Teresa Giudice Blogged “I’m So Over This Made-up Drama” – FW Couldn’t Agree More!

October 26, 2014

This post was originally published on September 20, 2013 at 11:25 AM EST.

On September 18, 2012, Teresa Giudice wrote in her Bravo blog for the season 4 finale that she is “so over all of this backwards, made-up drama.” I couldn’t agree more, which is why I am no longer blogging about the Housewives. I have taken many of my blog posts offline but I may change my mind in the future and republish some of them.

UPDATE OCTOBER 2014: I added comments and updated several older blogs about the Housewives to provide information on 2014 events. Click here or “FW Blog Post Titles” on the menu bar for a list of published stories — the updated ones are at the top of the list with the dates of the last updates.

Fame…. NOOOOOO, you are the voice of reason! I love your site!!!

    • September 20, 2013 at 4:19 PM

OMG! OMG! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FAME!!!! YOU Rascal! I was so worried about you I was apoplectic. I just had to get that out of my system! Hooray!

      • September 20, 2013 at 4:44 PM

Welcome back Fame and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You all have been I my prayers 🙂 🙂 😦
I had a feeling for sometime now that this would happen-I’m not sure why. If this happens again-we need a meeting place. Where you guys???

I promise if I decide to take FW offline again, I won’t do so without first allowing the community to form a new site. I didn’t really think things through and I didn’t know I had other options with WordPress until today (selectively taking blog posts offline rather than the whole blog offline). I’m so sorry for causing so much confusion!

          • September 20, 2013 at 5:53 PM

I really think that if she ever has the chance to thank you she should because you fought for fairness on her behalf when she was either unable or just didn’t know how. You have to have a heart to do that when there is nothing in it for you. I like that you are fair and you put the truth out there no matter who it’s about. I will always like Teresa free , locked down whatever at some point you have to take the blinders off even with family if not you will be sorely disappointed in the end . The main thing with a journalist or news reporter is that you have to be unbiased and just report the facts regardless of personal opinion I think you have done that if your not a journalist or reporter you have missed your calling . Kudos Fame on a job well done!

Fame, we have no idea as to exactly what has been going on with respect to the disappearance of this site and other HW blogs recently; as a result, concerns regarding First Amendment freedom of the press and free speech abound!

If you or any other bloggers happen to have received a Cease and Desist notice or similar communication — or if you’re just interested in the various legal ins and outs of blogging — you might want to check out the websites of the Electronic Frontier Foundation (http://www.eff.org) and Chilling Effects (http://www.chillingeffects.org).

Chilling Effects is a joint project of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley, University of San Francisco, University of Maine, George Washington School of Law, and Santa Clara University School of Law clinics. There is a wealth of information throughout the site, including a link for those who have received a C&D (http://www.chillingeffects.org/input.cgi), which allows bloggers to forward information regarding the notice to law students at the various university law school clinics.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation was founded in 1990 to function as the first line of defense “when our freedoms in the networked world come under attack.”

(The EFF was, by the way, co-founded by John Perry Barlow, a former Wyoming cattle rancher who studied comparative religion at Brown and was a lyricist for the Grateful Dead as well as chairman of Dick Cheney’s 1978 Congressional campaign. He was also at the forefront of the digital revolution and has been on the masthead at WIRED since its inception. I think of him as a sort of modern-day Ben Franklin.)

The EFF has a special section entitled Blogger’s Rights (https://www.eff.org/bloggers) which includes a link to its Legal Guide for Bloggers (https://www.eff.org/issues/bloggers/legal).

You might also find the Digital Journalist’s Legal Guide, produced by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press and online at http://www.rcfp.org/browse-media-law-resources/digital-journalists-legal-guide, to be of interest. The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press also operates a Legal Defense Hotline at 1-800-336-4243.

Only you and the other HW blogs know exactly what is going on with respect to your individual situations and obviously you are therefore the only one who would know what is best for you but I thought it might be helpful for you to know, either for your use now or in the future, that these resources exist.

And in any case, I join the masses in saying I’m glad you’re back! Because I am a bit older what could be seen as a coordinated attack on HW bloggers has reminded me of the words of Edward R. Murrow in his 1954 televised rebuke of Joseph McCarthy which was broadcast on CBS:

“We will not walk in fear, one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine and remember that we are not descended from fearful men — not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular.

This is no time for men who oppose Senator McCarthy’s methods to keep silent or for those who approve. We can deny our heritage and our history, but we cannot escape responsibility for the result. There is no way for a citizen of a republic to abdicate his responsibilities. As a nation we have come into our full inheritance at a tender age. We proclaim ourselves, as indeed we are, the defenders of freedom, wherever it continues to exist in the world, but we cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home.”

One could never confuse the Housewives franchise with anything high-minded but I doubt Bravo or NBCUniversal would want viewers to think of the channel as Gestapo-esq either!

        • September 21, 2013 at 2:18 PM

What about a FaceBook page? It could be public or private, closed or not. At least we’d all have access to one another. Does that sound like a plan to y’all?

          • September 21, 2013 at 4:28 PM

Yeah someone could make a private group in FB.

You don’t know me but when this website went dark and I was lurking on other sites I would see you and feel better. I just love your picture. I just wanted to tell you that. One more thing…whenever I go to Bravo blogs and I see that cute little dog’s face I don’t even read the comment…if you hit the like button, then I know I should hit the like button. I just wanted to share that with you. I have respect for you. You tell it like it is. 🙂

I was so excited to see you back online that I posted before reading the article. I am 110% thrilled that you are back and I’m sure that I speak for most when I say that I have missed our little community the last few days. You have provided us with a wealth of knowledge and I truly appreciate all that you have done. For whatever reason you’ve decided to no longer blog about the housewives, I’ll respect your decision. More than that though, I appreciate that you’ve left the site up for us to come and chat. We truly have an amazing community here. It’s like coming home, a soft place to fall after a rough day.

Continue doing you, Fame. I for one am very thankful for the time we’ve had together.

Fame, we need your blogs! You make sense of all of this! I know it’s a lot of work for you but your results help us all understand what’s really going on! Please keep posting and bring back your past posts because we use them to remember what happened in the past when we forget! Specially now with Bravo killing what Penny really said! You and Faux keep people in the reality!

  5. September 20, 2013 at 11:57 AM

Can somebody please help me with something. I’m trying to start a petition but its not working for me. Would anyone be interested in doing this for me please and re posting the completed link here for all to sign? You can copy what I had already written…

Whom do you want to petition? Cooking Channel and Food Network

What do you want them to do? Give Teresa Giudice her own show

    Why is this important?

Teresa Giudice has a large fan base. Even Bravo’s Andy Cohen has said how crazy Teresa’s fanbase is. She is a best selling cookbook author, authentic, real, and endearing to watch as she fumbles her English words due to Italian being her first language. We as her fans, and Teresa herself, know she is in high demand for her own reality show from various networks, but nobody wants her family to be hurt through this process ever again through editing etc…which is why we feel you, Cooking Channel and Food Network, would handle her and her life best with dignity and respect, while letting her do what she does best – cook and love love love. Her recipes are amazing, her family is hilarious, her husband makes amazing homemade wine and sausage. We want to see her cooking with her beautiful mother and amazing mother in law. We want to see Teresa & her big fat Italian family! They are TV gold.

    Oh and this picture

    Thank you

    • September 20, 2013 at 11:58 AM

And as for legal issues.. By the time she finds a deal and a way out of her contract February her future will be clear. Even if she does go to jail it won’t be for long and people will want to give her deals from everywhere nice she’s out

          September 20, 2013 at 5:32 PM

Gessie I was totally stalking you on SH trying to get some insight about what was going on w FAME( I am jackhole2014 , formerly Jack Hole on here) but I couldn’t find a way to write anything to anyone bc SH edits everything out-which just added to my paranoia that something terrible had gone wrong over her @ Fame.

Anyways…Fame, I respect your gesture to rise above the nonsense and take a stand. I for one, have become addicted to the very drama that I criticize so vehemently and have crossed over into the land of hypocrisy. I started watching reality TV bc I was curious about certain things that I otherwise would not have access to, I mean, that in a bigger sense is what it is about for many. I watched from S1 but got really hooked into the Jersey installment during S3 when all of this family drama started like many no doubt. I only began to do the blogging and commenting and venting on places like this when I noticed Bravo being openly and outright unfair (the 1st thing I noticed was the WWHL polls) but fascinating or not, it’s clear I have spent too much time consumed with other ppl’s problems and I ONLY noticed how bad it became when you shut down.

You did me, my kids, my household, my education and friends a huge favor.

I do have a life, I don’t need to be so invested in someone else’s!!

            September 20, 2013 at 9:54 PM

Lol @jackhole. I even went so far as to email the other blogger to see if @Fame was okay. She has grounded me in the past, but i was desperate to check on @Fame. I got nada on Fame, but a redirect to a cryptic post about what happened to her (the other bloggers blog), and told my McCarthyism conspiracy theory that bloggers were being attacked for opinions and/or facts was false. All seems weird to me.

I’m just glad @Fame is okay, and she is keeping up a blog for us buddies in the best blog ever!

            • September 21, 2013 at 1:41 PM

It seems to me that ANYTHING can be said about Teresa-on any blog. But don’t trash the others or you will be in trouble. Over a year ago I would rarely post on the old Bravo message boards ,I was banned after saying MAYBE Caroline and Albert MIGHT have something to hide also. ??? The ones that went in hard for Tre and Juicy ( and sometimes even their kids)could say ANYTHING and EVERYTHING horrible about them -they were never banned!! Are you kidding me???

          • September 21, 2013 at 11:10 AM

Fame I know you, like Teresa and the rest, are sick ‘o the drama! But I hope you see what an impact you had on many lives—the truth is therapeutic!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂 That’s ok Gessie! Like some said above, I saw your name and I felt a little warmth, like, thank goodness a familiar (cute dog) face!! 🙂 But I had (and still don’t) no idea how to work world press(very weird) site. In it’s defense, I guess it is not weird if you are blogging, it is not a social network in the way we needed it to be ! I took to the Leave Teresa Giudice Alone FB page and kept putting shout outs on there to get an answer (that is where I discovered this site) but I think ppl are starting to lose interests! Also, you couldn’t have known I was stalking you bc I kept getting edited or my posts wouldn’t make it at all bc I kept mentioning Fame (not knowing that it was not acceptable blogger etiquette). I too am glad Fame is ok bc I thought for sure that there was a legal matter-esp from what I saw on Faux Reality, Penny’s blog!! But that could have all been a publicity stunt, who the heck knows anymore!!??

Aww FW, I am sorry to see you go. I cannot stand the BS I am seeing with this franchise. It has jumped the shark and become something that fills me with contempt for the producers, BravoAndy, and the network. It hasn’t been fun for a while. And, contrary to Andy’s opinion, it is NOT like a soap opera. Those actors are at least allowed time to be who they really are. The cast members in a reality soap, on the other hand, are always required to live their fake story lines. They ought to get paid a heck of a lot more money as they truly give up more than they ever thought they would. For people like Teresa and Juicy this must be very difficult. For the other characters on this debacle it must come more naturally. For BravoAndy… well it looks like he’s jumped ship anyway. But then who was foolish enough to ever think he really cared?

I can’t say that I blame you fame. This whole thing has gotten so out of control. I think you did a great job breaking it down and getting the truth out there.I am also angry about it, it’s giving them what they wanted and that pisses me off. I agree… I just started posting not too long ago on this blog, while never having met Fame, I felt that she had all of our backs, by giving us the scoop, on her feelings and the feelings of others, *TELLING the Truth*… I respect your decision, but I will miss you terribly…

      • September 20, 2013 at 11:26 PM

I’m so out of the loop. Again! Hubby was in hospital again all month. Why are you stopping? Burn out or has the Gorgas threatened stuff? I have not watched bravo in last two months so I’m clueless. Finally turn my iPad on and the Manzos have their own show? As Teresa would say I’m DONE,DONE,DONE! Bravo is crazy!! Is there really people who want to watch the Manzos????? Really? RHW of BH is only show I’m watching anymore. I tuned out almost all of OC this season including that devil Tamras wedding.
Well if anyone has time to answer me I’d be grateful. Don’t have time to try and look it up even. Men make horrible patients but after 26 years I guess I’ll keep taking care of him.

I’m so happy to see FW back, but sad to read that there will be no more blogs. I can understand the frustration with Bravo & crew (they are evil people only looking for $$$), but even more upsetting to see & read of actual people believing their lies! I can see why Fame wouldn’t want to blog anymore. But, here in this blog, all of us the readers, will remain united. We found a family here, and share the same thoughts regarding this so called “reality show” Much love to Fame !!! We will miss you!! 

It makes no sense to me to keep blog up just for comments. People will just go to other sites to try to sort out the truth. First Stoopidhousewives and now Famewhorgas. I really do hope that the hosuewives franchise is reveal for what it basically is a fraud. There is nothing real about it. I hope during the laurita? Drossos court hearing all this comes to light. I truly doubt it. Although i found your blog the most credible out there I have to say I had doubts about some of the players you blogged about. Unfortunately, my comments were not allow to post which frustrated me. I know today the Whorgas and Marco families will probably be popping champagne. I’m sadden to see what bucktoothed fool Richard Wakile stated several months ago, about going after bloggers and taking them down finally came true.

There is a community here @Fatwl, that @Fame is opening her blog up to, and were relationships and topics outside of Housewives exist here. I don’t care what the discussion of the day is here, most of us have banned Bravo anyway, we come here to discuss, and usually go off in other tangents.

