mob” tape that they sent to Bravo to get on the show, the former Lookers employees comments on blogs during season 1 and 2 about all the women, all the emails and phone calls with Danielle Staub; and the last is the the setup at the fashion show (s4) that all the cast members blame on Teresa when Teresa had nothing to do with it. Her sisters have been horrible to Teresa on twitter.

Everyone is blaming Teresa for all the problems and not taking any responsibility for their own actions. Teresa is not perfect and didn’t act the best at times this season, but if you had darts coming at your for all directions I am sure that you would fight back and be defensive.

On screen the former Lookers employee looks like the sweet and innocent victim, but there is a whole other side to her that is calculated and mean. It is clear to me that the former Lookers employee only cares about getting her signing career going and will use anyone and anything to get what she wants.

None of this is a surprise to those of us that have known these people for years before Bravo ever had a show. Melissa’s sisters are called the witch’s of the North & East for a reason. We don’t bother with the ‘witch’ title for Melissa. She’s just called a bitch. Finally Caroline’s true colors are starting to be revealed & Jacqueline’s as well. And don’t think Kathy is any better. She follows Melissa, watches the behavior, engages in the behavior only behind the person’s back, and then tries to make herself look innocent. And her husband? God what scum he is. When Teresa was cast on the show, you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing Melissa, her sisters and their husbands, and Kathy and her husband, call Teresa and her family names. It wasn’t just jealousy, it was hate. If Teresa is smart, she will stay far away from these people, family or not. I knew one day the truth about them would come out, and it’s about time.

Melissa has a hard time not taking swipes and jibes at her SIL.

“We pay OUR bills.” “We have tons of money.” “I’m really rich and Teresa isn’t.”

Melissa Gorga’s Facade Slips During Season 3 and You Can See Her for Who She Really Is You Can See the Real Melissa Gorga in This Season 3 Footage at Stoopid Housewives:

http://stoopidhousewives.com/2011/11/02/real-housewives-of-new-jersey- melissa-gorga-responds-to-teresa-giudice-and-megos-comparing-herself-t o-britney/

Melissa has a chat with Greg [her manager] and her husband about starting out in a low-end club for a product launch of BLK water as the premiere of her single, ‘On Display.’ She has her big girl panties in a wad over performing on a small stage at a small club and threatens to give a half-azzed performance because she is in a half-azzed place.

Joey’s face was the face of a man who just realized he sunk some major change into a losing horse… one with a pretty mane, but a bum leg. That scene there is the REAL Melissa. And that is the side of Melissa that Teresa was trying to explain to Caroline and Jacqueline.

It is all about Melissa trying to necessarily be like Teresa. Joey obviously thought a LOT of his family and the way things were done. Melissa tried to live up to it, cook like the mom, have the Italian perspective, and do things the way Teresa does, not because she idolizes Teresa but because it is Joey’s sister whom he adores. It snowballed from there though.

Melissa is using a lot of animal prints these days, uses the same hand gestures as Teresa, the same squeaky voice. Her need to fit into the family, and do as they do, turned into something else. The only profound thing Joe Gorga said was “The problem is youse two are alike. Youse both like the same things.. youse two are flashy… so it got competitive.” Those two are a lot alike. Only Teresa is on the down hill ride of trying to live “flashy”… and Melissa will soon join her.

It’s not JUST about competing. If you hire an expensive photographer to get special pictures, you wouldn’t want your family using the same guy to get the same pictures (same thing goes with a stylist and publicist). There are plenty of photographers (and stylists and publicists) out there with their own styles that Melissa could have chosen from, so why use the same person? It IS irritating to be copied like that. You try to be individual, unique, your own style, and then this person close to you copies it instead of finding her own style. While it might seem flattering, it isn’t. When someone competes with you and tries to outshine you with your own light, it would cause you to compete back, compete for your own spotlight that someone else is trying to steal from you. People should use their own light to shine, in their very own unique way. It’s called being yourself.

Melissa Gorga Lies to Ilana Angel of the Jewish Journal UPDATE:

Ilana Angel of the Jewish Journal interviewed Melissa Gorga, which was published on April 13, 2012 (one day after Melissa’s interview with Reality Tea). Ilana said: I am pleased to report that Melissa said ‘Thank you Jesus’ several times and it was fabulous because I would have been disappointed had she not. We spoke about a lot of things and while some of it did not ring true to me, she was kind and surprisingly candid, so you take what you like from it… We spoke a little bit about how life has changed since they began on the show and she told me it has not changed that much. She let me know life was certainly simpler when she didn’t need to explain herself all the time, but overall she thinks life is pretty much the same. I think her response is silly.

