Joe Gorga and the Lauritas Head to Court on September 26, 2013 – Charges Reduced from Felony Assault Charges to Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct (Updated 9/5/2013)

April 30, 2013

s5 80

UPDATE 9/5/2013: According to NorthJersey.com on September 5, 2013, the assault and terroristic threat complaints against “Housewives” star Jacqueline Laurita of Franklin Lakes; her husband, Christopher; and Joe Gorga of Montville have been adjourned. The cases will now proceed in Ridgewood’s Municipal Court on September 26. The charges stem from a fracas at the grand opening of a salon in Ridgewood. The charges had been referred in April to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office for grand jury consideration, which returned the matter to Ridgewood for resolution last month. The case of John Karagiorgis of Paramus, who is charged with assault and making terroristic threats as well as three counts of harassment, was also adjourned until later this month. Karagiorgis claimed he was assaulted by the “Housewives” trio when cameras were rolling for the Bravo television series. He said he sustained several injuries, including a head abrasion, when Jacqueline Laurita allegedly clubbed him with a stiletto heel.

UPDATE 8/24/2013: According to Celebuzz on August 23, 2013, a NJ court has decided the charges against Joe Gorga and the Lauritas should be downgraded from felonies to much lower misdemeanor counts. John Karagiorgis claims in his complaint filed in April and obtained by CB! that Jacqueline hit him multiple times on the head with her stiletto heel, while Joe and Christopher apparently “threatened to f**king kill” him and hit him repeatedly with a “closed fist.” Although John wanted those charges to be felony third degree crimes, the court said not so fast and quickly gave them all disorderly conduct offenses (equivalent to a misdemeanor charge). The stars apparently want the charges dropped, while the alleged victim, John, is prepared to keep fighting. All are expected to duke it out (legally) in court on September 5, 2013.

UPDATE 8/9/2013: According to RadarOnline, John “Johnny the Greek” Karagiorgis is looking into filing additional charges against Jac, Joe, and Chris. A source close to Johnny said “Johnny has said that he wants to file additional charges. He is going to possibly try and go after aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a weapon.” Johnny claims Jac removed her stiletto and bashed him over the head with it, causing him to sustain injuries. But it doesn’t end there. It seems that Johnny also wants to press charges against the network that caught the whole thing on camera — Bravo. “This fight was premeditated and then while it was happening the producers and security didn’t step in to stop anything. They were promoting the violence,” the source said. As it stands, all four parties involved are facing charges of harassment, assault, and terroristic threats. [WetPaint]

UDPATE 7/24/2013: According to The Bergen Record, court officials confirmed Wednesday that the criminal cases against Jacqueline Laurita of Franklin Lakes, her husband, Christopher, and Joe Gorga of Montville would proceed in Ridgewood’s Municipal Court on Sept. 5, starting at 4:30 p.m. The assault and terroristic threat charges — stemming from a fracas at the grand opening of a salon in Ridgewood — had been referred in April to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office for grand jury consideration. But two weeks ago, the matter was returned to Ridgewood for resolution. Also due in court Sept. 5 is John Karagiorgis of Paramus, who is charged with assault and making terroristic threats as well as three counts of harassment. Karagiorgis claimed he was assaulted by the “Housewives” trio when cameras were rolling for the Bravo series. He claimed he sustained several injuries, including a head abrasion, when Jacqueline Laurita allegedly clubbed him with a stiletto heel. In April, Ridgewood’s municipal judge found there was enough probable cause for the charges against the four to proceed.

UPDATE 6/7/2013: A source tells Fame-Whorgas that Bravo only turned over one “tape” to the court although three cameras recorded the brawl. Apparently, Bravo is claiming that at least one cameraman was knocked over in the brawl and the recording was damaged and irretrievable.

According to The Bergen Record on April 24, 2013, charges against Joe Gorga and Chris and Jacqueline Laurita, and the counter complaint against John Karagiorgis, s5 58will be heading to grand jury; however, the hearings have not yet been scheduled for any of the defendants involved:

Criminal charges lodged against three cast members from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” as well as the man they fought with [John Karagiorgis], have been referred to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, an official confirmed Tuesday.