I’m sorry to hear you won’t be blogging about the hws anymore as this is one site that I liked because it told the truth and showed bravo for what they really were and beat them at their own game.

I do hope you havent been pressured into this decision and if so, not being a US citizen, or on us soil I am willing to help in what ever way possible because bravo can’t touch me. Thank God! They can weave their web of lies but thanks to you and a few others like you, we now know the truth and that they are masters at deception, lies ans bullshit!

I cannot take credit for coining the word “Fame-ily”. Many people, including mzjuleaz, ms. celi, meri, momajackie, Sackem, DD and so many others have used different forms of it throughout.

Jeannie is it really a safe place to come?? There has to be a reason why fame isn’t blogging anymore and I don’t think it’s because she is fed up with the bullshit anymore I mean wasn’t it all the lies that got her to start blogging in the 1st place?? I have a sinking suspicion that fame has been gagged:-( is there a loophole that we can find like faux did?

        Hello Silvana and Laram!

I usually only comment here. Very occasionally I have gone elsewhere, and truth be told, the reason behind that is Yes, I personally do believe FW is really a safe place to come. Why I feel this way – because for the most part, people are intelligent, considerate, compassionate, understanding and respectful of each other. It is a culture Fame has nurtured and grown into a unique and special community.

I also believe Fame has pretty much laid out her reasons as to why she has made the decision not to blog about RHONJ anymore and it makes perfect sense to me. That is not to say she will not be blogging – and she has also said we can still comment away on the Whorgas. She has made it clear, several times, she is not in any legal situation nor was she forced to do anything by anyone. If she were, I doubt FW would have been brought back at all. As to her decision to remove certain articles from her blog, I can not speculate and have no idea why but I have to respect and accept that decision.

I look at FW as Fame’s home, if you will. She has invited us in, encouraged us to feel free to be comfortable, and feel at home – only asking in return to be respectful of her and each other. I think that’s pretty special.

I trust Fame and I trust what she tells us – I feel at home here and I do feel safe – surrounded by like-minded, caring people who respect each other and their differences.

Jeannie hope your coping the best you can with the passing of your mother. My friends sister just passed away a couple of weeks ago unexpectedly at age 39. Left behind 2 little girls aged 5&6 so sad and I can only imagine that whatever age you are losing a parent is one of the hardest things we have to do. 😦

          • September 21, 2013 at 1:52 PM

So very sorry to hear this. I will say a prayer for the little girls. 39-so terrible.

i just hope its not cuz of crazy bravo

  15. September 20, 2013 at 12:34 PM

I’ve never posted here before, but I’d like to say that I too was suffering famewhorgas withdrawl. I love this site and the posters here seem to have their heads on straight. This show has become such a cluster of crazy its ridiculous. I can’t believe that people actually think that’s its real. I had Tsil’s # from her first TH. How other people can’t see the fakeness of some of the cast and the storylines is just mind boggling.

Fame! Can you answer some questions we’re dying to know using free speech?
    1. Why did your blog get shut down for those few days? Was somebody coming after you legal or otherwise?
    2. Is somebody pressuring you to stop blogging and you can’t say because you’re under a gag order?

    Something seems really fishy…

Love your site and love the blog! This season was horrible and I stopped watching halfway through. Can’t wait for T to get her own show and MG’s past to start printing stories about her.

    • September 20, 2013 at 1:09 PM

Hey nmd, no one pressured me to take down my posts, and I’m not under a gag order, having legal issues, or any such thing. I just decided there are enough blogs about the HWs, and I am no longer interested in following their shenanigans since it is fake, for the most part. Seasons 3 & 4 were different because Teresa was being attacked from all sides, and the blogs and commenters were so slanted against her, but that is no longer the case so I’m no longer compelled to defend her – she knows what she signed up for, and they’re all in it for the “money and contracts” and fame, or course. Plus the constant lying and deception in the footage, THs, HWs Bravo blogs, etc. irritates me. This is not entertainment. I’ve lost interest in the show and reality TV in general unless it’s lighthearted and fun.

        September 20, 2013 at 1:30 PM

Thank you for all you hard work. I completely understand how you feel, all of the cast and story lines are so fake. No matter how good or bad these people are in their “real” lives, there will always be cast villans and good guys. This is new television territory we are witnessing, where reality shows are no longer reality. Cast members are not who they portray, yet they are not actors. Bravo & all who sign up have jointly blurred the lines of reality television, and the viewers are the real victims. We may have been entertained at first, but at what cost? These people have families and children that have to live and grow once the cameras & story lines are put to rest. I wish them well in the aftermath of all the tension they have created for themselves.

One positive thing to end on, thank you for providing us with a friendly safe environment to come together. With so many blogs out there with so much negativity, the real job was keeping this site so very different than all the rest.

        September 20, 2013 at 3:38 PM

I too was worried that legal action had been filed against you. All in all I’ve decided all the HW shows are so slanted that it just takes the fun out of watching them anymore. My commenting on a couple of the websites, with polite statements, have caused some one to have me blocked from one of my pages. So I had to make 2 Facebook accounts, one for friends and family and the other for commenting. Seems a few women under many names report anything that isn’t pro MeHo. It truly makes me sick seeing the suck up comments to MeHo. I hope she ends up homeless and in the gutter soon.
BUT your Blogs were great fun to read and the only place I trusted to be honest. Yes, I will miss them. Hope your life is much less stress free now.

Fame, I get that!! Please do what you need to do for you. Thanks so much for allowing our “Fame-ily” to once more congregate!! Jeannie, saying a prayer for your continued strength and lighting a candle in memory & honor of your mother. Fame, I’m lighting one to morn no more blogs on HW, but I get why! It’s the same reason I don’t watch it on BRAVO anymore….you can read the blogs &keep up. It is disgusting what they are doing, have done, and the lies perpetrated on viewers. Thank you for all you contributed to open others eyes to the shenanigans and absolute moral bankruptcy of BRAVO,Sirens, as well as the scripted reality show bad actors they choose to thrust upon the viewers. Sending thoughts, support, & hugs!!

What I have enjoyed most about this blog is the meticulous piecing together hw dilming events in “real time.” The franchise can run the stories around in circles and cast members can say whatever to self promote. I also blogged for a couple of years 2007 -2009 and got tired of it. I recapped a show called “Groomer has it” and after awhile people thought I was a dog breeder or an expert at dog hairstyles. (PJBottoms@wordpress.com) I Ieft all my posts up so I curious why you chose to take some posts down? If you could answer that would be great! Again I appreciate all the time and effort it took to deconstruct the filming and interviews. Also, I do hope you keep up with twitter ! Xxoo PJ

    • September 20, 2013 at 1:43 PM

I’ve been pondering this decision for many months. It’s a combination of things that finalized my decision – no one or no entity contacted me in any way, shape or form, threatening me so that I would stop blogging or remove my posts. I knew I couldn’t keep going but didn’t know how to end it. The timing finally felt right, and for me this is the best way to end it. Could you imagine another season of this?! I think I’m going back to watching sitcoms!

In recent replies to blog comments, I think you could see that I was over the show.

      Pixie22 said on September 16, 2013 at 5:55 PM

This is all such BS. I think all the cast is in on everything and are probably great friends behind the scenes. I think we are all getting PUNKED. I give up. I am freaking done watching this. And I really dislike BRAVO.

Fame replied on September 16, 2013 at 8:43 PM

I agree, but I don’t think they are great friends behind the scenes. I think they tolerate each other for the “contracts and money.”

Olive said on September 15, 2013 at 1:14 PM

Just a question – Are you sure Teresa isn’t in on this? I mean, they set up each scene with a story to be carried out for that scene. Teresa may not like being accused of betraying her family on every episode, but in the end, it has made her the star of the show. I think we’ve all been played.

Fame said on September 15, 2013 at 1:53 PM

      “I think we’ve been played.”

Being in her fifth season, Teresa has to know the game by now. I’m starting to believe her role is both the “underdog and the villain.” It keeps her fans riled up and the blog chatter going. But Bravo failed to see that viewers would become “desensitized from overused, dragged-out stories” (thanks for this insight, Kayswhims!) The ratings are down for this season. Teresa’s last cookbook wasn’t a best seller, nor was Caroline’s book, and most likely not Melissa’s. The scenes look fake this season, and you can tell they’re staged and the cast is acting – I’m sure scenes were reshot for better “takes.” Joe’s roid rages are over the top – he must be hoping for a “table flipping” moment that will make him infamous like his sister.

      Season | Year | # Episodes | Avg Aud | Ages 18-49
      1 2009 10 2,617,000 1.43
      2 2010 18 2,718,556 1.38
      3 2011 21 2,662,905 1.26
      4 2012 24 2,665,250 1.28
      5 2013 15 2,396,333 1.09

“If Teresa breaks contract, it’s not like she can just go somewhere else.”

Fame replied on 2013/09/15 at 12:57 PM

If I were her, I would leave TV, sell the mansion and the other luxuries, get a regular job, and live a peaceful, simple life instead of one focused on material things. In the long run, I believe it would be better for her, her children, her parents, and her marriage (plus, it certainly would make her look better in court when she goes up against the money fraud charges, and it could reduce fines and any prison sentences for Joe or herself). I wouldn’t stay on RHONJ just to prove a point – that Melissa and Kathy can’t run her off.

Bravo can edit it any way they want. They chop up every episode and add THs, voiceovers, frankenbites to tell the story they want to convey. Bravo has them all sign waivers/consents/contracts to absolve the network of any liability.

The players can deliver only what producers allow them to deliver. Penny gave them Jan and that phone call to Mike where he talks about the hookup at Sushi Lounge (Bryan was asked to appear on camera but refused – he was warned that producers would edit him to discredit him and he listened to that advice) – who knows what else she brought but Bravo left on the editing room floor. Bravo didn’t air that phone call so that tells me they really don’t want to reveal the truth about the cheating rumors or anything else that will be too damaging to the Gorgas. And even if they aired the call, they probably would edit it so that it wouldn’t be anything remotely similar to what was really sad. The storyline all season has never been that Melissa is a cheater – it’s always been about whether Teresa is spreading rumors that she’s a cheater. Is Bravo making Teresa the villain or the underdog?

      gsmoot1 said:

The thing is, everybody loves the underdog: the more they trash Teresa, the more people love and sympathize with her. Her followers on twitter have passed 800,000 and people have taken to defending her because they see her being bullied by family, media, everyone – even her children are being bullied on twitter. They have not figured out that the more they pick at her, the more famous they make her … or have they, is that the plan?

      kayswhims replied:

I do think that is the plan. People love rooting for the underdog, but it can be overused. It is like anything that becomes popular now (if something hits the news, every media source and channel drops everything and airs something about it for weeks; if a movie becomes a hit, people make sequels or develop other movies with the same story). People become desensitized from overused, dragged-out stories. It does not make sense to have people come forward and say, “I did it,” and the cast still go after Teresa. That is nonsense. They are family and long time friends, which makes it look even more ridiculous. Watching Teresa with her family made it tolerable, but no one can stand to watch the garbage at all anymore.

      gsmoot1 replied:

Agree 100% they have over played it because people are being hurt outside of the family and the fans are taking it personal – it’s like being lied to by a friend over and over again.

Fame said on 2013/09/14 at 3:30 PM

Everyone on reality TV is a fame whore, IMO. It’s just that the Gorgas and Wakiles take it to a whole new level of famewhoring – going against family. Penny got a spot on the show in the same way Joe and Melissa did, by promising to bring the dirt on some of the cast members – but the Gorgas set out to take down a family member, and Penny did not, an important distinction.

The Wakiles and Gorgas, as well as the Lauritas and Manzos, backed by producers, all conspired to manipulate the Greeks into implicating Teresa in the cheating scandal. They all, not just Teresa, had Penny’s phone number, and she theirs, which is why she tweeted on April 26th: “My phone is worth GOLD. Lets see what and how they deny solid proof. Gag order will be lifted June 2. No one can stop what I have in store. I never bluff.”

What happened to the Greeks, happens to most everyone in reality TV: “Producers get cast members to turn on each other based on off-camera misinformation, manipulation, and a false economy where trash talk is a participant’s only way.”

“Keep this in mind: Before going anywhere, Beevis & Butthead came to my place to discuss how & what to say. I got suckered. #OneSideScript” – John Karagiorgis ‏@JohnnyTheGrk, September 18, 2013, Twitter

corky21 commented on 2013/09/13 at 3:18 PM at Fame-Whorgas about how scenes are staged and re-shot:

As for the fight coming up, I believe the tensions were real and what transpired was too. However, surrounding the real issues that these people have is Bravo/production company telling them what to say, when to say it, who to contact, etc.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, my brother watched NY being filmed at his business. He said the women were arguing, and they cut and started several times with the argument. He said producers were talking with the wives separately, and then they would start shooting again.

I think it’s time to stop watching Bravo shows. Especially this one.

The raw footage would be so much more interesting!

“Reality TV promotes the worst values and qualities in people–and disguises them all as entertainment. Reality TV has made the Seven Deadly Sins–pride, avarice, envy, wrath, lust, gluttony, and sloth-attributes to be admired. Throw in selfishness, deceit, spite, and vengeance–all qualities seen routinely on reality TV–and you have the personification of the worst kind of person on Earth. Reality TV makes heroic decidedly unheroic values, characters, and behavior.”