You cannot go on a reality television with the type of following that RHONJ has, and tell me that your life is the same. Her family has been ripped apart for the world to see so how has nothing changed? There were problems before, but going public changes it all. Before the show Melissa was not on Twitter having people hate her and wish her harm. I am on Twitter and I have seen people bash her as it their lives depended on it, so if she thinks I believe her life is the same now as it always was, then she must think I’m an idiot, which I am not… Melissa told me things about her coming on the show that we have all read in a million places, and that I’m not sure I believe, but what I think does not matter… Melissa spoke at great length about her relationship with Teresa and I want to be clear that I did not ask specific questions, but she gave specific answers.

I like both Teresa and Melissa on the show for different reasons and it changes with each episode. I have flattered and battered both. Melissa told me she is a believer in karma, which I found to be interesting. She also told me she has only seen one or two episodes of Teresa on Celebrity Apprentice. For someone who is so big into karma, she does not seem to worry about her own which is fascinating. If we are to believe that family is the most important thing to her, I would expect her to be watching her sister-in-law on Celebrity Apprentice.

Even if they were not getting along, that would be an even bigger reason to watch her, because you are hoping she fails. I do not believe that Melissa does not watch Celebrity Apprentice. I do however question her motives in lying about it. If she watches, she should be proud of her and say so. If she is not watching, then her stories of their family being intact are not true and there is lots of tension.

Ilana Angel Posted This Comment at the Jewish Journal About Melissa Gorga on January 26, 2012:

After my interview with Teresa posted, I got a lot of support from her fans. They are fiercely loyal to her and it was sweet how supportive they were of her, and therefore me for being kind. The thing is, I was not kind. I was honest. She was great, I wrote she was great, end of story. I also got tweets from Melissa’s fans saying I should interview her because she was so much nicer than Teresa. Not cool, but reality fans are hard core and I get that they were sticking up for their girl. Before I had a chance to ask Melissa for an interview, Jacqueline Laurita stepped in. I tweeted that Teresa and I spoke for an hour and Jac immediately tweeted to complain about Teresa doing “another interview”.

Jac spends a lot of time talking trash on Twitter. She is irrelevant and not interesting so I get she is desperate for attention and bashes Teresa to get it. She wrote I was a gossip writer, then Melissa chimed in. I don’t remember it all and am too bored to go back and find it, but the bottom line is that Jac wrote about it, Melissa agreed with Jac, then I wrote to say I was not a gossip writer, and there was a lot of backpeddling.

Jac said she was not talking about me. Lie. Melissa said Jac was talking about another interview. Lie. I wrote to them both saying they were clearly talking about me, there was no need to lie, and I called them out on it. They then took to Twitter to publically talk about me, so it was on. Jac insisted it was not me she was referring to then sent me a message telling me to tell people she never said it was me, as she was getting attacked. Melissa also sent a private message saying she was not talking about me. Whatever. Cut to my saying it was not a big deal. I sent Melissa a couple of my interviews and asked her if she would like to be interviewed.

She publically tweeted to me, “ANYTIME!” She said her “assistant” would set it up. A few days later I got an email from her publicist saying Melissa could not do the interview now because of Teresa. This is the email: Hi Ilana, Thanks for your interest in interviewing Melissa. We are interested in working with you, however because you just interviewed with Teresa we would like to wait a little while. We will be in touch soon. Thanks again. Thank you,Robyn

I wrote to Melissa and said it was a shame she was postponing and then let my Twitter followers know the interview was off. Melissa wrote to say it was shady of me to announce on Twitter she was postponing. I reminded her she wrote me on Twitter and people wanted to know. I told her it was silly to think she could not talk to me so soon after my talking to Teresa, and she agreed, telling me again we would do the interview. I wrote her to set it up and never heard from her. She promised an interview twice, and bailed twice. She not only bailed, but was kind of not nice. It’s a drag because I really like her.

