The following is the latest account from NewJersey.com about the assault charges filed against Joe Gorga, Chris Laurita and Jacqueline Laurita:
John Karagiorgis “stated he was punched in the left eye and in the nose by Joe Gorga.” Gorga yelled, “I’ll [expletive] kill you,” as Karagiorgis was repeatedly punched in the head. Gorga then allegedly walked around the camera crew. That’s when Christopher Laurita punched Karagiorgis on the left side of the head with a closed fist. Laurita similarly threatened to kill Karagiorgis, the complaint alleged. “Mr. Gorga then emerged from behind the victim and again punched him with a closed fist… This time, he struck him in the back of the head.” Next, “Jacqueline Laurita then struck the victim in the forehead with the heel of a stiletto type shoe. Eventually, security for the television show was able to separate all parties involved without any further incidents.”
According to the Ridgewood-Glenrock Patch on April 3, 2013, Penny Drossos’ husband John Karagiorgis (@JohnnytheGrk in the photo above with Pete Giudice at the season 4 Posche Fashion Show) filed a citizen complaint against Joe Gorga and Chris Laurita, accusing them of assaulting him at the grand opening of Posche 2 in Ridgewood, NJ on March 30, 2013.
On April 5, 2013, NorthJersey.com reported that the municipal judge in the case determined there is sufficient probable cause to charge three cast mates — Joe Gorga, Chris Laurita and Jacqueline Laurita — with assault. An initial hearing for Joe Gorga and the Lauritas has been set for April 18.
Three cast members from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” including star Jacqueline Laurita, will be charged with assault and terroristic threats following a ruling Thursday evening by municipal Judge David Pfund.
Pfund determined Thursday that sufficient probable cause existed for the charges — stemming from a bloody attack at a grand opening at a clothing boutique over the weekend — to proceed against Laurita, her husband Christopher, and Joe Gorga.
John Karagiorgis, an employee of Clifton’s popular Rutt’s Hut, claims the Lauritas and Gorga attacked him Saturday night during the event, which was being filmed for the popular Bravo show.
According to Ridgewood Municipal Court Administrator Maria Doerr, counter-complaints filed Thursday afternoon against Karagiorgis by the Lauritas and Gorga were not heard last night.
A probable cause hearing on both counter-claims will be held next week, Doerr said. Since the charges approved Thursday night are for indictable offenses, the case will be forwarded on to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

Jacqueline Laurita allegedly hit John on the head with her high-heeled shoe. This is not the first physical altercation in which Jacqueline allegedly has been involved: she hit an ex boyfriend, she punched Caroline in the face, and (based on what Ashlee said on camera) she later laughed about Ashlee pulling Danielle’s hair and ripping out her weave.
“I am friends with Ashlee, Jacqueline’s daughter. Last season all the beef between them was because Ashlee knows about her mother’s past as a stripper, and Jacqueline had a lot of guilt due to that and was afraid Ashlee would hint at her past on the show. This is why Ashlee moved out to Cali on money she made from the show, even though her parents made it seem like a ploy on their part to get Ashlee out of the house. Jac became so paranoid, and was trying to use whatever excuse she could to get her daughter to move away due to the skeletons in her closet.
Also Ashley was told by her mom in Season 2? to threaten Danielle Staub, make fake facebook pages, and do other things to hurt Danielle in order to continue living in her home (she told me). Ashley was so tired of her mother acting like a goody-two shoes on TV when she hasn’t been the most perfect mother. She was also tired of the Manzo kids acting like they had their shit together, while making fun of her on TV when they were still getting money from their parents. It’s also why Ashley got the tattoo of the skull head on the back of her wrist as a reminder to always be honest to herself and to never keep any skeletons in her closet like her mom and other members of the family.”
The owner of Moxie Salon claims that John Karagiorgis said something at the grand opening about the Laurita’s son, which he has adamantly denied on Twitter:

A source told Fame-Whorgas that Karagiorgis (JTG) never said anything about Nicholas at the event or at any other time [perhaps the Gorgas or Bravo producers told the Lauritas that Karagiorgis said something and they took it as the truth]:
Joe Gorga was the first to confront JTG, asking him, “Who’s telling you all this info”, and Joe had security get behind JTG and apparently this is when Joe took a shot or lunged at JTG, who tossed Joe off of him and onto the sinks (which is how they got broken).
Joe threw the first punch and then Chris charged at JTG, shouting something like, “You made fun of my son”, which is how the rumor started; JTG replied, “I didn’t say sh-t about your son,” and when JTG turned away, Chris took a cheap shot at him and Jacqueline hit him in the forehead with her stiletto type shoe.
In self-defense, JTG tossed Chris into the wall. Security tackled JTG, and JTG shouted, “You’re all a bunch of f-cking p-ssies, swinging at people being held.”
JTG didn’t get carried out, he walked out, and Bravo security (off duty cops) apologized, saying, “It wasn’t supposed to go down this way.” JTG went immediately to the police station to file a report, where they took pictures of his injuries.
The NY Post also reported on the story and said that when reached at home, Karagiorgis referred questions to his lawyer.
The following report from People magazine claims the Lauritas and Gorga have filed counter-complaints against Karagiorgis:

“It was a huge brawl,” Jennifer Dunn, a local salon owner who shares space with the new boutique told the Fairlawn-Saddlebrook Patch. “Three of Kim D’s clothes racks were destroyed and three of our custom sinks were broken. There was blood on the walls.”
Another report says Jacqueline took off her shoes and bashed Karagiorgis on the head.
A source close to the Lauritas denies the accusation and defends the reality stars.
“She never used her shoe against [Karagiorgis],” says the source. “And everyone felt as though he came in there confrontational, and instigated the fight.”
These latest charges come just days after Jacqueline told PEOPLE how well the family has been faring lately.
“We’ve all been through so much but we are in a really good place right now,” she said at the Bravo upfront event Thursday. “We’ve put a lot of the bad blood behind us and worked through our issues.”
As for their son Nicholas, Chris Laurita says,
“He keeps progressing, and then regressing, but he’s doing so well. We’re really happy with his progress. He’s a great little boy.”
An initial hearing for Gorga and the Lauritas has been set for April 18.

Two cast members of The Real Housewives of New Jersey are accused of assaulting a guest at the grand opening of a Ridgewood business on Saturday.
A Paramus man has filed charges against two cast members of the Real Housewives of New Jersey after a sink-throwing brawl left blood on the walls at the Saturday grand opening of a Ridgewood clothing boutique, Patch has learned. More than 100 guests were at the opening of Real Housewives regular Kim DePaola’s Posche 2, including the show’s cast and crew, when the drama broke out.
Moxie Salon co-owner Jennifer Dunn confirmed a fight broke out after a guest, identified as Johnny Karagiorgis, 38, of Paramus, allegedly made fun of the autistic son of cast member Jacqueline Laurita and her husband Christopher.
Posche 2 is in the same space that houses Moxie Salon’s yet-to-open second location.
Joe Gorga and Albie Manzo came to Christopher Laurita’s aid during the confrontation and it led to a brawl between the Housewives men and Karagioris, Dunn said.
“It was a huge brawl. Three of Kim D’s clothes racks were destroyed and three of our custom sinks were broken,” Dunn told Patch Wednesday. “There was blood on the walls.”
One of the fight participants threw one of the sinks during the fight, Dunn said. Bravo’s cameras were rolling and captured the tumult.
Ridgewood police confirmed a brawl took place Saturday night and said Karagiorgis filed a citizen’s complaint alleging that three men assaulted him.
Sources tell Patch two of the three men named in Karagiorgis’s complaint are cast members Gorga and Christopher Laurita. Manzo was not named in the complaint, sources said.
Police said the investigation into the brawl remains active. Ridgewood Municipal Court Judge David Pfund will conduct a probable cause hearing to determine if charges are filed against the alleged aggressors.
“There was a report of a dispute that led to an assault,” Ridgewood Police Chief John Ward said. “We cannot confirm or deny it involved any cast members.”
Ward declined further comment, but said he was unaware if any cross-complaints had been filed against Karagiorgis or other parties.
Dunn estimated the damage to the sinks and the wall to be more than $15,000. Kim D’s clothing damage was also said to have represented tens of thousands in losses.
The Housewives were remorseful the brawl broke out on Saturday night, Dunn said.
“They felt really awful about it. I want people to know they’re so much nicer than they’re made out to be.”