“Understanding the narcissism epidemic is important because its long-term consequences are destructive to society. American culture’s focus on self-admiration has caused a flight from reality to the land of grandiose fantasy. We have phony rich people (with interest-only mortgages and piles of debt), phony beauty (with plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures), phony athletes (with performance-enhancing drugs), phony celebrities (via reality TV and YouTube), phony genius students (with grade inflation), a phony national economy (with $11 trillion of government debt), phony feelings of being special among children (with parenting and education focused on self-esteem), and phony friends (with the social networking explosion). All this fantasy might feel good, but, unfortunately, reality always wins. The mortgage meltdown and the resulting financial crisis are just one demonstration of how inflated desires eventually crash to earth.”

As you know, I’ve been without Bravo, while my husband has been on Furlough..He is off of it now, but we still have NOT signed back up with ATT-Uverse..I refuse to pay all that $$ for some BS, staged, mind-numbing nimrod, trying to make me believe these are *real housewives*.. Through you and Jennie, I have been able to assertain, that its all BS… everybit of it…. when you cant watch it… The bloggers and friends on here, have made it possible for me to *stay in touch* with the show….

I must confess, the last thing I read about the NJ housewives, on here was weeks ago… I go directly to my friends on here, comments, as that is TRULY what is more important to me… I;ve gone through Sackem, being pregnant, and having a baby, through poor Jennie, and her mum, and all the other life changing things that have happened to us, “REAL HOUSEWIVES” I come here for support, and friendship… And for that, I thank you FAME for allowing me to branch out, and bring others into my life… the show is nothing to me now…. but you all, mean the world to me….

Defenders of Giudices on Facebook are Blocked from posting. Seems any Hater can have a Liker kicked off for days or weeks at a time and FB administrators do not respond to WHY. It’s a bunch of slanted BS.

I understand your lack of interest completely. Your articles were always great, but it has been several months that I posted anything I really felt passionate about concerning the housewives of New Jersey. Through circumstances I missed several episodes, tried to watch one a few weeks later and turned it off after six minutes. This served as my cleansing and I have been RHONJ free for 11 days now.

I am just so relieved to hear your blog was not under some type of restraining order. After the happenings in New Orleans recently, I really thought they (authorities/attorneys) were going through the comments and who was behind them.

You have built a wonderful community and I believe you know we would do anything to keep your/our community together.

As I stated months ago, you could blog about anything and we would all be here to comment.

For you Fame we’ve all been Hoodwinked

Penelope PitStop: Fictitious HW of Garden State

September 19, 2013: Hi, it’s me again, Penelope PitStop, remember? Thanks for all the nice things you said about my very first blog about the Fictitious Housewives of the Garden State (FHOGS). After I wrote my first blog, this happened:

        pitstop blog 2

The Evil Lawyer Claw wanted to know how I got out of his basement. When I told him my lips were sealed, this happened:

No worries! No worries. I escaped. Rufus Ruffcut and Sawtooth forgot that I am a master at escapes.

penelope pitstop blog 2Taaa Daaa. Ok, so let me tell you what I came here to tell you. Remember when I told you about Dum Dum and Yak Yak? Ok, well Dum Dum didn’t get anywhere with me at Cheetos cause I wasn’t going to lie for him and Yak Yak or for anyone else. And those people that make the FHOGS were mad cause I wasn’t saying what they wanted at Cheetos with them standing around staring at me and wanting me to say stuff that wasn’t true. So what does Dum Dum do? Few days later, Dum Dum and his cousin in law Dastardly show up at my lovie’s business by themselves. They must have ditched the people with all the recording equipment.

DastardlyDumDumDum Dum was afraid to come inside, cause he’s not only a dum dum but he’s also a big ole coward (and what’s with the spray on hair?) So Dastardly walks in and asks my lovie if it’s ok if Dum Dum and he talk. So my lovie says about what? Dastardly says about Dum Dum’s sister. So my lovie says tell him to come in. Dastardly says how about we talk outside. So my lovie and Dastardly go outside to talk.

Well guess what? Dum Dum is nice as could be (like he was with me at Cheetos). Tells my lovie that I could be on the FHOGS if I agree to say that Dum Dum’s sister put me up to ruin Yak Yak.

Now I don’t have to tell you that no one has to ruin Yak Yak, cause everybody knows what she’s all about. Before my lovie could tell them stop being stupid, Dastardly chimes in and says, it’s all planned out that everybody is going to blame Dum Dum’s sister, cause that’s the way the FHOGS people want it and if my lovie gets me to play along, Dastardly promised that I can film next season with Yak Yak and Snoozy.

I still can’t figure out if filming with Yak Yak and Snoozy was supposed to be a reward or a threat. Yuck! I’d rather be thrown off the cliff and into the river again by the Evil Lawyer Claw!

So my lovie told Dum Dum and Dastardly that Dum Dum’s sister was not behind any rumors.

Dum Dum then wants to know how my lovie found out that Yak Yak didn’t go see his father in the hospital. Maybe Dum Dum should be more worried about the bad stuff that Yak Yak does instead of how people found out that she did it!

Dastardly then repeated stuff about my family that Yak Yak had mentioned to me when we were at Cheetos and it wasn’t nice. Dastardly and Dum Dum kept insisting that Dum Dum’s sister told them stuff about my family. So my lovie told them it’s best that Dum Dum wake up cause Yak Yak was causing problems. That ended the secret meeting. Then lovie offered them something to eat to be cordial, and would you believe Dastardly and Dum Dum said yes, and went inside to eat. But of course, you’ll believe it cause it was free and we all know Dastardly will take anything if it’s free. They even ordered stuff to take home! And Dastardly told my lovie that we were friends and they could shake on it! Would you believe someone named Dastardly? Exactly!

Few days later, Dum Dum and Yak Yak with Dastardly and Snoozy went on a trip with other people from FHOGS. I doubt they told anyone about the meeting with me at Cheetos or the secret meeting with my lovie.

While they were on their trip, I got plenty of phone calls. Isn’t it funny that while they are pretending to be a big ole family, they’re calling me and my lovie! Well! Let me say one more thing cause . . . .

OH NOOOOO! Rufus Ruffcut found me . . . .

penelope-pitstop_thumb aviSeptember 17, 2013: Hi, my name is Penelope PitStop and I will be writing a blog each week about my Friends and Frenemies on a show called the Fictitious Housewives of the Garden State (FHOGS). This is purely fictitious and any similarities to actual persons are purely coincidental.

        So here goes:

So there’s this show and it’s sort of like the Truman Show where people pretend it’s real life but it’s all staged by the Producers. The people who work on the show promise you stuff but no one delivers. They film a whole bunch of hours, then they cut and paste all the words together to make it say what they want it to say even if it’s the opposite of what really happened. When you try to tell the truth and defend yourself, a mean nasty lawyer ties you up like this:

But I escaped from the Evil Lawyer Claw, so here’s my story of what happened on FHOGS.

I went to meet the Evil Whorgas (Yak Yak and her husband Dum Dum) at a Restaurant called Cheetos because I was told I had to go film for FHOGS – so I went. We filmed for over three hours. The Whorgas knew I was joining them. They were both very nice to me because they know exactly who I am, that I don’t take lip from anyone, I know my facts and no one pulls my strings.

We talked about tons of things:

        Stripper Gate
        The Celebrity Dapprentice
        Definition of Friends / Stalkers
        Zippy D
        Fathers and Hospital visits
        Whorga lies

Imagine my surprise when FHOGS aired and I was looking at the opposite of what actually happened! Imagine my frustration when the Evil Claw tried to tie me up in his basement so I could not tell you what actually happened. Here are the highlights of my meeting at Cheetos:

The Whorgas asked me who invited me to Dum Dum’s sister’s party: I replied your sister did.
Yak Yak declared that I never assisted in raising money for The Celebrity Dapprentice: I replied that’s a lie.
The Whorgas told me that I was stalking FHOGS events: I replied that I have always been invited or mandated to attend.
Yak Yak asked what my relationship was with Dum Dum’s sister: I replied exactly the way I had at the prior FHOGS events.
Yak Yak made the mistake of asking me about Stripper Gate: I replied as long as Dum Dum doesn’t get crazy if I answer the question, of course you were a Dancer & there’s nothing wrong with it, I know it, you know it, your customers knew it and Dum Dum knows it.
Dum Dum asked me how I knew Yak Yak: Before I could reply Yak Yak responded that it wasn’t important!
Yak Yak said that Cafe Nero & Yak Yak’s Dance club were not owned/managed by my relatives: I replied you’re lying.
Dum Dum asked if I was involved with getting Dum Dum’s sister the book signing at Cafe Nero: I replied that there were text messages confirming it.
The Whorgas rejected that I had Dum Dum’s sister’s telephone numbers: I replied do you want me to show you and I showed them my phone, proof and said am I lying.
Yak Yak asked me about rumors concerning Clyde and cheating scandals: I replied it wasn’t me and I’m not taking the bullet for everything.
Dum Dum asked me about his sister’s relationship with Zippy D: I replied I have no idea.
Dum Dum told me that someone told my husband that Yak Yak didn’t go see his father in the hospital: I replied go talk to my husband because I have no idea.
The Whorgas wanted to know how Yak Yak’s lover’s name came up during a party: I replied ______ asked if I knew him [____ is not Dum Dum’s sister].
Yak Yak asked whether Dum Dum’s sister was spreading rumors: I replied your sister in law told me to squash them <— you can hear me say this.
When Yak Yak asked if Zippy D was involved in spreading rumors: I replied that’s why Dum Dum’s sister wanted me to confront Dum Dum about who was really spreading the rumors.
The Whorgas repeatedly wanted me to say that Dum Dum’s sister was pulling my strings: I replied no one pulls my strings and I was asked to confront Dum Dum to confirm the fact that no one pulls my strings.
Yak Yak threw some low blows claiming that Dum Dum’s sister made negative comments about my extended family: I replied that I would have to talk to Dum Dum’s sister about that because it looked to me like Yak Yak was baiting me.

If you watch FHOGS closely, you will see that at the most strategic times, voices are dubbed and you never see Dum Dum, Yak Yak or me actually saying the words that are heard. Clearly the editing was done by Snoozy of the Ant Hill Mob.

Goes to show it is all scripted and it’s ok until someone doesn’t get what they want or get’s stabbed in the back. Yes the lawyers are all on her .

I think Teresa may have been the only one who thought they were on a reality show now there are to many stories out there for her to still believe that. I think her eyes are now open.

I forgot to include this comment from cass – I saved it in a draft of a blog I was working on (now never to be completed).

cass said on 2013/09/16 at 7:36 PM

Did anyone ever think that actually Teresa is the victim and Bravo plays it like this to increase her product sales and popularity. Two years in a row she has been voted most popular housewife and her products sell better than any other HW. I mean, Bravo and Sirens would have to be a pretty lame excuse for a business by letting all this info leak out to the public thus destroying their credibility. I think it has actually been more profitable for them to play it this way. They don’t care about the Gorgas or the Manzos – they are chump change. Teresa is where the money is, and they portray her in a way that she has commanded a strong fan base that will support her through anything even fraud. I love Teresa so I am not saying anything negative here, but all of this is just starting to be a little to contrived for me. I mean even Teresa would pull the plug, which she hasn’t, if this was all true. I think she would think about her family before money, and if this was being detrimental to her family she would be out. She is able to walk away at the end of a filming day and put it behind her. Even after the last reunion there were shots of her and Juicy in a hot tub taking it easy – after that horrible reunion she looked content and happy. I think Teresa knows full well what all this is about and she does her job and goes home…..end of story.

I just remembered something! When Teresa “was ambushed” on the deck I was so upset that I started commenting on the Bravo blog. I was going back and forth with someone on there. I received a reply from another person who told me she had worked in the reality industry. She told me not to be so upset because being the victim works for Teresa. She basically told me it helps her or she wouldn’t be doing it. I remember thinking that there could be truth to that but then I thought who would want to be beat up like that week after week. Fame…I think I should have listened to this person. After reading your above comments I now have some serious doubts. I think I’m giving up reality. I have The Waltons on dvd. I have been reading all the comments. I feel so bad for everyone who lost touch with each other. Scrolling down and reading I am so touched. It’s like a reunion.

I made a comment a long time ago that at the end of Jersey wouldn’t it be funny if the cast all took a bow and revealed the show was scripted. Long ago I stopped letting the show upset me, it was easy to catchup occasionally with the blogs but no more felt the need to watch every episode. I agree that at this point all the characters know their roles and are in on the storylines. What I never could understand was Carolines anger, seemed so over the top. Thanks for all the great blogs and comments over the years!

          • September 21, 2013 at 12:53 PM

Thanks for sharing this, bug! It’s good advice not to let this show upset us. I believe the person in the reality industry who told you “not to be so upset because being the victim works for Teresa.” However, I think she is portrayed not so much as the victim but as both the villain and underdog – see my comment upthread.

