Reality TV is Fake, Producers are Puppeteers, and the “Talent” Makes So Little That They All Need Second Jobs

“I do have a job and yes, I spend money on Vicki! @vgunvalson #editedrealitytvisnotreal” – Brooks Ayers (‏@BrooksAyers), April 25, 2013, Twitter

“Hard to prove anything to fans that don’t realize that this is for entertainment only! #editedrealitytvnotreal” – Brooks Ayers (‏@BrooksAyers), April 27, 2013, Twitter

In her book, Reality Bites Back, Jennifer Prozner delves into the world of reality TV and gives insight into producer manipulation.

A former Bachelor producer on the condition of anonymity told Prozner:

In the private one-on-one interviews with a producer (like me) it is the producer’s job to get the sh*t talking started, like “tell me honestly what you think of Sally” – if the interviewee does not respond in a catty way then the producer will usually go to the next level, like “well I personally think she is a self absorbed, attention starved skank,” and then see if the person will take the bait… it is easy to start seeding conversations and gossip. Also, if the conversations linger too long on favorite movies and stuff, the producers will step in and say, “ok, we all know we signed up for a TV show – so if you don’t start talking about something more topical, then you can’t have the sushi you requested tonight.” The smart cast members start to realize that you can be bartered. Like, “I will give you a good one-on-one interview about Sally, IF you let me listen to my iPod for the rest of the day.”

Prozner says that Bravo’s The Real Housewives series teaches us that women are catty, bitchy, manipulative, and not to be trusted, especially by other women.

The cast are frenemies: enemies vying for the same prize. Producers get cast members to turn on each other based on off-camera misinformation, manipulation, and a false economy where trash talk is a participant’s only way… children are selectively edited to appear bratty with their parents and catty with competitors.

Producers ensure that women dutifully perform their bitch-tastic roles by egging them on with techniques that would make psyops intelligence officers proud. They conspire together like high school Mean Girls. They mouth off in hateful, bleep-filled ‘confessionals’. Lifestyle series (like The Real Housewives) manipulate us in the opposite direction.

Some of Prozner’s best points about reality TV and Bravo’s The Real Housewives series, in particular, include the following:

1. Catfights are among the main viewership draws and the primary promotional tactic of The Real Housewives series

Thrown together as cameras trail their semi-scripted – yet supposedly authentic – lives, they are rude and unkind. They betray their so-called friends’ trust… The Housewives make fun of one another (Orange County), flirt with each other’s men (Atlanta), and reveal embarrassing scandalous secrets about members of their social circle (New Jersey).

According to Tamra Barney in one her Bravo blogs:

“Anytime you put a bunch of ladies together who are not necessarily friends, there is going to be some drama.”

In Atlanta, one cast mate (DeShawn Snow) who wouldn’t perform diva antics on cue was canned … she was the only original cast member not asked to return to Atlanta’s second season because Bravo considered her too dignified. A producer “said I was ‘too human for a circus show’ and that because the show did so well, they are about to pump up the drama and they didn’t think that I would fit in.” During RHOA’s entire first season, viewers never learned about original cast member DeShawn Snow’s postgraduate divinity studies. Why? Because filming a competent, intelligent African America woman pursuing a master’s degree would have broken producers’ preferred narrative: that Black women (and their wealthy white lady friends) are gossipy idiots.

NeNe Leakes told Jet magazine:

“None of us are friends. Friends don’t do what we have done to each other on the show. You have not seen one of us get the other one’s back. If you did see somebody get somebody’s back, the next week they were talking about them… We are all clearly associates.”

2. Women who truly dislike one another are portrayed as ‘real life’ friends [except in the case of RHONJ, who are real family and were real friends]

In NJ [where we have real friends and family pitted against each other by Bravo], we get “low-class” tantrums, in which Italian American women accuse each other of prostitution, kidnapping and drug dealing while flipping over banquet tables.

[The trips that the cast mates take together on RHs are designed to] isolate them and encourage alcohol consumption and wild behavior; and angry outbursts are stoked and edited.

3. Reality TV producers are puppeteers

Producers craft dialogue they can feed to cast in a pinch or pop into scenes after the series has stopped filming. They coach cast to deliver monologues on specific topics… And if there aren’t enough sparks, editors “take something black and make it white,” as reality editor Jeff Bartsch told Time. Bait-and-switch is par for the course. “Footage has to be manipulated cleverly and often, so it’s really in my job description to know where all the bodies are buried,” a Top Model producer says. “If the show is done well, you wouldn’t even know my job exists because it would just feel like watching people do stuff.”

What reality fan doesn’t assume that the Real Housewives show up where and when producers instruct? When eight women in bikinis in an Australian hot spring simultaneously shave their legs with Skintimate Gel on Outback Jac, we realize that’s staged. Yet most of us remain unaware of practices like Frankenbiting. Even fewer understand that pretty much every part of a reality show is manipulated to support producers’ chosen narrative.

4. Quotes are manufactured, crushes and feuds constructed out of whole cloth, episodes planned in multi-act storyboards before taping, scenes stitched together from footage shot days [or months] apart

“We shoot 100% of the time and air 1% of what we shot,” then edit “the really good stuff” to suit their purposes, an anonymous Bachelor producer told NPR. “We have even gone as far as to ‘frankenbite,’ where you take somebody saying, ‘of course I’d like to say that I love him’ and cutting the bite together to say ‘of course I love him’… [It’s] misleading to the viewer and unfair to the cast member, but they sign up for this.” [Time]

5. Cast members are molded into predetermined stock characters such as the weeper, the bitch, etc.

Casting is the single most important ingredient in the success of any reality show – truth is, producers seek out people they believe will behave in hypersensitive, bizarre or stereotypical ways (those proven to verbal outbursts, physical aggression or addiction are desired). People who are overly emotional and mentally unstable offer more potential for conflict.

tre 956

6. Standards for reality casting are very low

Standards for entry into reality casts are so low because background checks aren’t intended to ensure contestants’ safety. Instead, they’re conducted primarily to absolve producers and networks of legal liability. In fact, casting directors often seek out participants who are prone to violence—including alcoholics, drug addicts and emotionally unstable people—the better to ensure fights, tears, and that oh-so-important ‘drama’. One anonymous producer admitted as much to Entertainment Weekly:

“The fact is, those shows work only because of the irresponsible casting. If you force people to cast upstanding citizens without criminal records, you’re not going to get the same show.”

In the world of reality TV, women are not concerned with politics, law, athletics, activism or even careers in general (unless their competing for the supermodel/starlet/rock star jobs that populate 10-year-old’s daydreams). Instead, reality TV producers have collaborated to paint America women as romantically desperate, matrimonially obsessed, and hyper-traditionalist in their views about the proper role of wives and mothers, husbands and fathers.

7. Violence is used as promotional devices and as a ploy for ratings

When acts of physical abuse make it to the screen, they’re not treated as seriously inappropriate—they’re simply a promotional device. Reality shows trivialize abuse of women as a ploy for ratings… as a cheap ploy to induce those all-important tears they promise to deliver each episode.

8. Companies hawk products through embedded advertising and product shilling

The primary purpose of contemporary television is not to entertain, engage or inform us. Today, the driving factor for all corporate media production is to turn tidy profits for the tiny handful of mega-merged corporations that own the vast majority of media outlets and control the bulk of what we are given to watch, see and hear on TV and radio, in movies, video games, and more. The suits in charge of deciding what shows, songs, films and news programs we get to choose from care only about their companies’ bottom lines—and see their media products as virtually indistinguishable from sneakers, Snuggies, or any other doodad to be bought or sold.

In this climate, what viewers want will always take a back seat to what multinationals such as the Big Six media owners (Disney, News Corp., Time Warner, General Electric, Viacom, and CBS) can convince us to watch. TV shows live or die in today’s media market based not on pure-and-simple ratings, but on demographics (which viewers are watching, in relation to age, race, gender and income bracket, not just how many overall) and broader economic factors, including the cost to produce a program versus the amount of profit it generates.

The key to media profits is advertising, a $200 billion annual industry. In the last decade, TV companies’ ad revenue has come not only from traditional commercials between, but increasingly from product placements within, the content of our favorite shows. Embedded sponsorship has been a particular windfall for cable, which operates under a subscription model and is, therefore, seen as an ‘ad-free’ medium.

Media scholars Robert W. McChesney and John Bellamy Foster have noted that by 2003, 80 percent of U.S. ad spending was funneled through the eight largest advertising corporations, giving companies the ability to name their tune with corporate media firms more than willing to play ball. For example, during a series of top-level meetings held in 2000 by USA Network, major advertisers were invited to “tell the network what type of programming content they wanted.”

Reality TV’s racial typecasting, infantilizing fairytales, and hyperconsumerism—indeed, all the issues explored in Reality Bites Back—are a testament to what happens when advertisers expand the stories they tell from static print ads and thirty-second commercial breaks to feature-length programming. Using real people as their props, marketers have worked with producers to cultivate entire faux worlds based on sexist, racist ideologies. Worse, they have pretended the results are just reflecting—rather than attempting to shape—American life.

9. It’s not just advertisers who influence unscripted programming

In today’s multimerged media environment, TV networks, film studios, newspapers and magazines are just a small sample of parent companies’ cross-holdings. Big Media corporations are also invested in industries such as travel and theme parks, insurance and financial services, sports teams and stadiums, medical technology, and aircraft, weapons, and nuclear manufacturing, to name just a few. In practical terms, this means that some reality TV content is crafted to serve the financial and ideological agendas of the owners of the networks airing the shows.

10. Marketing plays a mammoth role in generating the illusion of populist demand, an illusion of popularity bestowed upon them by corporate synergy

  • TV/radio/billboard conglomerate—PR blitzkrieg
  • Multiplatform media attention, public relations, and product integration
  • The truth is, unscripted programming carries so little financial risk that networks now often prefer likely ratings flops over nurturing more-expensive scripted fare, regardless of viewers’ inclinations
  • Embedded marketers prefer unscripted programming because its practices are allowed by networks to bypass FCC regulations for advertising

The truth is, reality TV music and modeling franchises function much like the sex industry. Like most sex workers, they get a tiny fraction of the cash their bodies generate, while their pimps—the media conglomerates and embedded sponsors—control the profits generated by their hydrations. The workers are undervalued and treated as interchangeable.

Few other issues pose as serious a threat to our notion of entertainment—and to our understanding of ourselves and of our society—as the increased commercialization of contemporary corporate media. Why should we care about product-hawking, stereotype-heavy reality TV, we wonder, when television in general has become so risk-free and hackneyed… network TV content has degenerated as quality has increasingly taken a back seat to media companies’ and sponsors’ quest for astronomical profits. Advertisers have already too much control over what we watch, hear and read. We should identify brand integration—and the reality genre that brought it back to TV—as a threatening progression of that structural problem… Through sheer repetition, reality shows are training us to shrug all this off as inevitable. Advertisers are banking on our apathy… Even writers of successful, widely-respected series have been ordered to change story arcs to accommodate integrated sponsors, as NBC forced The Office to do for Staples, Sandals Resorts, HP, Apple, Cisco Systems, Gateway and Hooters, among others. This is a major thorn in the side of the Writers Guild of America, which has filed comments with the FCC protesting the impediment product placement imposes on their jobs.

If such trends continue unabated, entertainment crafted around commercial messages could largely replace traditional narrative.

Media insiders say the future of scripted television is an immediate, interactive model in which viewers will be able to instantly purchase products they see on their favorite shows… a scrolling ticker a the bottom of every show.

One-look-fits all casting will worsen, as will the homogeneity and vapidity of storylines… Advertisers are seeking more direct control over media content than they had even in 1930s radio and 1950s TV… Advertiser-controlled content is more threatening today than at any prior point because of the sheer breadth and inescapable power of modern mediated landscape… Today it’s nearly impossible to tune out the commercials woven into not just reality TV shows, but also blockbuster films, music and talk-radio programs, magazine and newspaper ‘advertorials’.

The Un-reality of Reality Shows

By Lisa Bloom
May 26, 2012

Having represented a number of celebrities in reality shows publicly and privately, I am here to tell you the shocking truth: there is nothing reality-based about this genre.

Let’s start with the shows themselves, much more “show” than reality. As with sitcoms or dramas, there are takes, re-takes, re-re-takes, and so on. Eight hours to tape a half hour scene is not uncommon. Hair and makeup artists lurk in the background; producers “suggest” lines to the participants, telling them to be angrier, more excited, have bigger energy. “Talent” – as on air types are known in all television – are given plot lines to work through: catty, petty female spats, lies told to some but not other members of the cast to create dramatic tension, props placed strategically to provoke emotions or arguments.

If you must watch these shows, at least, please, enjoy them as fictional as Days of Our Lives or Desperate Housewives. Don’t believe cameras are just “catching” real people living their lives. Nothing could be further from the truth. Cameras and klieg lights and hair and makeup and producers and directors do not make for reality. If they were all in your living room, how authentic would you be?

If a reality star complains about any of this, they are referred to the lengthy (often 30, 50 or even 100 pages) contract, which binds them so thoroughly they can hardly sneeze without the express written permission of the network. For example, as an attorney I was shocked to see my clients had signed contracts barring them from ever suing for defamation, no matter how egregiously the show had manufactured a plot line making them look like liars, cheaters, even criminals. The shows get it both ways: they call the show “reality” to hook in viewers, yet absolve themselves of all legal liability even when they falsely destroy someone’s character.

And at least according to the contract, they can’t be sued for it.