The cases against “Housewives” star Jacqueline Laurita of Franklin Lakes; her husband, Christopher; and Joe Gorga of Montville are currently “being prepared,” according to Maureen Parenta, a spokeswoman for Prosecutor John L. Molinelli, and will be presented at some point to a grand jury for indictment.

Those charges — assault and terroristic threats — stem from a bloody attack at the grand opening of a Ridgewood clothing boutique in late March.

John Karagiorgis of Paramus claims he was ambushed by the trio during the event, where cameras were rolling for the popular Bravo series. Karagiorgis claims he sustained several injuries in the incident, including a head abrasion — the result of Laurita clubbing him with one of her stiletto heels, he claims.

The charges against Karagiorgis — three counts each of harassment and assault, and two counts of making terroristic threats — have similarly been referred to the prosecutor’s office for consideration.

Earlier this month, Ridgewood’s municipal judge found there was enough probable cause for the charges against the show regulars and Karagiorgis to proceed.

Parenta said grand jury hearings had not been scheduled yet for any of the defendants involved.

Oh I’ve got a tone of those from growing up… The operative words being growing up. I’m not saying don’t have fun but if you’re setting yourself up as a moral guiding light, and responsible mother you don’t publish photos like that of yourself. She tweeted them! You don’t see Angelina Jolie posting photos like that as an ambassador (not that I’m a fan) and she had a very rebellious past!

Yeppers have to agree with you Sackem. Forty something is a transitional period for many women. I don’t have a problem with this with tue exception that Jax puts herself out there and wants to be taken seriously as a parent and an advocate for autism . Fine to do this but be private about it and practice boundaries. Except she has none. I know I am old fashioned but I find this unacceptable on so many levels.

I agree. I have been exceedingly harsh when it comes to Jacqueline solely because she spent the entire 3-part reunion unnecessarily totally trashing TG and JG, but any woman who can really ham it up and make silly faces for photos is really cool.

It is about to get real for all parties. Jax and Chris must be bleeding attorney’s fees, the bankruptcy,a home in pre-foreclosure and now criminal charges. JoeyG is going to have to clean a lot of pools to pay his tab down at Dewey, Cheatem and How. I wonder if they will all agree to a plea deal if charges are filed?

    • LifeIsGood
      May 1, 2013 at 6:41 AM

i wonder if Bravo is picking up the tab for the legal fees? Since the incident happened while they were “working”, I’m sure they will be named in any civil suits that will surely follow. Wouldn’t it help Bravo in the civil case if the criminal charges are proven unfounded?

      • May 2, 2013 at 10:50 PM

A civil suit is a different standard. The criminal charges would help with a civil trial but not having them wouldn’t exactly hurt it either. OJ was not guilty of murder but was found guilty in the wrongful death civil suit. It’s interesting to wonder if Bravo is picking up the tab however. They may be since they were filming. But it wouldn’t have to do with worries about the civil suit.

    April 30, 2013 at 6:56 PM

And there you have it folks the self appointed face Face of Autism. I’m sure Princess Di, Jakie O and Hepburn would be taking cues from her.

Gessie, I read your legendary comment and I’m with you, none of their testimony adds up. I really hope they are made an example of like everyone says Juicy should be. Was it Chris who called him the fool but fighting in front of rolling evidence gatherIng cameras in a room full of people then rearranging the truth isn’t.

One of the many things that bugs me about this situation is that Joey is sliding under the radar publicly. As has been mentioned why would Little Joey come out swinging and make the claims he’s making about cyber stalking after happily having a sit down with The Greek’s wife to rattle the Teresa story AND meet with The Greek himself to try and put an end to Missy’s cheating story? He wanted to be seen as a big man publicly defending her honor when in fact he just looks like a joke. I guess ego is a funny thing.