“Teresa has been talking sh*t about everyone on the show, and she roped Johnny and Penny Karagiorgis into doing her dirty work this season,” the source exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
“Melissa Gorga had had enough of the lies she says they’re spreading about her, so Teresa finally said she would confront Penny, which did not go well because she denied any of her involvement!”
Teresa tried to tell Melissa that she and Penny weren’t even friends, but Penny called her out! Penny started screaming that she and Teresa talk on the phone all the time, that they talk for hours each night and says that she even has phone records, which makes Teresa furious!
“Instead of arguing back or denying that she did ever talk to Penny, Teresa just kept screaming over and over again ‘Whatever, bitch!’ and then told her to ‘F*ck off!’”
That’s when the source said Melissa tried to end the bickering with the two women.

According to the source, Teresa and Penny have been friends for a while and she has been plotting to destroy her sister-in-law’s reputation, so now she is terrified that Penny is going spill the beans about their relationship and show her phone records that prove that they’ve been talking.
“Teresa is so scared about these phone records coming out! Even though she tries to play nice her hatred for Melissa will not stop. She’s brought in these other people to destroy Melissa and now it is finally backfiring!”

Penny has phone records against Teresa, that Teresa and her have been talking about destroying Melissa. I guess Penny is mad because Teresa didn’t get her on the show, and just and Melissa an Joe they(Penny an John) are turning on Teresa as well.

There I was merely posting on the other thread…. I wonder if violence it’s against the rules in Bravo land? They seem to foster this environment of bullies and thuggery. Remember no one did anything with Rosie and her threats at the reunion? They just bought her on stage perhaps hoping for the explosion. The whole “table flipping” moment has been bought up on the other page and I agree BUT I think Bravo’s incessant search for the next flip to keep the audience hooked is quite obvious. Why continue to shove these people in the same room? People who aren’t cast members? Absolutely, we’re talking about grown ups who should know better but the ladies keep referring to themselves as employees, Vicky’s told us what we already know – the don’t socialise unless required, so doesn’t Bravo have the burden to supply a safe work environment free from harassment and physical threat? Argue “it’s reality” but we know that it’s not? They are supplying to right environment for sparks to ignite. Who is in control of these “events” when you have to either sign a clearance form when you walk in or at least observe a sign telling you that you agree for your image to be used when you enter the space.
I’m all for being responsible for your own actions but these people are clearly blinded by the promise of fame so who’s responsibility is it to draw the line?
You have to ask, if there were rumblings before, and I’m guessing there were, why lead the lamb to slaughter?

Bravo did not abide by any rules required for filming in that town that day. Their permit to film was rejected, so they moved everything inside the little shop or salon or whatever the hell it was and filmed without a permit. Then they submitted a retroactive permit application after the incident, which was of course not accepted. I read this in the town’s newspaper.

It is all fueled by Bravo. The “table flip” was Teresa’s genuine reaction to what she considered being treated as a child. Ever since that happened, Bravo has been searching/creating the next “table flip”. I posted this on the other article. Bravo’s producers knew Joe was going to lose it, before Joe himself knew it.