(I told one network I couldn’t believe that would be enforceable. Could the show falsely come up with a story line that my client was a child molester, and there would be nothing she could do in response? I didn’t believe any court would stand for that.)

Nor can they even complain. Ironclad confidentiality provisions prevent the talent from talking to anyone about what goes on in the show. From the pages of legalese on this point, one would think reality stars are being given the codes for Fort Knox.

Hey, at least they’re making the big bucks, you say. So isn’t it worth it?

No. Other than the rare breakout star, reality “talent” make so little they all need second jobs. Ten or twenty thousand dollars a season – for, say, six months’ work – is typical. And the thing is, they’re all so replaceable. How many people can play themselves? Just about everyone. How many people can be drunk/obnoxious/loud? Hundreds of millions. So these types of reality stars are replaceable. Here today, gone tomorrow.

The production companies and networks profit, the “talent” often walk away disappointed, and we all get dumbed down from watching these shows.

Bryan, please make your twitter private and stay away from Bravo, the devil’s playground.

“There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men: A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.” – Ecclesiastes 6:1-2

My prayer for Bryan is Psalm 91 (bear with me, it is long,..but it does fit!)
Psalm 91:1-16~”He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
      10 No evil shall befall you,Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;I will be with him in trouble;I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,And show him My salvation.”

BRYAN, BUDDY, YOU ARE IN MY PRAYERS! My 16 yr old daughter has a Traumatic Brain Injury and what that Queens or whatever they go by…..it has really offended me. My baby has had to deal with a drop from an IQ of 110 to a 61. That is in the mildly intellectually disabled range. HOW DARE THEY SAY ANYONE IS “retarded”…AND HOW DARE THE MARCO’S AND BY RELATION, BRAVO AND ANDY. I wish someone would call them out…..that stuff is showing how ,low BrAvO IS!

Oh Lord forbid anyone say something that can be constuedin the tiniest amount as homophobic….except Joe Gorga, or Richard Wakilie. Joe called his sister and Kim D. “butt-buddies” and NOTHING was said. Teresa has been crucified for an off-the-cuff remark for 4 seasons. It’s all a big science experiment. Similar to what we study with rats and other animals over the years. So far the short term affects of these reality show lab rats has proven to be horrible with their “real” lives and relationships. I am wondering the long term affects in years to come and with their children. I am almost to the point that I am concerned that the viewers are also becoming lab rats with the violence that is our normal standard television these days. It is no wonder we have all the violence in our country. We don’t have a problem with guns per se…..we have a problem with our brains becoming programmed away from Beaver Cleaver thoughts and over all manors and good behavior.

        February 5, 2013 at 3:20 AM

This was a topic of conversation yesterday watching the superbowl commercials. We watched a commercial that started out in a library and everyone was whispering and then something sparked some violence but they were whispering. Then a series of bookshelves fall like dominoes. That action sparks another act of fighting and two people falling over a railing and finally a police car plowing thru the brick wall of the library while the officer jumps out aiming his gun……it was an Oreo cookie commercial…….What? Now we sell cookies (to their target market) that looks like a violent video game. Why can’t a cookie just be fun. Why can’t TV be about gettin along? I liked watching Bravo in the beginning and liked watching the first season of Orange County but, I am afraid from my name on this blog…..I need to find a new hobby.

When I saw the one with the grandpa and the little boy sharing cookies it made me smile ,I went and bought some to share with my grandson ! Now I’ll have to make my own cookies ,cuz they washed that great moment away with sour milk!

Reality Tea published an article yesterday covering much of what was posted here at FW. It’s a a good read because it summarizes what I’ve been blogging about for the past few weeks. I like the way Mary writes, but I would have appreciated a credit and link back to FW. She credits an anonymous ‘source’ instead. Most obvious is the ‘Bulldog Fitness’ reference, which I published at 12:15 AM, February 4 — it is a story from a year ago, an obscure article from January 2012, that I just happened to pick up on yet waited to publish after noticing it was her ex boyfriend’s nickname. I’m a hobby blogger and have never made money, nor have I tried to make money, blogging about the Real Housewives, so I don’t understand why RT would take my stories and not at least link to me in some way… it’s just sad.

I think it is time for me to stop blogging. I don’t want Bryan to be dragged through the mud, and that is what is happening and it disgusts me, and I want no part of it, so I just removed my blogs about him.

Update 2/5/2013: Since Bryan seems to be OK with the exposure (he just did an interview), I re-posted my articles about him at 9:50 PM EST.

Fame, I need your site I am an avid reader of Fame and you are true and kind. I don’t want you to stop. I know it is emotional. If I am not blogging on here night after night. How many others are doing the same. I read everything. I am not a troll as some say. I have brain damage and my thought processing does not work properly. I am boycotting RHNJ but need you here. Bryan got hit again yesterday. He said something about pictures. Twitter is an evil place I was off for a few months. But had to find out about Bryan.

Please try to think of the positive. You are getting the truth out there. It sounds like people are starting to realize that smell in the room is not pleasant… as Milana said “Melissa stinks”. She is uncultured swine.
Thank you for sticking to the truth and for all that you do 🙂 I think you are doing a wondeful job in vindicating Teresa and exposing Melissa’s true intentions.

Reality Tea are the biggest famewhore shit bags in the game. One of the few housewives blogs where the authors post photos of themselves. Those wonder bread basic bitches will have theirs eventually. We could all just do ourselves a favor and never look at their website, regardless of what they post. Sucking their page views away will certainly remedy their ego trip. I have not visited that site once since they blocked me from commenting for defending myself against a bevy of triple chinned disability moms, which makes up the majority of their regular commenters. These people call Teresa and her children monkeys, but call them negligent mothers for caring more about a reality tv show than their own lives, and they can’t deal with it. That website has never broken a story, never done a meaningful exclusive & has no sources now that MeHo hates them. They will fall off the radar soon. Their ripping off this site is just grasping at straws.

Fame: as you know, I’m well aware of your credibility and created by own “humor” site which in large oart was inspired by your invaluable information. It’s a shame that other bloggers don’t credit properly. But I would ask for you to stay with it and continue blogging in spite of situations like this.

I’m also glad you read Jennifer Pozners book – I thought was an interesting read and liked the way it educated the reader on all the “unreality” without being nasty. I’m also glad you blogged on it Becase much of what she speaks about in the book is the reason people gravitated to this site, WE COULDNT PROCESS THE TV SHOW WITH “REALITY” AND CAME LOOKING HERE FOR SOME TRUTH. And here we found it. Sometimes witty, sometimes sardonic, we read blog after blog of background information.

Against this backdrop, other bloggers have changed their view to some extent. Well, there’s only one place they ca go for that information, I hope you can find a solution to attribution on the web. It’s a problem for the entire online media business. But until then, stand as a beacon of truth. I know from our emails that this is a hobby blog (as is mine). So I respect whatever decision you felt you had to make. But please reach out before making any decisions,

You’re a great blogger and you’ve created a wonderful and warm group of commenters.

Miss you Jeannie. Hope all is going well. To the rest, I’ll be back commenting regularly,, andi miss you all.

      • February 11, 2013 at 2:24 AM

Just for clarity: other bloggers can find a lot more info about the lesser cast members here. So, as their blogs become less biased there’s only one site that’s been consistent throughout

Hope that makes my point clearer.

    Hi Fame,

Please take some time to consider this decision. We all understand, or at least we try to understand how much work this blog must take! Tons of your time and thoughtfulness and WORK!!

You have created a hobby blog, as you call it, into from what I can see is now perhaps becoming a nationally read information stop for so many people! And it couldn’t happen to a nicer or more deserving blogger! :)))

We come here to get THE TRUTH. And Your insight. And Your angle on events that most of us would not have known even happened without this wonderful place to come to. And FW is just that: a place I come to at the end of my crazy day to relax and read the next entry you have courteously posted yet again. The feel of this blog thay you created is the most welcoming and for lack of a better word, safe to hang out at blog on the net for me. I have NEVER, not once, felt even slightly nervous that something I posted that may not be 100% on topic, or just me being lame, would end with me getting flamed into next week. You have created a space on the Internet where good people can become friends whereas they probably never would have even met without FW.

I am sorry shite like this happens to good people, but the net is full of buffoons, creeps, nut jobs and losers, so when something good comes along, something of substance, such as Fw, some of these types will try to make themselves look smarter or hipper or whatever it is they are lacking, in the hope they will get more action on their blog. One good thing is the information is getting out there, from this site, more and more lately. That’s a Good Thing in my book! Who knows? Perhaps this hobby blog will end up making you lots of moolah soon! I know that wasn’t your intent! But you do your “Hobby Job” so well! Others sitting up and taking notice! If anyone deserves it, you fit the bill to a T. And I’m sure you know, there are lots and lots of lurkers here who are either too shy to say hiya, or for what ever reason, they are Read Only discs. 😉 I was that way for months, and even now I barely chat much, but please understand how much I love this blog!

I would really miss this place if it suddenly disappeared! Since I stopped watching Bravo midway through the third episode of last season (out of disgust), this is where I come to read the REAL skinny on what – or who! – went down on the show. That’s fantastic in itself. But the best part was finding all the comments from a smashing group of witty people. It was a great feeling to see many others felt like I do. I felt ridiculously happy! It gets lonely reading nothing but jabs or worse about someone or thing I happened to like! With no back up, you just don’t want to post or keep posting when it always ends in juvenile bully types screeching at you!

The first time I found this site I swear, it was like this for me: “Oh At Last!! I’ve found a person who shares my beliefs re RHNJ! Wheeeee! At last!”

But then I saw the comments section. There WERE more of us out there!! Many more! More who could hold a conversation, who make me LOL & LMAO so many times! I had gotten so tired of being beeatch slapped for mentioning I thought Teresa was funny, or astute beneath that vacuous stare she gets now and then.

Sleep on it a few nights. As a writer myself, when someone cribs your work, IMHO, it is a marker or badge I wear proudly. IMO it just means I’m growing! There will probably be more events like this that could make you crazy LOL, but I just know this hurdle will fall over, as you sail right over it and continue on your way, garnering more and more readers and FameFans as you go!

It’s late here now and my sleeping pill just kicked in, so I am off to sweet sleep. But will be back tomorrow evening to add more to my tribute here to you and your more famous every day blog!

    Hang in there, Fame!

      Very well stated Kali.

Fame (don’t go) – do not let Bravo win – we’ve just begun to fight back – your voice IS needed.

      • February 5, 2013 at 10:45 PM

You are the voice of reason, don’t go!!!!!!!! This site really is educational. I know first hand how epic productions operates, everything you just blogged validates what I know to be true. One other thing you may not know is that they bully straight men, and employees who think they are being unfair with their edited together storylines which amount to slander, but the contracts are so ironclad that you can’t protest. The only one thus far, or I should say, the only two to actually rebel are Dina and Adrienne. Dina by not quitting, but letting them film her ironing and dusting for four hundred hours until they gave up. And Adrienne by being able to afford million dollar lawyers who can find loopholes that can tie them up in court and outlast their money which is how she managed to intimidate them into not airing the footage of Brandi when she said that her kids were born by surrogacy (true) not her eggs , so she isn’t the biological mother ( who knows?) and that Adrienne doesn’t give a shit about her kids. ( false) Brandi said some real shitty things which is why Adrienne was so upset, and Paul was so angry. She ( Adrienne) is not the crazy villain that Bravo would like you to believe, that portrayal is their attempt at revenge for unleashing her team of lawyers on them. She will find a way to invalidate the non-disclosure elements of her contract, or just take the financial hit from the sure to be lawsuit which is pennies to her, (don’t believe for a second that she is not as rich as she claims ) She has money to burn. I’ll bet Adrienne busts this wide open by writing a tell- all book on how Bravo and it’s production company operates. They will fight her tooth and nail but she is really pissed and hurt. She is taking the boatload of abuse now to strengthen her case. She is not defeated yet.

        • February 5, 2013 at 11:54 PM

Sorry gessiewtf, but you are soooo off in left field with the Adrienne Maloof example its not funny. I would have given you back up until I read your comment thoroughly, but with all due respect i would suggest you do a bit more research on Adrienne Maloof and her family before you start marching for her. I’m am def. sure you will be singing a different tune about Adrienne Maloof.
As far as your comment about Fame, I agree I would hate to see this blog go. Please fame, I’m sure it does get frustrating, but look how many you have touched and how many want you to stay. Believe me those who stole your stuff or did you wrong will def. get theirs in the long run, so please calm down and reconsider!

          • February 7, 2013 at 10:32 AM

I don’t need to do research.

This post is why your blog has risen to the top of my list. You have integrity.

I’ve already made the decision not to watch RHONJ next season (NJ is the only one I’ve ever watched). I have become interested in what happens to this family, so I will continue to follow them via the blogs.

I’ve always referred to RHONJ as my “guilty pleasure.” But since the introduction of Mel and Kathy, I’ve found that I get zero enjoyment out of watching. In fact, I now find it distinctly unpleasant. I know first hand what a MeGo can do to a family, it happened to a lesser degree in my own family. I know that it is highly unlikely that she will ever change. She will only change her tactics. MeGo is a deeply broken person – a narcissist woman who has found an inexhaustable source of energy to feed her ego – TV fame. Nothing else matters to these people.

I do enjoy following Teresa’s family. For this reason, I’ll keep tabs on the blogs. I do hope you continue to blog, but if you don’t, I understand completely and wish you well.

    To Fame –

It is understandable why you feel the need to step away – this has become dark and nasty and I respect your decision. It is yours – and only yours – to make. But from your efforts, I believe the Famewhorgas will go down in flames.