I went back through the Bravo blogs to see the conversation I had with that commenter. IT NO LONGER EXIST!!! POOF! All my comments are gone. I had left a comment to the fact I was dismayed that Jacqueline was mad at Teresa for talking to Danielle but not at Melissa for contacting Danielle. I believe you had quoted my comment in one of your blog posts. They have cleaned up all the blogs. OMG they will do anything to shut people up. Was Teresa ever the underdog? You don’t have to answer. I do know that I believe we, the viewers are definitely victims. Does Teresa need the money for her case or is she a fame whore too? Why do I care. sigh! Thanks Fame for taking time out of your day to comment on my post. I invested time in Teresa and her family. I am an underdog in my family. I thought she was too

Fame I’m glad you’re back!! However I’m very disappointed that you will no longer be blogging the TRUTH!!!!!! You are the one who hasn’t been afraid to break things down and call out the BS and the LIES!!!! Seriously I come here to find out what’s going on with RHoNJ and how everything is so twisted by Bravo, I’ve been a reader since day one and absolutely am upset that this is happening. While I respect your decision, I can’t help but think that you are being bullied, strong armed, pressured, or threatened to do this. If that’s the case, please don’t let them win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • September 20, 2013 at 1:46 PM

Ps…. I was just thumbing thru and I now realize that you took down MOST of your blogs…. Like 90% of them…. Like the really good ones that explain everything about MeHo, Bryan, Penny, etc etc etc. I know you probably aren’t allowed to say what happened or what’s going on…. But know this: I have greatly enjoyed your blogs and all of the information that you have provided all this time. It just stinks that it has had to come to this. You are a terrific researcher and I hope this all blows over so that you can continue to enlighten us. I know that you mentioned that there are numerous HW blogs out there for us to read, but they are different. Yours have always gone above and beyond in research and I appreciate that about you.

  23. September 20, 2013 at 1:16 PM

I too, have miss this website the short time it was down. I hate to hear your decision, but respect it. There isn’t another blog that is completely reliable, as yours was. I hope you weren’t forced into this decision, and you made the choice on your own. Thank you for all the time you have put into this. It has been very much enjoyed…

Thank god for this. FW, I would totally enjoy your well-researched take on any other subject that fascinates you. Ditching the HWs as topics of rumination doesn’t bother me, and I very much look forward to the topics you will be exploring.

I agree wholeheartedly with your post above (1:09 pm). I have turned off these fake “reality” dramas for quite a while. If it were “real,” and Teresa keeps coming back as she has, then she puts fame and $$ above the emotional welfare and stability of her own family with Joe.

And — Wine not, seriously, your petition will be laughed at,and ignored. Nobody is going to give her her own show after this federal fiasco she and her husband are in. It’s not like they didn’t pay a bunch of municipal parking tickets, they’ll likely be serving prison time. If it weren’t for the 39 count indictment, she would certainly be in serious running for another show, no doubt. But don’t stick your head in the sand thinking she’ll be “all clear” and will be embraced by other networks after this. This is reality and it isn’t that pretty.

Thank-you for this blog. It is very entertaining and I did get attached to it. Really, this is my favorite pitstop when I’m surfing the web. What Teresa went through last year (after the reunion) with her SIL paralleled my life at that time. So, I see your site as, somewhat, theraupitc to me. I can understand why you feel the need to no longer blog about the HW. Once again, thank-you for putting your heart into your blogs! I will miss your blogs but you do what you have to do to stay happy and healthy!

(I have to mention this blogger Fame.) Thank you DD for having the determination and courage to create the “Fame ily” blog. It took many of us two days to find it and gave us a place to gather last night.

“Hello everyone it’s DD. I am pissed that Fame’s site is down. I can’t even see what I have commented on. Everything is gone. Jeannie anyone please comment”

The above was her blog entry and in no time 61 comments were made, more than many established bloggers ever receive on their entry. All of us were happy to have a place to gather, each looking for ways to contact other posters and all of us worried about Fame.

I think we should all take a page from Fame and walk away from this show. Stop watching, stop commenting, move on….Bravo loves that we all still feel so strongly about their show, keeps us watching. I love Teresa and her kids but she keeps going along with the gravy train, tired of it, she knows production manipulates the show and she has to act all offended but we don’t all have to keep going along with it. I’m just speaking for myself.
Thank you Fame for all the information you have provided over the seasons, you are obviously one smart cookie, you know when to say the hell with it and move on, good for you!

First of all – thank you for exposing the hypocrisy and manipulation that is RHONJ. Your credibility is unquestioned and without you, our thoughts about RHONJ might be entirely different. Long before my first post, I was a regular lurker.

Second – While I am disappointed that you have decided not to blog, I understand it, because I feel the same way – “over it”. I no longer watch RHONJ – this was how I kept up. But if I’m over it, I can understand why you are as well and I respect your decision.

Again, I appreciate all you have done – your blogs were, as I said, credible, and also well thought out and well written. Your voice will be missed.

Fame I’m seriously crying right now. This blog has meant so much to me. This was the first place ever that I felt comfortable and welcomed. I owe you a big “thank you” for making this last year one of the best in my life. I got up each morning and the first thing that popped into my head was, I can’t wait to go read Fame. It really gave me something to look forward to in a time in my life that has been very difficult. Thanks again for all of your hard work.

Gloria, Fame can tell you I have been here since the beginning. This is the most wonderful site because the commenters have such respect for each other. This site can continue in a more positive manner. I suggested recipe corner, book reviews. If we all put our heads together this will continue to be the best go to site, with a more positive subject matter. I love Honey Boo Boo, and Duck Dynasty, also BB, and Dancing with the Stars, there are alot more positive reality shows out there than RHONJ

      • September 20, 2013 at 2:31 PM

neighborhood, I’m open to all suggestions on how we continue this site. I also love DD, Honey Boo Boo and Golden sisters. Whatever we talk about is okay with me, as long as we continue the “family” environment that has made this site so welcoming.

I don’t comment very often but I have been following this blog from pretty much the start and read it on an almost daily basis. Both the blog itself and all of the comments are very insightful and really show the other side (the truth) to this whole mess. I will miss your updates! Thank you again for all of your hard work 🙂

This is the only way that the truth gets out, but it may be a good thing because bad publicity to the whorgas is good publicity to them and andy ho-en. I just can’t believe that he gave Caroline her own show. Well yes i can

Totally respect your decision and have appreciated the time/energy and hard work that went into this blog Famey – just not sold on the explanation. (And that’s cool too – it’s your blog & life – explain it any way you want, lol!) I’m taking into account what I think was the first blow (?) against bloggers when ShebySheBroke frivolously took TamaraTattles to court..then the Stoopid Housewives thing…and most reality the weird hijinks with Penny’s blog @ Faux, I’d ask myself, would I go to any expense for free speech over some stupid azz reality show? The answer is resoundingly NO. And the answer would be NO, even before the federal indictments. If it’s just general malaise with this circular and seemingly never-ending topic, why not just say that from the get-go and why remove any of the blog? Again, none of my biz and just my opinion/comment.

The Gorgas, Wakiles and Manzos have been thoroughly exposed. Teresa Giudice, who signed up with the rest of them, has reaped what she sowed as well. I enjoy(ed) the information that played hell with the BRAVO scripted “reality” formula and inside info immensely.

    Job well done ((((FAME))))

I feel you Fame. When Teresa tweeted congratulations on their book ,to TSIL and TB, and to Caroline on her new spin off show, I felt betrayed. I supported Teresa by buying her grilling cookbook and Aragon hair oil. I defended her in comment sections of articles, where she was being dogged out.Now I kinda feel like the feuding is fake and planned out by her and TB and TSIL.How can Teresa support and work for people that trashed her for 3 seasons and tried to destroy her brand.I sometimes don’t care what happens to her at her trial next year. It’s hard for me to continue to be team Teresa.I just don’t understand her being friends with Jacko, who said some of the lowest things you can say to a friend in tweets and on national television.Maybe Teresa and Jacko where fake feuding also.

      September 20, 2013 at 3:51 PM

Betrayed, hoodwinked, and used is what I felt. When I saw Teresa congratulate Caroline Manzo for her spin off, it did not matter anymore if she was doing it all to be a good employee. I am done fighting for an illusion. I kept checking this site hoping it would come back to me, I felt adopted, and so many good things were happening to my soul here.

Through genealogy research, I learned a few things and I should have held on to it and trusted that nagging feeling instead of letting my emotions lead my reaction. My grandpa died when my mother was seven. I have learned so much about my grandpa and his grandpa. They helped people around them that they could see with their own eyes was in need of help. They were farmers who had plenty of food. Many people do not ask for help but you can find a way to help them. Money is not everything.

If you have no money or food or time to give, do not underestimate the power of a smile. Just like butterflies can change the weather pattern, a smile can encourage and lift up a weary heart

Fame, thank you so much for blogging about RHONJ and the FameWhorgas that are Messy and Josephine. I haven’t commented for a while here as I have had a hard time personally and didn’t want to take it out on the Whorgas. LOL I really missed the blog while it was down and was worried there had been some legal implications etc, I am glad, however that that is not the case. I love our little Fame-ily here and would miss the posters as much as the blogs and I am genuinely grateful you have left us a place to hang out and share with each other. I wish you all the best in your endeavours and if things pick up with RHONJ maybe we’ll see you back. I do hope you join us in our discussions, what ever they may be. I think you made the right choice, it’s just insanity now and Tre must be in on it as you say. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in bringing us the truth. Much love, Tboz17586 (Lynsey) x

I’m really surprised that you took this action. For all the hard work you put in to create this blog…it just doesn’t make sense. I would have thought that you would have kept at it until Season 5 ended. To me…and my opinion…something has happened. I remember you writing that there was a lot of stories to write about in so many words. I can understand if you thought we were being played for fools…did you receive some recent info that made you realize that? I would have to believe that you would have informed us before you shut it down and took off many of your blogs. I just want to thank you for all your effort…it was appreciated!!!!

I appreciate all your hard work. If it were not for this blog I would not have known the many facets of the stories that swirled around RHNJ.
I hate the fact that the assclowns at another site are posting their delirious happiness that you will not be posting any more stories on the Whorgas, and that your stories were never true and had no back up.
I dearly hope that Bravo cancels this NJ mess and that we never have to hear from TSIL (who will never go beyond being in the shadow of her sister in law, Teresa) her pimple of a husband Rhoid Rage, the Wakiles (specially that hemorrhoid Rich), the tiring Manzoids and last and least, Jac Daniels, the sliced up, tucked up, plastic head with the saddest Twitter addiction of any human being on this planet.

    Fame –
I am deeply saddened to see you are no longer blogging. I read this site as often as CNN, I found myself in a panic when you made the blog private.
I urge you to reconsider blogging – famewhorgas should be dedicated to exposing Melissa and Joe, be it the affairs or scheming on the show, etc. I feel the evidence and stories continue to come out – and as they do I want them chronicled on this blog. If you do continue to not blog, I urge you to let someone follow in your footsteps and keep the blog alive. I know I would be willing to.

  52. September 20, 2013 at 2:45 PM

I am so sorry to see this blog coming to a close. It has made me see things much clearer over the past few months. It breaks my heart that others out there, that were just recently starting to feel confused about RHONJ, aren’t going to be able to discover the truth from this blog like I did. My mother is the one who turned me on to RHONJ back in season 1. I have never been a fan of the other RH’s; but I immediately liked Teresa so I kept watching. As time went on and the cast of characters changed, it became clear to me during the 1st episode of season 3 that Teresa was being “taken down”. I could see right through Melissa and it made me sad that other people could not see through it. Over this past summer, while having lunch with my mother, RHONJ came up. My mother who was once a huge Teresa fan was defending Melissa, saying she felt really bad about the horrible rumors Teresa was spreading about her. I literally almost choked on my food becuase I could not believe what she was saying. To me it was obvious that Melissa was manipulative and trying like hell to ruin Teresa. Later that night, while parusing the internet, I decided to see if I was alone in thinking Melissa was the real sociopath of the bunch. That was the glorious day I stumbled upon this blog! It made me feel like I had finally found the holy grail of answers. Of course I stayed awake that night reading every blog that I possibly could. I loved seeing the time lines and facts laid out with such accuracy and honesty. It was consice, detailed, and cyrstal clear. Obviously I had to share it with my mom, to make her see the light. Two days later my mom called me and she was in shock, she couldn’t believe she had it all wrong before and suddenly she knew the truth. I know there are other people out there wondering the same thing I was, and without this blog they may never understand how right they really are. My only hope is that maybe after the reunion you will write one last earth shattering blog. One blog to rule them all!

With that said, thank you! Thank you!

I completely agree with you girl.. Poor FAME has NO idea how many nights I stayed awake reading her bloggs, from 2012 and so on… I use to curse the morning, when I woke up, with my computer still on my chest, with barely 1 hour of sleep, cause FAME kept me up…

I did though recently see, through Fames responses, her sad feelings, as if defeated… it broke my heart, I was praying to God that she would not close this sight…. but here we are today… I
could not wait to go to bed to read Famewhorgas…. Just know this FAME.. while I did lose alot of sleep reading your blogs, I will never hold it against you… Is there anychance that you will return all the blogs you wrote for poor insomniacs like myself? please?

FAME I have missed you so much! I have been sluming around on other blogs (where I could post with my dumb phone lol) and treated like shit because I would only bash the Manzoids/Lauriturds/Gorscum/Wakolis squad and got banned from them for calling them out. A little dragon just burned me to a crisp. I also came to a realization that Teresa is not who I thought she was, I know her contract is up soon and I think she is going to hold on to that morsel like a lab animal until she loses everything when all she has to do is let it go and free herself from the cage, shoot even foxes chew off there own paws to be free of the trap. I am so glad that you are back and if I never here of the RHONJ again I think I will be okay. What ever you chose to talk about on your blog I’m here. Kinda want to get into DD and Honey Boo Boo too, my Mom loves them both. I was sort of obessesed with the mistreatment I saw on that other show. Have you watched Modern Dads? I like it because of the role reversal. The guys seem to take pride in there job as househusband and stay at home dad. So far, it hasn’t become the cheesy, bumbling dads, shoving their kids aside in search of their own fame. They all live modestly, they pick and poke at each other but all in fun, and they show the mans perspective in a predominately woman’s role. This show is my new HW’s and it’s on just after DD.

