Teresa Giudice’s Friend, Heather Maclean, Answers Viewers Questions on Twitter
Teresa’s “very good friend” of five years and co-writer of her cookbooks, Heather Maclean (@HeatherMaclean), along with her kids, just spent the week at Teresa’s house, and she has been tweeting up a storm the past few days.
The following are some of her tweets and Twitter exchanges.
When asked if she would ever ghost write for Melissa, Heather replied:
Um no. I’ve turned down 2 other HWs. My loyalty is to Teresa and I wouldn’t want to work on a book project that was ill-gotten.
When asked, “What will happen when Melissa doesn’t sell enough to meet the $300,000 advance on her marriage advice book – will she have to pay it back?,” Heather replied:
According to people I know in publishing, that number is wayyy off. But no, she won’t have to pay it back. I was really surprised to see Melissa of ALL people is not giving her writer credit. Every other HW is confident enough to. Melissa really expects anyone to think she wrote a book herself? Lol. Although maybe it was the writer’s choice! 😉 It’s a very odd move for someone so adamant that they aren’t a copycat. Trust me, she is and then some. #SWF
When asked if Teresa’s mother-in-law is aware that Melissa wrote a snide remark about her in her Bravo blog, Heather replied:
Unfortunately she is more than aware. Beyond devastating. She told me so many stories about her hospitality to Melissa over the years. Yes, someone in town told her. Terrible. 😦 Teresa’s mother-in-law cannot understand why Melissa would SO disrespect her in her blog. She was on 1 episode briefly weeks ago… To list her full name like that, mocking her in public, someone who gave her such hospitality, a respected elder, is really incomprehensible…and in MY book, reprehensible. Teresa’s MIL was NOT talking about Melissa and Melissa knows it because she was told. So her insult is fake… Which makes it all the more horrible to me because it’s unnecessary.
Melissa did not need to avenge herself because she was never offended. #FAKE And really that’s your idea of vengeance? Publicly humiliating an older woman? It wasn’t enough she was attacked at Melissa’s family christening?
I spent a lot of time with Teresa’s MIL, a lovely woman, who unlike Melissa’s mom (smh) is not on Twitter. She has no way to defend herself. If I were Melissa, I would seriously consider moving now. She might have crossed one too many lines now. 😦 And Teresa’s MIL told me I could tell Twitter her answer to Melissa’s blog question: “What did she think of her son and Teresa in the hot tub?” She said, “Good for them! I love to see that my son and his beautiful wife are still so in love and playful after 14 years of marriage.” 🙂
Heather later tweeted that she was with the Giudices when Melissa’s blog was published:
I was there with the Giudice family when Melissa’s blog disrespecting Joe’s mother came out. With them and saw their confusion and anguish. I was with Teresa when she immediately called and then texted Melissa to ask why she did it, to directly communicate and work it out privately. I was with Teresa for the next four days while Melissa did not respond in any way. Teresa wants family peace more than anything.
She later tweeted:
In the interest of fair and balanced reporting, I can tell you that Melissa finally called Teresa back this morning! Hooray! 5 days>never. Melissa said Teresa’s MIL shouldn’t have come on the show if she didn’t want to be talked about. Teresa wished her luck next time she saw Mrs. G.
Heather added that Juicy’s mother “was edited terribly on the show. She was NOT talking about Melissa, and Melissa knows it! She was told!”
When asked to “please clear up when earlier you said someone told Teresa’s MIL about the slam in the blog, but now you say you were with them when it came out?”, Heather replied:
I was staying at Teresa’s house with my family when it came out. The next day her MIL came over and said she’d heard about it.
When someone commented that Melissa “has respect for nobody – you don’t see Teresa going after the Marcos,” Heather tweeted:
Ever! And certainly not by name! Sooo disrespectful. 😦
On her relationship with Teresa, Heather tweeted:
Teresa knows I tweet my opinion and that I would never do anything to hurt her family. I gave and received lots and lots of hugs and kisses. The tears… What has been done to this family… Unbelievable. Believe me, I don’t want my name attached to RHONJ in any way but I feel I have a moral obligation to tell the truth for this family. xx
When someone tweeted, “I’m more convinced then ever Melissa’s followers are fake,” Heather replied: “Me too! I can’t watch any other HW show, but there was just something so sweet and unique about Teresa,” and she retweeted:
I am perplexed with people who buy followers on social media.What is the point? Perceived popularity? You are fooling no one but yourself!#RHOC
When someone tweeted, “If Teresa tries to get out there and defend herself or her family, people twist everything,” Heather replied:
“Exactly! I can’t stand the twisting.”
On her opinion of RadarOnline, Heather said:
I never look at Radar. They’re never even close to the truth and it’s pretty clear who their sources are.
On the comments by Kung Fu/Say What?? at LipstickAlley, Heather said:
I read it. Nuggets of truth but mostly fiction. The RHONJ expose on lipstickally making the rounds is mostly fiction. Especially the parts about Joe Gorga. Not true in almost every way. Trust me. You know I don’t like the way Joe Gorga treats his sister, but those are some seriously insane and hurtful allegations. No one deserves that. I know Joe Gorga’s family very well and he was raised right. He’s a good, good guy. Reality TV can make even the best person look terrible. And new-found “fame” can mess with your mind and then your behavior. 😦 No idea who Kung Fu is, but no one is that deeply acquainted with every single cast member. Not possible. I can’t speak to the Manzo or Laurita “tea” in that article, but I know the Giudices and Gorgas. Not true.
Note from Fame: Kung Fu is not an insider, IMO, but is a super fan who carefully follows the blogs and has created a story based on both fact and fiction – just because some of what he/she is saying is true does not mean all of it is true. It can be best described as fan fiction.
Calypso did the research on what Kung Fu was claiming about the Manzos based on various newspaper articles which he/she linked to. Calypso proved that the articles were about different Manzo brothers and a different Brownstone restaurant – as unbelievable as it sounds (what are the odds?!)
The story about passing bribes through cereal boxes was an article about Louis Manzo and Ronald Manzo (other Manzo brothers) and also involved Michael J. Manzo (no relation to Lou or Ron – apparently “Manzo” is a common name in the region). And – wait for it – the Brownstone establishment in the articles was the Brownstone Diner and Pancake Factory in Jersey City, not The Brownstone catering house in Paterson.
Calypso wrote: “I really do prefer the truth over a fabricated and ‘alleged’ tale used to deceive others. Why fill a post full of allegations and innuendo if you KNOW the juicy truth? Albert and Tommy Manzo may have DIRTY HANDS and I suspect they do but …. you have to ask yourself after reading all of this are they involved in this case? The hundreds of pages I’ve read say – no.”

