Penny & Teresa

A source told FameWhorgas that during the Bravo-arranged meeting Penny had with Joe and Melissa Gorga at Chakra in Paramus on February 28, 2013, Joe and Melissa were making accusations against Teresa in an attempt to get Penny to say that Teresa was complicit in arranging the phone call at the Holiday Posche Fashion on December 3, 2012, the call where a friend of Penny’s tells Teresa that he witnessed Melissa cheating on Joe Gorga. According to my source, Joe and Melissa told Penny that Teresa is calling her a stalker, and Penny, trying to protect Teresa while also defending herself against the accusations, took out her cell phone to show Joe that she has Teresa’s home phone number, cell number and text messages between them. In addition, my source said Penny told Joe and Melissa that she’ll have to take up the accusations with Teresa. According to my source, based on hearsay on Twitter, “it’s deemed accurate that Teresa called her a stalker, and Penny won’t stand for false accusations.”

The entire cast knew of the Greeks, Penny and John Karagiorgis, since the season 3 Posche fashion show, which was taped on September 27, 2011. Plus, the Greeks’ niece, Marigo, booked members of the cast for Wendy Williams’ talk show (she now is the booker for Bethenny’s talk show).

1. Melissa knew Penny through mutual friends (Penny took over the salon where Melissa used to hang out, and when she took it over, the staff remained – they knew Melissa and her stories well, but Melissa stopped coming into the salon after the old owner, Robert, who paid for her boob job, left).

2. Kathy knew of the Greeks through her daughter’s friendship with their niece and nephew (who are rubbing shoulders with the Wakiles in an obvious attempt to share in their spotlight – even calling Rich, Kathy and Rosie uncle and aunt on twitter, a very public display of disrespect toward their real uncle John and aunt Penny, indicating that there is discord in the Greeks’ family). She and Rich called the Greeks the night before the Posche 2 ambush to convince them the cast had made peace and to encourage them to come to the event and celebrate with the them.

3. Penny said Caroline and Jacqueline had been calling her from the Arizona spa in March 2013, telling her that Teresa was trash talking her. Along with the rest of the cast, they met the Greeks at the S4 Posche Fashion Show finale taped on September 27, 2011.

4. Teresa has known the Greeks since 2011 (see photos here, here, here and here), and she and her makeup artist Priscilla know John Karagiorgis’ sister Vasilia (the mother of the niece and nephew who are friends with the Wakiles), tweeting photos of themselves with her in August 2012:

On September 29, 2013, FauxRealityEnt tweeted about the Wakiles using the Karagiorgis’ niece, Marigo, to get him to agree to meet with Rich and Joe Gorga and call a truce:

So @RichardWakile used his daughter’s friendship with #JohnnyTheGrk’s niece to go see him, but “doesn’t know who he is?”

@donna627lee @MarigoPR @WendyWilliams Now she books for Bethenny & besties with Wakiles, calls Rosie, Aunt Rosie.

So let me understand, Bethenny’s booking girl who is #VictoriaWakile’s friend is #JohnnyTheGrk’s niece but “who are these people”

On February 28, 2013, QueenzOfMedia (QOM, aka Grace Alexis) commented on my blog to intimidate me to take down one of my blogs (the one published in March 2012 where John Karagiorgis helps Pete Giudice take on QOM):

“I have developed a friendly relationship with the Giudice family and personal friends so your continued use of my twitter feed to generate content for your blog Must Stop!…. I suggest you remove all content involving me.”

QOM “developing a friendly relationship with the Giudice family and personal friends” struck me as extremely odd since they had been bashing the Guidices up until then.

At the link below, you can see John Karagiorgis and Pete Giudice backing each other up on Twitter as QOM bashes the Giudices in January and March 2012:

Pete Giudice ‏@PeteGiudice
I want to make this clear. Me and my family including Teresa and Joe have no relations with Johnny and Penny Karagious we are not friends.

John Karagiorgis then backed up Pete’s assertion that the Giudices weren’t friend with them, which was an obvious attempt to cover for Teresa’s involvement in setting up Melissa at the season 4 finale (strippergate).

“For the RECORD & TO BE CLEAR: @Teresa_Giudice in no way, shape, or form knew about Angelo being at the Posche Fashion Show!!! #FACT #TRUTH” – John Karagiorgis ‏@JohnnyTheGrk, September 20, 2012, Twitter

Then next day, Penny retweeted a link to “an interesting comment” from an insider who was present for the taping of the season 4 finale.

Well now we know why Penny & Johnny were told to play nice at the Posche Show. Penny was about to confront Melissa while she was talking to Teresa but producers told her not to interfere. Johnny was going to come to Kim D’s defense while midget Gorga was verbally abusing her but producers told him to stay back as well. Even better, producers told Johnny to play along when confronted by midget because this was their way of introducing Penny to the show, Bullshit!!! Producers were con artists.

I saw the crap unfold in front of me. Johnny told the black haired producer that he’d play nice only for Penny but if “the midget” made any stupid moves he’ll “put him through the F’in wall”. I even heard one of the security guys tell Johnny “relax bro, no one needs to see you hurt anyone on camera”. Then I heard Johnny laugh and said “I know bro”.

Believe me or not, I was there as a guest and all unfolded in front of me. That’s all I’m saying.

There was just so much happening. I found it odd how the producer grabbed Penny aside & kept asking her and her employees if they were certain about the whole Lookers thing. Penny kept saying “what don’t you understand? She was managed by him”. There was a short blond haired girl next to Penny who kept saying something like Melissa always came to the salon and Robert always went to go see her there (Lookers). As well as another girl who said “I was friends with the bitch and she acts like she don’t know me because I know who she really is”. All this in front of the black haired producer, I guess her name is Kat. I did see Johnny rush at the doors when they told him Kim D was getting attacked by Joe and the security and producers held him back. They really sold him some bull how to just let it play out. Wow was he pissed. Yes I was nosey 😉 . I was sitting at the table in front of Penny and the HWs.

Have you seen Penny & Johnny’s tweets geared at Melissa? Johnny said she doesn’t know the difference of sauce or gravy “ragu isle 3″ & something to the fact if you can trace your roots back to the motherland it’s sauce. Then the team account commented back “ragu? More like Goya” WOW.

Penny then commented about knowing other salon owners & for Melissa to stop talking shit about her family and ended it by calling her a stripper. It’s getting hot & spicy.

SH, how do you feel about Penny and Johnny? Maybe it’s time for you to interview Penny & Johnny. I mean, she did a radio interview with Will Love.

At 11 PM on October 6, 2013 Teresa tweeted, “Where did these people these strangers come from?,” with the link to a blog at RealityRow which implied that the Wakiles are friends with John and Penny Karagiorgis (the Greeks), but John tweeted and denied that they were friends or acquaintances. The Greeks’ niece (@marigoPR) and nephew (@gmihalos), who seem to be estranged from John and Penny, have recently become very good friends with the Wakiles, and tweeted photos of themselves with the Wakile family, referring to Rosie, Kathy and Rich as aunt and uncle. It’s likely the Wakiles hired the Greeks’ niece to handle PR for the family (based on tweets, it looks like that may have occurred around June 2013).

On October 10, 2013, Teresa Giudice tweeted that she is coming out with a new dessert and coffee line under her Fabulicious trademark:

Teresa Giudice ‏@Teresa_Giudice Oct 10
Joe, team & I are on our way to Boston to promote my new Fabulicious Dessert & Coffee line. Can’t wait to share it with my adoring fans! LLL

Two days later, on October 12, 2013, Kathy Wakile told OK magazine that she is expanding her dessert line, Dolci Della Dea (which presently has one product, cannoli making kits), to include coffee:

“Rich and I went up to Boston and we had the best time. We were meeting with a lot of people, and it looks like my dessert business is going to expand considerably, and what better to expand it with than dessert and coffee? I’m really thrilled to be going that route.”

A year earlier, in October 2012, Kathy announced her cannoli making kits, which became available on QVC in December 2012. They are no longer available on QVC, but you can purchase the 24-piece kit for $39.99 PLUS a shipping and handling fee of $38.61 (almost 100% of the product price!) on Kathy’s website (includes 24 cannoli shells and two cannoli cream pastry bags shipped using dry ice).

kathy 2

During season 4, Kathy met with Italian dessert company Bindi, which also has a plant in Totowa, NJ, to negotiate a partnership for her Dolci Della Dea dessert line. The deal must have been solely for the cameras because it seems nothing ever came from it.

Also making matters worse, Kathy announced in July 2013 that she has a deal with St. Martins Press to write a dessert cookbook, “Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts — 75 Recipes that Keep Life Real Sweet.”

Teresa told Kathy in season 4 that she didn’t think there was a demand for a dessert-only cookbook (although Teresa includes dessert recipes in her books, she has not written a cookbook only about desserts). The following is a partial transcript (video here) of the conversation in season 4 when Kathy and Rich attend (for the first time) one of Teresa’s cookbook signings – this one at a bakery.

Teresa flips through her cookbook and points at photos.

Kathy: Oh, my mother’s pizzelles! Oh, my mother’s cookies too! Oh, my God!

Teresa: Well, they kind of almost have, like, the same recipes, but like (Kathy, not listening to Teresa, interrupts).

Kathy: Oh, that’s cool (pointing at the photo in Teresa’s cookbook).

Teresa: In my next cookbook, I’m going to put the recipe of the pizzelle in there.

Kathy: So your next cookbook it’s going to be like a a baking cookbook?

Teresa: No. You know what? Everybody watches their weight. Like, nobody’s going to buy a straight up dessert cookbook, that’s what I think.

Kathy and Rich look at Teresa but there is a noticeable pause before they speak.

Rich: Alright, well, listen, congratulations.

Kathy: Congratulations.

Rich and Kathy leave.

Rich: That was kind of awkward!

Kathy: I didn’t know that she was that good at baking, but that’s great, you know?

UPDATE September 6, 2014: On September 3, 2014, Kathy stopped by Bookends Bookstore in Ridgewood (image below) for her first appearance to promote her new book, Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts That Keep Life Real Sweet. [Bergen.com]

Kathy’s dessert cookbook hit shelves on September 2, 2014. Early release sales in August were less than 40 copies; sales in September as of the 6th are less than 30 copies, according to novelrank.com.

Kathy took several digs at her cousin Teresa during an interview about her cookbook for New York Daily News on August 31, 2014. The following is that article.

Kathy Wakile of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ pens a new dessert cookbook

Meanwhile her castmate and cousin Teresa Giudice and hubby Joe face prison time on fraud charges

BY Sherryl Connelly, NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Sunday, August 31, 2014

While Kathy Wakile of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” readies for the release of her first cookbook, her cousin and castmate Teresa Giudice has less to celebrate this weekend.

This may be the last holiday Giudice and her family spend together for a while. She and husband Joe Giudice are due in federal court Sept. 23 to be sentenced on several counts of fraud, with both facing prison time.

The cousins have had their feuds, many filmed for the Bravo reality show, but Wakile says she supports Giudice in her time of need.

“Families are there for each other in good times and bad,” Wakile tells The News. “It’s not like we’re not talking or that there’s bad feelings. We’re not avoiding each other. We just have busy lives.”

Wakile adds that she’s reached out to Teresa repeatedly while they were filming.

“I reached out not just once, but several times,” she says. “It was off camera. Not everything has to happen in front of the cameras. But you can’t keep offering if it’s not accepted.”

Giudice, who declined to comment for this story, has been enjoying the end of summer with her husband and their four daughters.

“We’re still at the Jersey Shore trying to enjoy the last few days of summer before the girls go back to school,” Giudice posted to her Bravo blog last week. “Summer’s too fast! I don’t want to send my kids back!”

Wakile, meanwhile, has reason to embrace the unofficial end of summer. Her new book, “Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts That Keep Life Real Sweet,” arrives Tuesday.

Wakile made her bones as a baker the night in 2011 when her magnificent cannoli cornucopia debuted on “ Real Housewives.” It was the finishing touch to a Thanksgiving dinner that impressed family and friends including castmates Melissa and Joe Gorga. Fans, too.

“I was flooded with tweets, emails and Facebook comments,” says Wakile. “You could say I wrote a cookbook by popular demand.”

“Indulge,” with Miriam Harris, is a collection of mini-desserts that an Italian housewife would normally do up big, like the cannoli.

“These are real desserts for real people, just small-sized,” says Wakile. “You can indulge but still maintain a balanced lifestyle.”

Wakile insists that the emphasis on calorie-controlled portions is not a response to Teresa Giudice’s nasty prediction, made on the show, that “a dessert cookbook will never do well because everyone is watching their weight.”

“She said this while we were sitting in a bakery,” laughs Wakile.

Wakile reports that Giudice turned mean the moment she learned that Wakile was writing a cookbook.

“Instead of encouraging me she started saying things or making a real point of not acknowledging me when we were all together,” says Wakile.

Giudice is herself the author of several bestselling cookbooks including “Fabulicious!: Teresa’s Italian Family Cookbook.” She also just expanded her Fabulicous food line beyond pasta and condiments to include desserts.

“It’s hypocritical,” Wakile says. “Honestly, I can’t understand what goes on in her head.”