My readers and her fans were looking forward to our chat and I was really looking forward to it. I write a lot about faith, and the loss of my dad, and there was a lot to talk about with her. At the end of the day it’s not really that big of deal that she bailed. What is a big deal is that she was caught in a lie. She sells herself as the super nice girl getting screwed by her sister-in-law but in the end she looked more like a jealous fame seeker than a nice girl.

Teresa is great and I like her. I am convinced that Melissa is also great, but we’ll never know the real her because she is guarded, fake, and under the impression that her publicist knows what’s best for her in terms of her interviews, and dissed the Jewish Journal. All press is good press I guess, but promising an interview to someone who is going to write nice things and gush as a fan, then bailing and denying that you bailed is just dumb. Melissa has no need to worry about being compared to Teresa because there is no comparison.

I’m here if Melissa ever wants to do the interview. None of this will play into the conversation for me. I get that she is doing the best she can, and gets a lot of requests. I’m not mad that she bailed, just annoyed that they are lying about it. No need for drama. I think Melissa is a great mom, has a great husband, and I respect her faith. I am also a writer who has dealt with a lot of reality stars and their “people” and I would suggest to this lovely woman that she get a new publicist. One that will allow her to keep it real.

Melissa Knows That She Must Fight with Teresa for a Storyline

Melissa desperately wanted to become rich and famous, but at what expense? By promising to bring family drama and to expose and destroy Teresa. She could have tricked Bravo and made that promise but not delivered once she made it to the show. They should have tried to stand united as a family with the Wakiles and Guidices, and then it would have been a different story. But she hasn’t done any of that, so it makes you wonder if she has a personal vendetta against Teresa.

Melissa knows that if she makes peace with Teresa then her days are over, so she keeps it going. Melissa’s opportunity to become rich and famous depends solely on her fighting with Teresa, so while she might have thought that she was going to kill two birds with one stone— be famous and bring Teresa down— only one of them has worked. Melissa used the premise of taking Teresa down to get on the show: she may have wanted to get on the show for other reasons, but that was her bargaining chip.

Exit4 said on May 18, 2012 said at LynnNChicago:

It would be hard to turn down the money and opportunities that these shows give you. Especially if you have a “dream” of being a pop star or Americas Greatest Canoli Baker. LOL. I do also believe that Bravo came to Mel and Kathy and I do agree that it isn’t Teresa’s show to cast. Just like Teresa had no control over the fact that Bravo didn’t show the footage they had of MeGo prior to joining the show–specifically the big introduction of her brother at her housewarming party. But then again, they had no part of the storyline–that was still the Danielle years! They KNEW (and you do too!) that they were asked to be on the show to be a foil to Teresa. How ever it played out was really up to fate…but for anyone to believe that people who don’t get along are suddenly going to make nice and “fix” their issues for the cameras…come on, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

Teresa played fakey fakey on the FIRST day of filming (the christening) and the Gorgas, literally, came out swinging. So for me (and it seems a lot of other people–even ones who don’t like Teresa) it’s not so much that MeGo wanted to and ultimately did the show. It’s that they KNEW it was going to paint their family in a bad light. They KNEW it was going to create animosity behind the scenes (for the family) and they KNEW they were going to have to dredge up family drama and situations that no one outside the family was aware of. In order to be rich and famous, she (and Joey) KNEW they were going to have to hurt the woman. And they were okay with that. They were willing to go there.

A lot of the viewers see this and recognize that there is something inherently wrong with it. Now was it her SOLE purpose to “destroy” Teresa. Maybe, maybe not..but at the very least it was 50% of her purpose! What better way to get back at the SIL who hurt you then by encroaching on her territory, so to speak, and ruining things for her.

What MeGo also knew was that Teresa would not be able to not respond to any of it. They KNEW she’d “attack back,” and I can’t help but think they believed it would simply be a matter of using her own negative personality traits against her to achieve whatever it is they wanted for themselves. Be it fame, $$$ or a little revenge. Probably all 3.

I know the more aggressive Teresa haters will say, “why didn’t she quit the show then”. To this I say: Seriously? Exactly what purpose would Kathy and Melissa have without her. If Teresa did tell Bravo she was quitting, chances are they wouldn’t have even had Kathy and Melissa–and, if they did, they would do what? Sit around and bash someone who wasn’t there? People would hate that! Plus, Teresa needs the money.

