Melissa Gorga Lied in Her Book About Meeting Joe Gorga in 2000 – They Met in Cancun in March 2003 (MTV Was Filming “The Real Cancun” at the Time)

In her sex and marriage advice book, Melissa Gorga is backdating events by three years so she can deny knowing people who are coming forward describing events from 1999 through 2003 and so she can deny accusations of adultery in the first five years of her marriage, when she and Joe argued frequently, from 2004 through 2009. She is trying to erase her past to support her fairytale.

Melissa didn’t meet Joe Gorga until 2003; however, she wrote in her book that she and Joe met in Cancun in 2000 when she was 21 and Joe was 26. She claims they went out on their first date in early 2001, got engaged after five months (which would still be 2001), and then set their “wedding date for August 20, 2004.”

Joe says in Melissa’s book: “Back in 2000, I went to Cancun for a spring break vacation with a bunch of my friends. At twenty-six, I was a little old for spring break…” According to Joe’s timeline in the book, he sees Melissa “at Joey’s” in the winter of 2000 and gets her to agree to a first date a few weeks later. Melissa said: “It was instant, we were engaged six months after we met and we were married four months later, so within a year we were married.” Melissa said: “From engagement to wedding in five months? Oh, why not? It was five months between our first date and engagement. We might as well make it a tradition. So, there is was. Of course, Melissa is lying – they didn’t go from dating to engagement after only five months in 2001 to setting a wedding date for August 20, 2004, three years into the future.

Back in season 3, in one of the earlier episodes, Joe and Melissa were in their front yard (it may have been the scene where Melissa was doing cartwheels and acting like a cheerleader), and Joe asked her how long they had known each other (or something like that), and she said since she was 24-years-old, which would have been 2003 (Melissa was born on March 21, 1979).

Also in her book, Melissa wrote that Joe Gorga was a womanizer who had been engaged twice. “His truth – he got engaged at 20 to his high school girlfriend that he was faithful to for 10 years; they broke off the engagement, and he had flings.” How could he be faithful for 10 years to his high school girlfriend (he was born on August 15, 1974 or 1975), have flings but also be engaged a second time (she gives no details about this), all before meeting Melissa when he was 26 in Cancun in 2000? Why would a publisher not fact check the dates before releasing this book? It’s obvious the dates don’t match up.

Teresa provided the true timeline (excluding them meeting in Cancun in March 2003) in a testimonial (TH interview) in season 3 episode 6:

Melissa met Joe Gorga in Cancun in March 2003, she started dating him in October 2003, she moved in with him in December 2003, and she married him in August 2004.

The following is more of the timeline:

She moved to Florida with her mother and had a lesbian relationship as a 16-year-old in 1995, she was arrested for ‘retail theft’ at age 18 in Florida in 1997, she graduated from Boca Raton High School in 1998, and she moved back to New Jersey sometime after 1998.

In her book she is claiming she met Joe in 2000, but she was living with Bryan Bowen during the two years prior to meeting Joe, which was actually in Cancun in March 2003 [Bryan told CY Interview on August 17, 2013, that “a lot of negative stuff has been said about me, which I will address, just not at this moment”].

From 1999 until January 2004, she was a college student (she graduated from New Jersey City University in January 2004). During 2003 (based on a “pay register” she provided), she worked at Lookers Gentlemen’s Club, where “Joe Gorga used to come see her when she was a bartender” (per her April 12, 2012 interview with Reality Tea).

She may have been living with Bryan in early 2003, and she didn’t start dating Joe until seven months after first meeting him in March 2003. According to Byran’s tweets, he kicked her out, she went to live with some friends for a few months, and then she moved in with Joe Gorga – and she told Bryan she was going to marry “the millionaire” if he didn’t stop seeing other woman.

Melissa is trying to eradicate three to four years of her life, from about 2000 through 2003 when she was clubbing and partying with Fred Caruso, Tommy D, and others, and then living with Bryan “Bulldog” Bowen before meeting 28 or 29-year old Joe Gorga in Cancun in March 2003, when MTV was filming “The Real Cancun”.

Melissa desperately doesn’t want the truth of how she and Joe Gorga really met to become public knowledge.