Of course almost all of the commenters said they would do the same, if not worse to Johnny. Some posters (people who appear to watch the show and keep up with the blogs) tried to explain the entire situation to no avail.
One of two things will happen.
1 – Bravo will pay off Johnny to dismiss the charges. I believe this is what will happen. Although I was all for Johnny and Penny exposing Melissa last year, I believe now they are famewhores themselves. They appear to be desperate for attention, why else would they be on the show and not get paid? Why give your precious time? Time I believe is the only thing that cannot be bought. Why not spend this time with their family. From what I have read in “comments”, they may be desperate for money too. A mere $100,000, plus attorney’s fees, pennies for Bravo, could make this all go away and leave Bravo with exposive footage.
2 – They all go to trial. This will take a few years. By the time this happens, the show will have ended.
Now that the state is pressing charges can Johnny drop it even if he wanted to? I thought once the DA picks it up its game on and the state takes over.
The state (Judicial District where I live) would not have leg to stand on. They would never waste the Court’s time on this. Who would be their star witness? The defense could also use Johnny as a witness for their side to down play the events of the evening.
Not positive but, I think once the DA gets involved there is no dropping anything. The show goes on.
I read his tweets and haven’t seen him making fun of any kid. I just get that he’s full of himself and self important, playing up the “I know something you don’t know”, dangling carrots script. His day of the week tweets sound like a teen or really young adult ie Manic Monday, Thirst Thursday, Freaky Fridays annoy the heck out of me. Personally, I think that the alleged jabs at Nick is spin control from the Laurita camp, JTG may be a fame whore, but I really don’t think that he would say anything like that. The Laurita’s are well versed in the art of public perception — case-in-point, the successful deflection of their bankruptcy and possible fraud at the reunion.
Just because the Laurita’s said he said something about Nick does not make it true. I find it hard to believe that the husband of a special needs teacher would make fun of an autistic child when he is being cornered into a beat down. Could the wonderful producers of Bravo told the Lauritas that as they are PROVEN instigators who will say anything to infuriate their cast? You be the judge.

TP, I used to watch South Park back when it first started. My children were little, and it would be my ahhhhh, finally off my feet time. But about four years into the series it just got to be too vulgar, and I decided I was not old enough to watch it anymore (kind of like RHONJ). I did not even know they had parodied Jersey. I will ask my daughter if I am old enough to watch this one, hopefully I am. Thank you for pointing this out to us!

The police were entering private property and have to be careful in this type of situation. The call to the police was more than likely made by one the guests. They were filming, so the police may have been told the fight was staged. Of course, it was!
Sometimes I believe it was all for the show. Johnny agreed to a few punches for fame and sympathy. Joe was more than happy to do it and Jac and Chris needed a “table flipping” moment to boost they popularity. I would have been screaming when the police appeared at the door if an injustice had been done to me. Did Johnny file that police report that night? If not I think the whole thing was all for the show.
Johnny went to the Ridgewood police station Saturday night and filed the complaint. I think it possible that the producers were in on a set-up but I do not believe the fight was “staged” with each party agreeing to take and give a few punches. We don’t know the logistics of the building or where exactly the altercation took place – Johnny may very well have not been in a position to yell to the police.
That doesn’t make sense. The police would have insisted to come in if they were told a fight took place… private property or not. Domestic violence cases usually happen on private property but if there is any kind of altercation and there are injuries present, the police MUST arrest someone. I’m not sure what went on here or who to believe but if the police were told someone was injured in a fight, no one could hold them back and if they tried it they would get charged also.
I read a book by Thomas Noguchi, the LA County coroner back in the day, cases from his point of view or research and one of the cases was about man who died from bullets to the head, they couldn’t figure out the type of gun or bullet, but Noguchi found that he was actually killed by getting hit in the head by the heel of a women’s stilleto! Yes, he could have been killed!