Concerning Heather’s tweets defending Joe Gorga and the LipstickAlley comments, someone tweeted Heather that “this is Teresa sticking up for her brother again – damage control,” to which Heather replied:
Nope, it’s me sticking up for the truth again. I don’t speak for Teresa, but I know the facts.
On the same topic, someone else tweeted, “those allegations really bother me – really destructive,” to which Heather replied:
There’s a big difference between bitchy conversations and legal accusations. Not cool!
Finally, concerning the LipstickAlley comments, Heather said,
I think Kung Fu is most correct with his opinion on how production tricked Melissa this season.
The following is King Fu’s comment on “Melissa coming on and production building trust with her”:
They prove they are on her side, build her up, teach her how to play the game. Then she trusts them enough to relax and say things knowing they will edit them out. They have her pick at Teresa until Teresa snaps, then edit it to make it look like Teresa started the whole fight. Now when producers have her do it again, she is confident and knows it’s safe to mumble under her breath at Teresa, whisper insults, hide out of camera range, and make comments to stir the pot. The season airs and bam… Melissa is happy and satisfied that producers are on her side. Then they flip the script and stop editing those things out. By the time Melissa realizes it, she’s fucked. She’s depending on BRAVO paychecks, already signed a new contract, and getting her ass handed to her on national TV. This happens to nearly all the housewives. Melissa was so confident and giddy over having production “in her pocket” that she failed to realize she was walking the exact same path that many before her had walked.
When someone said, “Honestly, my heart breaks for Teresa… sometimes for your own sanity, cut your losses,” Heather tweeted:
I know. And sadly I agree. I’m so proud of Teresa for continuing to work on fixing and forgiving. It is not easy, but she will never give up. xx
On Melissa, Heather tweeted:
She seems to have a very convenient amnesia for a lot of things. But as an actual witness to everything, I truly think unless someone gets through to Melissa and holds her accountable for her actions… the family will never heal. Teresa can’t get through to her. Maybe we all can. xx Teresa is definitely trying! 🙂 And if I know her, she’ll never give up!
And this is my personal opinion again, but since I know Melissa Gorga reads my tweets (and prints them out with dates), I have to say… a 7th grader is completely different from a 2nd grader. When a young person reaches out to you, you should respect and validate their feelings. I know Melissa doesn’t have teenagers yet, but I do. They see and feel and hurt and understand and need honesty and you to LISTEN to them. Not yell. And in MY book, hanging up on a child is despicable
[Note from Fame: Apparently, Melissa yelled at Gia over the phone and hung up on her when she called Melissa to express that she was hurt about what she said on the bus to the retreat about her father cheating.]
So now Melissa is crying that I’m a “disgusting liar” that is tearing her family apart. What?!? How can my opinion be a lie? Unlike the egg accounts and Melissa fan clubs (run by whom…?) that are personally attacking me, calling me names and threatening me, I’m not. I’m not talking about Melissa’s past or her family or her marriage. Not name calling or being disrespectful. Just my opinion on her actions.
I don’t care about press or attention or # of followers. I’ve already turned the RHONJ down. Teresa doesn’t ever pay me (the publisher does). I believe our friends and family keep us and our ego and our pride in check so we can be better people. We all have it. Except some “celebs.” There is not one person close to Melissa that ever tells her she’s wrong about anything. I don’t think that’s healthy or good for anyone.
I know Melissa (obsessively?) reads my tweets. I only hope that 1% of my opinion about decent behavior sinks in someday. For her family. They can never heal if Melissa and Joe continue to blame everything on everyone else. Teresa has nothing to do with my opinion or the fans’. She doesn’t pay us, she doesn’t ask us, she doesn’t promise people favors to run fake bashing sites. She can’t control the whole world!
I think Melissa’s new temper tantrum is because she is freaking out about how she’s being portrayed this season and needs someone else to blame.
How in the world could Teresa’s friend twittering (never mind what Mel’s own blood has twittered) be the cause of her family breakup? Insane.
I’m guessing Melissa’s also trying to set the stage so that if anyone from her past comes forward, it will also be Teresa’s fault. It’s not. It’s yours.
About Melissa’s attack on Joe Giudice at the retreat, Heather tweeted:
Note to Melissa: when you try and “break up” a fight, you should probably try and pull off your husband, not scratch and poke the other guy.
When someone tweeted, “What’s right is right and wrong is wrong… I still can’t get that 4 against 1 at the reunion out my head,” Heather replied:
It’s all very, very sad and my heart is breaking for this family. I know first-hand how hard Teresa is trying. I wish I knew that about Melissa.
When someone tweeted, “Wish it were you instead of the Kim chick that was on the show!”, Heather replied:
Never, never, never. They’ve asked and I declined. Not interested in being on TV again and certainly not on that show! 😉

I have just recently started posting, although I have been a Fame &Co. fan for a while .It’s very refreshing to finally see someone (Heather) responding and supporting Teresa (beside most on this site)!
Heather is full of it and she knows it. This was about protecting Teresa nothing more. She had to come out because Teresa and Joe and stumpy names where all in that lipstick alley comments. I’ll knock a hole in Heather’s thesis right now, she said that Melissa attacked Joe Giudice’s mother over the comment that Joe said was edited that way. But then goes and say that Melissa is attacking Joe Giudice with her nails. Okay, we saw her attacking Joe with her nails, but we also saw Joe’s mother say that women who where what she wears would be called prostitutes in Italy. Was there another woman that they saw in the nail salon that they where talking about or where they talking about what Teresa brought up about Melissa and Joe’s mother added commentary, you can’t have it both ways.
I bring this up not to defend Melissa but to put out their that she conveniently have everything fall on the positive for Teresa and “negative” for Melissa. Ask yourself why nobody and I mean nobody from Teresa to Jax to Richie all the cast have came out and said no to all of this on twitter (hell Jax is the twitter queen). They are afraid of saying anything because whoever KungFu is they hit it right on the head and have more that they haven’t said or hinted about (ask yourself why did Kungfu make that comment about the Brownstone no longer being safe to do business and that old people are leaving their hearing aids in the place). It’s because the Brownstone more than likely is known for where the “boxes” of cereal are given and so they may have investigations ongoing.