During part 2 of the season 4 reunion, when discussing the gold-digger accusation, Teresa blurted out that Melissa was dating a friend of Joe Gorga before she began dating Joe, but Melissa cut her off, screaming that it’s all lies. The following is the exchange between Teresa and Melissa:

Teresa: This is what happened. She dated my brother’s best friend.

Melissa: What! Woe, woe, woe! Excuse me!

Teresa: She never wanted anything to do with him [Teresa’s brother]. She knew him back in Cancun days.

Melissa puts her hand on Teresa’s upper arm and pushes her back while screaming: What are you talking about?! Say it to me! Say it to me.

Teresa: Get your hands off of me. Do not touch me. I’ll press charges right now.

More yelling from Melissa, which makes what everyone is saying inaudible.

Melissa: I never married him for money. Ever, ever, ever! We fell in love. Because that didn’t happen for you doesn’t mean it didn’t happen for me. You wish that my life was like your life and everyone can see it now, and you hate that. She’s sitting here talking about my husband, my marriage, how we met. It’s all bullshit. She’s lying! She’s lying! (Andy tries to interject and change the topic.) This is not fair. I don’t even want (Andy is still trying to interject). I’m not going to fight anymore because everything’s a lie!

During part 3 of the season 4 reunion, out of nowhere Joe Giudice asked Melissa how did she and Joey really meet?:

Melissa freaked out during reunion 4 when Teresa and Juicy brought up how Joey and Melissa met, probably because she and Joe allegedly were involved in group sex activities when they met in Cancun in 2003 (she was clearly excited for herself and Joe in episode 11 when she “found swingers” at the gay club). On August 8, 2013, xjrsygrl7733 commented about this on Fame-Whorgas.

Apparently Melissa is now denying ever knowing Penny. Penny explained how she knows Melissa in a blog at Faux Reality Entertainment. The following is an excerpt.

I met Kim D years ago while shopping at her store. We became friends instantly and she in turn started coming to my hair salon. Soon after, Kim D hired me to style the models for her shows. That is how I met the ladies from The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Before I ever heard of Kim D or Teresa Giudice, before I ever heard of Bravo TV or The Real Housewives of New Jersey, I was friends with Jan – a friendship we maintain to this day. I also knew Melissa Marco (now Gorga). Melissa and I shared mutual friends – friendships I continue to maintain. Melissa frequented the salon I eventually bought. She came into the salon regularly and even had her bridal party styled by my girlfriends and staff. I was puzzled when Melissa claimed she never met me. Then again, Melissa seems to deny knowing a lot of people from her past. Just wait and see who else she denies knowing.

During season 5 filming, I was “invited” by producers AND the person hosting each event I attended [including Teresa]. By invited I mean asked/told to attend the event, either verbally, in writing, or both. Even though I was present during the events, the edited versions that have been aired to date are deceiving (whether intentionally or unintentionally). For instance, drinks with Teresa, Kim D, Jennifer Dalton, Jan and me at Bellissimo’s: I was told to bring my friend Jan to the filming to discuss Melissa Gorga (a continuation of the discussion started at Kim D’s holiday party), not Milania Hair Care Products. Filming lasted close to four hours. The edited version does not accurately reflect the theme of the conversations. Teresa did leave the table when she became uncomfortable with the conversation.

Note from Fame: Each Housewife is assigned a producer, and the “extras” are also assigned producers, so what a producer tells one Housewife is not necessarily what the same producer or another producer tells another Housewife or “extra.” So Teresa’s producer could have told her that taping at Bellissimo’s was going to be with Kim D and others while Penny was told it would be a meeting to continue the discussion about Melissa cheating, which was started at the holiday Posche Fashion Show on December 3, 2012.

Also in episode 12, Joe Gorga says in his TH that, “when it comes to Melissa, I love her boobs, and the only thing I’ll do again is maybe get them a little bit bigger.” But he did not buy her boobs – Robert Palumbo, the former owner of Le Chateau Allure salon (before Penny took it over), paid for them.

She did not have many girlfriends because she was known for hitting on everyone’s man. Melissa was never a teacher. She was going to school when she met Joe but on her 1st day of STUDENT TEACHING she decided she didn’t like it & quit. She was never a substitute teacher, another lie she has told.