If Jac was acting in self defense, don ‘t you think JTG would have been stopped by Bravo security before he reached her? Jeez they film in cordoned off areas where it is documented that people are told not to approach – did you see the wide birth of the table at PFS? JTG would have to get through say a minimum of five people to get to her: crew, producer, security. They don’t get those shots from filming from the orher dide of the room!

This was orchestrated although perhaps the violence was not premeditated. As the ubiquitous source told RT, they are out sourcing the drama this season because we the viewers we’re tiring of the family war. Bravo prodded their little puppets just enough for an explosive moment – who was the idiot who threw the first punch?

    • Jeannie5233
      April 30, 2013 at 8:07 PM

I completely agree Sackem and I also agree with gessiewtf’s assessment as well. I think it was Joey who threw the first punch and he has hardly been mentioned in any of the follow-up articles.

I also believe that this whole scenario, just like EVERYTHING else we will see when Season 5 airs, was Bravo fueled. Problem was, Bravo underestimated alcohol-infused anger turning into rage. Bravo didn’t count on it getting out of control – bad mistake. Actually, they should have known better, given previous experiences, especially with Joey’s horrific temper, i.e. our first introduction to this wonderful character at his very own son’s christening.

It is my hope that if these three did indeed do what is being said, the book and then some is thrown at them. It is my greater hope that Bravo is held fully accountable as well.

      • Sackem
        April 30, 2013 at 9:19 PM

It could have been the hook for the season like the Christening and PFS was and it backfired. The people in the blogosphere don’t want to see it! I know I just wanted all the hypocrisies exposed as resolution but these people are too bloody minded to be humble.
In essence Missy is suffering the same course as Teresa did – the promise to expose in return for a place on the show, the difference is Missy’s cupboard is choc full of dirty little secrets, what did Teresa have? A period of financial instability like many after the GFC ( agreed to a greater extent and perhaps not so squeaky clean) and a dislike/ distrust of her sister inlaw which again, many people have – me included. What’s Missy got? Cheating, stripping, theft, partying, social climbing, money grabbing and opportunistic, manipulative behavior with a family ready to go to war over a comment about a chair so they to can get some screen time. I just wanted her intentions to be exposed without a shadow of a doubt but this is becoming a nasty convoluted circus. I’m sure Teresa isn’t so innocent this season but I call that a knee jerk reaction at being treated as a stepping stone. I really do hope she plays the game and milks her position as much as she can, just as Missy tried because the show will be on the shelf before you know it.

I almost hope Bravo is held more responsible than anyone else. Seems to me like a total set up.

I know Teresa and Juicy are not perfect, but seriously…the general viewing audience needs to wake the hell up and read between the lines. There is enough information out there for any idiot to figure out that all is not as it seems with the rest of these clowns. Seems to me that ALL of Teresa’s dirt has been aired, printed, and dissected. Do I think she has owned up to all her mistakes? No. Do I think she should? No. She’s a smart cookie and plays dumb well. Good for her! I don’t get why Bravo thinks all these other, ahem, ladies, should be given constant passes on all their hoodlum-type behavior and mentality.

Next, if I have anything to do with autism, you could bet your ass I am going to be Twittering, Facebooking, Instagraming, Keeking (don’t even know what that is), etc. about how I do NOT support or agree with anything Ms. Jackaloon has to say about autism. That poor little baby… To give Melissa F-ing Gorga a Jesus platform, let alone, Jacaloon an autism platform, to me, takes all the entertainment factor out of these shows. These shows are ENTERTAINMENT, not educational / documentaries (well, maybe like those weed documentaries some of us have watched…). Bravo needs to remember its place and audience. Not that we are all a bunch of uneducated hilljacks, but I don’t think any of us are tuning in to be educated. Nothing against hilljacks…I’m one.