She stresses that the recipes in her cookbook are “developed strictly by me.” There’s been more than one accusation of recipe-theft on “RHoNJ.”

Wakile was at the center of one and it of course involved Giudice. At a book signing event, Wakile exclaimed at a photo in the “Fabulicious!” cookbook, “Oh, my mother’s pizzelle!”

“Teresa took it that I was trying to say she stole my mother’s recipe,” says Wakile. “I wasn’t saying that, but that’s the way she thinks.”

Wakile uses many of her mother’s recipes in “Indulge,” but most have been modified through her years of baking as a housewife and mother in Wayne, N.J. She also includes recipes drawn from her husband Richie’s Lebanese heritage.

“His family introduced me to a whole new set of ingredients including figs, rosewater and yogurt,” she says. “After awhile I started blending the cultures in the kitchen.”

A “Fresh Fig Pizzette Bar” is one delicious result. Meanwhile, her updated Italian classics include a Limoncello Tiramisu, “Capri Mia.”

Wakile goes rogue from both cultures with “Hound Dogs,” a banana, peanut butter and brown sugar-infused tribute to Elvis.

Interestingly, there are no recipes for cannoli in the cookbook. That’s because Wakile is still marketing her at-home cannoli kits through her “Dolci Della Dea” (sweet goddess) line.

Meanwhile, Wakile’s husband Richie, who manages the family’s property investments, is doing fine as are their two children, Victoria, 20, and Joe, 18. All have been featured players on the Bravo show as has her sister, Rosie, who recently ended a romance with a woman that fans had hoped would be her wife.

“Rosie’s doing fine,” Wakile reassures. “She’s ready to move on.”

Wakile says she’s fine too with her changed status on the show, making only guest appearances on Season 6, currently airing.

Still, it seems Giudice is not done with Wakile.

A trailer for this season shows Giudice tossing a cannoli into a tray of short ribs while exclaiming, “How do you spell bitch? K-A-T-H-Y.”

Wakile just laughs. “I don’t know what that’s about, but I know one thing: I would never throw a cannoli away.”

In addition to Teresa’s cookbooks and Kathy’s dessert cookbook:

Caroline Manzo released “Let Me Tell You Something: Life as a Real Housewife, Tough-Love Mother, and Street-Smart Businesswoman,” a memoir and advice book, in March 2013.

Melissa Gorga released “Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage,” a memoir and marriage advice book, on September 17, 2013.

Danielle Staub released her memoir, “The Naked Truth: The Real Story Behind the Real Housewife of New Jersey,” in May 2010.

Dina Manzo announced on October 3, 2013 that she is “sharing her secrets in a party planning book” http://tinyurl.com/jw9vm7x.

It won’t be surprising if Jacqueline Laurita announces that she’s writing a memoir about raising a child with autism.

UPDATE 2/21/2014: Jacqueline told Life and Style magazine on February 21, 2014 that “my husband and I are writing a book together about our journey with autism.” In the same article she claimed that her departure from RHONJ was because “I needed a little bit of a break, but we’ll see what happens from there.” She then took aim at her sister-in-law Dina Manzo by telling the magazine: “I understand why Dina wouldn’t want me on the show: She doesn’t want to address family issues on-camera!”

Watch Kathy tread some more on Teresa’s turf in the following cooking video, “In The Kitchen With Kathy Wakile,” from BetterTV (how many more Housewives are going to go the cooking show and cookbook route – one per show should be the limit!).

Bethanny’s talkshow is tanking. Its pathetic that her only guests are other housewives. Its becoming her crutch, so much for moving on from the franchise. By the way, I love this blog. I read not because I hate Melissa Gorgz but because I really like Theresa. There is a “personna” to Theresa but there is also an authenticity. I also have a SIL who has tried to infiltrate my life and tear me and my brother apart. It worked. We all no longer speak. But I really get that she is his wife and they have to walk down the aisle of life til death do them part. I have my life and I respect their union. But my SIL is totally wrong and should try to being the family closer, she’s immature. Anyhoo, whenever I hear Joe Gorgz mention these bloggers, I really think he is referring to this site. It is very easy to find the a Google search and it is soooo riveting. I am sure he wants his sister to denounce all of it but FOR WHAT?!! Big sister can’t be fighting all your battles especially when you are grown with hair on your balls. That’s for Melissa’s sisters…the Marco Pollo-Heads. Keep up the blog…super fun stuff!!

I have a SIL who did the same thing…and I’m still standing here in a daze wondering how she did it. Like Teresa, I stood by like a deer in headlights just dumbfounded by SIL and bro. A friend gave great advice…some people are just horrible and they see nothing wrong with their behavior; the lies, manipulations…none of it. And it’s hard when the sibling, raised the same as you, is different. A good spouse brings out best…a bad spouse… Well, if bro is acting ugly, she is bringing it out….BUT… he is OK with it…I think that was the part of the equation I couldn’t wrap my head around. I can’t fix “them”…only my reactions to them

Long road..but for all that’s scripted or not on these shows, their pain and circumstances are real and sadly, so many of us can identify with in our own lives. Until you’ve lived it, all the things you’d think you’d do or say in similar circumstance, well…Teresa as the babbling, confused, “deer in headlights” looks and feels familiar…

      • October 11, 2013 at 11:03 PM

Yes. Sorry you went through that but I feel like it’s a big part of understanding what’s going on. When you’ve been through it, it’s familiar territory.

      • October 11, 2013 at 11:44 PM

So true. No matter what is fake or real about the show, our reaction is real.

Both of my parents come from large families. I have learned that issues lie between siblings and rise to the surface when one parent dies, and then the whole unit breaks apart in sections. When the other parent dies, everything seems to let loose, no longer having a reason to hold anything back. Things are revealed and emotions are all over the place.

My husband was the last child to leave the nest in his family. He said most siblings are together because from the start they have to be, than slowly you find out who really wants to be around you and why. It made me think of all my father’s siblings who borrowed tools, money, etc. I also recalled the man who said how many relatives contacted him after he and his wife purchased a vacation home.

People stir the pot to get people out of their lives or get other people into their lives. They have agendas. It is sad what some are willing to overlook because they need something from someone. It is disgusting that they are willing to destroy someone they have no need of over something petty and ridiculous.

        • October 12, 2013 at 10:08 AM

Yes, exactly! In our family we’ve realized that for most people, funerals bring people closer together and mends rifts. In ours, they seem to bring us further apart. At least lately. I think that’s what irritates me so much about Caroline. No family is perfect so she needs to stop pretending and stop judging others.

        • October 12, 2013 at 9:10 PM

kayswhims – so SO true about when one parent dies, etc. etc. That happened in my mom’s family (sort of… slightly different circumstances), my dad’s family and is now in the process of happening in mine (mom’s gone… dad still here although he has dementia). My sister has an agenda made much easier with dad’s illness… very long story but bottom line is $. I don’t have the strength nor the will to fight. Funny thing is I actually consider myself the winner… I have a clear conscience… that’s priceless.

Regarding my mom’s family… it just hit me, she and her brother didn’t talk because of a wedge driven between them by my uncle’s wife, mom’s SIL! It’s been decades… didn’t think about it until it was just now brought up. It was actually a simple misunderstanding that my aunt perpetuated.

          Sad.

      • October 12, 2013 at 4:00 AM

RIGHT! Okay, I will be the first to admit that I was sad/jealous that my brother was no longer my big brother. The guy who always watched out for me. He now had a wife that would displace my role. It is so normal to have those feelings of loss. But in some cultures, the SIL needs to console the sister. Not to a ridiculous level, but just to make peace for being responsible for causing a shift in a family. Did my one time friend/SIL do that. NOPE, she talked me down and blamed me for weird shit. In reality, SILs are jealous as well. They have to compete with years of memories and bonds. It would be best for the Gorga siblings to live far away from each other. It would be best if Melissa and Joe never joined the show. Nothing was sacred for Teresa. This show was her work, her money. Her facade was a perfect family. Then her SIL and stupid brother go and fuck it up for her. They make her family seems more dysfuntional than the Sopranos. I am not surprised her books are not selling like before. Its not because people are tired of her, its because she can’t pull the perfect family, perfect life, perfect food deal anymore. My SIL did the same. She wanted to work at the same place I did and demanded higher pay then I got from my boss. She never got the job. You can take my brother, but don’t fu c k with my money. Too bad for Teresa, the desire to fame whore is so much stronger than the desire to work a regular nine to five. Her brother should have stayed off the show, let his sister either fly with success or go down in flames on her own terms. Who knew he and his wife would be there with a gasoline can in one hand and a torch in the other.

        • October 12, 2013 at 1:44 PM

My brother is the youngest in the family and the only son my parents had. He longed for a brother and I was only 2 years older than him. I quickly became a tomboy. We were climbing trees and fishing.

Several things happened when I met my first husband. My mother liked him, so my father and my brother had issues with this new guy in my life. It did not help matters that my mother would make comments, I wish ___ was like ___. A storm was brewing. My mother liked the way my husband treated me and disliked the way my brother’s wife treated him. One day my mother and my sister were talking and I spoke up and said I would not want to be a daughter in law in this family.

My brother married an only child who I thought would embrace me as a sister but I was in for a rude awakening. I now see things my mother and sister saw but I was in denial back then. I also can relate to the copycat thing. I don’t understand what triggers that. Things changed a bit when my husband was killed in a car accident. For a little while my brother was part of my life again. Eventually phone calls were not returned, nor emails, or snail mail. Things went back to the way they were.

          • October 12, 2013 at 2:36 PM

Totally tragic. You are really in Teresa’s shoes in real life. And the right thing is to have minimal contact to minimize drama. Not all join a reality show and manufacture more drama. I used to watch The Hills. I really thought it was real until the very end. The cast has come clean and said most of it is FAKE and staged. I think with the Real Housewives shows, pick someone you like and relate to, and don’t let it ruin your day. I relate to Teresa because I have an idiot SIL that blames me for the pimples on her face, for the dandruff in her hair, etc we now live on separate coasts!

Holy cannoli! I feel your pain; been through it with SIL #1 and second wife is worse than the first. And you’re right that the brother should know better. But for whatever reason, he chose her. In our case, I think my brother is miserable, but has an adorable child with this woman and is sucking it up for her. Best thing to do with toxic SIL is to limit your interactions with her. Maybe that’s why I am Team Teresa in this family feud.

Since they’ve shared recipes over the years, wonder if there will be duplicates in the cookbooks.

    • October 11, 2013 at 4:09 PM

Sister in laws do not share recipies. Kathy is a big fat liar. Do you think Teresa’s mother would ever giver her recipes to the people responsible for spawning Kathy and Rosie?

      • LookersMissesMelissa
        October 11, 2013 at 4:49 PM

Lolol oh come on some SIL’s share recipes! Mine and I do, although I gotta question Kathy bc her mom was cut off by Giacinto a LONG TIME AGO. Not sure how Kathy remembers when they shared recipes bc if they did it was likely well over 35-40 years ago.

        • October 11, 2013 at 6:53 PM

Excellent observation! How could they share recipes if they weren’t speaking? You guys are ace detectives.

        • October 12, 2013 at 9:13 PM

I’d love to know how they shared recipes when brother and sister weren’t even talking… of course I don’t know the timing but I agree with gess about Kathy being a big, fat liar.

My family has a pizzelle recipe, I don’t think if I saw a random picture of a pizzelle I would call it “my family’s cookie.” Kathy is such a bitch trying to disguise herself as sweet.

    • Patricia
      October 11, 2013 at 9:57 AM

On that particular “Digg” from Kathy about the pizzelle,, I don’t think there was a recipe for pizzelle in Tre’s cook book.. Tre was just showing an easy desert ( I think ice cream sandwiches) and said to purchase pizzelle’s in the store for that picture..

      • October 11, 2013 at 4:01 PM

LOL It was an ice cream sandwich and Teresa suggested using store bought pizzelle to save time! Kathy is a jealous asshat.

      October 11, 2013 at 12:20 PM

i totally understand what you’re saying, Jessie. When I was reading the blog and recalling Kathy’s little snide remarks about cookie recipes, I thought “since when is a cookie recipe NOT public domain”?

Sure there are proprietary recipes, but the majority of us can easily go to allrecipes.com and find a pizzelle recipe, chocolate chip recipe, any other bakery goodies that will be identical to ‘the mother’s recipe’.

By the way, just to show that my grandmothers recipe which is sacred to our family only because of the cherished memories and love we feel when we bake/eat it:

      1) Betty Crocker’s Sugar Cookies in a bag/pouch. Follow directions on back. Cut with favorite cookie cutter, bake. Cool. Then use Vanilla Frosting from Betty Crocker tinting with food coloring. Coat lightly.

Don’t laugh, but up until 3 years ago I thought my grandmother slaved in the kitchen for these terrific cookies. She’d send me bi-monthly a wonderful bakery box to college. I was popular probably only because of that, LOL!