There were always rumours of Melissa cheating on Joe, way before the Housewives show & Teresa is not the one who started that rumour at all. People came to Tre about Melissa cheating years ago! People came to Tre’s family & told them the truth about Melissa when they 1st started dating. That’s why Melissa’s inlaws don’t like her. It was because of what everyone already knew about her. They knew she danced, partied & was gold digger. That’s how she got her fake boobs. She did some extras for a certain guy & he bought them for her.

The dislike for Melissa really has nothing to do with the Giudices but with who Melissa was as a person before she started dating Joe! She is not a nice person, lies about everything & is completely fake. She is a known cheater & she always has been. If you ask anyone in the Toms River area about Mel they will tell you the same things I just did.

I remember her always wanting to have expensive clothes but she would wear knockoffs. I don’t think it was important to her until she decided she HAD to get RHONJ! That was when she suddenly had all these expensive things. It was totally engineered for the show. The Gorgas did not have all the cars & jewels & clothes. They pretend to have all this now so they can stay on the show but most of what they have is not even paid for. The house was a spec house & they didn’t move in there until they got on the show. They have many lawsuits for non payment of services just like everyone else on the show. I think she also got plastic surgery before she came on because she looks totally different. Her nose, chin, cheeks all look different. She got her boobs in 2003 I think.

And still others have actually been threatened by the Gorgas & their henchmen! Look what happened to Johnny the Greek! He was assaulted & stabbed with a stiletto in his head courtesy of Jac Laurita! The Gorgas have gone out of their way to try to keep the truth about Melissa from coming out. But by doing so they have pissed off the wrong people & that’s why more people are coming out now! Everyone is just sick of it! A lot of good people have had their lives uprooted because of this show & have been trashed in the press & social media & now they want to get the real story out!

Many of my friends went on that trip but I couldn’t go because I had a 2 year old at the time. I was 24 & so was Melissa. Joe was like 29 or something. My friend called me the next day after the group sex night & told me what went down. It was after that, that Joe G started coming to Lookers to see Melissa but she was still seeing her ex (and others). Melissa would make fun of him & say he was desperate & pathetic! When Mel walked away we would all crack up because everyone in Jersey called Melissa desperate & pathetic as well! Then she started seeing him but continued to see her ex & other people as well! Melissa needs to stop trying to make Teresa out to be the one who started cheating rumors when it was not Teresa. It was everyone else she has known & who knows she cheated on Joe because they saw her cheating!! I don’t think she lived with Bryan as a real girlfriend. When they were dating I remember them going back & forth a lot. He would see other girls & she would see other guys. I don’t think Bryan was ever serious with Melissa. I think she was into him a lot more. When she was seeing Joe in the beginning I think she was still staying at Bryans house sometimes But he broke it off completely with her & a few months later she was married to Joe G. I had heard at one point that she was staying with someone who worked at Lookers but I don’t know for sure.

I’m sure someone still has something interesting from that trip but I don’t know who. I have a friend Rachael who has said that those pictures do still exist but if it’s true I’m not sure. It might be a matter of finding them since it was 10 years ago. But as we see happening now I think more of Melissa’s “friends” will be coming forward with stories of what they know & have seen. She has only recently stopped hanging out with the people who used to be important in her life & I think a lot of them are offended by the way she has turned on them since she got on the show. Like Jan. These people know her secrets. I think Bravo might have built Melissa up just to watch her fall. Just like they did to Teresa. She is now going to get some of the karma she created!

Production and Andy Cohen mercilessly protect Melissa and Joe Gorga.

I know why but I don’t think it’s worth it.

The skeletons in their closet would make amazing television but producers won’t ever give them a bad edit.

And when they do something bad, you’ll notice that the edit is flipped and diverted, and both Joe and Melissa get an insane amount of talking heads to push their narrative.

When it comes to the Teresa vs. Melissa battles, Melissa was actually the villain. But, Teresa isn’t warm and fuzzy with people, in general… much less production, so she keeps getting screwed over.

I haven’t personally witnessed that behavior. But he was very possessive over her. I could chalk that up to being old fashioned and traditional. I really can’t say either way! But a lot of that interview corroborates information that production dug up on them before they even officially joined the show back in 2010.