There is something with a ring if truth which leads me to share Heather’s skepticism. I can’ t imagine that there would be someone who came out if the woodwork like that who would know all this crap about everybody in the cast. I mean, everybody?

I expressed my skepticism before about the most serious allegation mentioned (no need to say it, we know what I am referring too). I just find it hard to believe a record of a violent crime can “poof disappear” in our technology-driven society today.
Other stuff does ring true, for example the Marco sisters using their sisters status to get kickbacks and JoGo sliming dealings resulting in the Sr. loosing there home.
Other than that, I do kinda agree that she can’t claim good-editing/bad-editing when its convenient. Regardless, you don’t speak ill of Elders in the old school community, Melissa is morally bankrupt.
She has what is called Destructive Narcissistic Personality. She hides her true self from everyone including God, but He is the only One she can not hide from. He knows why she does what she does.
That blank look you see in her eyes sometimes is what her family and friends see when they need empathy and she is void of it. She can do or say whatever to protect her true self and have no regard for others no matter how young or old they are.
She wears several mask because she has different personality types around her. She would love to be vulnerable and whole hearted like Teresa. Of all the people around her, Teresa has the kind of heart that would accept the true self that she hides. She can not accept the love Teresa gives her because Teresa is giving it to the identity (mask) she is wearing at the time. This makes her on edge, frustrated and angry. She does not want to feel vulnerable. All of her mask are helping her get what she wants.
She needs to make Teresa’s true self false so she can have peace about it. She projects her true self on Teresa. She wants Teresa to feel that no one will accept her not even God. She seeks to take away EVERYTHING that brings Teresa support and joy.
Good post, Kayswhims! Your knowledge about Destructive Narcissistic Personality Disorder helps me understand a relative of mine who mirrors Tsil to a T! I always summed Tsil up as being the evil jealous type! The nicer you are to someone like her the more her desire to destroy you is! I’m pretty sure that Tre has caught on to Tsil’s personality deficiencies by now. I’ll say that’s why they aren’t in a “good place” right now. People like Tsil are dangerous if they “admire” you!

I hope Teresa has caught on by now. She has so much support from people around her. TSIL has a trail of wounded hearts around her. She can not be happy and at peace with any of the support she has managed to gather because they are supporting what they think she is, not who she really is.
TSIL can not take away everything Teresa has. She wanted her false self to be on display. She was not expecting so many people to put her under a microscope. She can not control everything. Fame Whorgas has become her unknown itch she can not scratch. Truth is here that she can not push under a rug.
Wow, Kay. I’m floored by your grasp of her PD. I had my life ripped apart by not one but multiple NPDs and I am barely breathing from it…I’m getting better but, it is a very difficult road even with a wonderful support system and, I have Fame and Stoopid’s blogs to help work it out and keep my mind away from the horror show I allowed them to make of my life.

Buck, I also found one of those tweets biased in favor of Teresa’s brother. Where did the rumors originate? [Edited out by Fame – sorry Pippi] Heather said she can’t speak for the Manzo or Laurita tea in the article, so obviously she is not the all seeing eye. Kung-fu has made many valid points which are reasonable and eye opening. Everyone is demanding truth and proof yet when someone does “come out of the woodwork” with info they get pooh-poohed. We all know much of what Kung-fu said has been floating around the blogasphere as well as archived here at Fame for a few years. However Kung-fu’s chronicle makes sense and has connected many dots. Therefore I am not going to reject the Lipstick Alley expose`.

Heather has been Teresa’s friend for five years. She knows the facts as they’ve been told to her. Did she grow up in the hood, seriously I’d like to know if Heather grew up in Teresa’s home town? If she did grow up in the hood I’ll give her tweets more merit, especially concerning Joey in his youth. [Edited out by Fame – sorry Pippi] but I’m not going to take everything she says as gospel Kung-fu’s expose` is the most riveting read that I’ve seen in a hell of a long time on any site. Whether true or not it was some tasty tea.
We should not take everything someone says as gospel. I do not completely trust anyone but God, and that goes for my own heart. I pray my heart does not deceive me. We test things and wrestle with them to seek the truth. When I say I want the truth, I do not mean someone is lying to me. Sometimes there are no hard facts to support the truth. A case can be made based on other details that can be pulled together. I also know that I lie is easily embraced if it is twisted with the truth.
Buck Henry. I agree with you. Kung fu was pretty detailed it wasn’t just bs. Heathers comments sound like fluff damage control. It just makes me go hmmm. Don’t like Melissa at all, actually can’t stand her but why does everyone think teresa is so innocent. To me it shows time and time again it’s tit for tat. They both do things and say things about each other. They both care so much about their image and do damage control whenever anything about them is exposed. Like joe g phone conversation. Hence the damage control this season to make it look like their marriage is all good. I do think this season Melissa is shown for what she is so she is doing massive damage control via blogs.
Right – Now that Teresa and JoeGu is indicted for 39 counts of fraud – it makes Kungfu version of events more feasable.

The army comments are only a ploy to get people who support Teresa to shut up. Soldiers are trained to fight an enemy, that is TSIL’s method not Teresa. Do not let a DNP like TSIL twist it. Teresa is a strong woman. Whatever comes her way, she tackles and overcomes it. Hurt that is deeper, like betrayal, takes longer.
I don’t know the story behind TSIL hanging up on Gia. I know Gia speaks her mind.
The KungFu lipstick alley thing could be somewhat fake, but a lot of it matched up with things written in comments or other blogs… For example, way back when on some blog where it was clearly the sisters/Melissa commenting, someone else was like “I slept with that pig Joe Gorga. I had no idea he was married until I saw the show.” which the KungFu source also references.
I think Heather– along with Teresa– will never admit any of the “scandalous” things written about Juicy or her brother out of protection. But who knows what’s true and isn’t?
Exactly, GG. Alot of what has been posted at LipstickAlley has been readily available and out there on other blogs and also lifted from commenters. It is a collaboration of both of these and, possibly other sources such as tabloids and newspaper articles, being spun around and then presented as new and juicy “tea”.
I agree. And posting inferred 2009 newspaper articles about political infringements is not a source, to me. The articles weren’t indicting the Manzos, etc. New Jersey corruption in govt and politics is not news! :-)!