Finally, her pièce de résistance: Nestle Chocolate Chip Cookies from back of bag-

Ha!Ha!Ha! You are so right wisconsheepgirl! I posted downthread MY pizzelle recipe before I started reading comments and also found one on allrecipe that is nearly identical. I’ve been making mine for about 37 years. Maybe I should contact allrecipes and tell them I want MY recipe back ; Yup, Kathy really does need to get a grip.

P.S. Those Nestle Chocolate Chip Cookies are THE best!!!! I’ve tried other recipes and always go back to that one. Yum!!!

Jeannie, you are so right! Kathy has been trying to hurt Teresa since she showed up. I think she’s jealous of Teresa. The recipes could mine, my mothers, my grandmothers! Is she kidding, especially since we are Italian they could be my great-grandmothers! A lot of my friends have the same recipes! I just hope she just goes away and takes Icky Richie with her.

    • October 12, 2013 at 9:22 PM

You have an excellent point there Jessie. Kathy is passive aggressive which was evident immediately… the first episode she was on… when the show became doomed.

I gotta tell you Fame. I was bored yesterday and started re-reading your first few blogs. I’ve forgotten how far back these go. Shocking then, to see that Tre is pictured with Johnny the Greek way back in 2012 on one of your first blogs. Then I started thinking about the rumors I heard that Johnny gave $5K to Teresa when she was the Celebrity Apprentice. When was that? Wasn’t that back in 2011 (when they starting filming Celebrity Apprentice)? If that is true, then it is clear that Tre knew of these people for YEARS. Is it possible that you found out through your sources that Tre IS behind all of these setups? It was startling to all of us here when you closed your blog down for a few days last month. We all wondered why. Does this have anything to do with it I wonder? This entire situation is fascinating to me. I stated on your last blog that it’s like living through an “I Spy” episode, trying to unravel all the clues. Anyhoo, just a thought. Makes you wonder.

I agree, it is jarring to see how this all started to unfold. Despicable.

    • October 11, 2013 at 9:14 AM

My understanding is that Teresa has known the Greeks since 2011 and was friends with them until February 2013 (see https://famewhorgas.wordpress.com/2013/02/19/the-giudices-and-gorgas-present-a-united-front-for-the-cameras-at-teresas-milania-launch-party/), when she chose to distance herself from them. I just added new photos to some of my older blogs and updated those blogs to clarify what I know without going into much detail (see the links marked with “here” in this blog). I learned some information earlier this year which I couldn’t wrap my head around at the time, but now that I have a few more pieces of the puzzle, I have a better understanding of events. I’m sure everything will come out eventually, when the parties involved are ready to reveal it.

I’m so tired of these games that they’re playing…why don’t they just come out with the truth. I’m at the point I don’t care about any new books…marital or cooking or desserts. We’ve been all taken for fools. When I saw the other night where Miss ACohen was videoing all the players getting ready for the union, they were laughing and joking…even Juicy joe was in a great mood. It was the video where TSIL said that she had to go pee. I think all the blogger sites are giving them too much attention (Thanks so much Fame for all your hard work). I think if we all walk away and don’t buy anything from them….then maybe they might appreciate the fans.

      • October 13, 2013 at 12:43 AM

I’m gonna pull a Joe Giudice and yell “WHO CARES??!!” who cares who Penny and her hubby are and more who cares who knew them at this point. EVERY CAST member has denied knowing them and every cast member lied. So WHO CARES?!! I really like Joe Giudice. He was a hottie in his youth and it seems he is the only one who understands this is all SCRIPTED and SITUATIONAL reality TV. Too bad the fed charges are not just for show. Just pick someone you like. Their hair, clothes, book, husband, dog, gay sibling, spoiled children, pick someone and enjoy the show. I hate my SIL who talked me into having her be my childs’ godmother and now she doesn’t even send my kid a card. My SIL has an agenda to see me sad. That is Melissa. She came on the show to burst the Giudice bubble. That’s why Teresa tells her brother to stick with family. With blood. Be good to your wife, but don’t your sister on cable TV! Penny and her husband are the nontelegenic and unpalatable side dishes that no one admits to liking. I notice Caroline is copying Joe Giudice’s “WHO CARES?!!” during the reunion. She is so unoriginal and unattractice that I’m sure Albert was ready to sleep with the horse whisperer before having get down with Caroline’s camel toe. Every time she cackles and shrieks with laughter, Albert has that look of pure and honest disgust. I’m on “Team other women” in this case. She knows about it and is too weak to walk alone.

      October 11, 2013 at 2:05 PM

Penny & Sheila Guidice are friends. A tweet of penny’s said something along the lines of “sick on valentines day & look what I got & then sheila guidice’s twitter handle & a picture of some goodies.

That yas ALWAYS throw me since I saw it. Not really sure what to believe.

That is the one thing left that draws me to this show, I would like to know if I was scammed more than I already figured out.

I’m not watching. Ever again, but I enjoy a few blogs still & follow a few on twitter. Rosie was the last from the dark aode but as soon as I remember, I’ll unfollow her also after her latest bs.

    Hello,
I have read this blog since day one and really admire you for going out all the way for Teresa.

However, I think there is some confusion here.

RealityRow a new blogger did a post thy uncovered that the Wakiles in fact did know who John and Penny were. Johhny going to rumor fix — I think he misunderstood the whole point of the post; the point was to confirm that Wakiles knew who they were.
By Kathy, Jacqueline and Melissa claiming that Teresa brought these people into their lives is what I assume what made Teresa retweet the post.
The site is called RealityRow(dot)com and I hope you can take a minute and have a look that will explain why tweets happened.
I am not Reality Row, I just want to put that out there.

    • October 11, 2013 at 8:57 AM

Oh, I agree, the Wakiles did know of the Greeks (they all knew of them, some more so than others), but they weren’t friends with them (but they are friends with the Greeks’ niece and nephew). I wrote that the blog implied the Wakiles were the ones to bring them on the show since that was the message people were taking from the blog. I’ve read the blog and I can see why some people became confused and thought it was saying the Wakiles brought the Greeks onto the show, but I think the point to the blog was to make it known that Kathy was lying when she said on camera, “Who are these people?” (or something like that).

I read that JTG’s hot dog place is very popular; was even shown on some food or travel channel. If that’s so, I would think that at least the people in this area of NJ would all know him or of him. And, donating money to CA was a good PR move not just because it was Teresa on the show.

Rutt’s Hut is an institution. The deep fried hot dogs are so tasty and they have a “relish” that is a bright yellow/green color and sits on the counter all day. A couple of the hot dogs slathered in the relish and a side of well done fries with gravy is pure heaven. The only thing better ( in terms of “bad” food) were the french fries at Palisades Amusement Park. I remember the smell so well

There is nothing wrong with Teresa’s desert line- she didn’t start with ONLY deserts book- she had books before and desert line seems like a logical continuation of her books. Good for Teresa in expanding the concept of delicious food. After four books of primarily non-desserts, it’s a logical expansion.

Kathy needed, desperately, her “hook,” which was desserts. It always seemed to my intuition, lame, inauthentic. And honestly, who the F would buy a cannoli “kit?” If someone is that invested in making his/her own cannolis, I feel they would rather do it from scratch.

    • Saddle_River_NJ
      October 11, 2013 at 2:01 PM

Making cannolis at home is like trying to make Chinese food. I remember trying to make Chinese from scratch. It was easy to get the weird ingredientses on Canal St in Chinatown. Kitchen ended up a mess, food was awful (and I’m considered a good cook), Threw the crap in the trash and ordered from Lee Garden. Likewise with cannoli – I’ll just stop by an Italian bakery. They taste better and when you take everything into consideration are cheaper.

Oh, no, really! Wow, I love to cook and am trying to slowly get better. I didn’t know that making yummy Chinese food from scratch is so fraught with problems! I absolutely hate it when I’m cooking, trying something new and salivating with my vision of enjoying it — and the results SUCK! 🙂

Like you, I live in NJ, and blessed with a bevy of extraordinary Italian gourmet stores and bakeries.

If you wish to try your hand at Chinese food at home, the best tool for you to be successful is to buy a cast iron wok. They are not expensive. Don’t bother with the fancy woks. Just season the cast iron pan as you would any of your other cast iron pieces and you will have a great meal. It seems that the key is cooking it VERY HOT. And frankly none of my other pans can hold heat like any cast iron. I love to use the cast iron wok to fry foods so it isn’t just a ‘one use’ tool.

Please consider only buying Lodge if I may say so. They make some gorgeous colored Dutch ovens for only $55 or so and again season it. Please also season the lid lip as well as the oven’s lip. Worth the investment and it’s American made.

I’ve been creating my collection of cast iron pans/pots for several years, and slowly am ditching my very expensive pots/pans. I will be keeping my cheap-o Teflon pan for omelets as nothing works better than that. Keep up the practice of cooking, Honnie Badger. You will do better every time. For me, I followed recipes to the “T” and then after than I make it ‘my’ way if I think tweeking it would be more successful. Nowadays, I cook extremely well, or burn it. No in between for me. 🙂

          Okay…on back to regular programming.

          • October 11, 2013 at 5:38 PM

I agree, the key is in the wok using high heat. Start with something easy like sweet and sour chicken or a stir fry.

Not a problem. There are a lot of Chinese elements as well as Indian in Jamaican food. The first thing I really learned how to make properly was fried rice. We own things like Dutch pots (cast iron) and woks that most people don’t have so I take them for granted. One of my favorite things in this world is hot sesame oil. Adds a kick to anything you’re doing. The sauces are the easy part because thank goodness they come in bottles at the supermarket.

HonnieBadge- I agree in that Kathy was desperately trying for her “hook.” It just seems as though she is trying to get as rich as possible with anything…so I guess why not copy T. To me Kathy has always been inauthentic. I can’t get over someone calling their aunt and uncle the names she did (remember coward and liar) and then act like…oh, their only words. If I were T, I would never forgive Kathy for what she called my parents.

MC, I completely agree. I didn’t care for her from the beginning because she was always insulting Teresa from the beginning, but calling her aunt and uncle those awful names, was a deal breaker for me. I wouldn’t have accepted her apology on air at the reunion, as Teresa did, and I wouldn’t have accepted it at all, ever. Besides, I don’t believe that she has ever apologized to her aunt and uncle-which any decent “old school” person would have done-immediately. POS move to say it in the first place, and then never to apologize to them, and then try to act like poor her, she made some harmless remarks and they are holding it against her-please! She is a very nasty person.

I have a friend who was born in Italy. She taught me how to roll pasta and make delicious Italian cookies. Anytime I have had people over and they complimented my cooking. She has never said they are my family’s recipes or anything like that (though I always point out that she taught me). We both love to cook and she has started making meatballs the way I do and was taught from my grandparents. They are not ” our” recipes. We were taught and we pass it on. Which is basically what a cookbook does!

I was lucky in that I learned from quite a few different people all of their specialties. I did end up with a very strange repertoire of “standard” recipes. Most of the food I cook is either Southern Italian, Mexican (Tabasco State), Trini or some mad combination thereof. Strange food indeed in a WASP household…

Hey guys, this is all completely random and my ADHD thought processes on the show:

I hate that everyone has to hate on T for everything! Good for her for standing up for herself now!
Kathy has to create a storyline for herself and all she has is T left her kid alone during a fight, during the christening (which her mil did that by trying to break up the fight).
The deserts: I am so not Italian but I was able to find recipes for the pizzelle
    http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/mario-batali/ginas-pizzelles-recipe/index.html
    http://allrecipes.com/recipe/pizzelles-iii/
    http://www.cuisinart.com/recipes/desserts/6085.html
Crap did Cuisinart, The people on allrecipes.com and Mario Batali, one of the most renowned Italian chefs in the WORLD whose restaurants deserve 5* but food critics don’t want to give Italian restaurants 5*s, still Kathy’s mommy’s recipe? Seriously Kathy get a grip!
Focus on your daughter going to college, your son looking at schools, your desert line without bashing people. Rosie – figure it out! I really liked you, you disappoint.
Everyone says they are showing T how it feels to be bashed, but they have been bashing her and now she is defending herself? Don’t like it? Get off the show. We have been begging you guys to peace out!
I bet Caroline would hate it if her family did to her what T’s family has done. So for Caroline to say it is fine for Mel to come on? Seriously you know the show drove a wedge in your family. Has anyone noticed the Jamie has not been on the show since his wedding? I wonder why that is. Have any of Dina’s siblings been on her HGTV show?

But really, my hubby and I will be taking a much needed extended vacation out to Orange County in a few weeks to take in some of my favorite restaurants, sights, and visit with some very dear friends. pecan pie was my moms favorite to make for all events… what I see many people do is skimp on the pecans. so you end up with just one layer of pecans on top with too much goooy filling never tasted as good as my moms that was jammed packed with pecans in every bite. 🙂 good luck with you T-day.. and I think she got the recipe off the Karole syrup bottle 🙂 🙂

Here’s another one for you Honnie Badger.

          http://www.bitofthebluegrass.com/2012/11/bourbon-pumpkin-pecan-pie.html

          Bourbon Pumpkin Pecan Pie

          1/2 Cup Butter
          1 Cup Sugar
          1 Cup Light Corn Syrup
          4 Large Eggs, beaten
          1 Small Can Pumpkin Puree
          2 tsp. Cinnamon
          1/4 tsp. Cloves
          1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
          1/4 Cup Bourbon *
          1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
          1/2 tsp. Salt
          1- 1 1/2 Cups Chopped Pecans
          Pastry for 9-inch pie

Place pastry into 9-inch deep dish pie plate. Sprinkle Pecans over bottom. Set aside. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Combine first 3 ingredients; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool for about 1/2 an hour, stirring occasionally.
In separate bowl mix eggs, pumpkin, spices, salt, vanilla, and bourbon. Whisk together until combined.
Add egg mixture to butter mixture. Whisking thoroughly to combine. Pour over pecans. Bake for 1 hour. Cool completely before cutting.