Glad you came back Fame, sorry you won’t be blogging about the housewives anymore,
I do respect your reasons for doing so. I would just like to say I one more thing before I shut down on this reality show madness.
I believe that bravo/andy initially sought to replace Theresa with her sil, and were hoping that painting her in a bad light with the set-ups and frankenbyting will turn the tide of public opinion against her. But they underestimated the wave of support by fans partly due to bloggers like Fame, who allowed us a peak inside what goes on behind closed doors at BS, who gave us an insight we would otherwise not have had.
Without you Theresa and her husband may have ended up the most vilified and despised duo on reality TV going by the intended storyline.
Whether Theresa realizes or not you saved her bacon ,
You started a revolution (in my opinion), now many people know not to believe everything that is being fed to them as fact or entertainment on so called reality TV.
Bravo never expected to be called out on their shady dealings and shoddy editing and they are being called out quite loudly..
A majority of the readers comments on T’s sil friendly mags and sites tend to be not so friendly anymore.

Thank you Fame and the “Fame-ily” for this great community.

Totally support your decision Fame! I stopped watching RHONJ, then all RH shows, then Bravo entirely due to their fake drama. I couldn’t justify watching people be rude, mean and catty with each other when I would never allow that kind of behavior in my own life. I kept up on what was happening by reading the blogs, but I often wondered how you could keep watching and writing about them.I also wondered if I wasn’t helping keep Bravo afloat by reading about their “product”, and that is the last thing I wanted to do. However, I have met MANY lovely people online because of these blogs, and yours is no exception. Hopefully you will continue to blog about things that interest you and we can all still be a community.
LOVE you Fame and am so glad to see you are alive and well. Thank you for all your very hard work blogging through all of the crap. I will look forward to chatting with you and all your wonderful followers here about any other thing you decide to blog about.

    Thank you

    • September 20, 2013 at 2:57 PM

And as for legal issues.. By the time she finds a deal and a way out of her contract ..in February her future will be clear. Even if she does go to jail it won’t be for long and people will want to give her deals from everywhere once she’s out

Exactly what happened with Martha Stewart. When she went to jail, all the talk was about how her empire would suffer. She served her time, came out with her head held high and her empire has not suffered one iota.

        September 20, 2013 at 3:07 PM

Honestly, the very first thing I would recommend her to do is totally abandon/ditch the whole RHONJ thing. I think they’re supposed to start taping again very soon; I would pray and hope she and J can get out of that. We all know the reason Sirens and Bravo want to rush into taping is to gleefully capture the stress T and J will be increasingly enduring, so they can capitalize on their travails, and that’s just pure evil!

After her trial, depending upon what occurs, it’s a wait and see. I honestly don’t see too many companies wanting to hook their brands up with her, despite how charismatic she is. I find Teresa to be, hand down, the most watchable one on that entire show.

        • September 20, 2013 at 3:16 PM

I agree and I feel like this season she left off on a good note (well as much as possible with this stupid show) so she should just leave

          • NCGal
            September 20, 2013 at 6:11 PM

I agree…the big question is CAN she leave?

        • September 20, 2013 at 4:08 PM

Teresa and her family are the most watchable. The others are not likeable. Jacqueline and Caroline at one point were, but no longer. The entire Manzo family is no longer likeable and not interesting enough for a spinoff. But Bravo has greenlighted worst projects – they’ll throw anything against the wall to see what sticks. I just don’t see a Manzo spinoff bringing in good ratings, but it’ll be cheap to produce so it’ll make some money for the network, which must be good enough for Bravo.

            So true Fame!!

            • September 21, 2013 at 11:45 AM

And enough of these fake weddings. I won’t watch some middle-aged ex-stripper waste millions on a made for t.v. wedding. And I certainly won’t be watching the Manzaloids pop their zits and tighten their lapbands. In fact, I don’t watch anything on Bravo anymore. I know that Fame has known that all this stuff is manufactured fake drama for a very long time. I think she grows weary of pointing out the obvious. It is a lot of work. It is kind of hard to feel sympathy for someone who has sold their soul to the devil for $300,000./yr. I know for a fact that the word was out that rhobh was social poison and anybody that joined it would be ostracized. Which is how they came up with Miss Puerto Rico and the idiot witch.
Won’t be watching that fashizzle either. Now Adrienne’s ex-husband is going to be doinfg a reality show about plastic surgery gone bad that he fixes. And you should see his face lift.
Physician, heal thyself. Also, this Lynne person on RHOC was brought on specifically to lie about Vicky with Vicky’s consent. I know that to be true also. I do believe that Teresa volunteers to be shit on for a bonus fee, which I do not know for a fact, but surmise. And that is a shitty thing to do to her kids. I agree with fame. I would quit, live in a modest 3 bedroom one bath, and never look back. Any normal person would. Why is she still cooperating with the show? That is the question.

But I love top chef and Jeff Lewis. I can’t quit it just yet. I have thought since last year that Teresa is letting them do this to her tho. It goes deep.

With the exception of RHONJ, I have been Bravo free for almost a year. Since I stopped watching he RHONJ 12 days ago, I have been completely Bravo free, with NBC included.

My husband announced several weeks back, that we will be watching Top Chef, a show I once loved, because it was filmed in New Orleans.

I suffered through some of Manzo’s podcasts on Jay Mohr, to see if I was missing something endearing. It was listening to paint dry, with Lauren being an unbelievable spoiled, ignorant–I really don’t knownhownshenhas a HS diploma–and rude to her mother and anyone else. If that’s their show with Christopher, wow. Won’t last.

Fame, you could always pass your old articles and research into Faux Reality (with her giving you credit to them if you wish) and let faux decide how to proceed with it since it seems he or she is getting into the research of the show

    • September 20, 2013 at 3:41 PM

Fame needs to save all of her articles for her book. When all is said and done, one day all “reality” television will be gone and more than likely Bravo will be gone too. That is when Fame comes out with her book “Exposing the Reality of Reality Television-RHONJ Style”.

  59. September 20, 2013 at 3:14 PM

Thank you Fame for all the work you have done to help expose RHNJ for what it really is – an altered reality that has become so repugnant in the blatant manipulation of real life families that make us feel disgusted instead of entertained. Many viewers, bloggers and posters are also at this same point – this is their last season to watch RHNJ and likely the other franchises.

We have vented, we have agreed to disagree and we have entertained ourselves because of the platform and topics you provided! You are very skilled in both your research and presentation and I will miss your take on the train wreck Bravo has made of the RHNJ. Thanks again, you rock!

Hi Fame. I have never posted before but I have been an avid reader of your site. I just wanted to let you know that I have really enjoyed reading your blog. It has been informative and fun to read. I hope no outside sources have influenced your decision to quit blogging. It’s interesting, I stopped watching the RHONJ show a long time ago but have kept up through the blogs. It’s been my interest in the blogs that has compelled me to watch the housewives on talk shows or read about them in magazines. I normally do not watch the RHONJ show but tune in afterwards to see Andy Cohen’s show. Blogs like yours have convinced me to buy cookbooks or try hair products. Ironically, if blogs like yours go away, so does my interest in housewife products or other Bravo tv shows. I hope Bravo attorneys are not behind your decision to quit blogging. If so, it’s a poor business decision on BRAVO’s part. Thanks for having such a great blog. I will miss it very much.

“Fame-ily” Please do not come down so hard on Teresa, she needs all the money she can get, her legal bills will go into the millions. Hi- I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate your blog and so do my friends… You speak the truth and break things down to the real reality…. I don’t think Teresa would continue on with this if it wasn’t for her contract…. I am sure that after this past episode you too were completely annoyed, I know I was…. It was apparent Bravo went off the deep end with out right lies and doesn’t care who helps them create them… Housewives was so fun in the beginning when it was more about day to day living of these women and the whole lifestyle… The tit for tat is not interesting and no one wants to watch manufactured catfights and slander… I wish Teresa had her own show…. Keep up the blog in a different light if you must…. I think your blog is great!!!

    • September 20, 2013 at 3:54 PM

Hey Real Truth, I commented on 2013/09/16 that I don’t believe Teresa is in a long-term contract that she can’t get out of – I think Heather Maclean tweeted that to give an excuse why Teresa doesn’t leave the show. Back in season 3, the rumor was she signed on for season 3 without knowing her family had joined, and that she signed a 2-3 year contract and that’s why she had to stay through season 5 – that may have been true, but she is a smarter business women than people give her credit for, and she wouldn’t be foolish enough to sign a multi-year contract that she couldn’t get out of after what she was put through in seasons 3 & 4. It was believable that she had an unbreakable contract for the past three years, but not anymore. If she wants to stay for the contracts and money, she should just say so – Teresa has never stated that she is in a long-term contract she can’t get out of. Someone should tweet her and ask her if this is true and if she has to return for season 6 because of it.

Fame said on 2013/09/16 at 3:19 AM

Bravo will always have the final word – no one can change that, so the best thing to do to express disapproval is to stop watching anything on Bravo, including RHONJ. I think Teresa has no choice but to allow herself to be made the villain because that’s what Bravo wants (and they probably pay her bonuses for allowing them to portray her as such), and she doesn’t want to leave the show (I don’t believe she is in a long-term contract that she can’t get out of – that doesn’t make sense – she’s not an indentured servant to Bravo).

Johnny said on 2013/09/08 at 9:47 PM

Have any of you ever considered that it’s all fake. NBCUniversal owns Bravo and many other media outlets. They have people working for different gossip websites and magazines to keep the buzz and shit going on their different shows on the network. They can say and do whatever they want. Need a lawsuit to create buzz about everyone’s favorite real housewife Teresa? CHECK! Need a doctored marriage certificate to create buzz and to help increase views for RHOM? Check! I believe the cast knows it’s all fake but they play along. Outside of the show they all hang out and laugh together with all the money they make for being puppets of Bravo while NBCUniversal spins and twists things to keep their viewers interested. All of these real housewives twitter accounts are inflated with fake followers. NBCUNiversal buys them all hundreds of thousands of followers to make them them seem popular. Go check out BravoRatings.com to see what these Real Housewives show pull in, in terms of viewership each week. Reality TV is fake as shit.

“Bravo will always have the final word, and they are protecting Melissa – no one can change that, so the best thing to do to express disapproval is to stop watching anything on Bravo, including RHONJ. ”

Exactly right. I removed Bravo from my TV a few weeks ago (rather I had the teenager next door do it because I don’t have a clue…). I find I don’t miss it, and I thought I would. And quite frankly, if they plan on taking the other shows down the same road they took NJ, I know I am not interested. There is already some talk about some cast members confronting Kyle (BHills) about her husband’s rumored cheating next season. Not something I want to see. Enough is enough.

I can live without the HW shows. I did like Top Chef, but found the last couple of seasons too gimmicky – cooking with one hand tied behind their backs….stuff like that.

I disagree and here is why … I’m the breadwinner in my family and I have a 1 year non-compete clause if I quit. I have asked to be released and “politely” been refused. I can’t afford to not work at the same level I’m used to for a year and we all know Teresa can’t either. She is their cash cow, Bravo is going to use her and abuse her and milk her teats as long as they can. Do I like it no, but I can empathize. Will I watch Bravo anymore — nope, blocked. I like her products, so I will continue to buy them as they are good.

My husband and I have always refused to sign the no compete clauses, and somehow always got away with it. BUT, we would never steal clients from the companies we work/worked for. Of course, all bets would be off if we worked for Bravo…

I was desperate and really didn’t think about it — I just wanted out of my last my job. Will I again no — NDA’s are fine but not non-compete.

          • September 20, 2013 at 11:44 PM

I bought all of Tre’s cookbooks and her hair products just to support her, but actually found that I loved everything I bought, which made me very happy. I didn’t hold it against Tre that she wasn’t leaving the show because it’s obvious she needs a steady job with 4 girls to support and a husband facing jail time…however, the more I think of it, the more I think that even IF Tre doesn’t participate in any of the shit stirring, she’s still appearing on a show that is showing her family in a bad light. My hope is that she is thinking she can stay on the show (without getting dragged down by it) until she’s financially able to leave without putting a burden on her family, but it’s getting harder to hold onto that hope!

Sorry to see you end your blogging here on mel & joe.

When RHOC started, I was an avid reader/poster at televisionwithoutpity.com. Bravo shut down the RHOC page several times & it ended up so closely monitored. I quit going to that site altogether over all the issues bravo caused. I think bravo bought that site shortly before I left it.

Very frustrating. Since the beginning of RH series, bravo has done everything they can to “protect” their shows.

Not all that long ago I started watching RHONJ again. I can’t watch it anymore if all on my own I have to do the investigative work in order to know what’s true & not true. Plus I don’t know people that were there, I have no contacts, on my own it would be years away from Faux’s current work. I surely won’t watch it & accept what I see at face value.

I started questioning watching the show again anyway. Morally speaking, it’s probably best I walk away from bravo altogether.

I will miss your blogs & investigative skills! Thanks for all your work to date.

Fame – I totally support your decision but you should know the last couple of days have been torture! (Gia voice) I’m very thankful that you have decided to let the Fame-ily still have a place to unite. You’ve always been my first click of the day and I have to admit I was a little lost without FW.

My biggest hope is that you know what you’ve accomplished with this site. Your goal to expose these Famewhores for what they truly are – has been achieved. Much like Erin Brockovich, you have put a spotlight not only on them but the network behind them and exposed the depths in which both are willing to go to ruin lives and families for nothing more than money and fame. One person can make a difference and you’ve done it!