They are extremely tight with producers. One female producer, who no longer works on the show, allegedly would engage in inappropriate relations with the two of them all the time. I’ll just leave that to your imagination.

Was that producer named Cat (I think) and ended up leaving the show because she was so involved and protecting Joe and Melissa? There were tons of rumors about her and how she did everything she could to protect them. Since she’s no longer on the show, why are Joe and Melissa still being protected. If they’ve got these kinds of secrets this could be a HUGE ratings boost for Jersey. Also, there were rumors that Melissa and Joe made a video promising to take down Tre and Joe if they were put on the cast, is that true? Thank you so much for doing this!

He then deleted the photo after the backlash.

Charlatan, LOL. But you’re not far off. He is a likable guy and very charming but he is disingenuous.

He would always complain about how he misses his life before the Housewives, he hates fame, and he misses how Melissa used to be low maintenance… yet he’s the first husband to always be ready for a talking head, get actively involved in the show, show up to every WWHL taping that Melissa does, and speak to the press.

Nothing wrong with any of that, but own it.

A:

She worked at a strip club as a bartender but wasn’t a stripper. The set up wasn’t about exposing Melissa. The real setup was Teresa taking the fall for trying to out Melissa as a stripper. That was false. Teresa didn’t have anything to do with it. But because Teresa is a half-wit and a bad communicator, production always paints her as a villain because it’s much easier work for everyone.

While season five of Real Housewives of New Jersey filmed, Melissa Gorga was facing accusations that she had cheated on Joe Gorga with her ex boyfriend, Bryan “Bulldog”. Bryan surfaced on Twitter during this time and dropped hints about the accusations.

When the show aired, Melissa brought her friend Jan DeDolce on the show because Bravo wanted to film Melissa with her friends, but as it turns out, Jan also became upset with Melissa. A few episodes later, Jan was seen outing Melissa’s meeting with Bryan while she was already married to Joe Gorga!

You might be wondering why Jan “turned” on Melissa, but she has her reasons! I got in touch with Jan recently and she agreed to answer all of your burning questions about her history with Melissa, and she is not holding back! After Melissa said Jan is desperate for attention on WWHL recently, Jan is speaking out after turning down money for paid interviews.

Jan was a very good friend of Melissa’s up until she got on the show, which is when things began to change. Jan has had enough saying, “I can’t watch her lying. She’s just such a good liar.”

AllAboutTRH: How long have you known Melissa?

Jan DeDolce: I would say over 12 years.

How did you guys meet?

We met a long time ago through a mutual friend, this girl Melissa Giordano. Melissa [Giordano]’s parents were divorced, so she would spend time here [Jan lives in Northern Jersey] and she she would spend time down the shore. She would always take Melissa Gorga out with her, so that’s how we met. And then I started dating someone from down the shore so we were just able to get together all the time.

You guys were friends and then you were in her wedding to Joe Gorga, so when did things begin to change?

Well, people get married and have kids and go on with their lives so we don’t get to see each other every day, but I guess when she got on the show, she just got weird. She is not the same person that I was friends with seven years ago.

Before she was on the show, did she ever speak negatively about Teresa?

Yeah. She didn’t like Teresa before the show. She asked me to write an anonymous letter to Bravo so she could get on the show.

Did you do it?

No, but someone else did.

Really?

Yeah, that’s how she got on the show. She would take me to Dina Manzo’s Ladybug conventions at the Brownstone and Melissa would follow the freakin’ camera around. Melissa would be seated in the back corner, and then she would always get up and prance around in front of the camera.

So obviously she was bitter that Teresa was on TV and she wasn’t.

Yeah. What she asked me to write to Bravo was that Teresa was hiding a younger, prettier girl who had more money than her.

Is Melissa that much better off than Teresa?

I mean, not at all. Her husband owes a lot of people money.

The house that they live in right now, was that built for them to live in or to sell?

What Joe does is he builds homes and sells them. So they were trying to live in this house but they can’t because they owe too much for it.

Is this why they are selling it now?

Yeah.

What type of house did they live in before this one? Was it a modest house?

Well, no, when Melissa first met Joe he had a beautiful McMansion in Franklin Lakes that he sold to a football player or somebody. Then, they moved into a house they rented in Lincoln Park until this house was built.