(p.s. add in 2 1/2 cups of pecans) Like Joe Gorga, I love nuts!!!!!

I love pecan pie! I don’t drink a lot but a friend of mine had a really rough year (his brother died the week before Christmas from an OD then we buried him on the day before his birthday 12/23) so we had them over for Christmas and they love my pecan pie and wanted me to make it – problem he and I got a lot drunk so I followed the recipe on the Karole bottle and like Patricia said I added more pecans and it was great! It was the first time I did drunk baking since college and they loved it! Including the hubby and now that is all they ask for! Follow the Karole bottle add more pecans and its heaven! For an added bonus add some ganache (spelling?) chocolate icing on the bottom of the pie shell. If you are interested I can give you a recipe for pecan tarts….the are freaking delicious and they are my MIL’s recipe. A little more difficult but sooooo worth it!

just a memory to share about holidays and family gatherings bringing dishes.. You never wanted to end up with the food dish no one wanted when the gathering was over.. So it was pretty much tradition for all the parents to make the kids go eat those dishes down telling us it was the polite thing to do for our Aunts or Cousins who made them. Only problem with that is , finding their dishes almost empty they always thought everyone liked them and KEPT making the nasty things to bring to the next get together.. lol lol …. looking back at the ordeal, will always be glad we did it for them…

This reminds me of my FIL who nicknamed me Peanut. He made potato pancakes and I ate them. He continued to make them throughout the years before he died. No one else would eat them. He is probably smiling in heaven knowing I sat there and ate his pancakes with him even though I did not enjoy them lol

Find a pecan tree. Seriously. They grow plentiful near my hometown in the South and we’d pick our own from the ground. Otherwise it makes it nearly cost prohibitive due to the ridiculous prices they charge for pecans. I nearly fainted when I saw it was nearly $9/lb.

And I agree with everything Patricia says. She’s right on.

My friends and family love this Caramel Pecan Pie. When I first baked these pies I got flack for messing with Thanksgiving tradition, now they are expected or it just isn’t Thanksgiving lol

one 9 inch unbaked pie crust
36 caramels (we like Kraft best)
      1/4 cup butter
      1/4 cup milk
      3/4 cup sugar
      3 eggs
      1/2 teaspoon vanilla
      1/4 teaspoon salt
      1 cup Pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In saucepan over low heat, combine caramels, butter and milk, cook, stirring frequently, until smooth. Remove from heat and set aside. In a large bowl, combine sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt. Gradually mix in melted caramel mixture. Stir in pecans. Pour filling into unbaked pie crust. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown. Allow to cool until filling is firm.

MY Pizzelles – this recipe was given to me from my husband’s cousin 37 years ago. I make them every Christmas – they are a must. I am just listing the ingredients, which makes approximately 2 dozen pizzelles:

    3 eggs
    3/4 cup sugar
    3/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 to 2 cups flour (depending on crispy or cake-like)
    1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons vanilla extract or anise extract (I have to make at least two batches as some do not like the anise taste!)

Here are the ingredients for Pizzelles, Recipe III (2 dozen), from Allrecipes.com that I just pulled up today:

    3 eggs
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup butter, melted
    1 3/4 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 tablespoon vanilla extract

It would appear that the recipe for Pizzelles varies very little. How ridiculous and petty Kathy is.

    Fame

From my sources, It was Penny and Johnny who went to Kim D’s store and started to talk about Melissa’s past. KIm D contacted the producers. It was the producers who wanted this storyline and the Greeks jumped on the bandwagon because they thought Penny would be given a contract.

I heard Johnny’s niece was seen on RHONJ at Victoria’s birthday party.

    • kitty

I’ve always believed that the Greeks went to Kim D who then got the ball rolling. Makes perfect sense to me.

Jersey Sounds like your sources know what their talking about. IMO Kim D loves to help with any shit starting.

    • Sackem
      October 11, 2013 at 5:59 PM

Yup, this sounds true to me to! Kim D is the weakest link to get in, Teresa might be a bit slow but she ain’t clueless!

    • October 11, 2013 at 7:17 PM

My source tells me differently, Jersey. I believe my source, who has been right about everything shared with me while season 5 was taping. I didn’t ask, but it is highly probable that Kim D was the one to first introduce Teresa to Penny and John Karagiorgis.

The Greeks have been protecting Teresa since September 2011, which is the whole reason for the following two back-to-back tweets from Pete Giudice and JohnnyTheGrk (both JTG and Pete were trying to make sure that only Kim D was blamed for strippergate, which was taped on September 27, 2011 and premiered a year later, on September 23, 2012 as the S4 finale):

“I want to make this clear. Me and my family including Teresa and Joe have no relations with Johnny and Penny Karagious we are not friends.” – Pete Giudice @PeteGiudice, September 18, 2012, Twitter

“For the RECORD & TO BE CLEAR: @Teresa_Giudice in no way, shape, or form knew about Angelo being at the Posche Fashion Show!!! #FACT #TRUTH” – John Karagiorgis ‏@JohnnyTheGrk, September 20, 2012, Twitter

      greeks 14 b

      greeks 28

      greeks 27

      greeks 21

The following is a comment and reply from one of my older blogs (now marked “private”), which I recently ran across when searching for comments about how Penny’s landlord locked her out of her salon and illegally ran it as his own for two months so he could capitalize on the exposure it received as a result of being featured in the S4 finale (Jersey, I remember that you kept commenting that Penny was locked out because she didn’t pay rent, but that was a lie, which tells me your source has an agenda to mislead people about the Greeks – click here to see may comment about Le Chateau Allure, which reopened in its new location in September 2013).

gessiewtf said on January 1, 2013 at 11:12 AM at FW:

Pete Guidice made it very clear that Johnny the greek and his wife were not in fact friends with the Guidices. In fact at the fashion show, which was heavily edited to have the outcome that Bravo wanted (which was to make Teresa look guilty), he said that was the first time Teresa met them. I think Penny is just a fan of justice and cannot bear to see this sweet innocent Melissa on screen when she knows otherwise.

Greek Chick said on 2013/01/01 at 12:48 PM in reply to gessiewtf at FW:

Pete came out and said that because he was lied to by someone he thinks he can trust, but it turned out that same person was heavily involved in gossip on twitter and creating drama. Pete was angry and said things because he thought he was protecting Teresa. In the end, it came out that Teresa met Johnny and Penny well before the PFS. In fact, Johnny set up the PFS pre-party at his friend’s club a week prior. In fact, Johnny, Penny, Teresa, and Kim were sitting on stage, same table, front and center with other friends around them. They were drinking, dancing, and taking pics together all night. That’s not all – if they weren’t friends, why did they all go to Disney show together with their families? Exactly.

The truth on 10/07/2013 at 7:58pm said on RealityRow:

Tre convinced Penny that if she took Melissa down, “she would definitely become a housewife”. What boggles my mind is how Tre can try to keep denying the fact that she set this whole thing up. Kim D knew the info, ran to her loser puppetmaster Tre… And Tre liked what she heard. And that is the facts. If you want more, I know all the rest, trust me. You will be hearing more shortly.

Tre and her servant Kim D are the reason this ALL happened. Tre can’t get over the fact her sister in law is on “her show”.

Teresa was introduced to Penny and Johnny through Kim D. Teresa and Johnny used to sit on the phone together and BS. It’s because of Tre that Johnny went so hard on twitter. She loved that she had Johnny ripping everyone. Trust me, I get it and you will too. Stay tuned.

Penny was under the impression from Tre that the result of this would be exposure for her salon and a spot as a housewife. There is proof. I have seen the messages for myself.

We know for a fact that Teresa has known the Greeks since at least September 2011, when Kim D and Teresa went to Penny’s salon to get their makeup done before the Posche Fashion Show season 4 finale, and it is clear in the video below that there are secret dealings that she wants to keep hidden:

looking back at stripper gate finale Tre’s BFF told TB as he was going towards JTG “it’s not real, relax” TB replied “I know”.. • October 13, 2013 at 12:28 AM

So, Tre has known the Greeks for 2 years. I think Tre, the Gorga’s and Wakile’s are all behind this made up drama. In a way, I’m glad because maybe then the Gorga Sr. family isn’t in shamble’s. My heart always felt bad for Giacinto and Antonia Gorga for the way their son behaved on TV. If Tre is in on the set up maybe the Gorga Sr.’s see this as a way for their kids to provide for their families. Their kind of like actors/actress’s in a sitcom. Except this is the newer, cheaper version of a sitcom? I don’t like to be made a fool of and I will probably stop watching reality TV show’s from now on. Every since I was little I always heard, “TV will rot your brain!” I guess Andy is making sure of that!

Didn’t Kathy’s own Mother shut her down (or in my slurred Ramona Singer voice>”shudder down” *hiccuup*) when she went after Teresa on the whole “child unattended” BS? Or maybe it was another time…but I think I remember the Mom saying something like “Shush, this is family.” Unless it was T or Juicy’s Mom. In any case, Kathy has attempted to be an A#1 Stealth Bitch from the get-go, and I’ve never fallen for it. She actually has always 0000ooooozed with jealousy from the get-go and has proven herself to be an older version of the treacherous Famewhorga’s/Missyjo. Kathy’s recipe is a whole cup of PASSIVE with the pinches of her AGGRESSIVE. What-evs. *waving at Kathy and lmao* Kathy you’re what is known on another reality show as a NON-MFF. 🙂 (irrelevant) Your endeavors, including defending and promoting your pig of a husband, overpriced cannoli kits, fake support of your lesbian sister and your attempt to damage Teresa’s reputation and product lines are all EPIC FAILS. Too bad/how sad/Buh-Bye. 🙂

The Rosie tweet that says she got to spend the evening with family/go scratch is revealing imo. Is that unusual for you Rosemarie? Are you afraid when the approximately 2 and 1/2 minutes you have left on the 15 minutes of “novelty drunk lesbian” time clock runs out, there won’t be evenings with the fam? Cuz if you do suspect that, I find myself agreeing with you and think you’re smarter than I thought! lol If you do have any degree of intelligence, which I doubt, you should be tweeting that you spent the evening drinking and making sausage with Juicy Joe. Your segments with him are the ONLY reason the general viewing audience likes you at ALL. Most general viewers were/are repulsed by your drunken outbursts and sexual displays with Joe Gorga/Rich Wakile. (You heard it here first! lol)

I went to school with Rosie, she was an obnoxious fat bitch then, she is an obnoxious fat drunken bitch now. If she didn’t like you she bullied the shit out of you, she was the loud obnoxious asshole in the classrooms. Always had something to say, she was very mean to so many people. She ran with this Italian group of friends, still does from what I understand. Pretty sad at 45-46 years of age she lives with Mommy, no love life, no relationship except with a scotch bottle. Not surprised Rosie, want to know why? Because you were a shithead to many and now you get to reap what you sew. Piss off.

I tried to post from some where else but it didn’t get thru. I’m just totally disgusted with this whole show. I just know we are being played for fools. When I was watching the video Miss ACohen was taking of the “players” while they were getting “ready” for the union, I was really taken back by the joking and kidding around of the cast of “actors”….even Juicy Joe. It was the video when TSIL had to go to the bathroom. They all looked like they never had any issues whats so ever. I believe if all the blogger sites stopped writing about them. and we all stop buying their books and products….then maybe they might appreciate their fans. I truly want to thank Fame for all the hard work that she has put forth. I enjoyed all her posts but I think she and all of us have been had. I’m glad that this season is almost over. It really started to bother me about this show when Tre and Joe had court issues and then all these other people supposedly know the truth about Sushi, lookers dancer and haven’t come forward . I got such a bad taste in my mouth about everything….Sorry about ranting!!!!

Thank you so much for posting this Fame. I’m so glad that Teresa is adding a dessert line to her business. I have noticed that all her products are produced and exported from Italy (hint, hint).

Kathy really needs to take a step back and get a clue. Even Rich-chum whom I don’t like either had a good idea or Bravo had a good idea to rent the commercial Kitchen. If she was at all serious about this venture she would have loved it. In New Jersey they have some stiff laws against selling baked goods from your home. While I’m still stuck on the electric stove they had there, a residential stove would be obsolete in that setting. It just goes to show that Bravo thinks that we are all stupid, crazed Teresa fans that cant think for ourselves and will believe anything they show us.

My advice to you Kathy is to go back to school and develop a business plan. You just cant think, because you are a HW on t.v., that you can go to a company and say, Hi my name is Kathy I make cannolis, now make me millions while I sit on my ass,NOT!!!