Whether it is fake or not, at least the info is getting out there. I DO wish they would credit their sources though. There is very little there that hasn’t been posted by Fame…definitely agree with that.
I have been a follower of Fame since the beginning. Fame is who I trust. Teresa is a stand up hard working mom. Super fun reading and seeing the truth come to light. Good things are going to happen. Heather is super! My heart breaks for Juicy’s mom she didn’t deserve any of the crap TSL spewed.
I remember reading a previous blog in which Joe called up Teresa angry because of the rumors that were floating about his wife and that Teresa didn’t ‘warn’ them about this. I find Joe and Melissa such hypocrites.

I respectfully disagree. Dr V’s style is relating on another’s “level”. She dressed very “Jersey Shore” and spoke the lingo to break down barriers.

Melissa was useless in the kitchen, all you saw her doing was drinking and talking about getting drunk.
Teresa’s eyes always give her away. She looked so completely forces and her eyes registered her suck it up and apologize expression. Bravo can force , frankenbyte and a script a bang load of kumbaya but as we know nothing has been legitimately repaired . The bottle’s label is blocked out – now from what I understand, Bravo is providing the show as a platform to promote the housewives’ products. If Melissa is still promoting Voli, the label would probably have not been blocked out. Actually, the bottle doesn’t look like a Voli bottle.
I rewind the DVR to look to see if it was Voli, but alas I was disappointed to find out that it was blurred out. If she was still promoting the drink they would have made sure that the label showed.
My husband said she was drinking Grey Goose! He got out the bottle we have and I have to agree with him.
I think it was Voli. I will have to watch it again but I think the Grey Goose printing would have shown more. And I seem to remember a yellow line around the top of the bottle when she was drinking from the bottle? Voli has that but Grey Goose doesn’t.
When they are having dinner, the label is blocked out, but you can see Tre’s “picture” on the bottle. It was Fabellini. They were talking about peach and raspberry. I don’t know why they blocked out the name, but they left her picture without being blurred. I think it’s funny that TSIL was getting drunk on the same Fabellini that she was bashing earlier.
I didn’t pay much attention at dinner because I thought they were still drinking what they were when they were cooking. Like I said, I will have to watch it again.

Hhhhmmmm…. Bravo better tread lightly now. I think that people will start to come forward and expose TSILFN(fn=for now, until they divorce in a few years) for who and what she is. I hope so too. I’m incredibly tired of all the bashing, arguing, drama, naming and blaming Theresa for everything. Honestly, Bravo, enough is absolutely enough. TSIL is and will go no where in life after the show. Put Theresa in a better light and re-cast the entire show, save for Theresa. I don’t care if Caro was/is/has any connection or affiliation with the mafia. i agree LOVE juicy even more now! he had a wisdom and sensitivity under the tough guy essense to him during the talk with tre, how basically they should be the first to extend the olive branch to chris/jac. i do like how he basically hugged TB and missy in this/ again showing he is the bigger person. i do NOT like how basically tb and missy esp. didnt have to own up to their part in this, but hey at least tre/juicy will be better people for it ( trying to fix things).

what was up with her dissing rosie, ( leaving her hanging when rosie asked for high five) OR saying those sexual innuendos to rosie at the dinner table ( juicy fuzzy peach anyone?) is it just me or in past episodes it seems like missy flirts with rosie, well i cant call it flirt, more like a “im so hot, you want me but cant have me”? and the one episode where that one chick was flirting back with rosie-in the hottub, missy made a snarky comment in her TH about rosie having to wipe the drool off ( jealous much missy?)
AND why is it that missy had to go tell jackie about the promise tre made to caroline( about doing the trust excercise with jac?) why pray tell was it missys business to just insert herself in that and tell jac unless its a subtle pot stirring??
Because she has to get to Jax first and “prepare her attitude” before Teresa can make any postive movement. She lost her footing when everyone seemed to be supportive of Teresa again. She had a talk with her husband before he met with Teresa in the Left Out epi It is the same thing. That is why she says Teresa “mindfucks”, she is projecting her true self on Teresa. Just look at how crazy and unraveled everyone was and is towards Teresa after TSIL became part of their lives.

It sucks that Teresa and Juicy had to apologize to TSIL & TB, but I am glad they did only because now they have bent over backwards and done EVERYTHING they could possibly do, and on camera, to make nice with those two and get the situation moving.
I am a member of a boy-dominant family, therefore I am infinitely fascinated with Teresa and her pack of little girls. They are kind of like a Barbie Dream House come to life. I really want to just watch them without all the BS. An episode without the Giudice girls is a sad Sunday night. : (

Oh, I am okay with them apologizing Princess – i am not okay that, once again, TSIL and TB are not being held accountable for any of their actions. We didn’t hear one from them – for anything.
I just wonder if there weren’t apologies all around, but only the Giudices’ apologies were aired. That way, with the edit, the viewers can rally around Teresa and Joe as being the bigger, more mature family members, and have even more reason to trash the Gorgas. Puts a little more shine on Teresa’s halo, and a little more flame to the feet of the Gorgas. I think producers are definitely on Teresa’s side this season.
This is what I was thinking too. Teresa is clearly coming across as the better person.
Hmmm…thing is, I honestly don’t think the Gorga’s apologized. I understand Bravo wanting to give T the ‘good edit’ but I don’t see how showing the Gorga’s apologizing would have hurt this scenario. By the Gorga’s not shown apologizing, just gives the anti-T fans the right to say, ‘see, we knew YOU were 100% the problem, not the Angels of God.’ Maybe some will see T as the ‘bigger’ person, but I think most will reprieve TSIL & TB and say, ‘I’m so sorry we ever doubted you.’
Maybe I’m just being pessimistic but from reading the Bravo comments since this season started, I don’t think I am.
That is the magic of Bravo, they are masters at playing it both ways. Remember, this season all the viewers will be happy.

Teresa and Juicy have shown that they are willing to keep reaching out to mend the family. This can not be denied. TSIL and TB do not want Teresa or Juicy to be the hero and take credit for mending anything.