I have said many, many times on this site over the few months I have been here how I feel about you and the rest of the readers here. I am not going to go over it again but I will say this.

I am thankful to you for providing the community you have here – a safe haven where one can talk just about anything, feel relevant, and not get attacked. There is so much compassion here amongst your readers for each other – it does not exist with any other blog out there. I appreciate you so much and wish you all the very best in whatever life brings you. I have the highest respect for you. A very simple thank you doesn’t seem to be enough. I could go on and on but you already know how I feel.

To my fellow readers and commenters –

As someone upthread said, this blog has been very therapeutic. For me that is so true. As most of you know, I am going through an extremely tough time in my life right now. So many of you have reached out to me and I will be forever grateful to you. All of you have shared a part of yourselves, as I have, and it has been so enjoyable “getting to know” you. As Sackem said, I consider you all “friends”.

But that is not the only reason. It has been stimulating to “talk” with so many others who came here with the same purpose that I had – to find the truth. And I stayed. Because of Fame and what she was providing and because of all of you. I have respect for you as well and I will greatly miss all of you – plain and simple.

I send my best wishes, love, and a hug and kiss to each and every single one of you.

Fame, darling. Please do NOT stop blogging. Obviously, you have a strong, loyal and loving fan base — you created this all by yourself and you have every right to be proud of your creation; it is a living thing. Unlike some other blogs, this one is full of warm, gracious and equally positive posters. It’s a community that supports one another: again, YOU created this. Please reconsider.

Now, back to this outstanding analysis. I totally agree. One line sticks out: “they signed up for it.” I remember a taping at a nearby boutique hotel for “Jersey Couture,” where after a certain time, you had to either sign a three-page, tiny print disclaimer to POTENTIALLY be in the background — or leave. I was there earlier and the crew was setting up most of the afternoon (it was for a Sweet 16). I cadged a disclaimer, took it home and read it. It was horrifying because if you signed it, and you were in the background doing something, let’s say, picking a wedgie and you thought nobody was looking, they could have caught it on tape and totally exploited it and you could not do anything about it. Imagine then, what the featured characters must sign? (shudder!).

I like to watch the HW shows for a different reason. I really enjoy gawking at the homes (outsides and interiors), and I love the glam factor. The clothes, accessories, hair and makeup. I am smack in the middle of the demographic, and there are truly so many looks I love.

    Fame –

One more thing – this particular article should NOT be removed from your blog. It is a scathing and accurate view of what is going on with television and in society today. Mainstream audiences are becoming immune and insensitive to the real reality of life. It is brilliant – if you indeed decide you are done with blogging LET THIS ARTICLE STAND. It needs to remain as a final dissertation of what is going completely wrong with society today. Maybe, just maybe someone who comes across it will have an epiphany – and for every one that happens to, the better off society will become. Sounds perhaps a bit naive but I believe one person can make a difference in change. After all, look what you and your influence has done. You did that and no one can take that away from you.

However, I will rest knowing there is a special place in hell for reality TV producers. Who intentionally destroys familes, relationships all for MONEY? Evil, vile, despicable human beings. Whatever your new endeavors are, they will only be successful.

    February 5, 2013 at 10:14 AM

I didn’t watch RHONJ until season 3. I got the general jist of what was going on, but didn’t know enough to form my own opinions. Being in Australia the show was the only exposure I had to these people (with no media talking about them or magazines publishing stories about them etc.)

Then, knowing nothing except for what I had watched in S3 I went into viewing S4 pretty much aligned with all the tripe being spewed from Melissa’s and the other HW’s mouths in relation to Teresa. Throughout the series I began to feel uncomfortable watching the show. Things wouldn’t add up and it was becoming obvious to me that there was an agenda against Teresa. The blow up at the California Trip compounded my thoughts and after the final episode before the reunion I was dismayed by the behaviour of the HW’s toward Teresa re: strippergate.

3 days ago part 1 of the reunion aired here and after that I was compelled to see if there was anyone who was thinking as I was about the show. 14 pages into my google search result famewhorgas.wordpress caught my eye and for the past three days I have read pretty much every story on this blog, lots of the comment threads and had a good look around the other blogs that have been referenced.

Fame, your blog is intelligent and articulate. Not only do you back up everything you say with evidence and examples that can rarely be disputed, you do so with respect and a conscience.

The issue of RHONJ may seem insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but this blog needs to exist, people need to read this.

I know that I am not the only one who after watching S4 will begin to doubt, I’m just an average 22 year old, so if I can see through it, others will too and when they do they need this blog to educate them, not only on Melissa’s true colours but also so they will develop an awareness of the nature of this faux reality and the Bravo network.

    Best wishes.

I tell anyone who watches the show. My Italian inlaws love Melissa and think I’m nuts. They are old school like Tres family and the similarities astound me!!
Please have a break if you need to.. but please keep up the good honest fight and come back to us please.
We need you and the Community which has evolved here.
Much love to Sackem and our little Fame Princess.

Please don’t let RT frustrate you. Obviously the article was here first but I have my doubts about why it was posted over there. As many people have said the pro Melissa tides seemed to be turning at RT except for this article, well I believe the article gave her and her supporters a forum to answer or belittle Brian. A lot of the comments were in a similar vein:
    For example…
this happened 8 years ago, who cares?
He should not attack a mother with three children.
    He is looking for fame.
Eight years ago I made stupid choices that should not reflect upon me now.
    This is Teresa’s revenge etc.

I don’t visit RT enough to know the commenters but many who were posting the above I had not seen a lot. And just to let you know plenty had your back, take a break if you need it. I just feel like they win if you leave.
Just post some kitten pics maybe.
Love your site, would hate to lose it.

  21. February 5, 2013 at 1:13 PM

Fame, as always you did the right thing by taking down the postings about Bryan and I do not think it is because Reality Tea stole your story. I agree with what each and everyone has posted above.

It has been stated by many, we all found this site (many pages down our search), because we knew something was wrong. You gave us the truth, with integrity. Whatever you decide to do with your blog, I will respect your decision. Personally, I want you to keep blogging.

This article validated everything I suspected. The thought of this all being a “big science experiment”, including the audience, did cross my mind. To me Andy appears to have an inflated idea of himself. I have often thought it would be just like him to take virtual, untalented nobodies, craft them into idols, all the while bending our minds to make us believe it is all “real”. Now it is confirmed. Fame, I hope if nothing else, you do not delete this post.

As for the advertisers, I avoid any product that was “advertised” on RHONJ. It is not that hard, for every product advertised, there is one just like it, that is cheaper and just as good. Prepare wholefoods and buy local, my coffee Mello Joy, my cookies from Uncle Tom, you get the idea.

Just to give you an idea of how well advertising works. I came in to work this morning and we were all discussing “the old people” Super Bowl commercial. Not one of us could remember what product was associated with it.

Fame, you have a talent. I know I would be on this site everyday not matter what you blogged about.

On my lunch hour, have to go.

    February 5, 2013 at 1:30 PM

Hi Fame and FW posters! I have been coming to your site for months now although I don’t post very often, simply because so many of you say what I am thinking in ways much better than I could post myself.

Fame, your quest to expose the Gorgas may have started because you despise liars but your incredible research, which is an amazing compilation of facts you so painstakingly package for us all to read, coupled with the respect and integrity that exists among the posters here – for each other, for you and by you, have generated a blog that is truly a force to be reckoned with and a community that is unto itself an anomaly among the blogs out there.

Thank you for all you have done to bring the truth to light. It must be disheartening at this point to see how sick and twisted this fight to preserve Melissa’s fake image has become what with the twitter war being waged on Bryan, and now your hard work being apporpriated without credit by Reality Tea. It is completely understandable that you want to walk away from the toxicity that swirls around the efforts to bring the truth about the Gorgas to light, but I know how much I will miss having a forum where honesty, truth, and respect are the driving forces to express hope for Teresa’s vindication at the Gorga’s expense as each and every one of their lies eventually get exposed. I hope you’ll continue to blog, but the choice is obviously yours to make and whatever you decide, I am glad to have had the opportunity to be a part, although very small, of this community. God Bless.

And on another note, congratulations and every happiness to you, Sackem, on your new little one!!

Fame, everyone has said what I wanted to say. If you stopped blogging, I will miss your amazing writing and awesome research on RHONJ (and this is coming from a graduate student), but sometimes people reach their breaking point and need to focus on something else for awhile. I really do hope you do not stop blogging, but in the event that you do, I certainly hope you return after a much needed “vacation.” Well, at least a vacation from RHONJ blogging. Not only will I miss the articles, but the community on here. I know I only started participating recently, but I love the comradery that you find here vs the dark, scathing comments found elsewhere. With all that said, Fame, I do hope you continue your writing.

            February 5, 2013 at 6:48 PM

It’s not strange holy. I feel the same way. There is something very sinister about that whole mindset – it is frightening to know – to actually know – there are real people out there who do this kind of thing. It is the work of Satan – I truly believe that. I am not a holy roller but I do believe in the power of God. I try to find goodness in everyone and I do pray. But these people, they are godless.

I will continue to believe that good will always conquer evil and that God writes with a crooked pen – sometimes we can’t figure out what is going on but that is where faith comes into play.

I know – and it’s hard to feel bad for them because of the evilness exuding out from behind their computer screens and the fact they take such pleasure out of being so vile to other people. It is hard to see a human side to them – that’s it for me at least. Where is compassion, where is the humanity? Why such delight in causing pain to another? Surely, there must be something underneath all this hatred and putrid spewing? But I can’t see it. And that is why I feel the devil is very much involved here.

As a woman married to a Jew, not everyone believes that Jesus is God. I and my husband do believe in God. Other posters here may not believe in God at all. The Jesus talk does not include all readers. All readers do not believe in Jesus. For some of us, that’s a total turn off.

Very sweet of you, Miss Celie and I know and believe you are fine and a loving spirit too! I did not mean to offend anyone who believes Jesus is the saviour. But there are many who were not taught that and just can’t quite get that, is all. I do sympathise an empathise with many people, and do honestly believe in “love and light”. So therefore I am indeed more spiritual in my nature than I am religious, although hubby is more religious. Again, no offense meant by me.

that’s something i wouldn’t mind talking about, different religions and their views. I’ve always been fascinated by that. Like how do you remember all the Gods in the hindu? Why is the jewish faith hated ? I have so many questions, but it’s hard to talk to anybody about these things. People are so passionate about their believes they never consider so is the other guy. I feel in this forum if we wanted to i could learn so much

          • February 5, 2013 at 7:53 PM

They are all looking for their 15 minutes of fame and perhaps fortune. I named this set up the pyramid of losers a few days ago, when all the nasty tweets to Bryan were being made. Melissa at the top, next Kathie and Rich, next Marco sisters, next level this Queenz thing, next his minons, all trying to grab the coattails of the one above them to get a free ride.

I wish them luck on finding Fame’s Twitter account. As far finding out who is behind this website, good luck with that too. Even if it were as plain as the nose on their faces, it would take an effort. That would mean they would have to stop tweeting (they tweet almost every minute) and actually MAKE this effort.

This thing and it’s henchmen plan “twitter wars” and what to wear to this said war. It does not have a life nor the ambition to go out and make one. He has not done a radio show in over two years, with the exception of one he did with Melissa in September 2012.

To all of my extended family on this blog who tweet, you CAN win a “twitter war” with this animal by not feeding it. As with any animal, if you do not feed it, it will die.

        • Jeannie5233
          February 5, 2013 at 6:35 PM

dookie – QoM has done far worse than this – I, for the life of me, do not understand why he hasn’t been suspended off Twitter. Vile, vulgar, depraved, pornographic, despicable. . . there just aren’t enough adjectives. What is amazing – his followers think he is funny and some of them even add fuel to the fire. Which tells me there are alot of people out there who condon him. Because when he pulls this crap, very rarely do they call him out on it. He is a master manipulator and a bully who knows exactly what buttons to push and gets extreme pleasure out of hurting people.

mzjulesaz – It has been taken too far but that is what happens when an animal gets cornered. There is no question, no matter how much Queenz denies it, that he is part of the Marco/Gorga henchmen and they have been given free range to do whatever they can to protect Melissa.

I’ve asked you before to start thinking of the next thing you will blog about. To me you could blog about anything, i would read it. I love your style and the energy you bring. There seems to be a concentrated effort to shut down and shut up anyone that can bring the TRUTH about Lookers to light. With all the real housewives shows there has never been so many attacks, fights and threats towards bloggers and posters. There seems to be one person at the center of ALL the fights and threats. This person has a long history of bullying fans of Teresa, spreading hate and lies, calling Teresa fans vile names and getting his crew to take blood oaths to attack posters. Yet, I see every day people who say they are Teresa supporters not only follow this person but defend them. This person is very similar to Lookers in that they attack and have others attack for them, then they sit back and claim victim. I just don’t get how this nice intelligent women and men can not see the similiar pattern of this person and Lookers. Just like 90% of the problems on RHONJ started when Lookers came on the show, 90% of the problems involving the supporters of Teresa all involve this one disgusting person.

If anyone wants to block me for my views go right ahead. I said last night that I was through with twitter but if I quit this vile idiot will get what he wants, another Tre supporter silenced. I will not be silenced. I will continue to speak out against Lookers and Fredo but I will not be involved in the fights. I will not block by association unless I feel that I can not trust you.

Fame, please do not give in to this vile person. He wants to shut you down.

    • February 5, 2013 at 5:14 PM

It is truly disgusting. It’s amazing what hiding behind a keyboard and screen can do to people — it seems to empower them (in their mind). They become the judge and jury and attack mercilessly. I feel sorry for them.