Teresa worked hard to make her brand what it is today. A bakery business is hard work, eyelashes and makeup don’t do well in heat, by the way my instructor would have given you 30 lashes for touching your hair with a gloved hand and serving food. So in a sense, your canollis were not edible.

On a lighter note, I’m so happy everyone is sharing recipes, copying and pasting as a read the posts.lol. I wanted to give you guys one too. It is by my fave Pastry Chef Gretchen Price of Woodland Bakery in New Jersey. She has countless you tube videos under “Crumb Boss”. I use the Swiss buttercream exclusively and it is very easy to make. Love, love, love her.

    Crumb Boss Icing Recipe

Fresh Large Egg Whites 6 Large
    White Sugar 12oz (1 1/2 cups)
    Confectioners Sugar 8oz (2cups)
    Shortening 6oz (3/4 cup)
    Butter 1lb (2cups)
    Vanilla Extract 1T

**I forgot to add the vanilla extract in the video. You simply add it last.
***THIS RECIPE CAN BE STORED 4 days room temp, 2 weeks fridge, 2 months freezer
**its fine to store it in the fridge/freeze, but just know that you will now have to bring it back to room temperature. Take it out HOURS before you need it, and let it get to room temp, then you will put it back on the mixer and with the PADDLE attachment on low- medium and let it mix, it will look as if it is BROKEN, and curdled, don’t be alarmed this is NATURAL, it will come back together eventually, you can turn the speed up to med-high and it will mix out smooth

Add milk instead of water and any recipe, box or from scratch will make your cakes amazing. I have been doing this since high school. Anyone who eats my cakes always want the recipe, and it is box mix. Milk makes a big difference

Sure I do, and Virture is wonderful, she had another MRI/EKG and the seizures are not in the the middle and back of her brain anymore just small activity in the frontal lobe. She makes these little sweet sounds like a dove and makes my heart melt with her slightly crooked smile, I think she is an Angel.

This is called a 1-2-3-4 cake, it is one of my favorites.

        Ingredients
o 1 cup butter, at room temperature
        o 2 cups sugar
        o 3 cups sifted self-rising flour
        o 4 eggs
        o 1 cup milk
o 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
        Directions
        1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
        2. Grease and flour 3 (9-inch) cake pans,.
        3. Using an electric mixer, cream butter until fluffy.
        4. Add sugar and continue to cream well for 6 to 8 minutes.
        5. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
        6. Add flour and milk alternately to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
        7. Add vanilla and continue to beat until just mixed.
        8. Divide batter equally among prepared pans.
        9. Level batter in each pan by holding pan 3 or 4 inches above counter, then dropping it flat onto counter.
        10. Do this several times to release air bubbles and assure you of a more level cake.
Page 2 of 21-2-3-4 Cake (cont.)
        Directions
        11. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
        12. Cool in pans 5 to 10 minutes.
        13. Invert cakes onto cooling racks.
        14. Cool completely and spread cake layers with your favorite frosting to make a 3-layer cake.

Its pretty easy to make and I think you will like the results.

I am going to copy black enga and share a recipe: This is for my sweet potato casserole ( a lot are out there now but I have been making it since I a teen)
    6 sweet potato’s bake them
peel them and put them in your mixer
    1 can of sweetened condensed
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup of flour
    1 stick of butter
mix them up in your mixer until smooth
1 cup of sugar (I use splenda or brown sugar)
Cinnamon (add what you like, I tend to add a tablespoon and a half)
    nutmeg (1/2 tbsp)
Taste to make sure you like how it tastes you can add more of the sugar cinnamon or nutmeg.
Bake at 350 for an hour

    For the topping
1 stick of room temp butter
    1 cup of flour
1 cup brown sugar (or splenda)
Make this into a crumble (you may need to add more four)
    Add chopped pecans
Add the crumble to the top of the casserole and put back in the oven for 15-20 mins.

You can make this in advance and toss in your freezer to use at the date needed

Next time you do turkey spend the extra 20 and get a butterball then (go ahead to Sams or costco ) and get one of those beverage coolers put the turkey in the big black garbage bags and brine it with salt and water. Then when you are about to cook it inject creole seasoning into it….girl I have never liked turkey but when we did that I found out why people love turkey! I found it so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the words of Owen Wilson, OOOOwwwww Weee, I gar-unn-tee but that sure is good! haaaaa haaa ha, love his recipes. I have seen those injectors at the store, I will have to invest in one and try it your way too. Thank You!

Once you have deep fried turkey you’ll never go back! It’s expensive (peanut oil) and messy to clean up, but good.

Hubby used to smoke Turkeys for T-day and then got a fryer about 15 years ago. That year we made two turkeys, one smoked and one fried. When hubby brought the fried one in it looked disgusting. He carved it anyway and we all sampled out of courtesy, OMG it was awesome. So tender and juicy! We used the leftover smoked turkey for leftovers and now it’s a requirement in my family for a fried turkey.

            • October 11, 2013 at 7:41 PM

I have a cute and funny story to share about deep fried turkeys, it’s all true, I was there.
Ok, my friend was throwing a retirement party for one of our co-workers and he bragged and bragged about his “deep fried turkeys” so when the time was getting close to open the fryer for his bragging rights, “someone” took the turkey out and replaced it with a Cornish hen. Everyone was in on the joke except the “turkey bragger” so when he opened the fryer for the presentation of the bird and all that was left was this tiny little bird, well use your imagination, but it was the best retirement party for the rest of us……I still laugh about this. Please feel free to pull this joke on anyone that “brags about his/her deep fried birds. *.*

              • October 11, 2013 at 8:13 PM

Let me add……picture the above story and put TRHONJ cast members in the acting roles and I bet we got us some laughs. where and who would all of you place(cast members) in this turkey story….Thanks Goodness it Friday friends, it been a long week. *.* I say TB is the turkey fryer and TSIL blames it on Teresa. Hey, I am from Louisiana and I cannot believe I have never had a fried hot dog. lol We love our fried turkey.

Jules the oil can be frozen and kept for a year. We strain the oil and place it in plastic containers. I use plastic milk containers (however it is recommended one use a dark plastic container) and have never had a problem. You can use various sizes depending on your frying needs. We have a regular fryer, a Fry Baby and a Fry Daddy. Some years we freeze in just gallon containers and reuse the oil for a Christmas turkey.

I’ve never had a fried dog either … hmmm.

I know on the oil moma … but hubby doesn’t like draining and storing it. I certainly am not going to do it.

Last year we bought an infared fryer. We tried it and it’s better than smoked or cooked but not as good as real fried.

We talked tonight and he’s frying fir Tday — he refuses to carve . I think that’s fair.

As long as we are sharing recipes, I’ll pass on a very old family one. It was a close kept secret for many years. Old Uncle Jim would prepare his special sauce for barbequed chicken behind closed doors. Nobody was allowed in while he was mixing it up. Memorial Day and July 4th were anticipated for weeks beforehand thinking about his amazing chicken. He was an old North Carolina gentleman who had shocked his family years before by marrying an exotic latina. To add to the “scandal” he later divorced her before marrying my aunt. But I digress. After many years pleading for the “secret” recipe, I learned the truth. It was a 50/50 mix of Jim Beam and Kraft Barbecue sauce. And the bit about behind closed doors was so that he could enjoy a good part of that bottle before the rest went to the sauce. It actually is an amazingly good marinade and sauce for chicken and beef…

I love your uncle. How funny is that? It reminds me of my Pappaw, who I had the wonderful privilege to be raised by and his bbq ‘recipe’. He often purchased pork steaks, and would put Coca-Cola in a spray bottle and spray in frequent intervals. Then at last 5-8 minutes would put in the St. Louis bbq sauce, “Maull’s”. Delish!

I recall coming home from my post doc studies, and he’d be working on the grill for the special bbq just for me. I still have my Pappaw, he’s nearing 90 has a form of dementia but luckily God has allowed him to be able to eat, shower, walk with very little to no assistance. It’s just that his memory sucks! LOL. When I visit now, he often asks me “What are you doing with your life?” I tell him, “I work with parasites, Pappaw” His most common question is: “Are you happy, my child?” To me, that speaks volumes of the man he is. His core self is deep and abiding kindness. Thanks for letting me go down memory lane. It has been a pleasure.

I wouldn’t eat anything prepared by kathy Wakile. I am grossed out by the size of her nostrils. It makes me thing she stores things in there, like a squirrel. Combine that with the fact that she is swapping spit with the incredibly repulsive Ritchie Wakile, and it turns my stomach. I’d rather eat lead paint from China than one of Katfish’s Connolis.

    • October 11, 2013 at 5:51 PM

Shaunie O’Neal would totally gross you out then! I’m very weird about eating what other people cook unless I know them and their habits really well. If someone has pets, I have to see if they wash their hands after petting them before cooking or if they let their pets eat off the same plates. Long fingernails are a definite no. Kathy looks like her hair falls in everything she makes. I have no basis for this. It just seems likely.

    • October 11, 2013 at 8:32 PM

Remember when she was doing the presentation at the candy shop in NYC (the episode when Rich “accidentally” knocked over the cards in the kitchen and the sign fell over – they had a pretend fight and Kathy lost her voice; all the castmates were “late” – so scripted). . . anyway, Kathy had on plastic gloves because she was handling food and continued to brush her hair away from her face. So much for gloves, proper hygiene or quality control. Hair in cannoli cream – yuck!!!

      • October 11, 2013 at 8:49 PM

I agree, a hairnet should be required…..on her eyelashes too*.*

If we’re trading recipes try this one. It’s an Aussie Classic which like a lot of things Australian, we argue with our New Zeland neighbours over who really owns it (for example Russell Crowe). Unfortunately, I do believe it originated across the ditch but you’re not an Aussie unless you’ve tried a good old Pavlova, just ask Dame Edna.

I’ve linked to another Aussie website, Donna Hay. She’s like a modern day Julia Child for us except in print (she does magazines and cookbooks but has recently gone into home wares).

I’ll give you another one for Lamingtons as well -a true blue, school fate, delicacy!

    https://www.donnahay.com.au/recipes/desserts-and-baking/lamingtons

Oh and how could I forget our wartime ANZAC Biscuits???? During WW1, I believe, women would bake these biscuits for the soilders. Now ever ANZAC Day, we bake them and don a sprig of Rosmary in rememberance, like the Poppy on Rememberance Day which we share with the Brits.

Oh wow, I didn’t know it was Australia specific. Wikipedia likens it to a pale treacle http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_syrup

One of the main products of Far North Queensland (FNQ) is sugar cane so I guess it’s like a byproduct … I have it on toast like honey but it’s thicker than honey and amber in colour.

Do you guys do coconut ice? WARNING: Don’t give it to children, it’s almost pure sugar!!!!!!

Embee, I’ve found it in some grocery stores here in the U.S. in the British part of the international foods section. You can buy it through Amazon too if you can’t find it locally. There are equivalents too like equal portions dark and light corn syrup. If you do a google search you’ll find options.

Last season or the one before, during the lost footage episode, there was a scene of Teresa walking down a street and passing a bookstore. But she didn’t walk by the bookstore, she stopped, went in, looked for her cookbook, and when she didn’t find it there, introduced herself, and asked the clerk about it.

I wondered how many other bookstores she checked. It impressed me because it showed “hustle”. It showed Teresa going the extra mile. I wonder how many bookstores Caroline or Melissa walked into and checked to see if their books were there. I would guess none. Kathy is the same way – no hustle. Everyone else can do the work for them.

Teresa’s products are good, there is no doubt about that, and she has a fan base that the other 3 do not – but the fact that she’s out there walking into bookstores to check to see if her book is there…stayed with me and frankly, totally won me over.

That made my day when she said, I am a hustler, and the part about bloggers(Caroline and Andy). they acted like they had no idea what she was talking about. That solidified my belief that they all read this blog. If you tuned into to the reunion part I, a few of the cast (Melissa and Joe),told the truth about what we all know as fact and then took it back like it was a joke for the people who don’t keep up with whats going on on-line. It’s almost felt like they were toying with us.

Melissa said to Andy, yeah, I am a cheater and a stripper and then acted like it was a joke. She also didn’t lie about not getting full price for the house. I guess she knows it will become public knowledge so why lie. i am still shocked that Andy asked her die she get the full asking price. Caroline said that anyone who believed that a man doesn’t cheat is a fool, then Andy asked Teresa if she believes Joe cheated, she said no. This guy is a piece of work.

          October 12, 2013 at 8:46 PM

Didn’t you just love the fact that he only asked Teresa that question about Joe cheating? Why didn’t he ask the others, especially why didn’t he ask TB if he believes that TSIL cheated on him, since there has been so much “noise” about it? Since Kathy has been married quite awhile, why didn’t he ask her if she she thought like Caroline did, and think it would be naive of her not to believe that Rich hadn’t cheated on her in over 20 years of being together? Why ask only Teresa–just to humiliate her and to rub it in? We all know he does that kind of thing to Teresa all the time, especially at the reunions (brings up her financial and legal issues, but not the others). Why not ask TB about his wife cheating, when there has been even more “noise” about her, than Joe Giudice, with even the exes speaking out on Twitter. At least with Joe Giudice, there haven’t been exes out there, like there has been TSIL, nor a good friend making the accusation. Sick of the double standards when it comes to the Giudices.. and Cohen wonders why people ask him “why he hates the Giudices”.