Here’s the problem with them being the only ones apologizing: TSIL, Carol & Jacko fans will still call T & Juicy fake, although these 2 did what these fans’ve been screaming for for them to do for 2-1/2 seasons (although T’s apologized constantly before this ep but no one will acknowledge this since the victim(s) of her evil doings didn’t accept it), and TSIL & TB will still say that the Giudice’s are fake and that they don’t trust them. Same old song. They can’t win for losing and it’s a shame. 😦
I haven’t watched the ep yet but it sounds like nothing’s been resolved, really. Sorry, but I just don’t trust that the Gorga’s really accepted this apology.

Aww thanks Elemcee. I’m losing the weight but not exercising like I should…I’m not toned at all and I concentrate way too much on cardio and need to add some strength training. 4.2 pounds now — but that’s from not eating dinner and drinking myself sick last night 😦 I am a complete idiot sometimes. Regardless, I’m going to enjoy saying that while I can because I am sure I will have gained tomorrow morning 😀 I imagine it will take forever to lose the rest of it…we all know how hard the last 5 – 10 lbs is. If I ever get there, I might adjust it again…I think the weight I am right now just might be where I should be. I still hate my tummy but don’t think losing more weight will improve it too much. It looks like a skinny 90 year old woman’s ass. Very attractive. The excess skin and the stretch marks…UGH. I can tuck the skin in. Pregnancy really messed my tummy up BAD. I also have a pretty significant diastisis recti (separated abdominal muscles) from pregnancy so I have to be careful with ab exercises or it will make the pooch worse. LOL, who am I kidding…I hate ab exercises so there’s no “being careful”!
I will say this for her, she does look good. However, boxing in full make up, including lashes? Hilarious.

Had a lovely weekend up in Happy Jack! It was so nice and cool and a great diversion from reality (no connectivity whatsoever — :)). We got the trailer pulled out and set up and “Here comes the rain” and it rained and rained — it was lovely. Yesterday, it was ominous and we saw the lighting but we didn’t get rained on — yay as my daughter got her campfire. Yes at 21 she still wants a campfire and smores and she got that last night with her daddy. I have to admit, sorry if I’m rambling as hubby ran out of diet caffiene free soda for me and started feeding me on beer at 9am — just a bit buzzed.

Oh I almost forget the highlight of the weekend for me was that my hubby ran the generator to charge my kindle fire. He’s a cheap butt and never runs the generator unless I throw a biotch fit. Well my daughter forgot her books, so I had the book she wanted on the Kindle and let her read — Duck Dynasty and I read 1 book and got 1/2 way through another. The book that I did read, JK’s new one under the pseudonym sucked IMHO. I’m really liking James Patterson’s Second Honeymoon.
PS — the only other time I’ve gotten hubby to run the generator is in the summer when it’s hot and he wants a little nookie.
I just read the second book from the Eve triology by Iris Johansen but now I have to wait until October to finish reading the last book, Silencing Eve. 😦

I’m watching the second showing of RHONJ and their therapy with Dr. V is annoying. Where is the apology to Teresa?? Ummm, hello? TSIL and TB aren’t innocent of hurting Teresa. I thought it was ridiculous when Teresa said that we all have done things to hurt each other and TB shuts it down by turning it back on Tre. Why didn’t dr. V call him out on that. I don’t have a degree in psychology, so maybe there is a reason for overlooking… I’m going to go bother some of my psych friends about it.
I watched it again too and I think it has to be editing. There is not way on God’s green earth that it was all Tre. Those scenes were short and splotchy and we are seeing what Bravo wants us to vs. reality. But for Miss Andy to think that’s what the fan’s wanted to see WOW.
Maybe I am much more cynical than you two but I don’t think the Whorgas did apologize and Dr. V. was pulling out of Teresa and Joe what she was told to by the producers being the “good employee” that she is for Bravo. I don’t think the Whorgas would apologize anyway because they don’t think they have done anything wrong – ever.
I do tend to see things half full, at least that is what I’m told. If they apologized, I would have liked to see it instead of Bravo’s twisted sense of reality like MzJules said. However, I totally get your cynism. TSIL and TB are not the apologizing kind of people. I think Tre is the one that got the humble bone in that family.

Because it’s Sunday and also because I read Heather’s tweets, I think that the postings of KungFu should be set to the side. While some of the stuff is believable, some of it, if untrue, is just downright shameful.
BTW, there is one thing I believe, and that’s Al Manzo dropping the nickle on Juicy. I know that there is another blogger that has some connections to the police force in NJ and fully believes that this is absolutely false because officers would never do that. I don’t know how it is in NJ but here in Louisiana, the cops can and will bust you for anything they want to, when they want to and on the instruction of anyone with any political connections.
First time posting, but I am from NJ, and yes, the cops here are corrupt as anything, esp in Northern NJ. Honestly, the tea thrown at Al about the police is 100% believable. Politicians, public servants, yo’d be shocked how connected people are within their local bureaucracies. Bribes here ain’t nothing new.
I know Chicago is “cleaning” up but it is a pretty corrupt police force as well.
Yeah, I am pretty familiar with the Hoboken/Jersey City area. Two of THE most corrupt cities within NJ. “Cleaning” always just means damage control and trying to cover up tracks. So when this tea spilt about Al Manzo that was one thing I knew that could be believable, at least to some degree. NJ is way too small and any shady business or wrongdoing is always at risk to blow up eventually.
i have family in the police force and yes they do target people. i’ve had a speeding ticket fixed. when one of my sister’s date a new guy they run his name, that’s illegal. i don’t know about bribes but they are not high up on the food chain. but i’m sure it goes on. maybe not with them. but money talks, always has always will……….
Depends on the town. the more north you go in Bergen County the less corruption you find in both the municipal governments and the cops. Below Route 4 and East of 17 and you start finding corruption. Best I ever heard was an election in Fairview when about 5000 people more than actually lived in the town voted. Seems the local cemetary was very active at voting time.

Dwek facing fraud charges became an FBI informant to save his own ass.

I really do prefer the truth over a fabricated and “alleged” tale used to deceive others. Why fill a post full of allegations and innuendo if you KNOW the juicy truth?
Albert and Tommy Manzo may have DIRTY HANDS and I suspect they do but …. you have to ask yourself after reading all of this are they involved in this case? The hundreds of pages I’ve read say – no.