    • February 9, 2013 at 4:37 PM

I’m not very active on Twitter but I do have an account. I was following a blogger who I liked & respected (& who was a Teresa fan, she said, anyway). One day I noticed that she’d hooked up with QoM & was having a grand ole time with them. That was it for me. I went to her Twitter page & unfollowed her. I haven’t been back to her blog since then, either. I don’t want any kind of association with this QoM person/people or anyone who has anything to do with them. I have enough drama in my real life, why would I want to add their crap to it? The thing to me is they tweet such vile, disgusting, despicable, off the wall things that it leaves one wondering if they are sane. No thanks. They, nor their buddies are welcome on my TL or in my world.

Dont know why or how but he does. He admitted to having a personal relationship hence why he was attacking Bryan on twitter and now why he is coming after you trying to find our your identity.

He bitched & moaned about having his address etc sprawled over the internet & someone writing to the IRS about him yet he’ll no doubt do the same to Fame or any other anonymous blogger if he gets their information. No morals no scruples no decency.

Basically, he does not reveal anything except he refutes that he has been approached by Bravo to appear as is being reported by the tabloids. He also says he wouldn’t count out not appearing at some point, but on his terms.

He also talks about his brain tumor. It doesn’t sound good. Part of it is growing in an area of the brain where it cannot be removed and it is fast growing. They have to go in to remove whatever they can. It is very disheartening to hear that – the prognosis doesn’t sound good to me.

Hey Celi, I don’t think it was a network based interviewer. From what I read in the about section of the website, CY (Chris Yandek) is an independent journalists that covers everything from entertainment to politics. He seemed like someone that worked hard to establish himself and make a name for himself in the world of news. I copied the link below. You really get a sense of who CY is towards the end of the section, particularly the last two paragraphs. The about section is quite lengthy, so be prepared to read for a bit.

Celi, lovey! Is his a New Jersey accent? 🙂 I have a bit of it too! I drink “cawfee” in the mornings. I used to work in “New Yawk.” I live “heah.” Interesting, that those who do have that harsh rather ungainly and somewhat nasally syllabillic pronunciation have roots in Manhattan! My grandmother who grew up in the Lower East Side, used to have an accent that no longer exists, but was certainly well known in entertainment mid-century. “Toidy toid and toid,” for thirty-third and third. The men who played the Three Stooges and a few other famous Jewish comics had it.

I’m a nerd. I study stuff like that! Wait, I’m not a nerd, my grandmother would call me a “noid!” 🙂

i went to queens of media blog radio site, they have posted that she/he promotes glbt issues. That is ridiculous, if anything they promote the stereo type. Caddy, cruel, self involved materialistic. The lgbt community should come out and take a stand. This persons behavior is evil and putrid. The way she talks to people is disgusting. I’m sick and tired of the gay community standing by and letting anything go, enough is enough. If i said half of what she said i would be sued, I’m sure. I couldn’t care less who you love or who you are (male/female ) but i do care about how you treat people. Take a stand, everyday great strides are made for the betterment of the world, queenz is not part of that. Take a stand.

I just read the above article and all the following posts. First of all, the article is very telling and insightful to the reality tv world. Like a poster stated above, it makes me feel manipulated and rather stupid to get so wrapped up about a show when the reality isn’t very real. On the other hand, Fame has made it real by blogging the inconsistencies and lies and we have been led to the truth about this “reality” show. And I don’t think you can say that a family hasn’t been destroyed and children haven’t been used as pawns and hate hasn’t been spewed. And it is disturbing. Especially the latest development of Bryan being blasted, ridiculed, and called names by very hateful people. I think we all feel this is becoming a little too real and ugly and disturbing. But I also have to remember that Bryan is an adult and despite the hateful exchanges, maybe he is ready to just put the truth out there. Maybe he wants to. I don’t know. But he seems like a good man with a good head on his shoulders and he will have to decide where to go from here. We also have to remember that although we all want Melissa and Joe Gorga exposed for the horrible things they have done to Teresa, that is not what Teresa wants for her brother. It was confusing at first reading Pete Giudice tweets yesterday, but then I realized the Giudice’s are good people and they don’t want Joe Gorga’s past coming out and hurting him and his family. Yes, they signed up for this, but this is exactly what Teresa feared and why she didn’t want Joe and Melissa on the show. She doesn’t want her nephews and nieces hurt, she doesn’t want her own children hurt, she doesn’t want her parents hurt, and hard as it may be for us to understand, she does not want her brother hurt. And Bryan can hurt them all and she knows it. Not that is what he wants to do, because I don’t think it is his intentions. It is just what could happen if he continues to be pushed. But that is what is confusing. Q and M keeps backing Bryan into a corner where he lashes out and reveals more and more dirt. Anyways, maybe it isn’t just Melissa and Joe who wants to shut down Bryan and what he knows.
Fame, I ditto everything said above. You have created a safe haven for those wanting the truth and we have become friends who respect each others opinions and it has been therapeutic for us all. I think maybe this has all become too real and disturbing, watching real people get hurt on twitter. I know it bothers me and I know it bothers Fame.
As far as the other sites stealing Fames work, it is BS and it angers me. But I also know they could never copy what has been done on this site if they tried. The other bloggers write “Dummy downed” short articles just to spark outrage, not the in-depth, intellectual blogs that Fame writes. And the posters, therefore, are also different. They name call and get in fights with other posters and it is just plain old ugly fugly. And this site, well we all know we are respectful, intelligent, warm people LOL Being a little conceited for all of us…but it is true. We care. We care about others. That’s why we are on this site.
Fame, I hope you change your mind, maybe we could just chat about the weather or global warming lol but I do understand and respectively wish you all the best if you do indeed leave us. (Sad face) 😦

Echoing so many of the previous posters comments, love this site 🙂
I looked at twitters page on reporting abuse here.
it states that you have to be in contact with the actual person yourself in order to report.
Or if you feel some one is posting abusive messages there is this page attached to the previous link
Do have a look if you have been a recipient of their abuse.
    Hope this helps.
I think you’ve done an outstanding job Fame. But I saw what you posted on the previous page that this is real and this is ugly, what is happening over on twitter and people are getting really hurt. .
Whatever Fame decides to do, lets keep it positive.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share an e-mail I received a few days ago from a regular reader who didn’t comment often but occasionally contacted me via e-mail. Her e-mail expresses how I feel, and I told her then that I wasn’t sure how much longer I would continue, but when that day came, I would know it. I hate to disappoint you all, because we have a wonderful community here, but I just think things have gotten too ugly for me to follow. I’d blog about random things if I thought people would be interested, but I’m just not sure they would be. So I’m taking a much needed break and in a few days or so I will check the comments and my e-mail to find out what you’re all thinking.

The following is the e-mail I received which matches how I feel about the situation:

Just wanted to say goodbye. I am deleting my twitter and blog subscriptions.

Seeing how nasty the Gorga followers have become to Bulldog, is what I think pushed me over the edge. How far will people go to prove their point? Wish people dead? How someone can tweet that part of his brain was removed during his surgery is an all time low for anyone. Those twitter people are crazy!

Sadly, Bulldog is being sucked in, and I only hope he makes his case, exposes her and her family, and moves on with his life intact. He seems like a nice guy. Her sisters are vile and will not stop until they do serious damage, whether it is the truth or not

It made me realize that I’ve wasted too much time and energy trying to prove how fake the Gorgas are, hoping people would wake up! I didn’t like who I became and I got sucked in to the daily drama and madness!

It all started when she became a new cast member and started singing (ugh). I knew she had an agenda along with her fake “I’m so happy” marriage. The kicker was how she constantly posted digs to her “supposed” family Teresa, yet boasts family is everything, how she volunteered during hurricane Sandy but was herself affected (not really) and they pushed the jersey strong sweatshirts, not to mention her too many “thank you Jesus” statements … All of course with an agenda to later commercialize it to make money!!! She made fun of Teresa’s bankruptcy knowing her own sister did the same thing!? I wanted to bring her DOWN!

Well, who am I? I’m no one… I’m Just a jersey housewife who liked a show and became pissed at someone pretending to be rich for the cameras & thinking she’s a rock star because auto tune is used?

So…..I’ve decided to be content in knowing I know the truth of who she really is, and will leave the bringing her ass down to you and the others professionals.

I plan to go about my life.

All the best to you! You’ve been great!

P.S. I copied my comment upthread from my last article, which is the one I planned to later remove since if included a part about Bryan… I never planned to removed this article. Sorry for causing confusion!

Here is the link to Bryan’s interview:

When you come back we can talk about whatever you want to blog about. I also agree with the whole bring you down thing. Everyday i get on here, and everyday i feel dread. I understand, the reason i come back is for the group of people you have brought together. At this point I hope T will be okay, but i no longer can watch t.v. I promise you that anything you want to blog about will be a good read and keep us all coming back.

    • February 5, 2013 at 9:18 PM

I just knew there was more to your decision to stop blogging than Reality Tea (shame on them, never going to that site again) stealing your work. Take your much needed break. In the mean time, in the event you wish to continue blogging, (which I and many others believe you were made to do) we will be waiting for you. I believe someone mentioned how to grow vegetables?

For me and many others this is not just a blog, but a community. We touch each others lives. I saw Celi’s beautiful angel, Onjo. I wonder how Jeannie is doing with her mother. How are Isolde and IamNobodysHW doing? Love the comments of holy, Ani-Capri, toxicprince, dch60, sars, Anna, RahRah and everyone. We all felt the pain of DD losing her nephew. There is LilyM’s new son and the way her daughter likes helping with the baby. Then there was the Honey Badger mixup and on top of everything else we all have a new baby to raise. After all we have to be there for Sackem, she is raising our honorary Goddaughter.

Fame, try to find a way to make money blogging. Remember, if you enjoy what you do for a living, it is not work. If Perez, who steals his stories can make money doing it, you will be a billionaire.

Take a break and let things settle down. Just wait for the new season to start and if anything annoys you about the show. Blog away. Most importantly don’t let ANYONE force you to stop unveiling the truth. This is exactly what they want, don’t let them win. Look how their winning when it comes to make Teresa out as the bad guy in a show that she pretty much gave high ratings for. If you leave Melissa won. You got to ignore the negativety and continue doing what they do best. I try my best to come on as much as possible and I’m not as close to the commenters on this blog but, your the only person that reveals the truth and have made every Teresa fan happy that there is someone who is publicly calling these disgusting people out. I understand your concerns but, just know if you go away. They have won. It’s a boost on their egos that they do not need. Please reconsider your thoughts about leaving because, you’re the only sane blogger that isn’t posioned by the Gorga’s/Marco’s. You’ve worked so hard on this please don’t let it go to waste. Wishing you and your bloggers the best.

To get some levity going here, check out Kathy Wakile’s TL and the picture attached to this tweet! It is quite funny actually! Joe Gorga on a billboard in NJ doing a really cheesy ad for SizzleTans – A tanning salon chain that Teresa once was the spokeperson for!

Hugs Fame love your blogs. You write fairly and are balanced with your opinions. I have read this blog since April of last year. I don’t post a lot because the other posters cover the material well. I do appreciate all the hard work you put into this blog for no rewards other than allowing us a place to read and vent. It is beyond frightening what lengths people will go to for 15 minutes and tanning bed commercials. I do NOT understand what is wrong with twitter nuts but I guess that is all they have and they want the “celebrity” they get from their little twitter feeds. Sad.

On a happy note Congrats to Sackem and family. No better joy than a new baby.

Speaking of needed prayers… Any word on juicys sentence? ive been where teresa is, and i cannot explain what a nightmare and state of anxiety it is. I understand people think juicy should pay, but when its the person you love and with whom you spend every day, it feels like you are being punished too. The feeling is so terrible that its unreal… even just waiting to find out IF the person is going to prison, which can take more than a year. Not to even mention how the girls will suffer. This is the worst time in their lives to not have their father with them, considering their ages. I dont see how anyone would take on that misery on top of dealing with the drama on the show.

  47. February 5, 2013 at 8:30 PM

I am so sorry this is affecting you to the point of wanting to stop blogging. I would miss you and everyone here if you did, but I would hate to think that the person writing the blog wasn’t enjoying the experience as much as I was, so I would totally understand if you stop.
I am not watching “reality” tv any longer. This article just gives me MORE reasons not to watch and I thank you for it. It used to be a guilty pleasure, but now it’s more like a dirty secret. I love watching Teresa and her family, but I can’t watch Bravo anymore.
I still read the blogs and stay on twitter because I want to be able to remain current and fluent in HW-if only to be able to support the truth when it’s being challenged. Your blog has always been a trusted source for the truth, and I hope all of us have always made you feel that we had your back. Maybe if you take a break, you’ll feel better…
Sackem congrats on the birth of your beautiful daughter!

But, selflessness means that for our beloved “Fame” site owner/nurturer, I do respect his/her feelings and desires. And that, in the end for me, does take precedence.

Will be sorry to see you quit blogging, but geeze, I sure as hell can’t blame you. This has all become so ugly. It’s truly sad…

  51. February 5, 2013 at 9:30 PM

Please bare with me as I’m still on medication so my thoughts maybe a bit jumbled.

I’ve obviously been out of the loop but I will say that it angers me that other sites are negligent in attributing proper credit. Reality Tea has done this before and I’ve happily sent a private email to Mary calling them out on it. I guess integrity and ethics are yet to hit this new style of reportage, or do we simply call it gossiping? I know I wont bother giving them anymore of my traffic.