Amen!, I think I am going to have to get drunk to watch part II of the reunion. Like a moth to a flame, I just want to know how far he is going to push her. I don’t think its about rating either but a personal agenda to humiliate her while the others just watch and seem glad that it’s not them. Sick animals all of them, even if it is an act they seem to enjoy it too much.

How uninformed is Rosie. The Federal Courts make mistakes in Louisiana all of the time, very BIG mistakes. What people fail to realize, Federal Judges and prosecutors are appointed, not elected. In many instances they are not the best nor the brightest, they are the ones most politically connected at the time. Many times they fall for the pressure they are put under to obtain an indictment. Many times for frivolous reasons.

        • October 11, 2013 at 11:45 PM

Lol! I agree with momajackie though. I finally read the charges today and it is not the grand scheme everyone’s been making it out to be. It’s pretty common for one thing. Never wise to lie to the IRS and yet millions do it every day. It’s the way they word the charges that have people freaking out, I think. “Conspiracy to commit fraud via interstate postal service” or whatever (I’m paraphrasing), is really, “I sent this by mail instead of hand delivering it”. Legalese frightens people. I personally don’t think anyone’s going to jail but that’s just an opinion. I don’t practice law but I have my law degree so whenever I want results, I sign emails and letters with “Esquire” at the end. Works every time.

          • October 11, 2013 at 11:54 PM

The bottom line is, the feds want money from the Giudices, and if they can pay up then maybe the sentences won’t be so harsh. The Giudices never should have filed bankruptcy (that was in 2009, during the taping of season 2) because that is what brought them to the attention of the feds. They allegedly failed to disclose Teresa’s income from internet sales of her Fabulicious brand, her cookbook advance of $250,000, her Bravo salary for 2009 ($110,000), income from rental properties, and other businesses. They were underwater on investment properties and it looks like they wanted to start fresh without using Teresa’s anticipated windfall (from her Bravo salary increases and bonuses, product sales, cookbook sales, and product endorsements) to pay down their debt. They got greedy. It seems the others in the original cast were angry with the Giudices for filing bankruptcy, fearing it would lead the feds to them as well (and it may have, or perhaps they all worked out deals by cooperating with the feds in investigating the Giudices).

            • October 12, 2013 at 1:28 AM

I agree. It’s irritating to see Teresa haters talking about 50 years in prison when it’s not very likely. They’re also making them out to be criminals (I know they broke the law but this isn’t some Madoff ponzi scheme) and people are acting like this is a murder rap. Jacqueline and Chris Laurita are in a worse situation and no one ever mentions it. Don’t get me started on the Manzos.

I always liked Teresa but I liked all of them when the show first started. I have no favorite housewife. I feel like I’ve kind of been backed into the role of defending her because I just hate to see people unfairly attacked. For her and her husband to be portrayed as being dirty when their hands are cleaner than the rest of the cast’s is just wrong.

              • October 13, 2013 at 1:07 AM

I would guess the Catholic religion and family opinions, plus love of course, probably made them decide not to go that route. I’d read that Nene’s divorce was a fake out but I thought they never actually went through with it. This makes way more sense.

I guess if they did that they wouldn’t be asked to be on talk shows or announce whatever at a music award show! The Gorga’s and Wakile’s are pathetic people. Low down scum is more like it. I’m glad I’m not related to them!

      • October 11, 2013 at 11:12 PM

        • October 12, 2013 at 8:45 AM

The Gorga’s and Wakile’s are the families from hell! There the families you don’t want to be related to! I have trouble with my younger sister but I’ll take her over TB, TSIL, Kathy, Rosie, Richie and Victoria, anyday!

      • October 12, 2013 at 8:54 AM

One of Teresa’s cousins is a chef. I hope he does not act like his sisters. Kathy mentioned before about her brothers being there during filming, but they were not filmed.

Kathy find’s her voice when it is time to bash Teresa. I think she is a coward who has Rosie to call on when she needs to attack people, much like TSIL uses TB. Kathy hangs out with the Marcos who bashed a man dealing with a brain tumor, an issue “very close to the Wakiles heart” because of what Victoria went through. She may have found her voice, but her words are empty to me.

When I think of Kathy Wakile, I think of a woman who squawked about wanting a piece of the pie. Teresa is working on her dream, Kathy is not entitled to part of it just because they are related. Kathy is responsible for making her dream happen.

Kathy’s attitude is that she is smart and can think for herself and make decisions without help, yet she moans about all the stuff she has to do alone. That is annoying. Teresa is very good at what she does. She earned a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management. She knows about buying and selling. She has a twitter pic of an old friend from the time she worked at Macy’s.

I think Kathy and TSIL have been jealous of Teresa for a long time. They both made comments as if Teresa is withholding something of theirs they should have somehow. Kathy should have had more pie, and TSIL could have made more money if Teresa worked with her. Teresa also has support from her husband which Kathy does not have. TSIL might have TB’s support but she is involved in things she is not good at.

    • LifeIsGood
      October 12, 2013 at 8:28 AM

Spot on, Kay. I think part of their anger stems from their perception of Teresa. They mistake her difficulty in articulating for a lack of intelligence. When Teresa found success, they were in the position of watching someone “beneath” them (and therefore less deserving) surpass them.

They can’t accept that she was ever capable of building a successful business, so therefore she must have done it by cheating and tearing down other people. The flaky sidekick was never supposed to be the one to make it – problem is she did just that.

It cracks me up when Caroline and Jacqueline hint that they were planning a cookbook and Teresa went behind their back and beat them to the punch. I would advise them to go to Barnes and Noble’s cookbook section. Then they might realize that there are a lot of Italian cookbooks! If you write a good cookbook, people will buy it. They won’t care if another housewife wrote a similar book. I own many, many cookbooks.

Teresa decided to follow through not knowing if she would fall flat on her face. That’s what successful people do. If she does go to prison for awhile, I have no doubt she will get up, dust herself off and rebuild. If the others would just swallow their pride for a moment, they could learn a lot from Teresa.

    • October 12, 2013 at 9:01 AM

Great comment, Kay! I agree with everything you pointed out! This is the Gorga’s and Wakile’s third season on the show! Neither family has achieved what Tre did by the time she started her third season! Tre was on Celebrity Apprentice and made the NYTime’s Bestseller list! Both, TSIL and Kathy are bewildered, I guess, that Tre is more successful than they will ever be! Right now, I doubt both of their “brands” will ever be as successful as Tre’s is!

      October 12, 2013 at 6:46 PM

Kathy is a passive aggressive wretched beast. She is no quiet good guy like she tries to portray herself. She does have a lack of self esteem but she has incredible anger and jealousy that comes out at times. She came on the show to hurt her cousin and to be famous to feed her ego. She is a horrible mother, yes I said it. Allowing rich to say those things to Victoria’s friends is horrible. Spending the little cash she has on cars she can’t afford and plastic surgery she can’t afford and then being unable to send her daughter to a 4 year college is criminal in my book. They bragged how brilliant this kid was and embarrassed themselves when touring the univ. Of Md. Acting like the uneducated hillbillies they are, they tried to act better than everyone by complaining that the dorms were too small and Victoria could never live in such a place. Pure white trash trying to show off and instead showing the world they have never been inside a college. So they spend their money on things to make them look wealthy and their kid attends a community college. Nothing wrong with that but only trash would take money and get a nose job and a Mercedes instead of a decent college for your kid. If the rumors are true an she is gone, I am sooooooo happy. Next should be Melissa because karma is a bitch!

      • October 12, 2013 at 11:36 PM

Good post! Very informative! You hit it when you said the Wakile’s are “trying to show off”. Richie has let his wife’s celebrity go to his head! The way he pops his collar up on his polo shirts turn me off when he first appeared on camera! I’ve noticed that Victoria come’s across as a snotty lil’ girl like Ashlee and Laureen have. It’s a turn off and it says a lot about the parents of these young adult’s on reality shows. I did like Danielle’s daughter’s because they seemed more grounded and did seem “shy” when the camera’s were around. Versus Laureen and her mean girl comments about other little kid’s is just disgusting. Victoria lost all my respect at her birthday party when she referred to her cousin, Teresa, as “that woman”! It was Victoria’s mother who disrespected Teresa’s parents on international TV and Victoria felt she had the right to talk so crappy about Teresa? They need to thank Tre for singing up with RHONJ in the first season and flipping a table. Otherwise, she might not be able to attend the community college she’s at!

      • Miss Alicat
        October 13, 2013 at 7:00 AM

if Victoria was so smart she would have gotten scholarships and been offered work/study to go where she wanted to go. Community college says to me that she didn’t get accepted at any of the 4 year colleges she applied to and is trying to earn credits to be able to transfer…at least that’s what that meant in my day.

          October 13, 2013 at 1:11 PM

A lot of young people are going to community college for the first two years and then transfer to a University or Private college. Young Italian men and women in my area are doing that and the parents can well afford to send them out of state if they wish. I think they want to make sure that the students know what they want to do in their future. I had told my children that I wanted them to go somewhere out of state and be no more than two hours away. I wanted them to get the experience of being away from home.

    • October 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM

The first two seasons, I didn’t like Teresa at all. I began to warm up to her on Celebrity Apprentice. She was not at all what I expected. I began to pay more attention to her, and like you, I was impressed with her work ethic. Then the pile up.

And now I am a huge fan!

      • October 12, 2013 at 8:36 PM

It sucks you in, right?! Before all this, none of these shows mattered to me. Now I’m seeing patterns. As soon as one wife becomes really popular, there’s a hate club and people are ganging up on her. With Teresa though, the family thing is what got me. All these blogs, articles, and comments were painting her as this horrible person and you’d think a sister-in-law never lied before in the history of all mankind the way people jumped to Melissa’s side. Teresa’s a better person than I am which is why I think I respect her. Contract or no contract, I would have aired these people out with zero regrets.

I’ll be disappointed if it turns out she really is behind the rumors since I thought she’d learned how to deal with Melissa once she married into the family. I’ve always argued that I’m sure she knew what Melissa was but once they got married and had kids, she let it go. Like an adult. And thank you, Spaghetti Kitten, I’ve agreed with everything you’ve posted as well.

When andy was on bethenny’s show they showed bethenny’s audition tape for the rhony. So its true you can send in an audition tape to get hired to be on a housewife show. I never believed there was an audition tape from the Gorga’s. I thought you had to be asked by Bravo. Now I totally believe that is exactly what the Gorga’s did. They sent in a tape and said they would ruin their own family to be on the show…..from the reunion….

“It built to this. What you guys saw on TV, I never wanted that to happen. I was hurt, you guys came on the show, I felt like to take me down,” Teresa says. “We were four hours into filming and that breaks out at the christening. That was not something that I wanted my kids to see. I felt like you guys came on the show to take me down and make me look like the villain.”

      October 12, 2013 at 2:43 PM

Yea, during the OC Housewives 100th episode special, they showed Lauri and Vicki’s original audition tape, and I believe they showed part of Gretchen’s as well. I think it’s always been part of the process and mandatory for potential Housewives to send in tapes of them talking about themselves and their lives and what everyday life is like for them.

And I agree, this all of this leaves no doubt in my mind that Joey and Melissa said something about Teresa during they’re tape to get cast on the show.

I heard it was a spoof of the Godfather and they did indeed promise to reveal dirt on Teresa and to bring the drama to the show. The nephew story that blew up the reunion was just the beginning. Cohen will never reveal that. He wants people to think Melissa made the decision on her own to join the show to hurt Teresa with no input from him or bravo. He is evil and Melissa is evil and a pig. I want her to get fired soooooooo bad.

hahahaha, I bet TSIL is insulted that she was not asked to co host the AMA’s red carpet event and Rosie was chosen, I bet Andy had something to do with Rosie cohosting with Lance. I thought the TSIL was Miss Andy’s favorite, if the TSIL was hosting she could get her music expose and network with music stars at the event.

Hi, I just wanted to post (OT I know, sorry!) to say hi to the fame-ily and that I’m going back, way back to the first blogs on here and read EVERYTHING that I haven’t read yet. I can’t believe that some of these issues have been going on so obviously for so long, no wonder fame is sick of it all. I totally understand why fame is not blogging HWs in the future as to blog she would have to watch and I gave in and tried watching the finale (I watched a tiny bit before but this time I watched the whole thing) and was so disgusted and insulted by being treated like an idiot by the show I will not be watching any more. Anyway hi all, hope you are all well and will be back once I catch up with my reading here. x x x

Fame I wanted to ask you a couple of questions that have been lingering in the back of my head for a while. If memory serves me right,(often doesn’t lately), I remember in the early episodes that Rosie had on a chef’s uniform. Is she a chef? And I thought that Mellisa had a child before she married Joe, I thought I read somewhere that she had 4 children and her going out her way to say I have 3 children, three, in an interview.