Sorry for the rambling. I’m on the vodka a little bit tonight…been a long day 😀

And, Sackem, YES…Melissa was a damned fool to expose herself with Bravo with all the skeletons in her closet. Bravo is playing one hell of a card game. Though I hate to see anyone destroyed, after what they have done to Teresa, I hope they force Melissa to lay it all out there too. And Jacaloon, Don Caroline, the Wakilies, blah, blah, blah. Let’s play!!!

    • April 30, 2013 at 9:35 PM

Legendary comment, Lol Sakem! This case will drag on forever, probably until JTG runs out of money. Bravo is probably paying for Joey, Chris and Jackaloon’s lawyers. If Bravo wants to stay out of trouble, they have to make sure that their employees are found not guilty. Otherwise their heads are in the chopping block as well. But Bravo is owned by NBC which is owned by GElectric, so I wouldn’t hold my breath. Bravo is so incredibly sleazy and they are playing a very dangerous game. Will they learn their lesson? He’ll, no. I just saw a commercial for the Kandi Burress spinoff . It was a brawl. Bravo thinks that we want to see violence and that it is the key to a successful show. Hopefully, there will be a stand up grand jury and an honest judge. But I wouldn’t bet the farm on it. What a scum fest.

Great comments from all. I am truly beginning to be frightened for younger generations. Violence has become socially acceptable almost prized behavior. The fixation with brawling , fighting has God only knows what effect on young minds. The massacre at Newtown, the violence in Boston, loners fantasizing about infamy. I am disgusted that Bravo is so insensitive. Viewers are increasingly desensitized to violence, vulgarity and low class behavior. Its become the norm to see these drunken idiots, shrieking and cursing, battling and brawling. What will it be next to up the ante? What will Bravo do next for shock value and ratings. IMO their is a huge correlation between violence onscreen and violence in society.

I Remember reading some articles sometime back where it was said that Bravo would feed everyone BS in their talkinghead segments to get them talking smack against the other cast members. I was thinking Johnny claims he was invited by Bravo to show up and all the gang says Johnnny was talking smack about Jac’s autistic son. – Could it be possible Bravo got that rumor in motion and these people took it further than Bravo thought they would?

    • Buck Henry
      April 30, 2013 at 7:33 PM

Yep, and they didn’t think that they would be so brutal. In fact they probably thought it would be a bunch of yelling back and forth and it turned out to be Punta Canta Laurita style. Chris has to worry about one thing and that is he has alot of issues waiting for him in regards to his financial situation. The irony to all this is that the Giudices where able to keep their financial issues from being filmed but the Lauritas may end up having to explain foreclosure and possible bankruptcy fraud to the viewers.

      • Aint Pittypat
        April 30, 2013 at 7:51 PM

I am sorry to disagree but are we watching the same show ? Juicy and Tre were filmed at their attorneys office discussing the bankruptcy. Season 2&3 were a series of lets make the Guidices look like fraudsters. I will never forget Richie the Jerk Wakile giving sonny boy a tour of the big ole gas station empire and lecturing his son about ahem, cough, financial responsibility. Smug much Richie? Especially considering that Richie was sued for ripping of Exxon Mobil. Oh yeah that was a brilliant move since they have an army of attorneys to sue chumps like Rich into Kingdom come. Then there was the man cave conference initiated by Shady Chris with his Wizard of Oz gang of flying monkees waiting with baited breath to trash their family and friends the Guidices. Carolyn bemoaning how Tre spent her money as if she, the Don, was personally in charge of Teresa ‘s bank account. How about the many head shaking heart to hearts ( to bad they Gorhas do not actually possess hearts) did Joey and MeGo have while they pondered why Teresa would not confide her financial woes. Then the culmination was the deck ambush. Care for a dagger anyone ? The better to publicly disembowel the Guidices?

      • Sackem
        April 30, 2013 at 8:04 PM

The irony for me is that they call the Giudices simple and aggressive – don’t see them getting caught up in this type of business. At every turn they unpin their arguments. The public is a mirror.