He is the one saying all these things and instead of them ignoring him, they are attacking him….That makes us the viewers, in this case the readers, wonder if what Johnny is saying is not true then why the hell are you getting physical about it? Oh by no means am I saying I support Johnny or Penny, on trying to blame their crap talk on Teresa . But, when Joe, Jac, and Chris resorted to alleged violence on others they should be held accountable and I don’t care who the victim is. My problem is ROL trying to make this violent brawl Teresa’s fault, in no way is she responsible for other’s actions.
I think there’s so much out there about the Greeks and Missy that it would be hard not to report on them. I’m sure it’ll change once the season starts. This year, they’re going in quietly. I kind of miss Jac’s drunk tweeting and Missy’s finger point before it airs. Maybe they learnt from last season. Remember Missy and Jac started in on PFS before ep 1?
I’m not much of a Greek fan myself but I’m waiting to see how it goes down before I get to excited. I don’t think anyone deserves a smack and I doubt he said anything about Nic.
I think ROL is a great example of conflicting evidence and proof that there’s someone out there who clearly hasn’t buried the hatchet by wanting to pin this on Teresa. It kind of suggest that the mindset of last season hasn’t really changed but I guess we’ll find out when it airs.
I have posted five or six rants about how JTG needs to put up or shut up. He has not put up, so… As soon as “Penny’s contract” after the fashion show was up they were going to spill EVERYTHING… Still waiting, no spilling. My opinion was that the writing was on the wall about the Greeks as soon as the reunion ended last season. However, no one needs a stiletto to the head. This entire situation is ridiculous.

They do not make corrections nor do they give credit where credit is due. Most of us here are very well aware of that. Perhaps you should backtrack and read through some of the past articles and comments. I am sure you would come away with an entirely different conclusion.
P.S. Human decency dictates that people are not entitled to raise their fists, or stilettos for that matter, at a person just because that said person may or may not have said something that was perceived to be insulting or just plain wrong. Besides, it is against the law.

I cannot tell you – smh – geez, I can’t stop crying! I am just so overwhelmed with gratitude for all of you!!!
You have all stood by me through an extremely difficult time – I have had some tough times but the last two years have been the most difficult of my life thus far. You all saw me through when I got my first miracle at Christmas and now I have gotten my second – my only Birthday wish – my mom is still here with me and we got to share our birthdays together one last time. Now whatever tomorrow brings, I am at peace.
I first came here to find truth about a show on television – well, I found that truth. But I also found something far greater – something that is so much more important. Nobody deserves to be assaulted. The Gorgas are mad at the Greeks for doing the exact same thing they did to the Guidices. I call it Karma. I don’t think it’s right to blame Teresa. Joe Gorga and the Laurita’s are responsible for there own physical actions against Johnny. Bryan (bulldog), Johnny and Penny are responsible for what they post on twitter. The Greeks cooperated with producers in hopes that Penny would be rewarded with a contract not to benefit Teresa. The producers control the storyline and the editing, not Teresa.