My husband and I lived right there and were constantly in the Coach House during that time. We also ate out a LOT all over Hoboken. I remember hearing rumblings of these things going on but we never came in contact with any of the politicians in public. My husband was in politics in Union City for many years (in the 80’s). He’s seen many unsavory characters and a few of the “good” guys too. He has so many stories to tell!

It seemed to me that maybe Heather was a little bit behind on her Tweets but I can’t be sure because I had DVRd it and was started watching it late. It could be that it is on delay? I know if I was one of those callers, I’d have a bogus comment lined up to pass the test then would get on there and bust someone’s balls. Maybe a delay to prevent something like that from happening?
I know someone who got through as a caller. They ask you what your comment is and, if it passes, put you on hold until it is your turn. I know someone else that passed but they ran out of time before they got to her.

Watching WWHL and liking the way Teresa is not giving in to Andy on some things. Looked like he was trying to get her to say that Caroline was instrumental in the big make-up and Teresa stuck to her guns about Caroline not being involved. Andy also wanted her to say she disparaged TSIL’s singing career and she told him he instigated it and she only answered about him regarding the lip-synching. Didn’t look like Andy was happy.

Before I write anything, I want to apologize to Joe Gorga and Teresa for my comment about them that was in bad taste. I’m talking about the comment when I told Chris that I hoped it wasn’t Teresa that Joe Gorga lost his virginity to when he was 9 years old. That was my sarcastic sense of humor coming out. It came from me thinking back to the awkward flirty comments Joe and Teresa made to each other last year waiting for their therapy session together. “You smell good.” and “Red is a sexy color.” It was kind of an inside joke between us all that Teresa and Joe were in love with each other and maybe that is where all the jealousy was coming from. That comment really wasn’t meant for public viewing, because it’s something my husband and I would joke around about in private. We have even teased Joe Gorga about it before to his face and he laughs with us. Do I REALLY feel they slept together? Of COURSE NOT! Don’t be silly. Moving on…
I LOVE date nights with my husband. It’s our down time that is just for us to share together! It’s when we can unwind and enjoy each other’s company without disruptions from kids or household chores. We catch up on things we may have missed about each other’s lives during our hectic week, we plan our future goals, vent to each other, offer each other advice, reminisce, and flirt. Food is something we really enjoy together.
I’ve known my husband since 1996. He was always my best friend and still is. We had one year off from each other while trying to date other people since we were long distance. When Chris came back around and proposed to me, I had no doubts he was the one. We are soul mates. We were engaged for a year and a half before we got married and we are still going strong! It’s kind of funny that I never heard that sock story before though. LOL! I’m glad he shared that with everyone. Please note neither one of us were talking about our son. Chris was telling a story from his OWN childhood so “don’t get it twisted.”
It was bothering me that Chris kept bringing up Teresa on our date, but I get why. We ARE in each other’s lives. I guess Teresa and Joe kept bringing me up too. LOL! I know that a lot of people were telling me that Teresa seems obsessed with me because she keeps talking about me on the show, but you have to understand that there is a long history between us and we were both hurt by each other. We both talked about each other. It’s what women do. We vent.
I remember feeling at that time that I hoped their family could all make amends and be happy with each other. I was also looking forward to not hearing about their issues anymore. I just really didn’t want them to try to drag me into their love fest by attempting to get me to make up with Teresa too. At the time, I couldn’t imagine Teresa being a part of my life again. I couldn’t trust her sincerity at all after hearing her say she hated me hours after she hugged me and told me she loved me. I felt like she always said she forgave people, but then she would regurgitate the same story all over again and throw it back into your face while she secretly hated on you. I didn’t feel good. I just wasn’t trusting Teresa at this time, and I still felt very hurt by her. When you go through a “break up” with a friend or boyfriend, you go through stages of hurt and anger. I was still feeling both, but I was doing my best not to even think about her at all. It was kind of hard when people kept bringing her up. It was making our situation really hard to avoid.

P.S. Caroline gets my deepest respect for keeping her word and driving hours away from her own family to help heal theirs. You can always count on Caroline. When you need her, she’s there.

Hey guys, how’s everyone doing? It’s all good in New Jersey, thank goodness for Dr. V!
I really enjoyed this week’s episode, we finally saw some progress and real communication between the Gorga and Guidice clan. I liked Dr. V’s direct approach attitude; she took no nonsense and called you out when you needed it. In other words, she understood them, she knew the mentality of everyone in the room, and she spoke their language. She worked miracles!
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived, and quite frankly if my driver hadn’t already left, I probably would have jumped back in the car and headed straight for Jersey! I felt that everyone was on the right track and in a better frame of mind at this point, and I didn’t want to complicate things by being there. Unfortunately I had no choice, so I took a back seat and tried to be as invisible as possible for the duration of the trip. One example of that was when the ladies took over the kitchen to prepare dinner. I thought that having a little alone time cooking together would be another chance for them to talk and bond, so I stayed behind on purpose.
I hadn’t realized that Kathy didn’t have a chance to speak with Dr. V until I watched the episode. I felt bad about that, because I know she would have liked the opportunity to be heard. I’m glad she took the time to address Teresa at the table, and I’m happy that Teresa responded in a positive way. Good for them.
Joe Giudice mentioned that he had a bottle of wine with him that he and my brother Chris made together and was hoping to share it with him at the castle. I thought that was a nice gesture on his part, and I explained to him that Chris and Jac weren’t there because they were concentrating on Nicholas and his needs. They were in the process of interviewing therapists and looking at schools for him. I appreciated that Joe admitted that he didn’t understand what Autism was, and to his credit he apologized for anything out of line that he might have said.
The trust fall exercise was unexpected and needless to say I was shocked when Teresa asked me to be her partner! One surprise deserves another, right? I meant what I said to Teresa about leaving my family behind in the healing process. Teresa called me for help, and I was there for her. I know that Teresa and Jac had unfinished business and hurt feelings that needed to be addressed. What better way to get this done than through the ultimate challenge! I knew Teresa wouldn’t say no, now my only problem is telling jac what I did! Who knows how this will end up, keep watching folks.