        • princessvodka
          May 1, 2013 at 12:44 AM

And all of that is what disgusts me. Seems to me that they have all made financial mistakes. Thing is, Teresa can bring on the drama…she’s got some huge shoulders, knows how to play Bravo’s game, and trusts that the viewers aren’t all idiots. And even if they are, they all love to hate Teresa, hate to hate her, hate to love her, and love to love her. She’s got some very loveable, real qualities that even most of the “not in the know” viewers can see. They also see her succeeding in most, if not all, ventures that she pursues. And she has everyone talking. Everyone likes a scrappler.

What are these other people successful at…”advice” books like Caroline and Melissa? Please… Dance tracks (Oooops…vocals) like Melissa? I could do that on a decent day just as the rest of you could. Autism activist? Scary. Cannolis? She weighs less than I do, I’m sure, but, don’t gain so much weight if your trying to sell dessert. Angry, violent lesbian? Rosie’s got that one on lockdown.

I just find it all sickening, most of all that I can’t wait to tune in and see how this all plays out…

      April 30, 2013 at 8:15 PM

JoE Gorgas true colors were clear when he confronted his sister after the siblings went to visit the relationship counselor. He went from zero to 60 in about 5 seconds flat, screaming at her about their parents living situation very publicly. She seemed very well practiced and very well skilled at handling baby brother’s sudden fury. There is something about a man who verbally abuses his sister and yet fails to turn so much as a hair when his elderly father is maligned. IMO Joey sees MeHo as his property, he owns her and she is chattel, property and he was not defending MeGo’s cough, splutter cough virtue by attacking Johnny. Joe was defending his reputation, his manhood.

        Completly agree with you PittyPat
Fredo was defending his manhood. Personally, I think steroids and fame have gone to his head along with the adoring hands and words of Lookers and her sisters. It is disgusting to me the way the sisters hang all over him. Last picture I saw of Lookers family at Easter (2 days after the fight) the sisters where cuddled up to him and Lookers was on the far side like an after thought.

According to Fame’s source, Joe Gorga and Richie went to see Johnny at work. I bet the three of them agreed to stage this fight for the tv. Bravo made foolish a mistakes because they have seen Joe’s violent behavior mixed with alcohol. Johnny does not have Bravo contract so he does not have to keep their secrets.

    • OldNJLady
      April 30, 2013 at 9:54 PM

I heard that the sit down with Fredo, Rich and Johnny was taped. I hope Johnny was able to get a copy for his defense,
Personally, I don’t think that Johnny was agree to stage a fight for the cameras. Johnny is a black belt and usually someone who has worked to earn that belt respects for fighting and will resist until left with no choice than to defend themselves. Johnny could have really hurt not only Fredo and Chris but all the security guards if he was there to fight.

      • Jersey
        May 1, 2013 at 9:31 AM

I heard it was not taped.

What I don’t unserstand is why the Greeks would go to the openiing. Since the producers are forcing the cast to get along with Teresa, we know a repeat of last year fashion show was not going to happen. The cast was not going to side with the Greeks against Teresa. This cast and Bravo needs Teresa for the show to stay relevent. Further if they have not given Penny a contract ny now , then you now they never were interested in them. They were playing the same card as the Gorgas, by willing to expose a castmember for fame.

          May 1, 2013 at 11:14 AM

Jersey you make many valid points. My disconnect begins when violence ensues and reaches this level. I know your comment was not endorsing what happened to Johnny K. It seems tho that others, particularly those involved in the bully beatdown, will justify their aggressive and physical reaction by blaming the victim. Huge difference between angling to be on a reality show and engaging in drama on social media and actual.violence. IMO that is where the rubber meets the road and everyone involved, all adults, should have walked away. ….. How can CrackerJacks ever tell Nick it is never ok to use your hands. Some children on the spectrum become frustrated when they cannot communicate or express themselves in a satisfactory manner and will often resort to varied levels of using physicality to express themselves.Jax can never tell her child or another human being that hitting or acting out is unacceptable or at least with any degree of authority. We resort to violence all to quickly these days . Obviously Jax, Joey and Chris acted like thugs and lost their Adult card with me. But as always I say this with all due respect for your opinion.