Even when they were moving in, they were talking about when they were going to sell it. That’s what they do. It’s like, the bank owns it, but they did move in before the show.

What did you think when she finally made it into the show? Did she tell you?

Yeah, it was actually my daughter’s birthday party. She came in and she was all like “They cast me! They cast me!” She was all excited, and I was so excited for her. She was like, “Don’t tell anybody!” yet, but then she went around to each person and told them all that she was on the show.

Did she promise to feud with Teresa in order to be cast on the show?

Well yeah, of course. They want that. They weren’t going to bring anyone who wasn’t going to bring any kind of drama to the next season.

So how did Bravo find out about you?

So, it was weird because Melissa and I started having problems. I don’t know what her deal was, but she started talking about me to people. Very two-faced. That’s when I started getting mad at her.

A picture came on Twitter of her [Melissa] from that girl Penny that only I had. What happened was, I was doing my extensions, and they were saying she had her nose done. And at that time, Melissa hadn’t had her nose done and I was like, arguing with them like, “No, her nose is real! Look at this!”

At the time, the guy [her make-up artist] was just contouring it, but now her nose is done. Her nose is completely new, so when she denies it, she’s lying about that.

So I was showing them the picture trying to prove that it was the same nose, and the girl Penny must have taken a picture with her camera. I didn’t even have a Twitter account at the time. I signed onto Twitter maybe four or five months ago but I don’t use it. This picture went up about one or two years ago.

So Melissa calls me out of nowhere asking if I had put up that picture. I said, “What are you talking about?” She started sending it to me and I told her that I had shown people the picture because they were saying she had a nose job and I was showing them that she didn’t.

So, we talked. We got set up for lunch, whatever. But of course, it was just to find out information. We didn’t talk for a few months because she’s so busy with her life and what not. There was something that went on Facebook that had upset me that she put up, and I was just over it.

How did she approach you to film with her and her other friend Maria?

Out of nowhere, she calls me to go meet her for lunch. Again. She wanted to know if I told anybody about the night we were out at Sushi Lounge with Bryan. I said no, but of course there were other people there. And Bryan is friends with Penny!

So she asked me if I would come on and film with her to say that there was no meeting together. I didn’t really want to get involved, but she asked me to film because she needed girlfriends to go to lunch with her. Melissa doesn’t have a lot of girlfriends. If you look at her wedding party, I’m the only friend at her wedding. It was all family. Her two sisters, her cousin, Teresa, me, I think Kathy might have been there too.

She was like “Please, please, please,” so I said alright. Now mind you, I denied a majority of the stuff because I just didn’t want to get involved in this. So we go out to lunch and after that, Kim D and Penny start calling me and my partner. At first, they tried telling me that Teresa had a hair product line and she wanted it in my salon.

Kim D has this guy Damien who was friends with my old partner, set up a meeting behind my back with Penny and they wanted to see if we could get me to come on the show. I said I didn’t want to get involved, but then they said it would only be about the hair products and Melissa wouldn’t be there. Kim D gave me the whole run around.

My partner then begged me and said it’ll be good for the business.

At the time, I was still mad at Melissa because she had used me to get information about Bryan and to deny all that stuff.

So when we get there, they push Malcolm, who is my partner, to the side and they place me next to Penny to make it seem like we came here together.

The night at Bellissimo’s [with Teresa, Kim D, and Penny] I was defending her. They were attacking her and ambushing her. And, once again, I’m sticking up for her and Bravo switched it up because apparently Penny has a lawsuit with Bravo, so they didn’t use her in that scene bashing Melissa. I don’t know, maybe they wanted to make it look realistic. I have no idea. The whole thing was just fake.

They just started bashing Melissa. At the table, when they showed me saying all this stuff. It had nothing to do with Melissa. We were talking about an old boyfriend. It was just stuff that had nothing to do with Melissa. They re-arranged the entire conversation which was really messed up.

So then someone behind the cameras asks me to tell them about how Melissa cheated on Bryan, and I said no. I knew we went to dinner together, but I didn’t leave with them so I don’t know what happened.

So what you know is that you all had drinks with Bryan but you don’t know if she cheated. When was this?

This was right before she got pregnant with her third son.

Did Joe know that she was going out and Bryan would be there?