In response to posts up-thread, I wonder if Rosie is now bashing Teresa because she was offered a bigger role in season 6.

    • October 12, 2013 at 9:12 PM

Her older brother is a chef. Rosie is a senior project manger for a company that manufactures high-end displays and furniture for the retail industry

      • black enga
        October 12, 2013 at 10:07 PM

Thank you kayswhims, I don’t know where I saw that maybe she was helping out some where. I found a little about the possible 4th child, something about Joe Go or Joe having a love child. Don’t even want to know anymore. Talk about skeleton, I though I was in a damn graveyard.

    • October 13, 2013 at 12:48 PM

Rosie said she designs office furniture or something like that. I think she did wear something on her head that resembled what TV chefs often wear, but she’s not a chef. I never heard anything about Melissa having a child before marrying Joe. She just has the three kids. Rosie is siding with her sister over her cousin, and I think there is still conflict between Teresa and Kathy, including a competitive rivalry (Kathy is stepping on Teresa’s toes with the cookbook, food lines). Kathy is most definitely passive aggressive and Rich has made inexcusable comments about the Giudices, for which he has never apologized and for which Kathy continues to make excuses. Rosie is likeable around Juicy, but often displays repulsive behavior around Rich and Kathy. I fast forward through the Wakiles scenes, and I seriously hope they are gone from season 6.

      • black enga
        October 14, 2013 at 1:20 AM

Thanks Fame! I hope they don’t return either. I really tried to like Rosie, especially when I saw her trying to bond with Joe (on camera), this season. All of that was thrown to the wind when she doubled back to attack Teresa with Kathy.

Kathy and Melissa have never been my cup of tea. But hey, your are what you marry in their case. I can only imagine what they say off camera if this show is any indication.

Thanks again Fame!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

I hope Tre does not sign on to another stupid season of Horrrwives and leaves them all of them in the DUST! She and her Mother could do a cooking show, on one of the cooking channels. I would watch I think on any given day Tre could make a Cannoli that would sell and Joe would NOT be tagging after her! God, I hope the best for Tre and Joe but her azzhole Bro and the angel (that croons) from Hell brought this to attention, Christmas party? Would you invite someone to your Christmas party Atty that was trying to destroy a family of 6? I posted somewhere else to Joe Gorga I hope the ‘P’ is worth it when 4 little girls may or may not stay awake at night wondering if Mom or Dad will be their in the morning. Why if your wife Mehorrr is so true to everything including religion, why does she make the sign of Catholics backwards? I know it’s fake and Joe Gorga can’t read but that should have been the first clue! 4 Little Girls. Shame! I hope that makes you feel better Brother.

Love Teresa but like she said at the reunion it just goes round and round and round.

The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting different results.
That’s a perfect way to describe Seasons 3-5 isn’t it? If “Dr. V” was such a great therapist she would have mentioned that.

That person is taking points made in Penny’s blogs at FRE and blogs here at FW, including comments here at FW about Teresa being both the victim and the underdog, which was discussed here on September 21, 2013:

      https://famewhorgas.wordpress.com/2013/09/20/teresa-giudice-blogged-im-so-over-this-made-up-drama-fw-couldnt-agree-more/#comment-73361

Fame said on 2013/09/21 at 12:53 PM in reply to bug:

I think Teresa is portrayed not so much as the victim but as both the villain and underdog.

Being in her fifth season, Teresa has to know the game by now. I’m starting to believe her role is both the “underdog and the villain.” It keeps her fans riled up and the blog chatter going. But Bravo failed to see that viewers would become “desensitized from overused, dragged-out stories” (thanks for this insight, Kayswhims!) The ratings are down for this season. Teresa’s last cookbook wasn’t a best seller, nor was Caroline’s book, and most likely not Melissa’s. The scenes look fake this season, and you can tell they’re staged and the cast is acting – I’m sure scenes were reshot for better “takes.” Joe’s roid rages are over the top – he must be hoping for a “table flipping” moment that will make him infamous like his sister.

Is Teresa part of this charade that is RHNJ?

I have to ask this because at this point it just doesn’t make any sense why Teresa would not denounce some of the chopped editing that the show has. Teresa could have defended herself by saying simple things like:

Andy, you know that the meeting between Melissa and Penny happened before the trip to Arizona, why did Melissa pretended to be cool with me?

Andy, you know darn well that the one who brought in the allegations against Melissa is her own ex-BF and he did it due to Melissa’s sisters tweet war, why do you guys keep trying to pin this on me? Who does it really benefit to keep this BS rumor about the cheating going and going?

Caroline, why did don’t we talk about what really happen in the last fashion show? why don’t you tell the audience what your real issue with Penny is? (Al’s cheating?)

Caroline, you keep harping on keeping your family problem confidential but have no problem helping to put my famiy issues on display?

Kathy, why don’t you tell everybody what is the nature of your relationship with Johnny the Greek and how your husband Ritchie and my brother went behind cameras to talk to him and offer to have him on the show with the promise to throw me under the bus.

Andy, why is not Penny here? Penny has said on her blogs that all this editing makes her say that I am responsible yet in her blogs she denies it, so which one is it?

MO is that Teresa is just a willing participant in this big charade that RHNJ has become, it works for her purposes nicely, she gets to be the martir, the one everyone picks on, she gets to play being the underdog and that secures her the loyalty of her rabid fans who buy any crap she peddles as an act of loyalty to their “queen”.

I don’t dislike Teresa as much as I dislike her SIL, but let’s be clear here, if it wasn’t for how hideous Melissa is, would Teresa have any support? would the viewers keep forgetting that this lady has been charged with all kinds of criminal acts?

Teresa said that she has a PR task force so I just can’t help but wonder if all this very obvious editing is just working for Teresa’s benefit and we are all just to blind to see it. JMO

If Tre had a show that was on Food Network, let’s just say, I would watch. If her and her mother worked on recipe’s! I do think Tre could make a cannoli way better than Katfishy on any given day. Andy should ask Mehorrr how would you make a cannoli? Silence.. Crickets.. um yea that won’t happen just like him asking why do you make the sign of the Cross backwards and claim to be Catholic? Why did you have a known atty at your Christmas party that you knew was building a case against two people who have 4 little children? To watch the horror and destruction when they cry at night? Does that make you feel better? Does that help you sleep at night? Joe Gorga?
Does that make you wander about 4 little girls who may or may not lay awake at night wondering if their mom or dad will be there in the morning? We all know that you do not care except about things you have not been charged with or caught yet for doing. For Christ sake wake up, “P” is not the only thing in the world.

off topic but tonight im going to a local italian restaurant (its a monthly meet up for our co workers) and this is this months dining of choice. i looked at their online menu and saw canoli as one of the desserts? i noticed above the others say if you get one best to get them at a bakery. do the restaurants do good with theirs or find something else on the dessert menu? ( i admit i never had one and was curious to try one)

    • October 12, 2013 at 6:42 PM

I know some restaurants make their own “signature” desserts, some purchase from a local bakery and most of them buy pre-made frozen desserts, then add the chocolate sauce and/or whipped cream. Before ordering dessert, ask them if they make it in house.

Cannolis are not made with Ricatta cheese, I know I was a kid taken in by REAL Italians It is Crisco/ or fat and powdered sugar. The crust is mad simply by flour, say/Crisco or lard, once baked and cooled then fill. Ask a true Catholic/Italian who are REAL people, they will tell you the same! You should think of the recipe as being .. as easy as apple, cherry any fruit you have on hand that has been boiled down/w/sugar the same it is very simple. Now I see why KatStinkyFish Cannoli’s are not all that. You do not need a kit! Think Home Economics in JR High. It’s Easy peasyyy…

If you want I can walk you through it as long as you have rods for the Cannoli dough.

      • October 12, 2013 at 7:57 PM

I beg to differ about the ricotta cheese. Maybe your recipe was the economical version which may have popped up during the depression.

        • MeHo
          October 12, 2013 at 8:18 PM

Sorry gessie, do you think Ricatta cheese was on hand to most of the Italians, no it was not! Ricatta is like making buttermilk to Hillbillies. Say what you want but even you just said economical version??? When Italians got here (like many others) they had 1lb of flour and 1/2 lb of sugar in there bags when they got off the boat.

          • October 12, 2013 at 9:09 PM

I think that’s what gessie meant by “economical”. The version that was necessary because there was no money for real ricotta.

            • adioslunatic
              October 13, 2013 at 7:45 AM

True cannoli are made with either ricotta or mascarpone cheese. There may have been a version made otherwise when either were not readily available. Especially during the depression.
              My 2 cents…

I was raised in a predominantly Italian area in the northeast. The majority of the parents or grandparents of my friends were “straight off the boat” from Italy. I never had a cannoli stuffed with anything other than a cheese based filling. My first thought was the same as that of gessiewtf…the Crisco/fat alternative sounds like something that came out of the Depression, like Mock Apple Pie made with Ritz crackers. I’ve learned the right way with recipes seems to be the way one was initially introduced to a dish, i.e. whichever way it tastes right to the person who has to eat it.

          • October 13, 2013 at 5:06 PM

This is a personal preference but I don’t find Popeye’s all that great. The skin is yummy but the meat isn’t seasoned to the bone. My family brines our chicken, seasons it, then marinates usually overnight. I’m spoilt, I think. I think also based on what I’ve heard that it depends on where your Popeye’s is located. Same with KFC. You have to look at the neighborhood it’s in and then you can guess how well seasoned your chicken will be.

Monsanto wins prestigious World Food Prize

    October 9, 2013
News,Environment,Health,News,Rights | Posted by: Sophie McAdam

If only, if only it were a joke……..

    March against Monsanto 2013.

If you thought the world couldn´t get any crazier, news this week that a Monsanto executive is to receive the World Food Prize for its services to agriculture might make you think again.

Robert T Fraley, Executive Vice President of Monsanto, along with Mary Dell Chilton, founder of biotech giant Syngenta, have been announced as this year´s winners for the prestigious food prize, which has a $250,000 reward. Fraley, who has been with Monsanto throughout much of its dark history, is being lauded for his invention of GMOs, while Chilton is applauded for spending “the last three decades overseeing the implementation of the new technology she developed and further improving it to be used in the introduction of new and novel genes into plants.”

Great work Mary, I´m sure your grandkids will be proud.

This has to be a joke, right? Just like when Obama won the Peace Prize, upon reading this article I had to check my calendar to make sure it wasn´t April Fool´s day. The accolades are set to be given to these cretinous executives on World Food Day, October 16. If this insane plan goes ahead without a public backlash, we will be rewarding CEOs who have systematically:

Monopolized our food and driven millions of farmers into poverty

Designed dangerous artificial growth hormones for dairy cows

Created franken-seeds and prohibited investigation into their long-term effects

Tried to block the labelling of GMO foods

Patented food in a sickening attempt to own nature itself (Hey, Monsanto! I grow my own broccoli, what you gonna do about it?)

Enforcing these patents by suing and threatening smallholders and family farmers who violate Monsanto´s iron rule

Caused mass suicide among millions of farmers whose GM crops fail

Invented pesticides that kill bees and endangered other wildlife

And later had the audacity to launch legal action against the European Union after it finally banned bee-killing pesticides in May this year.

And so on, to infinity and beyond. We could be here all day (soya, roundup, cotton, aspartame, take your pick of the rest…)

Apparently, the prize “emphasizes the importance of a nutritious and sustainable food supply for all people”. So why, World Food Prize people, why? Well, it might have something to do with the fact that Monsanto paid them a $5 million bribe- sorry, donation- back in 2008 to win legitimacy they could never have found otherwise.

The good news is that 81 councilors of the World Future Council have reacted in anger to the prizewinner announcement, rightly accusing the World Food Prize foundation of betraying its purpose. As they state in their official complaint, “GMO seeds reinforce a model of farming that undermines sustainability of cash-poor farmers, who make up most of the world’s hungry…The most dramatic impact of such dependency is in India, where 270,000 farmers, many trapped in debt for buying seeds and chemicals, committed suicide between 1995 and 2012.”

We have until October 16 to fight back. Please sign this petition and spread the word on Facebook, Twitter and whatever else you use. The growing public backlash against Monsanto is strong, and with the support of the World Future Council, we can use this insane decision to say enough is enough. Let´s make it clear to the World Food Prize panel that rewarding the horrendous practices of these giant corporations is a threat to its reputation and integrity. You can also tell Bayer and Syngenta to stop their shameless legal action against the E.U´s bee pesticide ban here.

Dear shoebuyer, for 24 years I thought Monsanto made Roundup only. Monsanto fed my family, put my children through Catholic school, built my house and gave me a good life. Making six figures in the 80’s (overtime and my income) meant a family was doing well in south Louisiana.

Today, Monsanto employs my ex-husband, one of my sons (Max’s dad), many of my cousins and in-laws at their Luling plant.

It is only since the beginning of 2011, when my mother-in-law (present husband’s mom) fell ill that I discovered what Monsanto really does. Then I watched “Food, Inc.” These are the reasons (some of them) that my now husband and I grow our own vegetables and some fruits. Seeds that are not genetically modified are hard to find. But they can be found.