I, like many, speculated whether or not Bravo was behind FW going private but during your absence I deleted my entire Bravo DVR line up. It wasn’t much (NJ, MDL-LA & Jeff Lewis) but enough to say I’m Forever Done with Bravo. I even deleted Bravo from my Favorite Channel List so I wouldn’t be tempted by Madison or Jeff Lewis.

I think my reason for holding out and not making the big and final push to eliminate the housewives forever wasn’t because of Teresa or my desire to see the twats and twits get what they deserve – it was because I would miss the Fame-ily. Sure, I found my way to FW because of them but I kept coming back because of the people. It took less than 24hrs of FW being private to realize I really didn’t care what happened to any of the cast – I just missed coming here.

It’s funny what goes through your mind when something abruptly ends or goes private. I found myself wishing I had at least been a little more open about myself and shared a little more as so many of you have done. I’m still not in a position to post my picture (hubby’s job), so I thought I’d at least share my namesake. My Gravatar is my 4 yr. old baby girl – Calypso. I’ve always been a cat person until this little 8 pound ball of hair came into my life. She’s grown just a little bit (140+lbs), she sheds and drools A LOT but she’ll always be my baby girl. Her name came from Pirates of the Caribbean. The Sea Goddess Calypso (Tia Dalma in human form) gave Capt. Jack a jar of dirt – which is what I was covered in every time I picked her up. Thankfully, she’s outgrown digging holes a trait my other Saint Bernard hasn’t.

Again, thank you Fame for coming back.

I am mainly a lurker and a sometime commenter on FW. Everyday I came to this site. EVERYDAY! I read every single post and every comment and cheered you ladies on from the sidelines. I can not tell you how many times a cheer of “YOU GO GIRL” was thrown out by me to an empty living room and sometimes to a room of concerned loved ones LOL. and then you were gone! Where did you go??? :O We lost our home. We lost our voice.
New Jersey hit home for me (and probably many others) on such an emotional level. You just don’t sell out your family! Teresa’s right when she asks the question “Who does that?” WHO??? When the chips are down you stand with your family. I have problems with family members but I would never, ever betray anyone in my family. I don’t know how Teresa did it. It would have broken me to have my friends, family and people I don’t even know betray me is to me a more unspeakable crime than 39 counts of fraud. I think Caroline and Al Manzo did have a hand in bringing Joe and Teresa down. She said her husband could destroy Joe…I think now to myself, Caroline always tells the truth. Evil! There is something evil and sinister surrounding this whole damn mess. Something went down with Fame Whorgas. Bravo! I think you need to look at who Melissa and Joe’s PR people are. People like Jonathan Cheban I think Ashley has a lot to do with publicity. Just an opinion. I know that Joe and Teresa committed a crime but what is the lesser of 2 evils. So if Fame Whorga is done…then I am too. That’s it for me. I wanted Teresa to win against Bravo and Andy and the rest of the scum. I’m not feeding into it anymore. So I am cancelling my subscription to US magazine. I will never watch Bravo again. I just received a Nielson survey in the mail…Woot! But what I will do is buy every damn Teresa product I can get my hands on because I want Teresa to know that I support her…I think she is one brave woman who has handled this whole nightmare with so much grace and dignity. YOU GO GIRL!!!! and Fame Whorgas….THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You have so much love and support around you…I hope you feel it. HUGS! I’ll be here everyday hoping you come back and reading you ladies (and gentlemen)!

      • September 21, 2013 at 11:53 AM

Melissa must have hired really good PR people because she is polluting the airwaves, the Today show, fox five, etc. with her inane interviews. Dr. Oz, too. maybe they are very powerful, because a book this bad would NEVER get any press attention. NEVER!

If you ask me, TSIL has been making a fool out of herself! What’s with her, “Don’t poop in front of your husband?”, yet it’s okay to talk about not pooping in front him? I want to ask her, “How about if you poop in front of your husband and you two don’t talk about what you just did?”. I hope no one takes her advice about holding in your bowel movements. I heard having obstipation is extremely painful!

I don’t feel hoodwinked @ all about Teresa’s tweets as she herself stated that she’s a “good employee.” I think she’s be foolish to get off the BRAVO $$$ train, and has her daughters best interest at heart. (Rightly or wrongly.) I also totally believe that after the jail stint – and whatever happens with Poor Juicy too – she will come back bigger and better, cuz the girl is one smart cookie. I fully expect that story to play out somewhere on some network (prolly BRAVO – once they see the Manzo spin-off crash and burn the lowest ratings of all times–you heard it here first, lol) and I also fully expect it to be Teresa downsizing her life..house/cars/birthday parties and struggling–with NO help–to care for her aging parents. The show will be a smashing success.

If the Whorega title/focus is the problem…how ’bout a blog called FAME-ILY? Most of the shows mentioned all have featured FAMEwhores in some form or other. Even those appearing on my beloved Discovery Criminal ID have some relieving ghastly rapes/murders just to get on tv, I think.

    Just an idea.

Although i’m sorry to see you go, I completely understand and support your decision. Life really is good, and it is far to short to spend your time doing something that brings you no satisfaction.

I am also going to echo what cammie wrote upthread – if you decide to blog about some other subject at some point in the future I’ll be glad to stop by and give it a read. I think it was your sense of fairness and decency that led you to start this blog, and I have no doubt that same sensibility would come through loud and clear on any issue you decide to weigh in on.

Take care and thanks for all of the hard work. To all of the posters, I wish you all much love and happiness!

All good things must come to an end, I suppose!

Thank you, Fame, for all the time and effort you put into exposing these phonies. The blogs have been so impressive and well written, it’s kept me coming back again and again.

But I think eventually, you have to move on and stop giving these frauds the attention, so I definitely understand Fame’s decision! It’s better in the long run, for our mental sanity.

    • September 20, 2013 at 10:49 PM

True, teramusique, all good things must come to an end. I’m having a very difficult accepting this. I have never felt so comfortable and welcomed as I have here on fame. I pray that as a family, we can continue this site. My wonderful husband as asked me a few times today, what is the matter with u Gloria? He does not understand the warm welcoming feelings that this site brings me.

Omg I was freaking out and searching everywhere for a clue to where Fame went! And believe me, it wasn’t because I needed a RHONJ fix! It was because I missed all of you! ❤❤❤
Fame has been the absolute best blogger about the truths regarding RHONJ, and I was so into it last season. But like Fame, and many of you, I was just not feeling the passion any more. And I began to feel like I was not only being duped by the show itself, but by the tweets and even by Teresa. I hate to say it, but it was all so ridiculously staged and scripted.
But I kept coming back to this site, every day, because of the kindhearted, honorable, unselfish fame-ily we have become. Every one here has a moral compass and it may sound corny but it makes me feel good about humanity! And some really funny people too! I come here and lmao at how clever and humorous you all are.
Fame, thank you for coming back so we all have a place to keep in touch. You have created an amazing blog and just because we are all sick and tired of Stumpy and friends doesn’t mean we can’t remain friends and continue blogging about whatever our hearts desire❤

    • September 20, 2013 at 7:51 PM

You were one of the ones I was trying to contact (find a way to contact that is). It is really hard, as many use different names on the different sites. I had no idea LMAO in Louisiana is really “confused” on this website.

So glad the band is back together!

We gave life to these programmes and blogs with our viewership and readership and in return, we get used for personal gain. No, I’m not naive enough to think that there is honesty in entertainment, this is business but surely every good business should know better than biting the hand that feeds you.

The phenomenon of the RHONJ went as far as your President and there are many underlings making a grab for cash, picking a the scraps. The one refreshing place to visit was here, Famewhorgas. Fame was never about profit or ego, the ego of many bloggers evident in the twitter wars and handling of readers, Fame was about defending the notion of right and wrong.

What happened to Teresa Giudice in season 3 and 4 was beyond decency. To me, it was a modern day witch hunt, mccarthyism at its best. This most recent season, 5, has been a farce. There is no reality to reality. If Melissa and Joe Gorga can continue to attack a family member despite someone (Jan) saying directly “it was me”, then they have an agenda. If Caroline Manzo can walk back into the drama despite saying ” I’m done” then she has an agenda. If the Wakilies can have hour long phone calls with the Greeks then they have an agenda. Jac, well she’s just nuts! If Teresa Giudice can’t walk away from a contract when at least two others have (Dina and Adrienne, let’s face it, the OC is a revolving door of wannabes… Jo got out) then TERESA GIUDICE has an agenda.

When I started watching the OC many moons ago, before all the other franchises, it was about taking a peek behind the gates at a life we’d heard about, a life of wealth in LA, the land of dreams and movie stars. Andy Cohen bastardised the formula leading to the most abysmal portrayal of women in pop culture. This is his legacy.

To the Gorgas, thanks for destroying a light hearted guilty pleasure.

    To Fame, I’m with you.

To the Fameily, if anything good came out of this bullshit, it’s finding that compassion and care still exists in humanity!

Anyone here a fan of ‘the Simpsons’ ? Remember the episode when the advertising icons took over Springfield and wrecked havoc on everyone. Lisa, in all of her wisdom said ‘ignore them and they’ll go away’ time to ignore the jersey show.
Melissa will never be a pop star. Name one pop star that started out Married, over 30 and with kids. She’ll go away,

Fame, thank you for all your time and effort put into making this blog the informative and inclusive place it has been for all of us. Your voice of reality will surely be missed (I have been like an addict checking morning and night until you came back. I too thought something “legal” was going on and started lurking other sites to find out what happened. I came home tonight and you’re back, but not really back, and now I’m super sad!!!). You have fostered an environment that made us posters that are scattered to the 4 winds feel like we were all part of a semi-private club, newbies are always welcome, and rudeness was not acceptable. It’s a little oasis of sanity in the craziness that follows this particular show. I think you could blog about anything you want and we will still follow you, because we are all smart cookies who think alike and enjoy and appreciate each other. For that I thank you.

I had so many daydreams growing up. Reality was the last thing I wanted to face. I read books and one in particular made me wish I lived in a house with a red velvet room filled with many books that I adored. I loved watching Grandpa Walton and Charles Ingalls. I loved anything creative. I dabbled in drawing and painting.

When I met my first husband, I started to enjoy reality. “You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”
    ― Dr. Seuss

Reality does hurt and sometimes it is brutal, but it is what we use to weigh truth and lies. There are so many people who love someone who is real with them. When other were able to be real with me, I was able to be real with them and it is a feeling of being alive. The longer it went the less I could tolerate anything deceitful. I felt a need to protect the things that were real.

“The more real you get the more unreal the world gets. ”
    ― John Lennon

My first time posting here. Just wanted to thank you for your work on this blog. This has been a very entertaining part of my daily online routine for months. I will say for the record I am not a huge Teresa fan. In fact, I’m betting you have quite a few viewers here who are not necessarily her fans, but appreciate an honest blog that doesn’t bash her like so many others out there seem to enjoy doing. I think RHONJ was once a fun show to watch but got ugly and fake fake fake once those nasty Gorgas and Wakiles came on board. I don’t like how they hurt a family member in order to get on a TV show. Hence, your title “Fame-Whorgas” is so spot on! What a shame it is to see this show go to hell like it has. What a mistake.

Thank you for the truth and for the fun!

I rarely comment here, but I love this blog. Fame, I truly appreciate everything you’ve written here about this train-wreck of a show. This past Sunday night, I turned on RHONJ, and couldn’t even watch five minutes of it. I love Teresa and Joe and their girls. Despite all their faults and legal troubles, I would love to see them have their own show. I don’t watch anything on Bravo anymore, and I have no desire to. All of their ‘reality’ shows are so obviously fake.

I enjoy reading everyone’s comments here, you all really do seem like a big family to each other. It’s nice to find that in the world that we live in today. I’ll be looking forward to some cooking posts; I spend a lot of my spare time baking and cooking for my family. Blessings to all of you!

Just got home from Mohegan Sun where TSIL had a booking signing. I really had to laugh at the so call line of people…like I said they were mostly young. If there was about 150 people that would be really stretching it. Most people that walked by didn’t know her especially the young guys. She was 15 minutes late…I have to say she wore a very pretty dress. It was a teal blue and she wore black stiletto shoes and that made her look taller. She kept chewing her gum constantly along with always fixing her hair. When she was announced, I didn’t clap…just looked at her. I was against the railing so I was upfront. Mr. Stubby wasn’t there with her…I was hoping he would be. Someone yelled we love you and she said I love you too. I said do you love Terese but she didn’t hear me. One of the assistant heard me. Some women who just happen to walk by liked her but hated Terese. I was really surprised about that. They think Terese is real mean person.

The signing was not in a room…it was in the walkway of the shops going from one casino to another. I only stayed for 15 minutes just to see who was there. I have to honest she does have a nice shape on her. On Fridays at the casino its Diva Night so they were having a machine game where money is blowing around in a enclose glass booth and if you are in there you have to try to catch the money that is blowing around it and then you have to feed it in the machine. It was just finishing up and when she came to her area so there wasn’t a real introduction when she came…it was just strange. It could have been anyone coming to sign a book. I didn’t take a picture of her because I didn’t want to acknowledge her…she was wearing that nude color lipstick and on some other site they thought she was wearing a wig…she wasn’t…her hair just had small waves too…kind of straight. She did interact with who ever came up to get their book signed. I don’t mean to be choppy with this but I’m trying to remember things.