I probably wont bother giving any other site my traffic either as this site for me was an enjoyable space where I could air my utter shock and dismay at the pathetic show of humanity that is the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The difference between what Fame provides and the rest is honesty, integrity, and heart. This blog has never been opportunistic or for profit, more a narrative of bad behaviour and a record of the lengths people are willing to go to for a shot in the spotlight.

I was spurned into contributing to blogs because of the injustice done to one person by family. If you look at the Bravo shows, they are an interesting glimpse into human nature and it saddens me that this has jumped off our screens and has become a “real life” situation. I’m not interested in seeing my friends, and Fame you have become a dear friend, hunted on the web or twitter because some Jersey Chick can’t handle the heat.

Missy you asked to be on Display – the good the bad and the ugly. And this has become very ugly. I’m not surprised by Fame’s decision, or that of viewers, to walk away – I teeter on the edge myself. As a matter of fact, had it not been for the nature, care and sophistication of those attracted to this site, I would have switched off long ago!

I’ve just got some visitors here so I’ll be back….

    • February 6, 2013 at 12:27 AM

I’m back! Hope this doesn’t get lost in the thread…

I totally respect Fame’s decision to do what’s best for Fame. I think Fame should be proud of the little community gathered here, the tone of writing and content has resulted in a group of people respectful of one another, who can just see bullshit from a mile away. With all your support and generosity, as much as I was appalled by the Marcos/ Gorgas, you all restored a little faith in humanity! You all kept me coming back!

As mentioned below, I’d discuss anything till the cows come home with you guys, obviously it’d be sad to loose this arena, but you just gotta do what you’ve gotta do!

Having said that you can always change your mind!!!

    Hi everyone!
Did you all read Fame’s first paragraph in her above comment? I know I missed it until just now:

    Fame says:
“I hate to disappoint you all, because we have a wonderful community here, but I just think things have gotten too ugly for me to follow. I’d blog about random things if I thought people would be interested, but I’m just not sure they would be. So I’m taking a much needed break and in a few days or so I will check the comments and my e-mail to find out what you’re all thinking.”

I think we are all pretty much in agreement that we need to respect Fame’s decision to no longer blog about the ugliness that is the Gorgas and her needing to step away for a few days or so to think. However, she has given us the opportunity that perhaps she would be willing to continue to blog about other things and she is interested in what we have to say. By reading the comments here, it is very apparent she is well respected and we all care for her. There is a great community here because of her – she has given us the opportunity to feel at home and able to share with others our thoughts and feelings in a very caring and warm environment. There are so many wonderful people here already and I know there are also so many others who read, but don’t comment but I wish they would because they have so much to offer as well!!

Fame may decide to not come back at all and she has certainly every right to make that decision. But in the event that she does decide she wants to continue, I would like to propose something – how about some suggestions as to what we could blog about? Let’s give Fame our suggestions and then let her decide what she is interested in. Honestly, for me, I would participate in a discussion about the weather if it meant keeping this community together and intact.

Does that sound like something anyone of you would be interested in doing? Remember when I asked Sackem about Australia? It was so interesting and people enjoyed learning something about her country. Because we are all are so diverse, come from different walks of life and even different parts of the world, I thought that maybe we could have something like “Topic of the Day/Week”. Any suggestions?

    • February 5, 2013 at 10:30 PM

Count me on board. The topic could be as heavy as, “How Is Your Insurance Company Handling Your Sandy Claims?” to Pie and Popcorn week activities. For me this site exposed the Gorga’s long before Part 2 of the Reunion.

I had never watched The Talk until they were “live” in New Orleans last week. Now I record it, I am hooked. We could be a much larger, “United Nations” (love that statement) version of The Talk.

Okay, I’m reading from the bottom up so I only know what you have quoted Fame commenting on. First and foremost, I agree with you about respecting Fame and her wishes. Obviously I’m behind her no matter what Fame decides to do, however, I absolutely would be interested in blogs about other topics. I know for me, coming here to read up on what Fame has provided us about the Gorgas a/k/a the Whorgas has been great! Knowing that I’m by far not alone in my feelings by all those commenting added much appeal to the site. I really enjoy all of the posters here (some more than other, yes other as I can only think of one) and our camaraderie. I think it would be nice to share comments and opinions with all of you on topics other than Joe and his ho. It would be a refreshing change.

We’re kinda beating a dead horse with the Whorgas anyway. It might be a good thing to change topics and it would also send Melissa, et al a little message about what we think of them… that we don’t give a damn… we don’t want to waste time on them anymore.

I used to frequent another blog and when it got to be too much for the one blogger, she used guest bloggers. Don’t know if that’s something Fame would be interested in, but it’s just something else to think about. I know I’d be happy to blog once in a while. Just a thought anyway. Fame, of course, whatever you decide, I’ll understand and respect.

Gotta go now, will read more comments tomorrow.

Thanks for bringing this up Jeannie.

Fame I LoVe this site but why oh why must religion be quoted. Is this not a blog for escapism into the world of bogus TV. I think you are one hell of a reporter and I have thus far enjoyed all your posts to date.

Religion is a huge part of many peoples life. I’m not offend, my brother is an atheist and i believe in God. We get along great. I respect your right to believe as you choose and i don’t feel it’s an attack on me, i would hope that you know that me believing in God is no attack on you.

ChefEddie – with all due respect to you and I do mean that most sincerely because you were respectful, this is Fame’s blog and if that is what is important to her to write at the time when she is struggling, then that is her right. I hope you understand my point.

  55. February 5, 2013 at 10:15 PM

I haven’t had the time to read through the comments yet but just wanted to say that this really doesn’t surprise me. With the wide usage of DVRs, a large percentage of us are able to fast forward through all of the ads/commercials. I guess they have to figure out a way to compensate for that.

Now my eye just caught something in the comment above the *Leave A Reply” space that has me concerned. I’m afraid what I fear is true. I almost don’t want to look. I don’t know what I’ll do without this place 😦 I’ll reserve further comment until I get a chance to read the comments.

I don’t know when I’ll get back to read the comments so I must ask… have we heard from Sackem yet?

    • February 5, 2013 at 10:41 PM

She was commenting on this thread about an hour or so ago. Left to greet visitors. dch60, take your time, read ALL of the comments. I respect what you think. Let us know.

      • February 7, 2013 at 10:35 PM

Thank you Momajackie. I really appreciate your comment. It’s because of all of you here that I’d hate to see this blog go away completely. I won’t lie and say I won’t miss Fame’s great blogs about the Whorgas, but I respect her decision to remove the toxicity from her life. Anyway, I usually come here every day but haven’t been able to for a while. I’m trying to read the comments a little at a time. Some interesting developments that’s for sure.

Aw, Sackem – a beautiful name!

            From Wikipedia:.

“Ava is also a feminine given name name in Persian, meaning a “pleasant sound”, mostly associated with musical sounds; e.g. “Ava -ye moosighi” meaning “the sound of music.”

So that is where her adorable little squeals come from!! So happy for you! Hope you are doing well yourself! Take it easy – I used to tell you to give yourself a pat on your tummy for me but now could you give that little angel one a gentle one on hers.

I think the above information about Bravo, and the state of ‘women’s reality tv” is brilliant!
I know this next part will not be popular, but here it is: Many of the homosexual men in the industry (world) do not understand women’s relationships, and are in fact, often jealous of the solid, loving, supportive and kind ones. They could never have what we have with our girlfriends, even though some of the boys are my “girlfriends”. They want women to fight, be catty, and insecure. Guess who a lot of those producers are? I really don’t think we need to promote any more gay pride events on Bravo, when Bravo is riding on the backs of the true goddesses–women!! (And no, you can’t borrow my nail polish!)

Further, this whole slanted image of mean girls, feeds the misogynist pigs that are out there, especially in commercials, marketing, and sales of products we don’t need. The unflattering stereotype of bitchy women is promoted! As women, we need to stand up and demand some producers with integrity, or at least ones that understand that viewers want to see how these women live their lives-really. The sometimes ugly, yes. But not forced ugly-and not a man’s view of what women would think is “good reality”.

As far as “Fame” goes, I can see where a break might be a good idea. A lot of this stuff is heavy, and gets too negative for me to read on a regular basis. That said, if you decide to continue: GET A PLAN, arm yourself, (like a killer web/privacy consultant) and don’t let the UPITY QUEENS (jealous, mean, bitchy- and proud of it, because of other necessities they LACK!) stop you!!

    • February 5, 2013 at 11:36 PM

This is a blog topic, homosexual men in the industry do not understand women’s relationships. And I am certain that most of us can relate to this topic.

It’s not just bravo, almost all of the programs stereo type women in a negative light. My daughter wanted this talking Barbie, it said “lets go shopping, i like pizza party’s and my favorite MATH is so hard ” No i did not get her the barbie, but as a culture brains and kindness are not favored over looks and material things. Women are portrayed as dumb, whores or maids to their family. That’s part of the reason i quit t.v. i can do better for myself and my daughter. I’m not a collage graduate, i pray she will be. I have 3 sisters and we support each other. For my part i will encourage my Maddie to go for her dreams, and support the women in her life.

I can’t believe that they have Barbies still saying that after all these years. I remember when I was growing up Barbie was very stereotypical and even when my girls were coming up it was the same thing. I remember Mattel made a big deal when they came out with Astronaut Barbie – how groundbreaking it was! And they are still selling this stuff to little girls?? I would have thought Barbie would have evolved a little more than that by now!! Glad you didn’t get her Barbie but I sure hope she got something she was even happier with!!

By the way, love4fame, I did not go to college either and you are probably smarter than most people with a degree these days. You sound like a great role model for your daughter.

          • February 7, 2013 at 10:55 AM

This is why I started reading your blog. When I read the opening line “This Blog is dedicated to anyone”….. I was sold. You were honest and forth right from the very beginning and have maintained that level of sincerity the entire time.

From the “About ” section of FAMEWHORGAS (front page of the blog.)

“This blog is dedicated to anyone who has ever had someone, whom they trusted, conspire to destroy their well being and livelihood because of greed, envy, pride or revenge, as Joe and Melissa Gorga, Kathy Wakile, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo and Andy Cohen have done to Teresa Giudice and her family.

Our main goal for this blog was to expose Melissa as the liar she is and to provide a source for people to reference when explaining to her defenders what she did that was so wrong (it’s exhausting to have to explain your reasoning over and over again). For the most part, this site is a repository for the truth — we tried to include the best stories and comments from online sources so that the truth wouldn’t get lost in the blogosphere. Others do a great job blogging about the latest happenings, so please check out the sites referenced in our blog (see the Blog Roll). We hope this blog will serve as an archive of Melissa Gorga’s antics as she attempted to become famous at her sister-in-law’s expense.”

You have definitely accomplished a lot of your goals!! However, I bet that you never thought that you would also be responsible for creating this beautiful techno color patch work of commenter’s together! Thank you, thank you, thank you. All of us have woven together an amazing support group, a stage to vent, to laugh to cheer, to cry all while feeling safe to express our disappointment in the Bravo REALITY. Please don’t stop blogging, you have an amazing talent. Maybe just have your soul gone on a cleanse. Write about something else, something that keeps that passion for the truth alive! But please know that we all know that deep down this blog is not done being a “repository for the truth”. (by the way I love that line, I might have to borrow it)

      February 6, 2013 at 4:17 PM

So glad you posted this GracenLove! It’s been awhile since I read it. When I first did, that first sentence pulled me in as well because I do have someone like that in my life. Unfortunately, while that situation for me can never be resolved, at least here (1) I could seek answers to questions I had about what was going on with RHONJ and (2) that while my situation will not change, perhaps I could still have faith that justice can be served on someone who deserves to have it handed to them.

I agree with your statement “this blog is not done being a “repository for the truth”. Yes, the story has taken many twists and turns but I believe that story is not over as Bravo is still filming, Season 5 has yet to air, and the skeletons that fill Melissa’ and Joe’s closets are just barely beginning to come out.

No matter what Fame decides – whether it is to come back and continue to be our leader as we soldier on in lifting the veil of Bravo’s machinations and Melissa’s maliciousness; or to come back and blog about something different; or to just not continue at all – this blog will stand as evidence as to what the Gorgas have been and continue to be capable of doing in order to destroy anyone who is in their way for the quest of fame, celebrity and money. I just hope that the ending will be told on this blog as well.

With that said, whatever Fame decides, for herself and only for herself, I am in her corner and support her – we all do.

This situation reminds me of david and goliath. The bigger they are the harder they fall. Don’t let their size take you away from all of us. I was 40 something 5ft 2in 104lbs and was told I am not big enough to follow my dream. I didn’t listen and went for it. I became a police officer and even made sergeant. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do, that should make you more determined to continue to “do it your way”. Either way I am behind you and will respect your decision. But I will miss you terribly if you go.

I posted my comment about no longer blogging before QoM tweeted about me (or at least I didn’t know about their tweets since I don’t follow them). They’re just trying to make it seem like I quit because of them, but I knew nothing about what they were tweeting until I read e-mails from a few readers around 5 PM EST on 2/5/2013. So please don’t think my decision has anything to do with them. My blog comment on 02/04/2013 at 11:39 PM EST (https://famewhorgas.wordpress.com/2013/02/04/melissa-gorga-tweets-that-she-has-the-most-amazing-husband-in-the-world-melissa-works-out-with-bulldog-fitness/) shows my frustration and why I made the decision to quit blogging — I don’t want Bryan to be dragged through the mud (knowing FW revealed his identity), and that is what is happening and it disgusts me, and I want no part of it, which is why I removed all my articles about him late on 2/4/2013, after I saw the RT article with stuff about Bryan from my blog (without crediting FW). The RT article will bring a lot more negative attention his way, and that disturbs me, and it prompted my decision to quit blogging about the RHs (something I’ve been thinking about doing for months) — and this was well before anyone made me aware of QoM tweets about FW (and probably well before they tweeted about FW).