Absolutely not!

He obviously wouldn’t have liked that.

He would’ve killed somebody! She wasn’t even allowed to go to my bachelorette party, that’s how crazy they are together.

So who’s idea was it to hang out with Bryan?

Hers! She set it up. They were talking.

In this week’s episode you say she deserves an Academy Award, why do you say that?

Because she’s full of sh*t! She’s a confused person now. Everything about her is a lie. She’s like a “shore girl.” She slept around. She did whatever she could to get money, houses… She pretends to be better than everybody.

For example, her relationship book about how to keep a man. She’s just trying to make money. First it was her singing, now it’s her trying to write a book. The Housewives is going to be short-lived, I mean how long is she going to carry this out for? She doesn’t have anything else.

She’s just not a real person.

Do you think Bryan will tell his side, since he insists that they hooked up while she was married?

I kind of hope he does because she’s saying that I’m desperate for attention. Really? I’m not pushing 40 on stage trying to be a singer. I’m not trying to follow my sister-in-law’s footsteps.

She said you’re desperate for attention, but she brought you on the show first to defend her about allegations?

Yeah! Every magazine has tried getting in touch with me to pay me for articles, to bash her, sell pictures and what not. And I didn’t do it. There was one guy [reporter from the National Enquirer] who showed up to my salon twice, showed up at my house, the next day he left a note in my mailbox, called my salon.

If I wanted attention I would have done that. Bravo wanted me to get involved in other stuff. Kim D wanted me to do other things, and I just said no. I wanted no more part of it.

Do you think you would attend the reunion if asked?

I don’t know. I just think it’s such a degrading thing and I’m mad that I even got involved. I don’t want to bring that back to my family. I don’t know. I have a little bit of a temper, and I’m just afraid that I’d get to the point where I’d smack the shit out of her.

What would you describe the real Melissa as?

Melissa’s very selfish. She’s very cheap. Seriously. She’s the kind of person who will go into a store and wants to get everything for free. She’s never had style, she never knew how to dress herself. She had to call my sister or somebody, ‘Where did you buy this? Where did you get this?’

If she saw Teresa wearing something she had to find out where Teresa bought it. She’s just never had a mind of her own. She went and took Teresa’s freakin’ make-up artist, her hair stylist. It’s just crazy.

For her daughter’s Holy Communion this year she had people doubting if she actually paid for the big party or Antonia’s dress because she was constantly tweeting about the designer and vendors and plugging their business. She even had a paparazzi photo agency take pictures at the reception.

Probably because it was free. She did that because she probably didn’t pay for the dress. Trust me. She gave a gift to my daughter once for her birthday and on the tag of the outfit it said it was for Antonia.

How did she really meet Joe?

She went on the show lying at first. ‘Oh, I was a secretary, that’s how we met.’ No, he met you at Lookers. What do you mean? You were working at a strip club. No, she wasn’t a stripper. But she would only date guys with money. [If] you didn’t have money, she wasn’t dating you.

So she met Joe Gorga at Lookers?

They met in Cancun years ago, I think he hooked up with her friend in Cancun when they were on spring break. Then he saw her again at Lookers. That’s when she called me, “I met this guy he wants to take me out, but I don’t know. He’s a little short for me…”

When she finally went on a date, he took her back to his house, and all of a sudden she made up this whole story that she had to get out of her apartment, her roommate bailed on her, just so she could go and live with him.

How soon after they began dating did she move in with him?

Like, six weeks. Six months later they were engaged. Six months later they were married, and then six months after that she was pregnant. Crazy.

She was so nice to Teresa in the beginning. I don’t like Teresa, I think she’s sneaky, but I do know for a fact Teresa tried to welcome her as a friend, as a a sister, and as soon as they got married she started treating Teresa like shit.

Is her new book about having a sexy marriage a sham?

She wasn’t even into him [Joe Gorga] like that. She was not attracted to him. Of course, I’m sure she fell in love with him eventually, but the first thing was the money.

When she first met Joe she was hooking up with like three other guys at the time. There was a guy Dave who she came to see at my house after she was married. She didn’t hook up with him, but why would she come to see her ex-boyfriend? But she couldn’t be with Dave because he didn’t have enough money.