I just checked TSIL twitter and she thanked everyone for coming last night to her signing…didn’t say how many came like the night she had 400 come. It was a epic failure. She also said that she is having a signing in Tom Rivers on Oct. 9…wonder if all her “friends” from Sushi Lounge will be there…

I also checked the sister’s twitter and someone posted a picture from the second floor balcony and it said look at all the people that showed up. I have to laugh the line did not go much further and there was people standing around the outside of the railing that did not have a book to sign.

Kathy Lee was flat out wrong (shame on her) for even asking that question. But the question of Antonia’s paternity has never been in question, she’s the spitting image of TB and Teresa with a little TSIL. Kathie Lee and her co-hort whatever her name is are as bad as Wendy Williams — junk programming.

Long time reader, first time commenter. I have been reading this blog since its inception. My secret addiction. Like many of you I came seeking the truth. Fame, you have done a wonderful job always giving us the correct information and I have admired the lengths you have gone to get us the facts. Although I am sad at your choice to no longer blog RHONJ I do understand your stance and respect your choice. When your site went dark these last few days I realized what I really missed was the community spirit you gave birth to. Funny since I never posted, yet I feel like I know so many of you here!
Sackem and her beautiful Ava. Ms Jeannie ( I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your dear Mom xo) Bree, LaraM, msjules, momajackie. Gessie!
Please don’t be offended if I don’t mention your name. There are so many of you and I know and love you all.
I do have a soft spot for Saddle though. She’s a fellow Jersey girl and a funny one at that! Sorry if this is so long.
Fame, I guess my point is to really say Thank You! ❤

I’m here but I’m quite at a loss. As I stagger about the house in a tattered dressing gown, sloshing my drink on the floor, I feel a real sense of loss.
A bit of background might help. As anyone who grew up in North Jersey would understand, we have always felt like bastards at a family reunion. Sneered at by folks on the other side of the river. Rejected as rubes living in celery fields. Closer to the Empire State than people in Massapeaqua. And nationwide – usually the butt of jokes or thought of as classless fools. Yet the truth would suprise people. Especially here in Northwest Bergen, the wealth is truly staggering. And the spirit and soul of so many people here is good and kind. And so many of the truly wealthy here are quiet and unassuming. (For God’s sake I live in a 22,000 sq ft house and have a 1994 Crown Victoria!) And they do so many wonderful things to help our communities. I was so hoping that when the show came on it was going to be a frothy romp. Getting to see local resteraunts and shops getting a nice spin. The area getting done up like a travelog so the rest of the country might actually see what a nice place it is. I did recognize many archtypes in the Housewives. I *know* people like them. I am related to people like them. As the show progressed I got a bit leery of how things were playing out, but I was hooked. Then the Vaginal Pinata (everyone gets to hit it) shows up. What a lying bitch. She could contradict herself in a single sentence! On one hand I was just thunderstruck by the lies and bullshit. On the other hand, I was getting that “inferior” feeling again. That The Whore of Babble On was poster girl for our State. It incensed me and obviously has sent me off on more than one tirade. But I guess I’m also beginning to feel like our dear Fame. I’m just getting tired of this sisyphean story. The Human Slop Bucket is never going to pay a price for her complete and total depravity. Tre will perpetually suffer. Whether this is all real, producer contrived or life out of control it doesnt matter any more. It’s a book so bad I’m putting it down without reading the last chapters. The upside is that I did discover this place where warm, caring intelligent people could get together and have a cyber coffee clatch. It is so damned rare to find a place so civil and pleasant.
        Thank you Fame.

Glad you are still here Saddle! I think many of us are done with NJ. It’s so fake and I don’t like for my intelligence to be insulted over and over. Please note that at least I don’t think they are portraying Jersey women. All of the women I know from Jersey are highly intelligent and quite successful.

          • September 21, 2013 at 12:35 PM

Love my Saddle. Now that we are all bearing our souls, I have a confession to make to Saddle.
I have a brother and sister in law in Upper Saddle River. For 15 years I sent them Hanukkah cards which they didn’t receive because I just put Saddle River. They don’t believe me and they hate me for it. True story. I visited them once in their home as I usually see them in L.A. My husband and I decided to take all the back roads from Newark(he had to stop for a Jimmy Buff hotdogit was terrifying and I am still mad about it) and go by Rutgers, through all the small towns all the way to Princeton to visit my son who was playing a game there. Everybody had American Flags, and beautiful flowers and pretty brick houses. I felt like I was in America. (I live in Coral Gables, Fl. right near that idiot Lea Black) I just love, love, love your neck of the woods.

Look at who they dug up in Miami. We all got the e-mail. “Are you a rich and fabulous socialite, blah blah blah.” Everybody deleted it with a double digit I.Q. Marysol Patton and her parents belong to my Yacht club. The father, who is a good friend of my husband is one of the most highly regarded ship appraisers in the world. He is quiet and very well respected. His wife, the one with the face (you should see it in person) is insane, loud and usually drunk.Plus she practices Santeria which is considered very low class. He cringes when either she or the daughter come in. You would never in a million years think such a refined gentleman would be married to her. He finds them embarrassing and I have never seen him show either of them any affection. I think he blocks them out. They usually come in to get money. Roy Black is pussy-whipped (I know ugly expression) Nobody can understand why he let his wife on this show and especially his son. But she has always been a kook and she seduced him at the William Kennedy Smith trial. His first wife was a very beautiful dominatrix who ran off with her personal trainer. He likes his women kinky. Our kids were in school together. The first wife was Asian and the daughter wsa one of the most beautiful creatures I have ever seen. They lived in that same house, (the one they shoot from the air to make it look big) but she didn’t get much money as it was she who was running around. As for the others, they are all complete nobodies. I would take that a step further and say they are undesirables. The Black Gala is not considered a high society event. Only lawyers who are sucking up to Roy or people who think they might get their picture in the paper go to it, and they never feature it in the society column like they do the Red Cross Ball, The Vizcaya Ball, or other things like that which I have not participated in in a very long time. The Plastic surgeon who says he is one of the most famous ones in the country, is not even highly regarded in Miami, much less the country. He runs one of those boob factories. Everybody on Star Island hates their guts and is trying to run them off the island. Look what he did to his own face! When Melissa said they needed younger housewives and someone pointed out that she was younger than Melissa, I almost fainted. She looks over forty because of what her husband has done to her. Nobody will let them film in good places, and literally they are all considered an embarrassment. I am sure it is much the same in N.J. Sorry for the ramble, and I didn’t mean to sound like a pompous ass, but that is the truth. Bravo sends out hundreds of these letters when they are casting and only the bottom feeders or crack pots respond. I personally, would not be caught dead at the Black gala. Puh-leeze.

            • September 21, 2013 at 12:36 PM

I apologize for that long disjointed ramble. Time to get off my ass and do something. I think I am just so happy fame is back that I am delirious.

              • September 21, 2013 at 4:58 PM

Wow-thanks for that “sweet” tea! 🙂 Coral Gables is very nice-we lived in Weston for a couple of years, and we would drive down to Little Havana to visit Cafe Versailles for a yummy Cuban lunch and that heavenly Cuban coffee and a fabulous pastry. After that we would drive around Coral Gables and look at the beautiful homes! All those huge banyan trees, lush landscaping and the Spanish homes from the 1920s!!! Oh my 🙂 The homes have so much character and personality, so many different architectural styles-most definitely not McMansions!

Saddle – on behalf of NY, I want to apologize for our abuse of NJ. Please understand, we can’t help it – our haughtiness is in our DNA. Yes, we really believe the sun rises and sets over NY (well, downstate anyway). I know we all sneak over for corn and tomatoes, hide under our sunhats on the shore – oh and the gasoline! Cheaper and they pump it for you! Deep down, under our disdain, there is love.

I have close family all over Northern NJ (even some in these HW circles, some in your area) and I think if it wasn’t so easy to get you guys so mad, maybe we’d lay off a little!

So forgive us our pomposity as we really can’t control it.

PS – you guys really need to ban the bumper sticker that says “Don’t worry, I didn’t learn to drive in New Jersey” – that kind of self-loathing isn’t good
PPS – Trust me, we hate when the rest of the country bashes NJ. Connecticut, not so much.

(will miss your great sense of humor and turn of phrase, Saddle)

Saddle-sure do hope you will come by!

        • September 21, 2013 at 9:07 PM

Saddle, I have been to New Jersey several times. I love New Jersey, it is beautiful. I fell in love with Spring Lake and I fell in love with the pizza at Pete and Elda’s. I once loved Atlantic City more than Las Vegas, the verdict is still out on that one, after this last trip. No doubt about it New Jersey is beautiful.

As you were hoping they would showcase the local shops and restaurants, I was also. I was also hoping they would focus much more on the damage hurricane Sandy caused throughout the various episodes.

This season is a repeat of the last two seasons and I am done with RHONJ.

I also thank Fame for giving me the opportunity to meet and interact with such wonderful, caring people.

Moma!!! Bug won his game 9 to 6; 7 of those 9 goals were his!!!!! One was from a kick clear across the field!!! Oh, Nana is so very proud!!!! And Bean scored points in his football game. He will play his soccer game tomorrow, as usual. This game won’t be as much of a challenge although I do have to say, even at this tender age of 7-9, these kids all play hard and play well – it’s so impressive what the coaches are able to get out of them. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!! 🙂

    Tomorrow is World Gratitude Day.

The fact that FW is back is something so obvious for us all to be thankful for, given we were faced with the possibility of not being able to connect with our Fame-ily.

So, moving forward, I am going to say I am grateful for spending tomorrow, the last day of Summer, celebrating my younger daughter’s birthday while attending two soccer games and two football games, cheering on my grandsons who are playing – WhooHoo!!!!

Maybe some of you would like to share what you are grateful for too.

      Hi Jeannie,

It sounds like the perfect day for you tomorrow. I know this is very late, but I was so sorry to read of your mother’s passing, wish I could hug you all the way from here. Bless you for being there for her in this life. It means everything.

And I’m grateful for so many things I don’t know where to start. It’s funny how things get … distilled down when time does the same. Things become crystal clear, what matters and what doesn’t.

So much to be grateful for. Right this second, I am most grateful my oldest daughter is just today past her 1/2-way mark pregnant, after trying seemingly forever, and that my other child is in the process of adopting her second baby. I never, after so long of hoping, praying, wishing it would happen for either of my two girls, would have imagined to be this blessed all at once. Life is amazing!

Have the best time with those grandchildren, Jeannie! :)))

      • Jeannie5233
        September 21, 2013 at 10:16 PM

Kali – thank you for the hug and your condolences. Yes, while I am lost right now without her as she was my everyday life for the past two years, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. She was finally safe and she was happy. And that is something I carry with me and helps me through the day. And it really does mean everything. She deserved to be happy.

Yes, being a grandparent is truly a blessing and I am so happy for you!! “Life is amazing!” It certainly is – the joy on my grandson’s face when he saw me today was enough to melt my heart into mush!!! I will keep your daughter in my prayers that she and the baby continue to be healthy and thriving and that your other daughter’s plans go smoothly. Grandchildren are such a gift and the love you have for them is unlike any other feeling in the world!!! 🙂

I am grateful to have found a safe place in an unexpected way. I have learned some things about family roles in dysfunction. I understand more about my past and I look forward to the future with anticipation of what God is going to bring into my life. I am grateful that I have many memories of loved ones that bring me joy.

My husband and my children mean a great deal to me. They keep the thoughts of what I do not have at bay. I would say adoption is something that has been happening to me this year that I am grateful for. A woman who helps me with genealogy adopted me as her daughter and now I have a Fame-ily 😀

Have a wonderful day tomorrow Jeannie. May your daughter have a great birthday and may those grandsons win their games.

When one gets to be almost 60, it makes a person realize how short life is. Even if I live to be 100, at this time, my life is more than half over. Those previous year went by so fast.

When a husband dies, the wife also grieves for what she has lost of herself. Who she was when she was with him.

You are still that person that he loves. It is part of you that was there before you met him and it blossomed in his presence. The more time you spend sharing your heart here, the more I will see it too, I am sure of it. Hugs

This blog and the commenters got me through a few hard periods in my life also. When I was so worried about my grandbaby and could not sleep, I would come on this blog. Yes, I have family and good friends. But who do you call at 3 a.m.?

A big hug and prayers to you.

Any suggestions, something different besides the above?! I would love some new ideas!! Never thought id have too many tomatoes!! 😉

I love tomatoes, and salsa Detroit! I have a question though…I despise cilantro. It fills my nostrils with the most odorous smell and one time I bought it instead of real parsley. I through away my $50 knife, took out the brand new lined trash bag full of the stuff, used 2 whole lemons down the garbage disposal to just get the ability to stand in my kitchen again. Oh! And I was nauseated like I was newly pregos or something!! And itchy! Yikes…now I’ve (sadly) found out that Chipolte’s Burrito joint has cilantro in their rice. And I not only got nauseated, but sweaty, and coughing as if my esophagus was closing up. I knew I had to be like a diligent with the salsas (of course jarred, I don’t have talent like you Detroit!)—-they seem to all have it. Shame. Oh the train of thought I went to regarding tomatoes…LOL I’m sorry!!

Hello Detroit-we had a lot of tomatoes this year too! Have your tried Teresa’s chicken bruschetta?(http://dnllmchll.tumblr.com/post/23198364335/recipe-chicken-with-bruschetta-topping-teresa)
It is very good. Also we love tomato/basil soup,(http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/roasted-tomato-basil-soup-recipe/index.html) you can make and freeze that.