Chris Laurita is no stranger to misrepresenting the facts as is laid out in a letter sent to U.S. Magistrate Judge Andrew Peck. In that letter, it states that Chris Laurita, along with the other defendants, as well as their counsel, knowingly made false statements during discovery, several times, as to the true status of the termination for the RocaWear license.

Given this documented history of not being forthcoming with the truth, it would be reasonable to not believe Chris’ story about what happened at the Posche Brawl.

Joe Giudice was right. . . .Chris took such offense being called “shady” by Joe – I guess the truth hurts, huh?!

Congratulations moma! A baby boy!!! Oh, how lovely – I would like to share with you a poem given to me when my first grandson was born:

“”The Little One That Follows Me””

            A careful woman, I ought to be;
            a little one follows me.
I do not dare to go astray,
for fear they’ll go, the self-same way.

I cannot once escape their eyes,
whatever they see me do, they’ll try.
Like me, they say, they’re going to be,
that little one that follows me.

            They think that I am good and fine;
believe in every work of mine.
            The bad in me they must not see;
my life to them, must, an example be.

I must remember, as I go,
through summer’s sun and winter’s snow,
I’m building for the years to be,
for that little one that follows me.
            Author: Unknown

I know that all the little ones that already follow you, moma, and your newest addition as well, are given a shining example of what is best that can be found in the human condition through you. With love and best wishes to your entire family!

I hope that all 3 of them are found guilty. No one ever has the right to assault another person. Defend yourself yes but never start the assault. From everything I have read and heard each one of the laid their hands or in Jac’s case her shoe on Johnny without him saying or touching them first. All 3 of them need to be punished enough to learn a lesson. Reading about all their court cases, lawsuits and watching the 3 of them, especially Jac and Fredo act like they never do anything wrong I don’t think a simple slap on the wrist or fine will make an impact on them. If I was the judge community service would be in order for Fredo and Chris. Picking up garbage, cleaning up government parks and buildings from Sandy, helping to rebuild community centers lost to the storm would be perfect for them. They need to work 1 to 2 days a week for at least 6 months. It needs to really drag them down and interfere with their fun carefree life to have a lasting effect. Jac on the other hand needs to be sentenced to staying at home for a year complete with ankle bracelet and weekly drug testing. It would kill her to stay home but it might turn out to be the best thing for her sons or completely break her down mentally to get the help she needs to stop drinking and take drugs.
I truly hope that Johnny is found not guilty. Sure he said a lot of things on twitter about Lookers but he never said anything about Jac’s son or Chris. Johnny and Penny were the one getting the harassing phone calls not the other way around. Johnny and Penny both have been attacked by the voice of Marcos for the past 2 years. Most of the time the things that were said about Johnny and Penny were 100 times worst that all the facts and pieces of information Johnny and Penny said about Lookers on twitter. Johnny and Penny both know and have a history with Lookers unlike the voice of Marco which was going off 2nd hand information. Had the harassment of Johnny and Penny not started the first week of season 3 things might have died down quickly but instead the voice of the Marcos began an outright verbal, and visual assault with their words and pictures of Johnny and Penny, their kids and their businesses.

I have a feeling Bravo will settle out of court

        • Jeannie5233
          May 1, 2013 at 9:47 AM

The Bergen County prosecutor may not allow that. It depends on the charges and how serious they are. There is also rumors Bravo applied for the permits to film, were turned down, and filmed anyway. I don’t believe that will be looked upon too kindly. And, after watching what is on the filmed tapes that are being subpoened, the grand jury may move forward with charges. Either way, it will be interesting to see how all this unfolds.

  14. luvfamewhorgas
    April 30, 2013 at 9:25 PM

There must be some really compelling evidence for a prosecutor to present to the grand jury. Prosecutor’s are busy people and wouldn’t present without substanial (?) evidence. I have seen grand jury’s return misdemeanants and send it back to district court (Kentucky law). But for the most part they return felony indictments. But New Jersey law may be completely different. I do know one thing no one at the prosecutor’s office is answering to Bravo. These are “real” people with “real” jobs and they don’t have time to waste on foolishness.