Does this remind anyone of the fight in Punta Cana? That was Juicy, Albie and his brother Chris – were the Lauritas there, or involved in any way? I notice Albie was dropped from the case. That means something but I don’t know what.
You know, I’ve always wondered about BRAVO’s responsibility when laws are broken. They clearly let Dina and Caroline walk into situations where Danielle claimed to have armed men with her. I can’t believe the Manzos didn’t object to that when it came out. If I were Albert, I’d definitely have had words with Bravo Andy.
The whole “I was never a stripper” thing is such bullshit. I’ve known quite a few dancers, and there is a certain look that they have, a certain way they dress, the way they move. They all have it. I’ve seen average cute girls get into dancing and within weeks, they have the look and the attitude. I’ve never seen any of them lose it as they aged. I spotted Jac the minute she came on screen. I will never believe that she didn’t strip at some point when she was younger for an extended period of time. Melissa has the hungry look you see in the younger ones who just want to find a guy with money and get out of that world. I won’t believe she wasn’t because every thing about her says yes, she was.
Nobody ever mentions what I think is the real reason Jac wanted to get rid of Ashley – she didn’t want any competition under her own roof. There’s only room for 1 queen bee in that hive. The first time we saw her on the show, Jac wanted to ground her for problems at school, but step dad buys her a car? That always bugged me. Jac didn’t even know he was going to do it. Caroline had words to say about it, too, but on TV, she said them to Jac when she should have been lecturing her brother.
Poor Jac is a mess, and she seems to be showing a pattern of violence. She shouldn’t drink at all. That baby needs her at her best. Nicholas was always my favorite among all the kids. There’s something sweet about him. Most autistic kids don’t like to be held or even touched. The Lauritas are lucky their boy will let them hold him.
The more they all hate on Teresa, the more I get behind her. Nobody is that evil… Except maybe Melissa. Tre is actually out of her element dealing with the Posche crowd. She’s an old world Catholic girl that tries to be sexy but you can tell her experience is limited. Anybody with any bar experience, let alone stripper bar experience, is foreign and a bit scary to her. That’s why Danielle freaked her out and in her somewhat unsophisticated view, her brother married a Danielle.
And I get tired of people blaming the financial woes on her. She knew absolutely nothing about Juicy’s financial shenanigans until he handed her a bankruptcy petition to sign because she wouldn’t think it was her place to know her husband’s business. Once she knew there was a problem, she dug in her heels and did whatever she could to provide for her kids.
Sorry this post is so long. I just had a lot I felt needed to be said.

I just have to comment on this picture from tonight with Teresa and Jac. (a fundraiser event). They can say whatever they want about Teresa, but she must have a very forgiving soul. After everything they tried to do too her, she is supporting their efforts and causes. When most people would be reveling in glee at the current situation for most of the cast(who betrayed her on camera and off), she is not! That is what I like about her she’s not perfect, but she is definitely no phony backstabber. She is rising above it all and not kicking them when they are down, like they did to her!!!

I saw this picture posted on Jacs’ TL – not by her – someoe else posted it. There they are – Teresa and Jacs each holding their babies smiling – like old times. It makes you wonder what is really going on in their minds while that picture was being taken. I hope that it was all good and that picture will make a wonderful memory someday – it is kind of nostalgic and bittersweet. I am a bit of a cynic because I don’t believe they are friends again nor will they ever be. Sad – trully sad what this show has done to relationships.

I love that pic! I think they truly loved each other back then. They were good until the Gorga darkness hit! That and I do think they all resent Teresa’s success which is sad. Tre has great products and worked her but off to get her family out of a very precarious situation. NJ and the lost friendships and families being ruined for fame is just sad.

Jaqueline is absolutely vile in person- I have met her and have been absolutely disgusted by her behavior towards her fans (I was one), her cast mates and her daughter. It is so sad that her din is autistic but instead of hitting the bottle every night and hitting up twitter, he would be better served by her actually spending time with him. Her violent anger is obviously a ongoing issue for her and I have heard first hand on how this altercation happened- I am not a fan of the Giudices but I have to admit that they have always been kind and welcoming to me when we have met. I also respect that they are paying off their debts honestly and not being sued by numerous companies as the Lauritas are.

Reports are Joe and Teresa just watched. This reminded me of the christening. Teresa walked away, poison calked her named and juicy defended his wife. I don’t remember Juicy yelling, swearing, being held back by anyone. Juicy is not the most P.C. guy, but he’s classier than Gorga the Barbarian.
With all the rage that XanaxJac shows (you can see if in her face in the picture above) I worry about her kids. That kind of rage with a child who has issues is a recipe for disaster for the child. This woman is too violent in her actions. She needs psycological help fast. The picture with her and Mego where her fist are clinched. Mego is looking at her like WTF is wrong with you.
This may already have been stated, as I didn’t read all the replys… but I say FIRE JACU.. she didnt show up for reunion #3… and now this?? She is a liability….

Detroit… my heart bleeds for you. My boyfriend lost his son when he was 19 in 2008. There is no greater pain. Just know that you will see him again… this is not the end.
With all so many of us here are going through, it really puts all of this silly RHoNJ stuff into perspective.