After listening to Byran’s interview on February 5, 2013:

On February 5, 2013, I restored all the stories about him:

Fame, You and Bryan are amazing humans. You could help him write a beautiful biography , I want to know about his life, struggles, at this point I could care less if he wants to expose Melissa. I a tired of watching scripted housewives, and nelping make Bravo and the Gorga’s richer

Fame, so sad to think you may stop this site . Never posted here before but read everyday, your articles are always intelligent, fair, and logical. Love it that you never let us have to wait to long for your next article ! Your readers comments are the same too, a massive reflection on you. I know I ‘m here, because it is irritating when things just don’t add up, and annoying when things are so obviously set up for Teresa to be the bad guy and Melissa look like the good guy and well I guess I just want to see the fairness of a situation rectified some how,. You are one of the only people that writes on RHONJ and tells it as it is, with facts, questions and answers. Not sure how I ever came across your site, but months ago would google things on RHONJ to check where your site came up as I wanted to see if others could read what I was, and could never find it, now it comes up much more often. While I respect your decision to stop I think you are getting so close to the truth of a lot of things, and your site surely must be getting more viewers, it just seems the wrong time. Please stay one more season with us 🙂

When I first read you were thinking about quitting Re: RT using all your info that you research for all of us to come and get a daily fix, I DON’T understand how this internet stuff works (sorry I want to go back to how we lived in the 70s dislike the 21st century to much hate about) I had never been on RT so popped over AND MY OATH SHE IS A BLOODY COPY CAT. RT has advertising so she must get some sort of payment, then I scouted about and noticed some others did say it was your work they were using, is there any way that your biggest fans here can help you get advertising so you are rewarded for your hard work???????????????????? Just tell me how I can help and I’m on board.

Fame when I saw the interview bulldog done my heart sank for you, as you thought you were protecting him yesterday that is why you took down anything about him and this must have been setup days ago the interview. Maybe we have all been fooled I had a gut feeling last week and was going to say something but thought it was me just being suspicious
Don’t let them push you to give this up as you will have a lot to give in the next month or so GUT FEELING, LETS PROVE THEY ARE ALL FAME WHORGAS, I WAS SURPRISED Q/M WAS TWEETING SHEILA GUIDICE NEW YEAR EVE, maybe nothing in it?????????
Sorry for dribbling Fame and I see this is all over the place, but I am typing and forgetting what I want to say hope you can understand it.

The pain killers are wearing off and I can almost think again -I FEEL LIKE I’VE MISSED SOMETHING HERE. CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME THE CLIFF NOTES? I understand Fame’s position but did something major happen in twitter-ville?

    • February 6, 2013 at 7:23 PM

Ava, what a beautiful name you and her father picked. Expecially enjoy this time, they grow up so, so quickly.

Cliff notes for 2/5/13 (I had to work these last two days)
Twitter world, dark and ugly, this Queenz and minons (the Marco mouth pieces) are just evil, first went after Bryan, looking for Fame and attacked Johnny the Greek.
I am sure Fame feels bad.,
Fame gets and email from a fan, who just can’t take this nasty stuff any longer.
Fame, already thinking about quitting this blog, decides that perhaps this is the time to quit.
      Reality Tea steals Fame’s story.
Fame is now taking a much needed break. She will let us know what she decides.

I hope she continues to blog, regardless of what she blogs about. We are a family and need to stay connected.

I had been searching for truth about Melissa and Joe for several months, before I came across Fame’s site. In this quest, I came upon Melissa’s comments on OCG, the attacks on bloggers and many ugly things they have done. I understand why Fame needs a break from blogging their ugly deeds.

Get your rest when you can and give Ava a kiss from MomaJackie.

I need the Cliff notes too dangit. Long night on the night shift so can’t read all the comments – DID read the article. I think of the whole thing (BRAVO/RH etc) as a new kind of soap opera…I’m not a fan of basically being called a moron for liking these shows – especially since their “ad placement” or their twisted view of how women interact or “scripted”/prompted/producer driven drama does little to sway me, ok? Precisely because I’m NOT a moron, lol. (much) I think RH’s may be jumping the shark, just like regular soap operas did some time back, but let’s not make this any more or any less than it is.

And so it seems Kim Pirrella just can’t help herself. She inserted herself into an exchange between Queenz and Johnny the Greek – he had a very rough day yesterday with QoM taunting him – and then went on to make plans with Queenz for weekend in NYC.

Of course the exchange doesn’t prove her “involvement” with QoM’s assaults. Kim is very comfortable in her skin – could care less if people know of her association with this person and obviously shows support – one of those who condones his behavior. If Kim was such a standup person she would call Queenz out for his nastiness; wouldn’t a good friend try to steer one in the right direction? Unless of course, that friend agrees with what is going on. That fact alone shows just what kind of a person Kim Pirrella is.

Fame, I may be wrong, but I believe you have been feeling terrible about exposing Bryan and then watching everything unfold in twitter land.. Bryan is an adult who has made his own decisions about interacting with Johnny the Greek and Q & M and everyone else. You did not do this. He has let this go where it has gone and I think he is enjoying it or he wouldn’t continue to respond. And I stand by the fact that the Teresa camp does not want him talking either, because he can really hurt Joe and the children. I mean if he comes out and says Melissa cheated on Joe after they were married, who benefits? NO ONE! And I didn’t like him saying that stuff about Joe in college. Sorry, but I am not liking the revenge like I thought I would. Even though Joe and Melissa sicken me, I do not want to see their marriage destroyed and their children hurt. This show and everything about it makes me sick right now. Can’t we just talk about Duck Dynasty? lol

      Absolutely right. I

said there were comments from the Source on Roxy’s site a year ago, naming Byan, anyone could have googled and do a little research, and connected the dots.

Byan is an incredible human being. I just want him to block the trolls, call them out laugh them off. People who mean or hate tweet, do not have fufilling lives.

I also want to say I read Faux’s latest blog about twitter and Reality Stars. Not being on twitter lets me see things objectively, Faux’s comments were spot on.

I am starting to think we are all being controlled by Bravo. The evil network.

Not really, I have always said that Bryan is good person. I just reread what I wrote and didn’t like the part where I said he is enjoying this since I know he didn’t ask for this and I know he can’t enjoy Q & M and his minions attacking him. I still don’t believe anything good can come out of all of this. I don’t want revenge on MeHo and JoBlow where it ultimately hurts their children, Joe and Teresa’s parents, and Teresa herself. But it is what it is and we have no control over what happens. I also do not think Bryan wanted all of this to come out, but he is being pushed and I can’t blame him for just wanting the truth to be known.

Meri – you have a good heart in not wanting their children to get hurt. The sad thing is though isn’t that the parents’ job – to protect, nurture, and provide a solid role model – one with morals, character and values? These children are being hurt by the very people who they look up to and learn from. What are Joe and Melissa teaching them? And sadly, their own parents are the ones who have failed them. They are the innocent victims in all this. Joe and Melissa should have put their children first before deciding to sign up for this, knowing that their past could catch up with them. I am sure that is why Teresa didn’t want them on the show now. It is very sad but Melissa and Joe Gorga have nobody but themselves to blame for letting their children down – nobody, not even Teresa.

Thanks for blogging. I don’t know if I have ever posted a comment on your site, but your site is the most detailed and I appreciated it! As for the Gorgas, Manzos, Lauritas, etc. — this is what they signed up for. They think the producers will always be on their side and that was the producers plan all along. Think about how many years of gossip and lies they now have on film. There will be a smack down of the Gorgas, etc. It is only then they will realize how low and nasty they are. They believe they are celebrities! Sold their soul for the $. They believe that the drama isn’t produced. They are the lab rats that got the nasty pill instead of the placebo. Brian is an adult, he can choose to be part of the mess or walk away silently and live a peaceful life.

I am on a twitter break for the next few months. I had too. It was getting nuts and I was getting obsessed. If this show doesn’t clean my house or make me money, why do I tweek about it? ha!

Good luck to you! I hope you keep blogging.

I have posted on this site before, and I know Bryan “bulldog” personally and very well. I can say on his behalf that he is truly grateful for the support he has received from famewhorgas as well as the TRUE fans on the site. I agree that the bulling from QOM and the Marcos is horrible and disgusting. It shows a lot of integrity, compassion, and respect that you are thinking about not blogging anymore because of TRASH. Believe me he really respects you for that. But like I said before I KNOW “bulldog” and he can handle it!!! He has dealt with much tougher obstacles in his life then this. I know for a fact that he does not want you to stop blogging.

Speaks volumes that Meho’s sister has the nerve to publicly support Q & M. And Kathy, whose own daughter had a brain tumor, has also tweeted this entity. Disgusting.

            February 6, 2013 at 10:15 PM

Oh Meri – they are all friends with each other. Kathy’s sweet, innocent “we’re old school” persona was all BS. Her daughter is a survivor of a brain tumor. Bryan may not survive and the fact that she would have anything to do with Queenz after the commments he has made, proves who she is – Kathy is just as vile. Between her insults of fans and viewers on Twitter and Facebook and her disrespectful behavior on the Reunion she has proven who and what she really is and it certainly isn’t “old school”. She can take her cannolis and …..fill in the blank!

Hi Anon! Thank you for posting this and I hope Fame sees it as well as Bryan’s tweet today. We hope she doesn’t stop blogging either as it would be a huge loss in the fight that has been going on for several years now in trying to get the truth out there about individuals who have lied and betrayed family to achieve their ultimate goal – celebrity and fame.

From what we can all tell, Bryan is a strong man of convictions. Regardless of whatever Queenz and his minions and the Marcos/Gorgas throw out there about Bryan’s “past” in an effort to discredit him, Bryan has paid his dues, owns his past, done his best to right his life, and is a role model for anyone who has walked a similar path. I respect him for that. It takes great courage and fortitude. Whatever and however Bryan decides to handle this situation, I think I speak for most of us when I say we have his back. He may decide to tell his story; he may decide not to. That is his right and his perogative. We just hope he does it the right way and surrounds himself with people who have HIS best interests at heart.

As far as the bullying of Queenz – it is pretty much guaranteed he is not done with Bryan and will continue with his onslaught and his attempts to discredit him by publishing personal information and pressing buttons that he knows will trigger Bryan. Queenz can be a formidable opponent if Bryan allows him to get under his skin and he is a master of manipulation. He’s been around awhile and we have seen what he is capable of.

If Bryan doesn’t react, Queenz will have no buttons to press. A bully thrives on confrontation and will needle and goad until there is a reaction and then will attack. But if the bully’s subject does not respond in any way and does not react, the bully then becomes infuriated and will come back even harder. As long as there continues to be no response, the bully will become more and more frustrated, which is the best defense because it disables the bully’s attack. When the bully’s “victim” will not play the “victim”, the “victim” becomes victorious. Bulldog already knows this – he’s a fighter and a MMA. He knows how to size up his opponent. If he does his homework, knows what he is up against, and just how far the arms of these bullies reach, he will beat them at their own game.

    Dear Fame,

Please keep on blogging, take a break if you want until the season starts. I have the upmost respect for you. You keep it clean, I think you are upset by what happened to Bryan on twitter, he is handling it well. We all are, you are my lifeline right now. Twitter can be evil, but I said it before it helped so many during Hurricane Sandy, find supplies, gas, shelter, lost love ones, pets and friends.

The interview he gave was a class act. If he wants to speak of his past he will in his own time.

You have the most amazing fans and commenter’s, they keep it clean, and debate respectfully.

I can def see why blogging about these people would leave one feeling a little… Less than zen. After getting into it, the cast has really invaded my thoughts. Ive even dreamed about them! if anyone is looking for new reads from now on, read an older article! most often, headlines are for one, misleading, and second, way more interesting than the contents of their respective posts, but on this blog its just the opposite- even if the title doesnt grab your attention or sounds like a story you think you know, the entry will be loaded with interesting info. its really a fantastic blog- never a dull moment. These posts could very well be the makings of a very interesting and enlightening book.

Sars , I agree with everything you just said. I was not a Housewives you were until recently after seeing Teresa on Celebrity Apprentice and I was curious about why Trump was so kindly towards her.
I have been reading current and previous articles and very thankful for such thoughtful and articulate information.

Love your blog and appreciate all the thoughtful posts and responses.
Just wanted to let you know that this story has grown beyond this small community. Today there is a blind item on crazydaysandnights.com that points to the Whorga. The blind hints that an ex-boyfriend has text and voicemails from an east coast Housewife that he is threatening to reveal. These messages relate to an affair, and were received within the past year. Speculation is leaning towards Melissa, and I tend to agree. Also, commenters are forwarding other readers to your site for REAL info about the Marcos.
I believe that is a testament to the fine job you have done here at Famewhorgas and the growing community that you are attracting. Congrats and don’t stop!

    Hi all!
I’m heading out for a few weeks travel but wanted to add a few things here.
First to Sackem: Congratulations on your new addition, Ava! What a lovely name! What good news at a time when this blog needs some. 🙂

And to Fame. I think I understand now. Not only the Bryan stuff, of which you have no control over, but also that you started this as a hobby. Something you enjoyed or wanted to do. When that interest becomes numbed or burnt from whatever sources, it has got to be hard to just want to do it anymore. If the feeling is gone… it’s gone. I so get that. I don’t blame you if you have no interest or its just not fun anymore. Hobbies are something you want to do, inherently.