Fame, I enjoyed reading your blogs, but you certainly don’t owe anything to your readers or anyone connected with RHONJ. You say the choice to stop writing about the NJ housewives was yours alone and not the result of being forced. That is all that matters. I will miss reading your well researched as well as entertaining posts. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors!

So happy to see you are well, and grateful you’ve decided to leave the blog up for the FW community.

Look at what you started! 🙂 Your dedication to detail, and to bringing out the truth, your talent at seeing right through the BS: by bravo!, are what drew me here long ago, and you and your posters are still the best thing that the RHNJ ever brought forth.

Thank you for all the work that has gone into this place. I will sorely miss your most excellent abilities at getting to the REAL real housewives.

Since I got fed up with the show midseason 3, I haven’t watched a single episode, so I totally understand your need to end it. But … But! But I am realllly going to miss your pithy way of laying waste to the bravo borg! But I get it. I’m really torn here, but I do relate. I can’t watch their tripe. Yet I admit to real enjoyment, to looking forward to catching up here as often as possible. Laughing until tears were rolling half the time… This place has been a real solace for me, Fame. It feels like a healing place, not to get too corny here. A real community of sympaticos. Having a great time together. 🙂

Anyway, Fame, take a bow. There is no other website like FameWhorgas on the net. You are an original, and I hope you continue writing about whatever moves you to do so.

Again, thanks for allowing the space here for everyone to continue on, and I wish you all the best in the future.

The only time I really thought I saw a lot of acting on all their parts was last week’s episode when they were all sitting around and the new trailer for tomorrow night when they were showing each of their faces when Jacko was talking to Penny. We’ve been fooled.

FAME, kudos to you for everything you’ve brought to light on this blog. I was late finding this blog..it was right after last season and, I knew things were a little screwy. For the first week, I read every blog you had posted! Took my IPad to doctor apps.,bed, everywhere! LOL And like so many others, you were my first blog of the day. Love, love love the commenters on here. I rarely commented; just loved sitting back and reading. Anywho, I do hope you keep this blog just so we can all get together. Even if the subject is an ingrown toenail, I’ll listen…lol. Okay, I think I wrote “blog” too many times! Love you Fame and love all these gals who come here to chat. Char💓

OT..I remember a poster saying how she had seen a Bentley (car leased by the Gorga’s) drive by her neighborhood heading towards Terese’s house late at night when they were supposedly not talking to each other. At the time, I didn’t believe it…but now…I think it may be true. They were probably putting their stories together. I’m trying to think its not so but you never know.

  113. September 21, 2013 at 9:13 AM

well ive said it many times before but ill say it again, it is one of the most peaceful places on net, ive never seen an insult or even a fight between the users, they respect each other and each others opinions, thats why my morning was starting with FW, and one day when i saw it was off i just panicked, weird right?! i dont even know anyone here, but i felt like it was very warm and nice here, felt like welcomed every time.

FAME: please if u ever decide to turn off the site again, let us know. ive read the post that it is your choice to take off the posts, but by any chance, if its not and it has to do with bravo, just let us know, im not citizen of us and im not in us so would be glad to post news on your behalf.

thanks for coming back, cheers and good luck with everything.

RHONJ has ruined New Jersey & has had a hand in ruining many peoples lives, including people who don’t have anything to do with the show. There are many things going on behind scenes that are so sick that I literally moved to New York because of it all. I lived in Toms River until the end of 2011. That’s when so much started going on around Jersey. It is a complete circus all over the state. You can’t go anywhere with out there being dozens of film crew, photographers & News crew, & there a signings & meet & greets everywhere. I can’t get away from these disgusting people. I am on anxiety meds because of all the trauma this stupid show & the lying pigs cast in it have caused. It has destroyed the lives of so many & the truth will never come out! Unfortunately I am not just a viewer but someone who has had her life uprooted because of Bravo & the Gorgas! Everyone else can just walk away from it all but I can’t! I have to deal with this bull all the time since it personally affects my friends & family. I can’t even visit my home town because of the cameras all over & the whorgas with their minions everywhere! I am an introvert & a Capricorn. I hate attention or people looking at me & would never want to be on camera, but everywhere I go there are Cameras, Manzos, Gorgas, Lauritas & Wakiles! God, I just want this to all stop! The whole show is a joke & has gotten sooo out of control! They need to end the Real Housewives franchise all together. I just want the past three years of Hell to END!!!!

      • xjrsygrl7733
        September 21, 2013 at 10:47 AM

Yes it is so infuriating, I have so much anger in me because of this stupid show. I don’t know how to fix it! There’s so much negativity surrounding this show & Bravo in general. I could tell Fame was feeling the same as me lately. It is so draining trying to get the truth out. I think the only way to stop all this is to boycott Bravo completely. I don’t understand these people who go to such evil lengths to make a buck! They all have innocent kids whose lives are forever changed because of the show. Maybe we all should start a petition to get Bravo off the air!

    • September 21, 2013 at 10:11 AM

I absolutely agree with you, this show is a farce. I live in the south and do not have to witness this nonsense. My son lives in Atlanta and I don’t think these shenanigans go on there or at least he hasn’t seen anything. I mean look at the Gorgas, complete pieces of trash being paraded on TV like they are celebrities. It is like they are forcing Melissa down our throats. We need a petition to get her off the air! I could go on about the rest of the cast too.

        September 21, 2013 at 1:48 PM

The sad thing is my favorite parts of nhonj have always been when everyone is getting along. I find them funny and it’s fun to watch some of my families traditions on tv. And Teresa her parents and in laws share things that I didn’t get to see because we aren’t traditional. I especially love hearing them speak Italian. This drama junk is so stupid. And even tho there was drama with Danielle, it’s different now. It’s worse and boring!!! Except for Rosie, she’s the only bright spot in the additions.

        • September 21, 2013 at 2:10 PM

A big YES to all this!

    • September 21, 2013 at 12:21 PM

I’m sorry, XJrsygirl. This is really bizarre watching what is happening to RHONJ. It’s like the cat is out of the bag, and it has been for a while now, but Bravo is still playing like the bag never existed. It’s like someone playing hide-go-seek with you and hiding right in front of you and your going, “does he/she think I’m that stupid and can’t see them hiding even after I tell them I can?”. I do pray to God when things seem to be going crazy and I’ll say prayers for you. It’s not right that your life was uprooted because of a “reality” show that isn’t really “reality” but wants everyone else to believe it. It’s hard when you have your morals and values crapped on by people who are playing like they have morals and values. It’s unjust and unfair especially when the people seem to not even notice, or care, how their actions are affecting other’s.

  115. September 21, 2013 at 10:04 AM

I am so glad you are back online. If this train wreck of a show is not cancelled, I will not be watching anymore either, but I do enjoy the friendly banter on this blog. I refuse to comment on any other as it is an invitation to be bashed. I enjoy reading everyone’s opinions and your blog is the best source for the truth. Good luck to you! Is there a way for us all to stay in touch, I have come to respect the people on this site and would like to continue the camaraderie.

Like everyone, I’m sad about losing Fame but I totally understand. Fame, I don’t know how you did it at all – besides the soul-suckingness of it, where did you find the energy?! And everyone here got me to go from a lurker to a sometimes poster thanks to their insight, humor and civility.

What I’m having trouble understanding is why take down all the blogs? Is it that you don’t want to be part of the bravo machine buoying M&J (who I agree, love all of this gossip and outrage)?

I think the blog is more beneficial than you know! When I found FW, I was feeling crazy and like WTF – why I am so upset over a dumb show – I’m a professional adult, an activist who champions the poor, a real crunchy-granola do-gooder. I don’t ogle wealth and have no desire to be a millionaire (I would end up giving it all away anyways) No one in my regular life would believe I watched RHONJ!! But there I was, truly upset over what was happening on this stupid show!!

FW cleared it up for me. Ahhh, I was reacting to the fake BS and I always felt the setup. Since I’ve always liked Teresa and had Meho’s # from day 1, it was intensified. I identify with Teresa a lot – same background, from the same area of the country – even the table flipping – in my family we say italian tempers are like pine trees on fire – once the light – whoosh – they go up in this huge flame but don’t burn long. So to watch this planned attack on her really got to me. Once I understood, my angst became less and less to the point where I even stopped watching. I stayed here for the updates and the great commenters.

So I don’t think the blog feeds the machine as much as you think! Look how many of us have stopped watching!!

Sorry for the super long post and also if you’ve already answered this question, I’m still going through the hundreds of comments! Thanks for everything Fame and if you ever start another blog – be it on the intricacies of needlepoint or string theory – you know we’ll all be along for the ride!

PS – FW or no FW, I’m still with Dubba!

In Melissa’s book, why does she not talk about the birth of her third child, Joey? Makes me question the curiousity of when Joey was conceived, who helped conceived him. I have a gut feeling Husband Joey knows melissa cheats and is scandalous. He just does not question it or want to hear it because he wants to keep the perfection he think he has alive.

    • xjrsygrl7733
      September 22, 2013 at 9:48 AM

Melissa Gorga does not care about her kids at all. She doesn’t talk about them, film with them, take them any where, play with them, cook for them or spend anytime with them. Her sister has them all the time. We all saw how she acted with the snowballs, she is disgusted by having to deal wither children!

  120. Madra
    September 21, 2013 at 11:28 PM

Wow !! I did not know that she doesn’t mention her third child in her book . I agree indeed that is very suspicious and questionable ! I am also very pissed of that Melissa and Joe are going to be on bethenny this coming Monday !! Why would bethenny want to have those fake ass frauds on her show, all they are going to be doing is putting up a front as usual. also rich wakile was on their this week arghhhhhhhh I can’t stand him.

I may be the only one that feels this way but I do believe that in the near future like when this series is over possibly during the last season that Melissa will be exposed for what she really is and I also believe that their phony marriage will end in divorce and baby joey will turn out not to be biologically joey gorga’s , the baby will have a different father maybe bryan’s I don’t know. I also believe that when that happens our girl Teresa will be proven innocent and she will be vindicated. That is probably when Teresa will get her own show on another network. all of the Teresa haters will have to come back crawling on hands and knees begging for her forgiveness. who the hell knows with this group of women carowhine might be the one that will expose messy in the future, or bravo may be setting messy up to expose her as well cause deep down they all know the truth about that horsey face skank they just don’t want to admit it yet, just my theory…….

When Joe talked a bit abt raping MeHo, Bethenny said “OMG, I just threw up in my mouth”. She asked them if they read each other’s phone msgs and they said Yes. The rags reported that MeHo threw a fit and flung his phone against the wall. So I think Bethenny may have been remembering that. Someone said Joe walked out on stage in front of MeHo like he was the Star. I missed him doing that but saw the rest of the show. MeHo once again repeated her over used words of “respect” in a marriage.

Jim Marchese told RadarOnline that his family didn’t mesh with the show, and that viewers don’t understand that the show is STAGED! Jim said that producers told them how to act, and that it didn’t actually represent how they are in real life. Jim revealed that producers told him to be rude, while they told Amber to constantly bring up her cancer. Jim revealed that the couple doesn’t need the money, nor do either of them want to be actors for a staged reality TV show. Jim proceeded to shade the other castmates of the Real Housewives of New Jersey by claiming that they “know the game” and reveals that the only reason the other ladies are on the show is because none of them actually have any real money!

    From RadarOnline:

According to Marchese, they didn’t mesh well with the production.

“This show doesn’t fit who we are as people, our lifestyle, and who we are as a family,” he explained.

“The viewers don’t understand it’s not real,” he said. “I was told to go to a place. I was told to hit beats, so I did it.”

“What they [the viewers] saw of Amber and I, was what the storyline called for,” he claimed. “The constant beating of the drum of ‘She has cancer’ or ‘I’m being rude,’ that was what was required of us. That is not how we conduct ourselves.”

“I don’t need the money,” he said. “I never wanted to be famous. I never wanted to be an actor.”

“To be snarky, if I wanted to, I would buy my own production company,” he joked. “I don’t want to though. My bank lends hundreds of millions of dollars a year. I’m relatively certain if I want to buy a half an hour on Bravo or any other station, I could do it.”

“For the people returning, they know the game,” Marchese sniffed. “And quite frankly, they don’t have any money, so they have to do it to support their family. If we were in a financial position where we needed to, we would do it. But we’re not.”

So will the Marcheses stay connected with any of their former costars now?

“We won’t miss the cast because we didn’t really know anyone,” he claimed. “I know that Amber rekindled a friendship with Melissa [Gorga] and created one with Jacqueline [Laurita], so I’m sure they will keep in touch. I think that’s nice, but we have no desire to stay in touch with anyone else from the cast.”

And for any new cast members auditioning for the show, Marchese wishes them “good luck!”

“We were given a job,” he concluded. “We did it. Now we are moving on.”

The infamous “bitch” scene was fake/scripted texts reveal Cynthia’s part in it

    From the article at RadarOnline:

In the text message, which Leakes claims was sent one day before they filmed the infamous scene, Bailey acknowledged that the pair had discussed the scene involving their husbands.

Bailey allegedly wrote: “Change of plans for the scene. Not going to do the b*tch thing with Gregg. I thought it would be funny, but I really don’t want to call him out… even as a joke”

The text continues, “[I] think we should have real grown folk conversation, address our concerns as friends, apologize, hug it out and have cocktails.”

Leakes captioned the text message: “Did u forget u sent me this text after Mexico, the morning before Gregg and I shot the scene with u and Peter. Don’t play dumb friend!”