Oh yeah, according to Andy and Caroline, Dr. V is the next best thing since sliced bread. Of course they do! Can it be any more blatant that Dr. V was a Bravo plant – maybe HER show, L.A. Shrinks needs a little boost in the rating?! Not buying it!!
If Dr. V is such a miracle worker Caroline should book a session with her and work out the Laurita/Manzo conflict…

Caroline had no right to give Teresa that “ultimate challenge.” Can you imagine if Teresa had turned the tables on her and said the same thing to Caroline, regarding Dina?
This was about Teresa’s family healing. Jacs made it very clear she wanted no part of Teresa. One of the few things out of her mouth that I would agree with. While their friendship ended and obviously Teresa was deeply hurt, sometimes it is just better to leave things as they are. But instead, in order to make Caroline the hero and Jacqueline relevant, she was instructed as per storyline dictated by the producers, to throw down the gauntlet.
Clean up your own house, Caroline, before you feel the need to clean anyone else’s.
I so agree Jeannie. When she threw down that challenge & watching Teresa you could see the hurt and you could also see she wasn’t ready. Sometimes it’s best to leave things alone & let it go. If in the future, Jacqueline & Teresa wanted to talk and put things behind them that it would have been when they were ready not when Caroline says it’s time. I still believe that these two are not in a good place it was all forced for the cameras and supposedly giving the viewers what they wanted.

I think it’s good, brave but good, that Heather is coming out. Finally after 11 on 1, Teresa has someone willing to stand up for her and without wanting something in return à la Kim D, the Greeks.
I’m just rewatching the end of the fight again, sans busy baby and what struck me was TB finally admitting his hate for Juicy (sorry Princess, he’s mine). Forget about the 2 years of accusations about the breakdown being because Teresa dislikes TSIL (you’ve converted me!) he’s finally said what we all know – he has a weird oedipus thing with Teresa. Juicy took away one of the ladies who looked after him, she got busy with her life and her children, he stop being the focus of attention: first child “syndrome”. He admitted as much at the therapy session. This child is happy to wallow in his hate, he is consumed by it.
He sat there crying out of embarrassment. He couldn’t own his own behaviour “you’ve turned me into a bum like you”, TSIL in his ear – she wears the pants, she puts things into his head – why is she concerned with Teresa’s endorsements? What we have here are two people who were mollycoddle, who have an inflated sense of entitlement, jealous that someone has more.
TB and TSIL relationship feeds off jealousy whereas Teresa and my Boyfriend have a real friendship.

TSIL has never wanted to stay out of it, she stokes the fire whereas Juicy offers actual support.
As for this whole KungFu business – good investigating Calypso. I like my “tea” to be supported by fact not hearsay.
Someone pointed out here that both TSIL and TB are the babies in the family – last born and as you say, “mollycoddled”. I have seen, several times, that this combination in a relationship, is a recipe for disaster and usually does not end up well.
And as you say, TSIL will never keep her nose out of Teresa and TB’s relationship. If they were to truly reconcile, she would have a much harder time controlling his every thought and move. Like Teresa said, TB needs to grow his balls back but TSIL will continue nipping them off as long as she can in order to stay “relevant”.
TSIL even said something along the lines of be in control of him – I’ll try and find the mark on my iTunes.
14 min mark. She doesn’t trust them together….. I don’t think his behaviour to Teresa could get much worse, even Rosie knew that. Gawd I want to give Ritchie a clip around the ears. was just reading wacko jacko’s blog on bravo, that lady is a whack job for real. she apologizes then tries and justify why she said the bad things that she said about Teresa and her brother while throwing everyone else under the bus saying it was a inside joke with all of us. Chris needs to hurry and get that lady to a mental institution. If you ask me nick may be better off than her. That lady is cray-cray. she really hates TEresa’s guts and she knows it, Caroline wants Teresa to make up with Jacqueline because she knows without Teresa neither she nor wacko have a story line. Caroline hates Teresa too and you can tell by the way that witch Lauren behaves. They are looking for job security now. I feel that some of the things said about Joe Gorga is true and Teresa is protecting him, she’s protected him his whole life and he’s ungrateful, but you can tell that he is a little off mentally. Melissa is just malicious, thats her new name malicious, she is just poison
Caroline and Jac clearly sided with the wrong people last season, and right, they do realize it now. I think they thought they could force her to leave, or Bravo maybe to can her. But Teresa makes the most money (just Bravo salary only) which makes her the least expendable. Caroline is seeing that now and clamoring to be filmed with her.
Joe Gorga being off mentally – there IS something about him that isn’t right. There are some scenes he is in where he just does not look like he is grasping what is going on around him. I don’t know what it is. But I noticed it a couple of times when he was on the couch with Teresa, and when the cameras were on him alone when they were ice fishing. He seemed like he just doesn’t get what’s going on.
Yeah they thought that they could team up and get her off, remember that’s what happened to Danielle but Danielle was not a fan favorite. So now that they see what the business is they are trying to jump back on the money train. CAroline thought that she would become the lead on the show and everyone else would be kissing up to her to film with her to get air time. Wrong… Kathy knows that Teresa really has no interest in making up with her and it could be because of Richie alone. So she’s feeling the hurt more than anyone because she already knows she on the chopping block and Melissa could care less about Kathy, she just used her to team up against Teresa.

OK. Did you ever think this would actually happen?!
Thank you Jesus for Dr. V! She really is as incredible as she seemed. The woman was born with a gift to cut through the bullsh–. When I first came in, I was completely fed up, but Dr. V was able to break down our walls. She looked each of us in the eye and said, “Sit down, shut up, and listen.” She got right down to it. She was 100% correct that we need to communicate better, listen more, yell less, and discuss our issues face-to-face, not behind each other’s backs.
Dr. V. told us that our family should be a unified front and not to allow outsiders and non-family members to tear apart what we are working so hard to rebuild. I was honest when I told Teresa that I was willing to meet her half way. We have both done things wrong. All Joe needed was to hear his sister say that she did do some things to hurt us. He was done after that. We were both ready to move on, and I am glad we did.
Dr. V reiterated that our whole family should trust and rely on each other as we have in the past. In Season 3, when Teresa felt uncomfortable that Monica was at our Christmas party, we asked her to leave. No question. No explanation. Done. During the trip to California last season, when Teresa and Caroline were having trouble and Teresa wanted to leave, Joe and I left with her. Again, no question. At the end of the day, trust is going to take more time to repair, but we have to have each other’s backs, and Dr. V reminded us of that.
Watching this episode put me back to that day and I want to hold on to that positive feeling. When people hug and make up, for me, it’s done. The slate is clean. You can’t forget everything that happened, but you start from a new baseline each time. A new beginning is a new beginning. When at peace, there’s nothing you could do to make me start up again. As Joe said, “She’s easy.” Peace is my natural set point. If I’m forced out of that place, I don’t feel right until I can get back there.
As soon as we finished our session with Dr. V, I was ready to have some fun. I drink to celebrate. The fighting was over! Let’s party! I might have had a little too much vodka that night, but I was happy that we all made up. I just wanted everyone to have a good time. I can’t believe the conversation I was having with Rosie at the table! I don’t think I’ll ever look at a peach the same way again. Joe and I laughed watching this episode. Laughing is SO MUCH better than crying.
I have to say that Caroline showed how much she truly cares about our family. Driving all those hours knowing she was coming into a bad situation. Even though she ended up just spending time with us, we all appreciated it. It really showed her character and devotion as a friend to our family. Thank you, Caroline, we love you!
So glad to have turned a corner on the show. I hope that this episode is a good reminder to everyone on what we need to be doing to stay in this good place. We are family. And family is what matters most in the world.