A number of people have gone on about Teresa paying her debts–well, the show is going to help her do that. You can’t have it both ways. Besides, if I was Teresa and I was having the fame and success that the show was giving me (the same fame and success you say Melissa wanted, so therefore you can’t blame Teresa for staying any more than you can blame MeGo her for joining), I’d stay too and hope for the best… and try to control it as much as I could–which is why she keeps saying “don’t say this, don’t talk about this”–sometimes in Italian! (Can I just add that I can totally see some poor PA wrestling with Google Translate to figure out what she’s saying–especially when she turns her head or covers her mouth–watch her, she does that!)

I know she was there first is a childish argument, but it kinda applies here…in any case, most of us are well aware that, without Teresa, the show would be missing something. For now, anyway. I also agree with the Twitter stuff. There is absolutely NOTHING that any of the HWs, in any city, can do to control the fans. The ones who are the nastiest on Twitter are either slightly disturbed and/or simply Tweet that stuff because they love the reaction.

What they can control are their reactions…and I will never get why some of them even engage these people. Teresa (or anyone) could send out 10,000 Tweets telling her “fans” to stop it and it won’t make a lick of difference. I will give kudos to Teresa for keeping the drama off Twitter. Jac should do the same, but she just can’t help herself!

Sabrina Bates on 19 May, 2012 at Reality Tea:

Ok, I don’t write on these sites but I am fed up. RHWNJ was Theresa’s gig, not her family’s. It appears that her brother and Melissa horned in on her action. I think Melissa is butt ugly but with implants, eyelashes and numerous spa treatments, she is not too ugly on the eyes. If one of my family members impeded on my turf, I would probably feel similar to Theresa, especially if they entered the series attacking me. As far as Melissa bringing up Joe’s legal issues on camera, so not cool. In a family, if you care, you know to keep your trap shut.

farishta said on June 18, 2012 at Television Without Pity:

“I do not believe what Melissa says just because she says it. The fact that there was any interaction at all with Danielle is amazing to me; the fact that there was and that Melissa has been pretty cagey about it suggests to me there’s still more revelations to come. And I think it’s a huge fucking deal. I’m shocked that the Manzos and Lauritas don’t seem to have noticed. What is clear on the show is that Melissa has been dancing and weaving around this issue the few times Andy or someone allows it to come up. I believe that Melissa–the same piece of shit butter won’t melt in her mouth asshole who said she wanted nothing more than the family to come together–was corresponding behind the scenes with Danielle as early as Season 2. I also believe that she and the hag sisters are the most likely sources who fed information about Teresa’s family to Danielle in Season 2, who then brought up the misinformation at the season 2 reunion that Tre did not visit her newborn nephew. But the fact that it was a lie didn’t matter then in Season 2 to these assholes, and the source of the lie, which has now emerged in Season 4, doesn’t matter now to them either. When Andy brought it up at the season 3 reunion Melissa danced around the issue by mumbling something about facebook and a few emails and Andy helped brush it under the carpet.

“It feel like she is presenting a false face to the cameras… sometimes her facade slips and you see her for who she really is.”

“The Gorgas auditioned, as does everyone.

Insider Blogs About Melissa Gorga’s Audition Tape and Events from Season 3 and Season 4

Anonymous E-mail Sent to StoopidHousewives

OMG! OMG!

I considered it when watching the show, because I really didn’t understand how they could afford to live the lifestyle that they did, the home was built for someone who is worth 10 times what the Gorga’s are worth. But then the sisters seem pretty down on their luck and jealous of Mego, so that didn’t check either. If she had inherited money from her grandfather so would her sisters.

I did my “research” into MANZO and they are NOT lilly white…hahahahaha. Same with poison Joey…. He should be the LAST to talk about MONEY WOES of Knuckle dragger barney and tre… and I am talking about back a few years ago before they even hit the showCan’t wait for “BUTCH” to make an appearance into the gossip rags… then ALL will know the REAL story about Mellissa… hahahahahahahahahahahaha. BTW, I have “family” in Montville… they KNOW lots of stuff about lots of folks… I wonder when the “friends” from Elizabeth will be coming forward… winks.