On a side note almost everyone takes a plea deal. People rarely ever go to trial unless they are facing death or life imprisonment. And only then in hopes of a not guilty verdict or a lighter sentence. Not saying Juicy wont but more than likely they are using this time to work out an agreeable plea bargain. And in KY someone with Juicy’s charge would get probated. I do think they are making an example of him. I won’t be surprised if he takes a plea last minute that is very common. I think IF he gets sentenced to jail it will be for a determined amount of time as a condition of probation or they will “shock” him out. In KY that is called shock probation but NJ may call it something else. Basically they let you sit in prison/jail for up to 180 days (KY) then release you on probation because you have learned your lesson and promise to be good for the probated sentence.

    • Sackem
      May 1, 2013 at 12:20 AM

If Juicy gets a longer term than Joey & Jac there is something very off in the judicial system. Imagine if they’re cell mates!! There’d be no escaping each other and I’ve got a rio (rio grande= $1000) Juicy’s alpha!

Has anyone else caught the new trailer? I’m not sure if it’s because a) I’m stupid b) I’m a glutton for punishment or c) I still hold hope that Teresa gets some level of vindication, but I think I will watch to just see.

It’s a quick spot and from what I could gather, Kathy cries; Jacqueline is ranting/screaming into her cell phone then you must be guilty; Caroline said I really didn’t know the real Melissa or something along those lines; Teresa Hugs jJoey; they do a group at some sort of group huddle at an outdoor event; Melissa, while screaming, gets down on her knees at Teresa’s feet (oh yeah Teresa is screaming too) and bows to her — couldn’t make out what was said.

    It’s going to be interesting.

Yes, there are a couple of different promos being played on Bravo advertising the new show – I found the one with Melissa on her knees with Teresa standing and screaming over her disturbing even though I couldn’t make out what was being said either.

Auntie jac, i’m going to focus on the positive. You are innocent until proven guilty. Family knows the lies and trash tabloids from wetpaint, huffington post, CNN are all just malarkey. On a positive note, congrats on your spread in Elle magazine. xo.

    • Jeannie5233
      May 1, 2013 at 9:07 AM

Goldie – yeah, sure, she is “innocent until proven guilty”. Just like when your “Auntie jac” gave Teresa the benefit of the doubt – not. She pretty much crucified Teresa on camera for all the world to see with information based on rumor, lies and innuendo from “trash tabloids from wetpaint, huffington post, CNN”, playing both judge and jury. Back then, whatever Jacs was reading in the “tabloids” was the Bible and now it is “trash”? That’s a hoot! Thanks for the laugh! Too bad “Auntie’s” friend,Tom Murro can’t spin fast enough for her!

As I said before, what goes around comes around. Perhaps a lesson should have been learned here – if you keep taking without putting anything back, eventually there is nothing left. Jacs’ till is just about empty and a spread in Elle, at this point, sure isn’t going to help.

The chances are pretty good that Chris, Jac and Joe are going to get screwed as well a the Bravo producers that created this mess. There were plenty of people on E. Ridgewood Ave during the “incident”. Bravo didn’t have a permit which is a huge mistake. Johnny was mic’d by the Bravo crew so it was painfully clear that he was supposed to be there. This whole thing was a complete setup for ratings drama. He was kept outside for an awfully long time and the fight broke out within 10 minutes of his entering. He was attacked by the 3 and did nothing to instigate it. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s office is going to subpeona some of the crew from Moxie that was working as well as demand the video that Bravo shot for the Grand Jury. The Moxie staff has been “told” that they “saw nothing” – but is it really going to be worth it for some 20-something stylist to risk a perjury charge? The Moxie twins were hoping something like the brawl would happen to get them some more noteriety. They are also angling with Bravo to get a series so playing host to a staged fight seemed like a way to get in good graces. BIG mistake in letting this go down in Ridgewood. Lots of folks watch the show since its “local” – but we watch it as a freak show, not reality. Bravo is becoming persona non grata in so many places in Bergen County for all the crap they bring. It’s also kind of amusing to think that folks that live locally in Ridgewood, Ho-Ho-Kus, Saddle River, etc would actually wear Kim D’s hooker clothes. The whole concept of “Posche” opening in town is laughable. Kim does perfectly well in the tacky strip mall next to Annie Sez and the pet store…