This episode was also a good reminder and an eye opener to the fact that neither TSIL nor TB ever said they were sorry to Teresa and Joe for anything they have done.
Yeah, we all can tell how you are keeping what you “learned” from Dr. V in the forefront and doing your best to maintain that united front, as well as face to face time with each other – not. Your previous blogs where you hurl accusations at Teresa about events in real time, not what was happening at the time of filming, disprove what you are trying to spin with this crock of crap.
Oh, and you admit you drink to celebrate – well, maybe you should pass that information on to your nanny/sister Lysa who tweets you hardly ever drink. Another crock of crap. When will you people just give it up?
If “Dr.” V is indeed of Italian descent, she would know that many European (Italian, Russian, etc.) immigrant families treat the sons (Joe Gorga) as princes, and the women they marry (Melissa) as outsiders and wannabes who will never be good enough for their precious sons/brothers. Teresa admitted it herself–she and her Mother did “EVERYTHING” for Joe Gorga. It’s kind of a sick, too-close-for-comfort relationship that these mothers and sisters have with the sons. No, it’s not sexual, but they make it SO hard for a son’s wife to enter the family and feel welcome. I know–I experienced it myself–my ex-husband was of Russian/Eastern European descent, and his family was completely alien to me. My parents are both from Germany (I was born in the US), and are extremely progressive, whereas his family was terribly judgmental and insular. Every move and comment I made was judged, dissected, and reported back to my ex-husband. Being the awful husband he was, he always sided with his family against me. I tried so hard to be agreeable, always walked on eggshells around them, but apparently they didn’t care that they were damaging our marriage. Good riddance. So, I do have some empathy for Melissa, no matter what her background is, because I think they put her through the wringer, which they shouldn’t do if they respect Joe Gorga’s marriage.
We cant assume that you are the same kind of wife as TSIL. Personalizing this is to be expected but I’m curious…did your husband build you a Mcmansion so that you could be a poser? Do you buckle your kids in their car seats or let them ride around unrestrained? Did your husband use his parents house as collateral and then lose said home? Do you meet up for lunch with old bfs? Do you tweet endlessly along with your siblings about taking dpown your SIL? Did you ever threaten to move and blame a family members kids for “future bullying?” Did you imply that your SIL’s husband was cheating? Do you lie constantly about everything? If not you were probably indeed mistreated. I don’t blame you for being bitter. I do however blame TSIL.
I married into an old-school Italian family. My husband was a prince. I earned my place as his princess; by showing respect, while my husband had my back when he felt it necessary.
This not the case with TSIL and her husband.
You know if anyone ever made accusations about me and my sis-in-law said to me “lets go confront this person.” I would be glad she had my back and together we could stop the rumors. Why is TSIL so afraid to confront people like the bald guy or Jan. She knows these people are telling the truth. Her face when Teresa said lets confront jan and Dr. Vagina agreed with her was priceless….

Umm – that is like when TSIL was trying to prove her financial situation and her house was not in jeopardy and she went on that interview challenging people to look it up on the internet. What?! It’s all over the place on the internet that clearly the Whorgas are not financially sound and that the house, in fact, is in jeopardy.

Just viewed it, uncanny how Melissa can straight out lie and not miss a beat. Then she starts to defend her sisters by saying if it were Melania and Gia you would want them to have each others back. But no one can have Teresa’s back? The bottom line is Melissa’s sisters were badmouthing Teresa before Melissa was even on the show. Melissa condoned it.

I believe that the WWHL episode was totally pre-recorded as people stated before. Andy tweeted a pic that said “Last mean in Italy! Teresa & Dr. V tonight!” So there is no way in hell that he could’ve made it back to the US when it is about a 9 hour flight. IF he did, that might explain his bitchassness in that episode, maybe he was tired, that is why he was short. One thing for sure, T looked FABULOUS!!!!!!
After WWHL last night I tried to get on Bravo for their after show and it was unavailable. I don’t remember did he announce a live after show last night? I thought it was a given there would always be an after show.
If it is pre-recorded, it isn’t by much. Like I stated earlier, I know two people who have been callers…one actually made it on the show, one was on hold to be on and they ran out of time. I believe she might have been on the after show though. Via their facebook posts, it was happening pretty much live time.

Felt so bad for T the last two eps…her swollen eyes are heartbreaking. It’s a shame that she and Juice need the $$/exposure to put up with this BS…especially the BRAVO agenda displayed on WWHL/Dr. Vajayjay script.

I’ve been lurking for a long time. I am a huge Teresa fan. I don’t think her and juicy are perfect, but love them. I’ve been catching these tweets by Heather for a bit and at first I was happy that someone was defending T. Now, I personally think it has gone a little too far. Crossed the line a bit. It’s not going to help T and Mel at all for Heather to put all this personal info out there. But, I’m a hypocrite cause I love to read it….

i starting to feel like the cast watch an episode then come here, feel the water then write their blogs. in a weird way we are helping them do damage control. i’m i the only one feeling this. by the way this cast is nuts, except T but the longer she stays on this show the nuttier she becomes. when will this end, please give the Guidice’s a show of their own

After watching WWHL clearly Teresa and Melissa aren’t on good terms. Teresa is definitely trying and Melissa is still stirring the pot. Melissa is very hateful and watching her drunk showed her true form. Nasty!