Dina Manzo’s Feud with Jacqueline and Caroline Stems from Project Ladybug Plus Other Theories

October 13, 2013 340 comments

Dina's parents

According to an inside source:

The Laurita siblings are crazy: being one of 11 kids with varying age differences doesn’t assure a close knit. Caroline and Dina, along with some of their other siblings, were estranged from their brother Joseph for over a decade. When Joseph’s 25-year-old son, Frankie Laurita (photo below), died suddenly in 2008, only Chris, Anthony, Jaime and Anne Laurita Ricks on the Laurita side of the family where mentioned in his original obituary (the other Laurita family members were added to later obituaries). Caroline, Dina and their mother Nettie highlighted their estrangement in their online condolence messages [they mentioned how they remembered him as a little boy]. Before his death, Frankie worked as a marketing executive for Joseph and Chris’ company Signature Apparel [which was forced into bankruptcy protection by its creditors in 2009 – a lawsuit against the Laurita brothers is still pending]. Chris has a tattoo on his wrist in memory of Frankie, and his son Nicholas’ middle name also is in his nephew’s memory. Caroline is closest to Chris, and she spends a lot of time with his sons; she is CJ’s godmother. Likewise, Chris is close to Caroline’s children. In Caroline’s book, Let Me Tell You Something, she revealed that a few years ago her then 71-year-old mother decided to leave Caroline’s father (see photo of parents above) and she moved in with Caroline; their father didn’t attend Christmas at Caroline’s house that year because of the separation.

On October 13, 2012, during part 3 of the season 4 reunion special, Dina tweeted her frustration that Caroline and Jacqueline portray her as “the bad guy,” and she wrote that her estrangement from two of her siblings, Chris and Caroline, has nothing to do with Teresa:

“#bullshit #bullshit #bullshit. I have 11 siblings I stay away from 2 of them. Do the math. I’m not going to say negative things about my siblings & go into why we don’t speak. But it’s not fair how they portray me as they bad guy. Not fair at all and it only fuels the hurt… I’ll end it at that. Turning the tv off now. Do you think for a second if I felt love from them I would stay away?? This has nothing to do with Teresa BTW.”

October 2014 Updates: See the last comment in this blog post for updates on the feud between Dina Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita and Jim Marchese’s attempt to disgrace Dina and her charity, Project Ladybug. Also see the last comment in the blog post “Jacqueline Laurita Tells Tabloids That Dina Manzo Wants Bravo to Fire Her So Dina Can Return to RHONJ” for more 2014 updates.

December 4, 2013 Update: In an exclusive interview with In Touch, Dina revealed that she and Caroline are “totally fine,” adding that anger has been replaced by civility, if not warm and fuzzy friendship:

“When we see each other, we kiss each other hello. We just don’t hang out for Sunday dinner, that’s all.”

Now that wombs have been cleaned up, and the sisters are back together, Dina says she recently spent quality time with Caroline and her newly engaged daughter, Lauren.

“I will be at Lauren’s wedding,” Dina told In Touch.

“If Caroline needed me and called me tomorrow, I would be there. I love my sister. I will always love her.”

The following is the original blog post, which was published on October 13, 2013.

On October 9, 2013, Dina Manzo spoke with In Touch at the New York Celebrity Pet Lounge at The Roger Smith Hotel in NYC regarding rumors that she is in serious talks with Bravo to return to RHONJ.

Dina confirmed that Bravo asked her to join the cast for season 6:

“I have been offered, I can say that. I’m considering it. And they let me know who’s coming back and who’s not coming back this season, and asked me if I would join, and I am considering it, I will say.”

Dina explained that she is considering Bravo’s offer now that they “let her know who’s coming back and who’s not coming back this season.” Clearly, her decision to join the cast is based on the fact that her sister Caroline Manzo and sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita will not be returning for season 6:

“I never wanted to go back and fight with my family. They’d probably always love to have me back, and you know, I never wanted to do that. Now that Caroline is leaving for her own pilot, and I’m assuming Jacqueline’s going with her too, you know, I would never want to be public with issues with my family.”

Dina told In Touch that right now the chances of her taking up Bravo’s offer are “fifty-fifty.”

As far as having regrets about leaving the show, Dina said:

“At the time I didn’t, no, not at all. It involved really personal things at that point. And I could never fight with my family in public. So we’ll work out our issues in private. We had a lot of fun seasons. I don’t blame anything or anyone, and I’m positive my family’s going to come out of it.”