I always say buy fresh, buy local and ground your own beef. Yes, I had a hot dog today that was uncured and the all beef and was fed a vegetarian diet. Was Monsanto involved, I really do not know.

LSU played this afternoon, our family gathered and we had hotdogs with Rutt’s secret sauce, it was a hit and very easy to do.

      • October 13, 2013 at 10:21 AM

I love me a good ‘ol hotdog *.* I can’t quote the bible and I would never claim to but growing up my dear sweet mother(r.i.p.) spoke of this, the food chain. I now know of what it was she was speaking of. And like your family, I also worked for a major co. General Electric to be exact, and now that I’m older, I think about all the chemicals I worked with just to “Bring good things to life” it’s no wonder that I feel the way I do, but yes, the job did afford me and my family with many, many, blessing…….but at what cost??? I remember days where the whole plant would flood from a sudden rainstorm and everything on the floor(chemicals) would free flow down the drains right into the city’s water supply. Years later, present day, so many young ladies in the area aren’t able to have children without “help” and Autism is rampant. So sad. But that was many years ago, I’m sure G.E. has changed their policies……right? And on that note…..I’m gearing up for some Sunday Football. My Bengals, ALL. THE. WAY. *.* Hubby’s Buccaneers…Well. Never. Mind.

        • October 13, 2013 at 10:44 AM

I found out about the infamous contaminated polio vaccine just a few years ago. This is all bigger than any of us. I am also gearing up for some football. My husband and I were cheering for the Bengals last weekend. It is our turn to take on the Patriots, go Saints!!

I had a temp job in the late 80s with a PR firm who was hired by their rivals. The PR firmed worked to make sure Monsanto had lots of negative mentions in the press. One of my duties was to read every magazine & news article that Monsanto was mentioned, and tally up the negative articles v. positive articles. The more negative mentions, the more successful the rival (via the PR firm) were in putting info out to the public that undermined Monsanto’s image and Brand. This was long before the Internet & social media.

I’m sure it’s MUCH easier now to plant information with access to so much online. Two minutes, and voila!

I always take all information w/a grain of salt due to my experience+being on the receiving end of plenty of negative fiction presented as “fact”.

        Food for thought!

On December 21, Congress passed the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (S.510) and it was signed into law by Obama on January 4, 2011. The following is an excerpt from a report on what would happen if the act became law.

Regulators Using Egg Recall to Push Support for Tyrannical ‘Food Safety’ Bill
      By Ethan A. Huff, NaturalNews
      September 10, 2010

The billion-or-so egg recall fiasco that took place this summer is a perfect example of the failures implicit in modern, industrialized agriculture. But rather than respond to the situation with concerted efforts to reform Big Agribusiness and return to clean, localized food production methods, some groups and regulatory agencies are calling on Congress to pass legislation that would shift total control of the nation’s food supply to Monsanto and various international governing bodies.

According to a recent CNN article, the Center for Science in the Public Interest and several other groups allegedly representing “victims” of the recent salmonella outbreak, are calling on the U.S. Senate to pass the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act–also known as S.510–as the solution to the broken food system. According to them, the bill will give the FDA the power it needs to properly regulate and prevent future illness outbreaks.

But in reality, the FDA already has the power it needs to properly regulate. It simply fails time and time again to actually do its job. While favoring the corporate offenders responsible for the outbreaks, the FDA continually goes after small producers that produce clean food, and even against food itself (which the agency has claimed is inherently dangerous and in need of pasteurization).

In a nutshell, the agency has utterly failed to address the real problems that cause food contamination and is in desperate need of major, fundamental reform that will limit its power and help restore real food freedom.

Instead of instigating this type of reform, however, S.510 will essentially give unconstitutional control of the U.S. food supply to multinational corporations and force the U.S. to relinquish its sovereignty to international governing bodies.

S.510, the Trojan horse ushering in world government

The roots of S.510 date back to the early 1990s when then-President Bill Clinton unveiled the Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) program. HACCP was hailed at the time as the solution to meat contamination problems. But in the same pattern as S.510, HACCP did nothing to actually address the problem and everything to make it worse.

Under the guise of addressing meat contamination, bureaucrats and multinational corporations pulled a fast one on the public by introducing a program that actually rewarded violators and eliminated a significant amount of food freedom. The corporate offenders responsible for meat contamination actually benefited from HACCP because it allowed them to “inspect” themselves, and shifted to their control a large segment of the meat industry. The program literally eliminated thousands of local food processors that had been producing clean meat all along.

Today, the same thing is happening with S.510. Last summer, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the precursor to S.510–known as the Food Safety Enhancement Bill (H.R.2749)–and S.510 is now waiting in the wings.

Advocates of S.510 are hoping that when Congress reconvenes, it will pass S.510 right away in order to solve all our food problems. But just like HACCP did with meat, S.510 will actually make the problem worse, while at the same time steal the last remaining food freedoms we have left.

“If accepted [S.510] would preclude the public’s right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes. It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one’s choice. It will be unconstitutional and contrary to natural law, or, if you like, the will of God,” explained Dr. Shiv Chopra, a microbiologist with Health Canada, concerning the bill.

According to some reports, the bill contains language that would give Monsanto–in conjunction with the United Nations (UN), the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO)–total control over all food, food production systems, farms and even food and dietary supplements.

      Rest of the article here:
      http://www.naturalnews.com/029704_egg_recall_food_safety_bill.html

There are thousands of articles on the truth about Monsanto. For example:

A Government of Monsanto, by Monsanto, and for Monsanto
By Barbara H. Peterson, Farm Wars
      April 22, 2011

This is nothing short of a complete takeover by Monsanto and the biotech industry of what was left of any non-GMO processed foods still remaining on the shelves, with the FDA paving the way through collusion and subterfuge.

      • October 13, 2013 at 3:22 PM

Thank you for the article. My son told me a few days ago that Monsanto bought a weather company (What is a “weather company”? Could there be truth to the rumor that the weather can be controlled?). Only God knows.

When I married my present husband he worked for Cargill, they feed the world also. After the St. James facility was destroyed because of Katrina, we did not want to re-locate. He now works in Reserve for ADM, another company feeding people.

I think Cargill, ADM and a few others will call in their favors and cause opposition to S.510. I certainly hope so.

Monsanto Buys Climate Corp For $930 Million
          By Forbes
          10/02/2013

Who knew betting on the weather could make a billion dollars? It just did for The Climate Corporation, which underwrites weather insurance for farmers. Monsanto broke the news this morning that it was buying Climate for approximately $930 million. The idea is to sell more data and services to the farmers who already buy Monsanto’s seed and chemicals. Climate (formerly known as Weatherbill) has raised $107 million from a plethora of backers since it began fund raising in 2007. Its biggest investors include Khosla Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, Google Ventures, Index Ventures and Founders Fund.

Climate’s cofounders were early Google employees who saw a self-service approach to weather insurance, which had previously been sold in custom, over-the-counter negotiations.

Mainstream media doesn’t report on things like geoengineering, but there are stories out there about weather manipulation. Bill Gates and his charity, the Gates Foundation, are big supporters of geoengineering, among other things.

Bill Gates father was on the Eugenics Board….you know, Planned Parenthood now. Bill Gates goes waaaaay back on the depopulation agenda front. Now they are “helping” third world countries pollute their unpolluted food supplies so that the whole world can suffer the same kinds of sicknesses GMO food can bring. Free vaccines too!

“I never wanted to go back and fight with my family. They’d probably always love to have me back, and you know, I never wanted to do that,” Dina explains. “Now that Caroline is leaving for her own pilot, and I’m assuming Jacqueline’s going with her too, you know, I would never want to be public with issues with my family.”

    Have we discussed this?

That might be interesting and maybe RHONJ won’t have to script scene’s revolving around TSIL’s skanky past. I think Dina is a headstrong lady who can carry a scene without a companion, unlike TSIL and Kathy. I’m pretty sure TSIL would feel intimidated by her being a cast member because I think Dina is a pretty lady.

Then again, I wish the Gorga’s “platform” would be taken away from them because of TB’s psycho, maniac behavior! When TB is on screen it’s like pins and needles watching him because of his hair trigger temper. His anger issue’s do not make for good TV! TB just went to far with his temper tantrums and trying to one up Tre! The way TB insults and demeans Tre is just disgusting to listen to. He’s a man, for crying out loud, and he act’s like a bey-otch!

I hope the Wakile’s aren’t asked back this season. Kathy is boring and Richie is annoying. Richie has pushed me with his crude personality and two faced behavior. He’s another male who acts like a bey-otch!

  55. October 13, 2013 at 8:37 AM

The Wakilies grow more and more desperate. Last night, Kathy made an appearance at Eastchester Columbus Day Festival in NY. I can’t get images to post, but she and Joseph have tweeted a picture of the “crowds” that came to see her. Just like Melissa’s “crowds” lol – if you look closely at the picture, half of them are just walking by.

    • October 13, 2013 at 10:27 AM

      Your right. lol

      • October 13, 2013 at 12:33 PM

Kathy makes my skin crawl!! I agree ncgal2. I don’t believe for nano second those people are there for Her..looks to me like a random crowd shot. It’s so embarrassing for them…I’d be horrified to make a public appearance knowing 5 ppl are there to meet me. (4 being my family members lol ) And then have to pretend I was well received. I’m an admitted glutton for punishment but, I don’t think even I can watch another season of TSIL..TB..Kathy or Rich. Why is bravo not listening. They’ve ruined this franchise.

I don’t know why that you state that the article that Reality Row put up on her/ his blog implies that The Wakiles ” know” JTG. All that article did in my opinion was connect the dots that the Wakiles ” know of” JTG, through his niece. So their claims of ‘ who are these people/ Where did they come from” Is in my opinion bullshit!! They know exactly who these people are and where they come from! And in my opinion that is why Teresa rt’ed that article, nothing more and nothing less. Just like it was proven that Cracker Jac ” knows” Penny, from the picture that was posted with the 2 of them( with others at some event) and Kim D. saying in her blog that Cracker Jac has met her, etc. Cracker Jac even had to admit it, in her Bravo blog.

I also think that JTG, and Rumor Fix are cra, cra to think that that article even implied that they were /are friends and that Kathy got them on the show.. How freaking stupid!

I agree with you, holy cannoli. That’s what I got out of it, too. Teresa retweeted the blog because it contradicted Kathy’s rantings about The Greeks, period. They’re all making more of a retweet than I ever thought possible.

In the meanwhile, we can console ourselves with the whip-lashing that Mewhore continues to receive over her book. the gift that keeps on giving.

  58. October 13, 2013 at 10:46 AM

I think Teresa’s reasoning behind joining the show was the oppurtunity to market her own products. She does not let anything knock her down for the count. She brushes past things because they will distract her from her goal if she dwells on them. Teresa has shown that she can live just fine if people reject her. Kathy on the other hand, does not do well with what is rejection and what appears to be rejection. TSIL and TB definately have issues with feeling left out. Jaq is already cracking. If you reject Caroline, you become an enemy. She will keep spinning her wheels in the face of rejection. Ritchie fears rejection.

I swear Kathy is so jealous of Teresa! Rich stirs the pot so much that you can tell he is part of the tension that Kathy and, Rosie have towards Teresa. Their just as bad as Melissa and Joe. I hope since Caroline and Jacqueline are no longer on the show they get 2 ladies that will have Teresa’s back. Teresa is going through so much, legally that all this drama that is still going on is uncalled for. Rich lives off of Kathy and it’s obvious just as Joe tries to live upon Melissa’s played out dreams. Kathy, Rosie and, Joe are blood and the things that their doing to Teresa will kick them in the ass. I’m so over those 5 people. I wish Bravo would of take them off the show too. If Dina does come back…Watch out!

I love how fame and y’all reconstruct the social media timeline. It makes every lame scene on TV more interesting! Personally I wouldn’t want Teresa or Melissa as my sister in law. They both automatically point out faults in each other. It’s natural for them for some reason. Thank you to everyone who shared their SIL story. I did not get along with my sister in law when she married my brother 20 yrs ago. She had a meltdown at my wedding and my parents and my brother were ready to send her home (she was a bridesmaid). I let her stay (she never said she was sorry) because I hoped that maybe someday we might get along and I didn’t want to regret kicking her to the curb. Well 20 years later I can honestly say she is a dear friend of mine because I grew to respect and love her. She grew to appreciate me too. All of this has taken a lot of time and willingness to let go of things I thought “were right” but in reality I had no control over, and truthfully were none of my business. That’s all for now. PJ

  61. September 28, 2016 at 9:29 PM

There is no amount of money or promise of fame that would make me betray my friends or family, especially my blood relatives. Teresa Giudice was betrayed by both. I completely understand when she said to her brother: “Stick with your blood!” If the feds attempted to build a case against my friends or family, they would have to do it without me, regardless!

According to a source who e-mailed FameWhorgas in October 2013:

“Contracts for season 6 will be signed – it is just a matter of which ones –
Kathy has Rosie.” As far as Richie goes, “he will tell you that Andy loves him.”

Concerning the relationship between Teresa and Kathy: “Kathy is up Teresa’s ass now that Caroline is out of the picture, but their relationship is strained still.”