Thank you, Jesus. Please! She did tell me, I remember, we were driving home from a wedding shower for our mutual friend. We were driving through this nice part of town, and this is when she was with Bryan.

Bryan and her didn’t have that much money, he had just broken his knee so he was out of commission for making money. And she kept saying, “See, this is what I want. I pray to God to send me someone with money. I want a nice house, I want this, I want that.”

She would say that? I read the first chapter of her book and in it she writes that her family had the first Lincoln town car in her neighborhood…

Her dad may have had money, but then they were poor. Her mom used to go to a salon and she didn’t have money to tip. She’d ask if she could bring a bottle of wine or something. She didn’t have money to tip her hair stylist.

So ultimately why do you think Melissa is making up her whole act?

Right now, I think it’s for the public eye, so that they like her and not Teresa. And she is putting on an act for Joe. Joe’s family is old-school Italian, he doesn’t want to be with a girl who slept around. If he had known how many people she slept around with he would have never married her.

So do you think he knows now how she used to be?

No I think she has him blinded and he will just say people are jealous. Listen, they couldn’t ever leave each others’ side. They were always trying to hook me up with one of his friends, because Melissa wasn’t allowed to go out without him. This is why it was a surprise to me, how she got out that night for Sushi Lounge. I think he was going somewhere.

He’s very jealous. He slapped her on the face one time because she was dancing with his one friend down the Jersey shore. He got mad at her because she was dancing with his friend and he thought she was flirting. She was dancing with him trying to be friendly, and Joe didn’t like that. So, when they left the club, when we got in the car together, he smacked her on the face.

Teresa Giudice Denies That She Exchanged Text Messages with Penny Drossos Karagiorgis; Teresa Calls Penny a ‘Stalker’ and ‘Fucking Girl Psycho Bitch’

“I’m not going to talk too much about Penny and Johnny because I don’t have anything much to say about them. I’ve met them a few times, I knew she wanted to be on the show, and I stayed as far away as I could from whatever rumors she had or didn’t have on Melissa. Joe (extends a handshake to Johnny): What’s up man?! I’m Joe Gorga.

Johnny (as he shakes hands with Joe): How are you?

Joe to Penny: Oh, that’s your husband?

Kim D as Johnny and Joe shake hands: Oh God! Oh God! Oh God! Oh God!

Jacqueline whispers to Chris: Can I ask if he said anything about our son?

Chris whispers back: Hold on.

Joe: I’m the guy, you know, that you destroyed on fuckin’ Twitter. You’re tweeting about my wife: ho, blow, blow job, this, that!

Melissa: We want to know where the hate came from! Where did it come from?

Caroline is screaming her head off at Kim D and Penny. Teresa tells the Gorgas that the Greeks are not in her corner. Melissa says in her talking head that she just wants it to end. Joe says in his talking head that he knew it was his sister (especially since it came from Johnny), but, in a way, he still wanted to protect her. There is discussion among the cast as they leave the salon.

Juicy, the only one unfazed by the incident (in the car to Teresa as they leave the salon): It’s a good thing I stayed out.

Because that’s what the producers wanted – they had Joe address an old tweet from October 17, 2012 (producers removed the date from the screen shot of the tweet) so they could continue the storyline that Teresa is behind the cheating rumors/Teresa put Penny up to it.

As usual, producers took scenes out of sequence. The following is the chronological order of events vs. the episodes (in parentheses) in which the events premiered (the videos embedded in this blog are in chronological order rather than in the out-of-sequence order in which Bravo aired the events):

• December 3, 2012 (edited out of season 5) – Holiday Posche fashion show
• February 18, 2013 (episode 12) – Milania hair care launch party
• February 28, 2013 (episode 16) – Penny’s sitdown at Chakra with the Gorgas
• Early March 2013 (not taped for season 5) – Penny’s husband John’s meeting with Joe Gorga and Rich Wakile
• March 14, 2013 (not taped for season 5) – Caroline finds out that “one of the producers sought to reveal a cheating rumor regarding Al, but no one would reveal the identity of the producer” (Source)
• March 16 – 19, 2013 (episodes 14 & 15) – Miraval Spa in Arizona for Melissa’s birthday [“Caroline points her finger at Penny regarding Al cheating rumor, so the anger and hostility that Caroline and Al displayed in stirring up the others was not to ‘help heal the Gorgas/Giudices’ but rather to vilify Penny.” (Source)]
• March 30, 2013 (episode 18, season finale) – Ambush at Moxie Salon during grand opening of Posche 2 [Joe Gorga and the Lauritas confronted and assaulted Penny’s husband (brawl was edited out of the footage due to legal issues)]