It is a well-known fact that the relationship between Dina and Caroline is strained, and probably has been made worse with Dina’s announcement on October 3, 2013 that she and Teresa Giudice are hosting an event for Dina’s Project Ladybug charity on November 11, 2013 at The Venetian in Garfield, NJ (see images below).

Dina Manzo ‏@dinamanzo 8 Oct
Come meet me & @Teresa_Giudice (& more!) Help us raise money for children in need! Get ur early bird tickets here! http://projectladybug.eventbrite.com

This charity has been a source of contention in the Laurita family. According to an insider at RealityTea on March 10, 2012, most likely Jacqueline, the Laurita sisters started the charity together in 2007, the year Dina and Caroline signed contracts for RHONJ, but Dina took it over for herself during taping of the first season in 2008:

“Project Ladybug was a charity started by ALL the Laurita sisters. When Dina went on the show [RHONJ], she took it over as if she was the founder and the blood, sweat, and tears behind it. She wanted the glory and the attention associated with Project Ladybug. She wanted to look like the hero.”

Caroline and their other sister, Cookie Laurita, allowed Dina to take the lead and downplayed their involvement, but Dina “only speaks of Project Ladybug as if it were her own.”

Apparently, now that Dina’s Party has come along, Dina barely spends any time on the charity she once claimed to love, and has skipped events to promote her party planning and decorating ventures. The source points to Dina’s twitter account as proof that she has lost interest in the charity. “It is sad but Dina used it to get herself out there more,” the source shares.

Dina made a brief appearance at the Chicago launch of the charity last year and has done nothing more to support the cause. “Dina did nothing for that event but show up,” the source adds.

When asked on Twitter what the Laurita sibling rift was about, Danielle Staub confirmed on October 3, 2013 that it was over Project Ladybug:

According to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital on June 7, 2010:

The Project Ladybug Fund at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital was founded by Dina Manzo, star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, in 2007 to provide “Make a Wish”-type services to patients being treated for pediatric cancer and blood disorders. Through ongoing initiatives including day trips to Sesame Place and sporting events, gifts such as laptop computers and toys for patients, and financial assistance to families in need, the Project Ladybug Fund at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital has become an important resource to these patients and their families as they face lengthy treatment regimens.

On September 30, 2010, Jacqueline went to LynnNChicago with a story that Project Ladybug was not a legitimate charity, and this caused problems for Dina just as the project was getting up and running.

“Dina Manzo’s temper got the better of her once again this week as people have been questioning her Project Ladybug charity. A document that I posted a few days ago, that I received from a Twitter friend (@Geoaubsmom), has sparked the interest of many people questioning how their donations to Project Ladybug are being used… Between the parody accounts and the Project Ladybug.pdf getting tweeted often by me to followers, different people, including Dina, she got fed up. Dina started on a tirade about haters and tweetholes… If Project Ladybug is completely legitimate, Dina Manzo should have nothing to hide; her anger and using sick children to gain sympathy for her cause really has to make you question what she’s doing here.” – Lynn Hudson, September 29, 2010, LynnNChicago101.wordpress.com (The Story That Started Charitygate)

Apparently there was an issue with Dina’s charity where something was filled out incorrectly on a tax form, and Jacqueline, hiding behind the title of ‘inside source’, gave the story to blogger Lynn Hudson of LynnNChicago (who passed away from a heart attack on August 16, 2012). Jacqueline made it seem like Dina’s charity was a fraud, and Caroline wasn’t saying or doing anything to stop the bad press Dina was receiving. Dina went on Caroline’s Twitter page and tweeted support for herself as Caroline; in response, Lauren went and said that Caroline’s Twitter had been hacked (basically denying that they were supporting Dina).

To make matters worse, Caroline did not publicly back Dina; in fact, she seemed to do just the opposite. From RealCityHousewife’s blog on September 30, 2010:

One of my twitter friends began questioning the finances of Dina’s charity Project LadyBug. You can read Laura a.k.a geoaubsmom a.k.a #LauraM‘s full account of what happened on Lynn’s blog.

The short version of part of the story is that Laura called the charity. No one picked up and her call went to a voice mailbox that was full.

After Laura tweeted that she called the charity, Dina tweeted this:

@jennifersale no worries Mama~I’m on it. They r basically being charged w slander &harassment When they start calling me, they’re askin 4it

Guys I LOVE u but no need to defend, Laura M is now turned over to the proper authorities & will be dealt with accordingly. Thank you!