However, selfishly I must add that I’ll really miss your news and opinion here. I have read it all, and enjoyed each read. This blog is only the 2nd place I’ve actually posted to!

Look what you have created here. You started it as a hobby. Now sites that make $$ are quoting you, using your material, and alluding to this site. I can only imagine it continuing to grow as people become more aware of it’s existence. To quit now would be a real shame! IMHO only. All the work you’ve put in here, the people here whose comments also really make this work so well, I would hate to see it end, just as it begins to seemingly really grow some legs!

FW is getting the attention it has long deserved. And yes, I know you did not begin blogging here to get “famous” or make $$, ever. Not even close! But it’s growing anyway, and getting noticed. How many times I recall reading comments that we only wished more viewers knew of this stuff. It seems to be happening. This kind of thing can happen really fast. And can make you freak out a bit! QoM, Bryan, RT, FR, no doubt the FW’s and housewives themselves read your work (and the comments) here.

And now it seems that CDaN – which has a large following online – is also commenting. FW blog is growing! And yup, that means not just the good, but also the bad, and the fugly. Queen of Mean (or whatever) may be big on twitter, but IMO twit land is filled with many (not all!) no-life yappers who post whatever vile little thought that enters their li’l noggins, or they think hahaha all my fans/pals will love this zinger! and wander away to get a sandwich, watch a movie… it means very little to this kind of poster.

Some of us take things more seriously, but these types will get bored picking someone to shreds, and seek out a new poster to bully, threaten, etc. and imo it really means nothing to them! They just want to get a rise, a response – of any kind. Threats of a more personal nature seem almost normal for these stuck-in-middle school types, but also it seems… Well. IMO yet again, lol twitter seems the place for easy easy hit and runs. For lazy bullies, lol. Much more effort than twitting (??) seems less appealing to them, by far. I think, anyway!

I have run on again, and apologize. Fame, you have created a blog that is topical, timely, and relevant. Perhaps taking a much deserved brrrrreak, and maybe at a later date, when some time and space has given fresh perspective, you may want to consider something along this line, but broader? Maybe reality tv in all it’s bizarre forms?

Thank you for having made a space on the big old Internet where respect is common and thought is used, provoked, and will be sorely missed!

Much peace for you, no matter which way you choose to head.

There was an article out last year saying that Joe Guidice’s father was offering one million dollars to whichever son would give him his first grandson…but Joe’s brother had girls too. The fertility doctor was one of the creditors in the Guidice’s bankruptcy suit.

I am sick as a dog today with a stomach bug so I happened to catch Teresa and Kim D. on NYLive today (NBC) supposedly to dispel rumors swirling around upcoming Season 5. The hostesses (don’t know their names) said the execs from Bravo came downstairs and Tre and Kim were told to be quiet so everytime questions were aimed to whether they were filming both ladies just piped in “We are so busy what with Fabellini and Cuffs by Kim D!”. Kim kept interrupting Teresa but was very complimentary to Teresa and Teresa’s girls. i have to say her bracelet cuffs look nice! Teresa and Kim seemed to get along really well together.

Teresa did address the “rumor” of her having a baby by surrogate with Joe. The rumor was started because a “tabloid” (she didn’t name it but it is InTouchWeekly) took some statements she made out of context (gee, what a surprise!) and did an article. Joe would like to try for another baby because he would like a son and their good friend just had a baby by surrogate so he said “Why not try that?” because physicaly Teresa would have a tough time carrying. It was just an off the cuff remark and Teresa is very happy with her “4 healthy, beautiful daughters” and is done having children. They are looking into getting a teacup puppy for the girls!

Teresa has a food line coming out; her book hits shelves May7th; a distributor is being found as Fabellini is going national in July; the MilaniaHairCare line is expanding; and she would love to do Dancing With the Stars!

Caroline, Jacqueline, Kathy, and Melissa – try and top that!

Very Interesting Jeannie – considering that Bravo is NBC’s sister station – the entire interview was, no doubt, for publicity purposes only. Cohen certainly knew about it well before the interview was about to start. Teresa does play the game very well (and I don’t mean that in a derogatory way)!

Thank you Jeannie, hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for sharing the outcome of the interview Jeannie. Very interesting and I wonder what kind of food line? I must say that Teresa puts out some great products! My hubby is cooking Steak Bracciole Roll tonight from Fabilicous — 1st time for that recipe, can’t wait!

Sorry that you are not feeling well — take care and get well soon!

Was she full of hope and peace when she flipped the table screeching obsenities or when she chased Danielle out of a high class place yelling and cursing at the top of her lungs? How can people like you think this scum is a saint. Melissa the skank and parkign lot whore is no better. I honestly dont know who is worse. They both are not role models for middle age women thats for sure.

        • February 7, 2013 at 10:15 PM

That table flip is what has made her so successful although I’m not saying it was exactly a classy thing to do. As far as Danielle and the country club… Bravo producers are the ones that told Teresa to talk to Danielle. Danielle mentioned information Teresa knew she had to have gotten from someone close to her (Melissa?) and THAT’S why she was upset. She just wanted to find out who told her that. It sounds like I’m excusing the behavior but I’m not. Teresa is far from perfect. However, it doesn’t come close to being the creatures that are the JoMeWhorgas… a/k/a the Marcos. I mean really, if you’re going to call Teresa scum for creating drama at times, you have to call every single housewife scum too. Teresa is far from perfect but IMO, she’s far from scum.

    Radaronline is at it again!!!

An “insider” is saying “Teresa is stirring sh–t behind the scenes” and she is scheming to humiliate Melissa. We all knew that it had to happen – Teresa is going to be blamed for Bryan’s appearance on the scene as is mentioned in this article. Here is the link:

    Quote from the article:

“They are desperately trying to tie themselves into the show and find people from Melissa’s past that are willing to lie and give dirt on her to get their 15 minutes of fame,” the source told RadarOnline.com, and said that their actions are starting to worry Melissa and her family.

Well, Melissa maybe you should have worried about all of this a long time ago and not been so desperate yourself for your 15 minutes of fame!

I saw that earlier — it made me laugh.

    • February 7, 2013 at 10:03 PM

I am shocked! Radar Online was always a pro Melissa site in regard to the posters there. It used to be if you went there and said anything good about Teresa, they’d jump down your throat. I didn’t bother much with the site and even if I did read a blog, I wouldn’t comment. Seems things have changed! I only read the top 10-15 comments, but they were 95% pro-Teresa. LOVE IT!! Everyone is getting Melissa’s number. Geez, it’s about time.

Fame, I really do not post often but may I offer you a word of praise and encouragement? I am very disturbed by the genuine realization that the NBC/Bravo are cozied up with online gossip site and even genuine news sources to deliver only the very tightly controlled propaganda that passes for news. Frightening if you consider all the countries who suffer because they are not allowed basic civil liberties including a free press. The Today Show, Radar Online, In Touch, People and many other news and entertainment sources only print the carefully scripted press releases and articles that they deem beneficial to that particular franchise. Fame please do not give up . Please move forward with strength and courage and our admiration. This is about much more than a simple blog about Housewives. It is about revealing the truth, it is about being honest and authentic. It truly frightens me that Bravo has so much power to manipulate the press and the media. I am not trying to be melodramatic but you are on the final frontier of a gasping Free Press that is almost on life support. Please do not give up, do not give in.

    • February 7, 2013 at 8:09 PM

An Ardent Admirere, WOW! I feel the same. I get frustrated with it all. I do not want Fame to stop. This is the finally of free press. CNN Andy’s buddy Anderson and he can tell T she needs to leave the show. Etc…

        February 7, 2013 at 8:33 PM

Kelly, Thanks for reminding me that Anderson Cooper has somehow consumed Andy’s special brand of Koolade . Wendy Williams is trashy and desperate so I don’t expect much from her in regards to even a whiff of integrity. If you look at the circle jerk (sorry if I cause offense) of pandering to Bravo and NBC with any scrutiny we should all be afraid. Very afraid. Scary if you ponder the complicity for an entire ream of outlets all spouting the same tired mantra… Tre bad / Meho good. Watching Panderson Cooper double down on Teresa Guidice was like watching a tough Senior bully a baffled kindergartner. I have only seen what I can only describe as wrathful contempt visited on Teresa from Anderson equalled by his treatment of the Brit plastic surgery promoting Mom. I am done with lamestream media. If Fame recuses herself I totally understand and respect her decision but we will all be poorer for it.

Loved your commentary and observations and agree with you wholeheartedly! In the world of blogging today, especially about the RH franchises, very rarely do you find one that is NOT self-serving or – self-promoting as FameWhorgas is.

    • February 7, 2013 at 10:44 PM

“genuine news sources”, the media will control everything. Some class I took in college 1974 or 1975, I don’t remember, stressed that the media would control everything. I just did what I had to do to pass this class. Now that I am older, I know it is true. Here is one of the many links that states the same thing almost 40 years later.

Many people are following the Jodi Arias trial. The girl who killed her boyfriend because he abused her or not. Did anyone hear about Jeremiah Wright, the father who cut up his special needs son, “like a chicken”? He put his son’s head out on the porch and many thought it was an early Halloween decoration.

The most shocking thing was the the child was alive when the dad started cutting.

The media decides what we need to hear.

Oh Ardent, don’t be surprised that the media has an online gossip site. In my opinion, it is part of the package.

This is why I like this site so much. The truth is heard.

You know what I hate most? It’s this: Being on a caffeine high at 2am, working on payroll, and making two long posts that nobody sees, because THIS thread exists and I posted at the end of the last thread. I had no idea until last night, that Fame was considering leaving, so as usual I’m late to discussion.

Fame: if you’re feeling responsible for what’s transpired with Brian, don’t. I am pretty sure you wrote about him months ago by CTDs (connecting the dots) and putting some things together. Sometimes that’s how it happens, especially for someone as well-researched & informed as you are. Regardless, Brian is being egged on by ninnies who should know better, but can’t resist the allure of keeping the Twitwar going. I guess being MMA, he loves the fight. But what a shame it’s not really even HIS fight, but a bunch of unemployed or underemployed harpies with nothing better to do than fawn on him and encourage him to bicker with all the other women, thus making HIM look bad for participating—-and knowing he’s seriously ILL. Yuk. Ick. His new-found buddies are exploiting him as bad as anyone, and he is too caught up to understand only he can control it. I’m sad for him, because of his diagnosis and the serious nature of what he’s facing. Fighting with a bunch of bitches on Twitter has GOT to rank way down the scale of “important things to do” on anyone’s list, especially someone facing a long road to recovery.

Lay the blame where it belongs, with them. You aren’t wallowing on the battlefield for weeks, encouraging Brian to keep it up, reveling in the “celebrity” of having dozens of eyes reading your nonsense while you word-war with meaningless people. Cut yourself some slack, Fame.

I hope you’ll stay in the game, and stop letting what goes on elsewhere, affect you here. Didn’t one of the HW sing something about rising above? Hope you will!

    February 8, 2013 at 12:38 AM

    My dearest Fame:

I have been absent lately from commenting, but just read the comments here and felt compelled to post to you and others. Jeannie, you are in my thoughts and prayers, hope get better soon; Sackem, congratulations to you, your husband, and now Ava (beautiful name) I hope all is well and enjoy it my dear because it goes all too fast; LilyM-prayers to you and your family in this time, I hope God is with you all and provides you with the help and faith that you need at this time. To any other posters who need help, heartfelt prayers to you all and I hope that you will keep my family in yours, as like so many others, I have a lot going on right now, and just trying to have faith and hope and keep going forward.

Fame, to you I would say that I understand your concerns and feelings regarding your hard work being used and not acknowledged by RT and others and your concerns regarding Bryan. I was glad to see that Bryan himself responded, and I am sure you appreciated that. I was going to say to you that we don’t know what he may also be hearing among his circle that has not been made public, and for that he has made the decisions he has regarding his involvement. Sometimes we have to respond as it affects us worse not to. I am sure as he seems thoughtful and intelligent, that he will make the best decisions for himself regarding his involvement, and I know that nothing you put on this site is malicious, for money, drama or popularity.

Where else on these other sites, could I have personally wished strangers who have become friends, and important to me, prayers, well wishes and congratulations, except for your site. You have started this site for honest and insightful reasons, and it has become a source of integrity and also a community of friends. I can’t think of any of the other tabloid blog sites that this type of comraderie exists. I hope for this reason, you will consider continuing to blog and providing honest information. While this started about the ignorance and dishonesty of these people and the inaccurate portrayal on RHONJ,it has become a community of well wishers and very thoughtful people. This does not on the other sites. I don’t even go to those sites, and if they have used your hard work, I am sorry that they have done so without acknowledging or crediting you as they should have, but “imitation is the highest form of flattery”. It is because it is a site with integrity and trustworthy information, and you should be extremely proud of this site and yourself. With the filming of Season 5 and all that is going on in the social media, there inevitably is a whole lot of scheming, manipulation and underhanded maneuvering on, and sorry, but I don’t like it and don’t believe in it, and do want it and the people who do it to be exposed. Their behavior is everything that I don’t stand for and since they are on television, I think the truth should be heard, because I am tired of people like that being glorified or praised. Through your site, Bryan has received many compliments regarding his integrity and certainly many sincere well wishes and prayers. No other site has done that for a person that is completely unknown to them. I think and hope he realizes that you, as well as the rest of us posters, want him to put his health and feelings above all else. I cannot believe the despicable comments and behavior of the Gorga/Marco family and their cohorts. I really do want that evil exposed for the horrible human beings that they are, but not at the cost of anyone’s health. However, sometimes it is more detrimental to a person’s well being if they don’t answer the lies and false accusations. Personally, I internalize such things until it actually does affect my physical health, so I pick and choose my battles and try not to sweat the small stuff. Integrity is very important to most people, and you have always exemplified that in your blogs.