    • May 1, 2013 at 9:24 AM

Very interesting info, especially about the Moxie staff being in on the setup, hoping for a brawl and some notoriety, and angling with Bravo to get their own series — then agreeing to say they “saw nothing”. The more we learn, the more it is obvious that Bravo setup JTG and instigated the fight by riling up Joe Gorga and the Lauritas (feeding them BS and serving then booze to exacerbate the tension) during the hour or more that JTG was made to wait outside. Thanks Saddle_River, and please keep us informed if you learn more!

Good Post. Ridgewood ia a very respectable community. The families has a more old money feel.. They are not flashy and don’t care for the trashy publicity that Bravo brings. Franklin Lakes is new moneytown with flashy mansions, while Ridgewood perfers to keep their existing victorian homes.

      May 1, 2013 at 3:03 PM

Thank you, Saddle River. More and more people are coming forward with info that JTG was not the instigator. It is so horrifying that the producers would do this. The show has not been good since halfway through the first season.

This may be a long post, as I have so much I wish to share with all of you, who I consider, my online family. Today was bittersweet. Max Anthony (named after Shelli’s grandfather, who died a few years ago) will be just fine.

For those who post or read here and do not believe in the power of prayer, I totally respect that you can find peace and solace in you life without it. I do not want to offend anyone for what they believe, live and let live is what I believe.

Shelli’s mother and father left the hospital last night, after they thought their daughter and grandchild were fine. We all traveled to the hospital this morning together. Eli and Libby were dressed in their special Big Brother/Big Sister clothes, both so excited to see their new brother. We all dashed to the nursery as soon as we arrived, so the children could see their little brother. He was not there.

The baby is in NICU, a place Eli and Libby could not visit. If we had seen Max before Shelli calmly explained to all of us why the ventilator, feeding tube, blood drawing vein, wires and monitors were there, we all would have lost it (we all discussed this riding home). We arrived at the hospital before 8 a.m. and now at 2 p.m. we finally see our boy, two people at the time. At this time he also has the eye mask on. When asked who the baby looks like, I answer, he has his dad’s feet and his mom’s lips. We really could not see his little face.

At this time the baby was expected to be on the ventilator until Friday and come home on Monday, considering the progress he would make during that time. We go down to have a late lunch and a trip to the gift shop. I callled a friend and put the baby on the prayer line on our way down.

When all was done and we went back up, my son the informed us that the ventilator might be removed tonight, as the baby started doing so much better. I ask that you all continue to pray. I so wish that our baby can come home with his mother on Friday. I know the pain of coming home without my baby.

The bitter, Eli and Libby we so excited to see their baby and could not. The sweet, our baby will be just fine and with your added prayers, he may get to come home with his mother.

Thank you all for your support and continued prayers.

    • May 1, 2013 at 7:51 PM

  25. May 2, 2013 at 11:01 PM

In actually, in response to a comment up thread about Bravo paying legal fees to possibly help them if there is a civil suit, it might actually hurt them instead. It could be taken as an acceptance of guilt by Bravo. They should probably stay far away from this. Not saying that’s what they’re doing however. I’m also not sure how I feel about whether Bravo should pay their legal fees. The Lauritas and JoGo are the ones that took it over the limit. Not saying that Bravo is not responsible in any way… they should know who they’re dealing with and know who they’re employing. They also push it to the limit so should expect that it will go overboard sometimes. Idiots… all of them.