This tweet led to a whole lot of twitter speculation over who the “proper authorities” are. Phone police? Twitter police? Manzo Mob?

Here are a couple more tweets from Dina:

Yes tweetholes, I will call u out on your nastiness if I’m in the mood & erase it after u read it. U don’t deserve the followers u may get.

In a world w such serious issues as childhood cancer & suicide~certain people still choose to spend their time being hateful. MIND BOGGLING

Do you think she yells at Jacqueline, Ashley, Teresa or Caroline about the amount of time they spend being hateful towards Danielle instead of doing volunteer work?

Caroline tweeted this:

Please stop

But then later there was this tweet from Caroline’s account:

hi guys! its @laurenmanzo some1 hacked into my moms account and wrote the “please stop” tweet..i changed her password evrything is fine!

On October 5, 2010, Lynn Hudson did a follow-up blog on the Project Ladybug scandal:

As most of you know, there have recently been some questions regarding Dina Manzo’s charity, Project Ladybug. Simple questions turned into a fury of accusations and name calling on twitter over the past week with Dina’s fans choosing to live in the dark and not know the truth while others questioned what is really going on at Project Ladybug. At the front of the line asking questions was Laura aka @Geoaubsmom wanting to review financial records from this public charity, as is her right.

Never missing a thing, radio personality Carly Hall caught wind of the debate and asked me to join her discussion on her show along with Laura (@geoaubsmom) to see if we could clarify the details of what has happened to date.

That interview (approximately 50 minutes long) can be heard here: http://tiny.cc/cn5xk (interview is no longer available at this link)

You can also read the details in my previous blog: http://wp.me/pVOhN-aw

Also on October 5, 2010, RealCityHousewife wrote a blog about the scandal:

As many of you know, there has been a lot of craziness happening on the blogs and twitter lately. Lynn did a good breakdown of events on her most recent blog.

So here is what went down, a few days ago Lynn had someone posting in the comments section of her blog using the name “I Shit Over The Rainbow And Found Pots Of Gold” (classy, I know) but we just refer to her as “Rainbow”. She claimed to know the Manzo’s and was posting the rumors she had heard from people she knows around town. Her information was mostly stuff we already knew, and there were a few accusations that I think crossed the line and don’t care to repeat. Her comments are still up in the comments section on this blog, this blog and this blog if you want to read through them.

After Rainbow started posting, someone else began posting as well using a bunch of different names, but with the same pink quilt, giving it away that it was the same person. This person began SCREAMING insults at Rainbow and all of us. Those comments are still up too – the name changed with almost every post, but you’ll know the poster by the pink quilt and ALL CAPS comments. One of the names used by Pink Quilt Crazy Names was “Diamond Lover”.

On the same day that those posts were being made on Lynn’s blog there was a twitter account created with the name @diamondblonde90 who began yelling at people who don’t love Dina. But then the next day @diamondblonde90 sent messages to all of us claiming that Dina paid her to do it, but that she didn’t take the money and that she was now outing Dina. It only got crazier from there.

My twitter friend @Duhresa_Giudice (haha) sent her a tweet saying that she traced the IP and that the account was coming back as registered to the same IP Dina’s verified twitter account uses. Obviously she didn’t really trace the IP, but @diamondblonde90 responded by saying that tracing IP’s was illegal and that she had called the police and that there was now a warrant out for @Duhresa_Giudice’s arrest (reminds me of when Dina claimed to have contacted the “proper authorities” in response to Laura calling her charity). Shortly after that, the account was deleted.

This is all that could be found of what was once @diamondblonde90′s twitter account. (Thank you @tweeterlaura for finding this) The tweets shown are the older ones and unfortunately we were unable to find the really crazy tweets from the hours before the account was deleted.

There is also another fake account believed to be Dina, and that is @janislanton. That account has stopped tweeting, but it is still up and you can view it here.

Lynn (@LynnNChicago) and Laura (@geoaubsmom #LauraM #ProperAuthorities) did an interview with Carly Hall (@PrettyPlusMore) about the whole Dina Manzo/Project LadyBug twitter drama. You can listen to the interview here (interview is no longer available at this link). The interview is long, but I found it entertaining, and they called me funny so of course I think it was the most amazing interview I’ve ever heard.