Penny had a sitdown at Chakra with the Gorgas (episode 16) 10 days AFTER the Milania hair care launch party (episode 12) on February 18, 2013, and two weeks BEFORE they went to the Arizona spa for Melissa’s birthday (episodes 14 & 15) on March 16 – 19, 2013. Plus, after the sitdown but before the Arizona trip, Penny’s husband John met with Joe Gorga and Rich Wakile at John’s business, Rutt’s Hut, to “go over what and how things should be said.”

So the sitdown between Penny and the Gorgas at Chakra should have aired in episode 13 but instead was shown out of sequence in episode 16. The grand opening of Posche 2 at Moxie Salon – where Joe Gorga and the Lauritas confronted Penny’s husband – occurred on March 30, 2013, just a week or so AFTER the cast returned from the Arizona spa trip to New Jersey.

According to a source who was present at the grand opening of Posche 2 on March 30, 2013, Caroline yelled at Penny: “You did this! This is all your fault! I hope you’re happy about doing this to a family!” Penny screamed back: “Fuck you, you old hag! And you’re all wrong! I was trying to protect you because I felt sorry for you!,” plus she brought up Al Manzo’s affair, even mentioning his mistress, Jill, by name.

It was this heated exchange (and Teresa telling the cast that Penny was a stalker – according to my source, “it’s deemed accurate that Teresa called her a stalker, and Penny won’t stand for false accusations”) which led to Penny’s change of heart and her decision to no longer keep quiet (in blogs as Penelope Pitstop for FauxRealityEntertainment, Penny has since resumed covering for Teresa and is now, along with Teresa, shifting blame onto Caroline).

Nobody put a gun to Penny’s head because she was willing to expose Mel in hopes for an offer to be housewife; not because she wants to be good friend to Teresa.

During season 5 episode 15 (the last day of the Arizona spa trip, after Melissa’s birthday celebration), the entire cast confronted Teresa about shutting down the rumors – below is a partial transcript (see Calypso’s comment in this blog for a full transcript and commentary of the scene – remember that, before the Arizona trip, at the Milania launch party, Teresa had denied any involvement, so before going to Arizona the Gorgas met with Penny at Chakra and Johnny at his place of business to trick them into admitting that Teresa was in collusion with Penny and Kim D to reveal Melissa’s secrets):

Teresa says she never gave Penny any information.

Poison to Teresa: It’s OK if you did it. Who cares if you were a little involved. I’m just saying, it’s better if you admit it.

Melissa to Teresa: Maybe you weren’t the one who just said, “Hey, I’m going to do this,” but you were there to assist, to do, to be there.

Teresa: I’m not part of it – check me out! If you can live with that and believe your sister would do that to you…

Melissa to the group: What do you think, that she’s gonna say, “Yes, I did it!” Are you guys losing your minds?!

Teresa to Poison: If Penny was worth the straightening out, I would do it. Do you think I want to give her the attention?

Teresa continues to insist that she was not part of it.

Caroline to Teresa: But he feels like you’re a part of it.

Teresa: But I’m not part of it Caroline, I’m not fucking part of it!

Caroline: I know that Teresa, but listen to me – the way you’re going to prove it to him is by going together united.

The others are shouting: Stick together and end it! … Honor your family together!

Caroline to Poison: Joe, hug your sister because she is standing up for you. You go deal with that bitch [Penny].

Al: You’re not wrong. If the two of you confront those pieces of garbage [Penny and John], when it’s over, you will be united.

Melissa TH: Teresa will never admit that she’s involved with these people… I’m more concerned about making Penny stop.

The cast knows that Teresa spoke to Penny about the cheating rumors and took the phone call from Mike, a friend of Bryan “Bulldog” Bowen, back on December 3, 2012 at the holiday Posche fashion show. This is one of the reasons they are saying that Teresa put Penny up to it.