You can also read the blog Lynn and Laura wrote about the Project LadyBug drama when it first started here.

Also, I encourage everyone to re-watch this footage of The Last Supper (season 1 finale) and listen to the whispered conversation Jacqueline and Caroline have about Dina. Also, watch as Caroline shows her true manipulative self. It’s interesting, and I’m sure a lot of you don’t remember this part.

Note from Fame: Click here for the transcript of the “whispered conversation” – this conversation has been edited out of some online copies of the season 1 finale.

The bottom line: The source for blogs at LynnNChicago about Dina is Jacqueline (she was well suspected of being Lynn’s source, plus she also gave exclusive interviews to Lynn).

Jacqueline would not have planted the stories about Project Ladybug without Caroline’s backing.

Jacqueline has always had a nasty habit of running to the press and being an insider on different stories. She goes to magazines, blogs, and even direct messages people on Twitter. When she does this, she often say nasty things, depending on who she is mad at or how she is feeling. She herself admitted on camera that she gets nasty when she’s hurt:

“If I get hurt I get nasty, and I got nasty because I was hurt.” – Jacqueline Laurita, Season 4 Episode 15

The following are excerpts from blogs about Project Ladybug, all written because of the rumors being spread by Jacqueline.

“In an internet radio interview, @Geoaubsmom asked Jacqueline Laurita outright on Twitter if she heard the recent interview that Carly Hall did regarding Dina Manzo’s Project Ladybug Charity. Here is Jacqueline’s response on October 17, 2010: ‘I have. What do you expect me to say? I’m not getting involved in that. So I will just say, NO COMMENT to all those asking’.” – Lynn Hudson, October 18, 2010, LynnNChicago101.wordpress.com

“LynnNChicago has added to ‘Project Ladybug Woes’ on her site. It has now become a collection of document(s) and screen-shots of bizarre TWITTER messages. People who have made innocent (ok, maybe skeptically innocent) inquiries into the PL (PROJECT LADYBUG) financials have been met with emotionally charged messages, like ‘you are trying to hurt sick children!!!’ to THREATS that they have been reported to ‘authorities’. Lynn’s blog is abuzz with talk of PL today, and one commenter posted a link to a recent newspaper article (August 2010) that boasts donations of $20,000.” – Dina’s Still Being Pestered About PROJECT LADYBUG, September 30, 2010, NJHousewives.blogspot.com

Jacqueline gave an exclusive interview to LynnNChicago, published on April 23, 2012, where she spread more rumors about Dina:

“There is a Trump connection, they have the same publicist company and the charity that Teresa is playing for is also Trump’s” Jac told me.

Fascinating! Jacqueline told us that Teresa’s Celebrity Apprentice charity NephCure Foundation is one that is near and dear to Trump and that Teresa may have chosen it with a little nudge from Trump’s people as she met this family at a Trump event. Regardless of why she chose it, it is an excellent charity.

Jacqueline confirmed that Dina Manzo had hopes that Teresa would chose her charity, “Project Ladybug” and that it would explain why Dina broke her vow to avoid all of the Jersey Housewives and film with Teresa.

Jacqueline brought up Dina Manzo, she told me that her sister-in-law doesn’t speak to any of the Housewives,

“Dina doesn’t talk to any of us anymore, she decided to stay away from all of us that were involved with the show, she wanted to be on her own”.

Before I could ask about Dina’s involvement with Teresa, Jacqueline offered,

“Teresa reached out to Dina and I still don’t know why Dina agreed to film with her, they’re not friends now.”

I asked Jacqueline what she thought of Dina’s show, “well, it got picked up for another season” was all I could get out of her.

Jacqueline, as usual, inserted herself in the middle of the conflict between Dina and Caroline. Jacqueline has caused drama for Dina since season 1 premiered (click here for the transcript of the fight between Jacqueline and Dina in the final episode of season 1 after the infamous table flip), and she is the reason that Dina is not speaking to her brother because, as Jacqueline’s husband, he did nothing to stop her. Caroline also stood by and did nothing to stop Jacqueline, and this is also why Dina is not speaking to Caroline.

The following are some other theories about the rift from a FW blog published on October 15, 2012, but was taken offline in September 2013 and is now marked “private,” plus a comment from adioslunatic from this blog post.