So Fame, I wish you nothing but good thoughts and hope you will continue to blog as I know I am reading the truth here. I admire your work, but also the community friends that you have built at this site. As I have said before, I could meet all of you tomorrow, and feel like I have known you and been good friends with you forever. It is something to be proud of and certainly something wonderful to be a part of in this crazy world of ours. I know it is a lot of work and probably very taxing on you, and as before, if I can help in any way, you just have to ask, as I would be glad and honored to help. I thank you for all of your hard work and it sounds like you might have had a crisis of conscience, especially about Bryan, but I am glad that he let you know that you have no reason to feel that way. I am sure that there is much more behind the scenes going on that we aren’t privy to. I hope you have read all the encouraging comments and what the site and the people think of you and your blogs. You have much to be proud of, and I hope you keep up the good work. I also thank you for a site where we all vent a little and feel comfortable to speak up and have made friends. Actually Fame, quite an accomplishment, and I am glad to be a small part of it, if only to pray for someone who asks for it. Let us know if you need anything, as you have done much for us. Take care, my friend.

To everyone else, blizzard coming our way starting tomorrow, so God be with everyone in its path, prayers to all of you for all of your troubles, and I hope you all have a great weekend.

P.S. Sackem–I can’t tell you enough, how happy my heart is for you and your family that little Ava is here. This is the joy that life is all about. I have always said since my first child was born, that now you know the true meaning of love. Keep us informed of her progress and I hope you feel well, as birth takes its toll on your body (but so worth it). I am smiling as if I was a proud aunt. (Fame: this is a lot of what your site means to me–being happy for a stranger’s (now friend) joy, and offering words of comfort or hope to someone whose life I might not touch, if not for your site. You have done something very good here–something the other sites cannot claim)

Fame: You’re a good blogger and could expand on many topics. You don’t HAVE to limit yourself to the famewhorgas with your abilities. But if you’re feeling beat down by the nonsense, I can understand that. They ruin whatever positive experience the rest of us could have, and there is very little ability for us to avoid them. My Timeline on Twitter is full of crap all day, and so I just mostly avoid signing in–or try and slide over the nastiness and focus on the more positive stuff, or insulting ppl like Brandi Glanville & YoFo.

Very interesting essay about why to stop watching Bravo. Not the least of which is how so many of the shows WERE being cast & produced by gay men, and that definitely has an impact on how the women are portrayed, what situations they’re put in, how they are expected to behave: everything is over the top, dramatic, bitchy catty and so on. remember THIS is why we loved RHONJ b/c they were normal ladies to begin. Should we blame the Whorgas for changing the show for the worse and trashing it up with the assistance of certain ppl at Bravo? I think so.

Attention Sackem: Congratulations on the birth of your precious precious daughter Ava, such a beautiful name. What incredible joy you must feel to finally have her here. Best wishes to you, hubs, and baby.

Queenz is at again – baiting and taunting Bryan last night.

Qom was called out on Twitter last night for being the mouthpiece of the Marcos/Gorgas to which he replied that that theory was “flawed”.. He did not flat out deny it. He also keeps insisting it is Johnny the Greek who is responsible for Bryan surfacing leaking it to Famewhorgas.

NEWSFLASH TO QUEENZ: Not only is that theory “flawed”, it is dead wrong! Bryan’s name has been floating around ALL the blogs ever since Melissa showed up on the scene. And, if you are so set on the fact that the Greek didn’t even know Bryan before he surfaced and is using him, think again. What you say is nonsensical – how would Johnny be able to know his Twitter handle if he didn’t even know who Bryan was? Fame has it all right here – the truth, not “theories” or “conspiracies”. You are WAY off base. Do you really think there are only two people in this world who have information on Melissa? If you do, then you are very naive.

BRYAN – Do not engage whatsoever with Queenz or anyone else who is “fishing” to gain your confidence!! Stay away from a talking horse who swims as well and thinks they know anything but is late to the table and really doesn’t. Of course, they would love to talk to you just like so many others who do not care about you, do not have your best interests, and want to exploit you. So far, you are doing great but can’t say it often enough – tread carefully and take steps to protect yourself and what YOU want.

Fame ~ I have always enjoyed reading your blog. You speak the truth. (Unlike other blogs who have a lot of discrepencies in their stories, I have always seen truth here.) You back up what you write with documents. I have been watching this tweet tango between Bulldog and Queenz. Last night I saw the Melissa Gorga/ Queenz tweet. It was then when I truly had my “a-ha” moment. By doing so she just condoned Queenz actions. Which in itself is very telling. As a long time reader, first time poster I just want to say I respect your decision to lay low and can only hope you resume blogging soon, if not in the near future.

I just saw that. I copied the tweets below. mzjulesaz, are these the ones you saw? I’m thinking something happened during filming. But on a more serious note, Jackaloon needs to get over it and move on. She’s not moving on if she is still tweeting about it. Please take your own advice.

sounds like a statement a stripper would make, Oh… rumor is she was…. I saw Teresa flipped the table and know the story behind it. Now I want to hear about her stripper moments. I know there has got to be some good stories behind that.. I bet those story has nothing to do with Teresa because Teresa was never a stipper and would never consider doing as such. Teresa has never been a whore. .

Jeez, she really needs to let go. I very much doubt she would use any of those tips. Very much doubt it. Here’s another one too, mzjulesaz. She posted this just before her 30 tips.

          Jacqueline Laurita ‏@JacLaurita
“Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall” ~ William Shakespeare

I really hope she does not think she is one of the virtuous, because someone of virtue wouldn’t be making jabs at other people on twitter. Jackaloon chew on this one:

“Forbear to judge, for we are sinners all.
          Close up his eyes and draw the curtain close;
And let us all to meditation.” ~ William Shakespeare

Yea, we all can quote Shakespeare.

Just her quoting Shakespeare gives me the heebie jeebies.

          • February 9, 2013 at 8:56 AM

Jacko is just angry and jealous. Teresa was on television and she said her new book would be out in May, Fabellini was about to go national and Milania was growing. Kim D. was on also and I have reason to believe her ventures are going better than blk.

I guess that Jackaloon didn’t learn her lesson about the tweeting. She must think she is getting canned next season because she had stopped tweeting about Teresa. I feel the only reason she wasn’t fired this season was because she used her son’s illness to her favor. Bravo wasn’t going to look bad by firing someone who according to her wants to use it as a platform to raise awareness on autism.

Well I want to see how Meho gets out of this one ( her tweet with Qom) but she does it because like someone said earlier only a part of the RHONJ viewers follow the blogs and she knows Mandy or his minions are not going to address these issues on t.v. That is why she does that IMO.

I’m in nw NJ and we got about 18 inches in our area. We are at one of the highest points in the state though, the average around us was just over a foot. Parts east and north of here got over three feet! As of last night, there was still 26 miles of the Long Island Expressway that was closed. I’m sure it’s cleared now but we got frozen rain here today, don’t know what they got as far as precip. We may have another storm coming on Wens but it’s not clear yet what form it will be. Last winter was one of the mildest I recall. This year has been very cold and although we haven’t received THAT much snow, the snow we have got has lasted because of the temps. We still have the rest of Feb and March to get through.

      • February 11, 2013 at 6:36 PM

Wanted to add… the good news is that the shore areas that got hit so bad by Sandy were threatened to be flooded with this last storm but luckily they were spared. They had put up sand barriers for protection. Thank God for that at least.

Have tweeted about this for a couple of weeks. Jacqueline & family are using a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber with their child. Not only does he go inside, so do they. They tweet pics of themselves sitting with him, and let him sit inside using iPad and other devices.

Being chambered in one hundred percent pure oxygen is risky. There is no real scientific proof anyone benefits from it. AND: using electronics inside a highly pressurized chamber can trigger an explosion.

I would bet some company donated or discounted the equipment since they keep promoting it.

I really wonder if they fully researched the risks before agreeing to use it.

I can’t believe they wouldn’t. But there they are.

    • February 10, 2013 at 11:32 AM

I was treated in a hyperbaric chamber for four weeks do to simultaneous Achilles tendon ruptures, a rare side effect of taking an antibiotic. There is some scientific evidence that pressurized oxygen speeds wound healing. The other patients there all had wounds that would not heal such as diabetic sores, etc. I could not use hair conditioner, lotions, makeup, jewelerynail polish, etc. There is no way in hell I could have taken in an ipad or any other sort of device, that is insane. There are very strict protocols. Plus, I don’t know how you get a little kid to sit still for three hours. Also, because of the fact that you are technically diving the pressure on your ears is unbearably painful. Your ears pop like every min. going down which is the first hour and then coming back up which is the last. There will never be any proof that my tendons showed any improvement because of these treatments. My husband would like to think so because he was so desperate to help me. I did it to please him. There is no way in hell that hell that oxygen therapy could help autism. That is simply taking advantage of the gullible. I can’t believe they are subjecting him to this. It was very difficult for me to go through this, but I did it out of love for my husband. I knew it couldn’t hurt me. And I knew I wouldn’t explode because of the strict protocols. There is real scientific evidence that it helps divers who are bent. There is some scientific evidence that it promotes wound healing. but to suggest that it would help somebody with autism, well that doctor is running a scam.

      • February 10, 2013 at 9:12 PM

no they have been testing this on children with autism for years and what some of the test have show is the children seem to be able to to function better calming them down. It is not about a cure it is about the side affects atusim has is what they are targeting. They also have been testing to see if the pure 02 allows them to think clearer and in some indivuduals it has worked to some degree… Not a cure just to help with the symtoms.. I have seen studies where were the indivudal has had tv’s and other electronic devices in with them durning their sessions..

          February 11, 2013 at 2:51 PM

@ david The effects of HBOT are not exactly one hundred percent documented. Even so, all the literature I’ve read suggests they NOT be used with any kind of electronic device inside, so as not to cause an explosion. A quick Google search shows explosions have happened and they are often deadly.

        • February 11, 2013 at 11:41 PM

Actually, I asked an expert in the field, one of the founding fathers of Hyperbaric Medicine, so to speak. He said that it was ridiculous. It does not change your behavior. It has no effect on your cognitive abilities or moods whatsoever.

      • Autumn
        February 11, 2013 at 2:49 PM

Thank you for relating your experiences with HBOT. Very interesting to hear a first-person account. I speculate the Lauritas have probably been given a free HBOT chamber for use in their home, in exchange for promoting the use of it every so often. It’s an expensive piece of equipment. What makes me most suspicious is that for people who want absolute respect and privacy regarding their child—there they are, showing pics of him inside HBOT chamber. That’s hardly what I’d call respecting a child’s privacy, so I speculate they are being compensated for doing it.

        • February 11, 2013 at 11:45 PM

Those machines cost a million dollars at least! And a physician has to be in the room at all times. The attendings are specially trained nurses, in my case most of them were EMT’s.
That is in Florida. So can the Laurita’s afford to have a doctor and a nurse in their home? You have to know what you are doing for Christ’s Sake. One false move and your house blows up. There was a hyperbaric chamber that blew up before Christmas, I believe. I could google it but I am too lazy.

    • February 11, 2013 at 1:01 AM

Autumn I am so glad you said something. So dangerous for all. Cancer is the greatest risk. This promotes fast cell production, this equals cancer cells. So dangerous I would not use it on any living thing. My Onc also says DANGEROUS

    • February 11, 2013 at 6:28 PM

I have chronic lyme disease and some suggested I try this “treatment” for it. I read the risks and decided against it, especially since any proof of benefits was nil. Not that I specifically read anything about it, but I would imagine that anything that could produce a spark would be dangerous around anything having to do with pure oxygen. Maybe they found a way to remove the risk. I surely hope so.

I am in eastern coastal CT and got 22 inches of snow – western CT got way over 3 feet and western LI was socked too as well as RI and MA. Now we are getting another big storm – with rain and wind tomorrow turning whatever is left over into mounds of ice skating ponds. Oh, the joys of a winter wonderland!!

Jacs got a little flack from her tweets about “morons” and “looking 4 their table flipping moment”. Of course, she instantly DM’d and blocked! Her response:

    Jacqueline Laurita ‏@JacLaurita
You can’t break a happy ,honest girl who has a happy, honest life. I know my reality and I am proud of it.
    4:04 PM – 9 Feb 13

    Jacqueline Laurita ‏@JacLaurita
Funny when I used the word “moron”, everyone assumed I was talking about Teresa. That told me everything. :0) Lol! Thanks for the giggle .

I find it quite funny she gives the advicein her “moron” tweet to “let it go”, considering Jacs is the one who is seriously obsessed with all things Teresa. If I were Teresa, I might be starting to get a little concerned. Jacs has proven to be more than a bit unstable with a mean girl mentality – not a good mix.

Moma is possibly right – Jacs tweeted that out of jealousy because Teresa was in the news on a legitimate, mainstream show promoting her brand in such a positive light and atmosphere.

Or, somethng happened in filming to set Jacs off with Teresa.

Or is it possible Jacs was really tweeting about someone else looking for their “table flipping moment”, i.e. either Kim D. or Penny??

We all know whether we liked it or not, Teresa flipping that table was the point of no return – she became the breakout star and no one has been able to duplicate that since. The whole cast has never gotten over that or “let it go”. It really eats them up and now, in watching the “newcomers” film and possibly trying to upstage the older castmembers in order to grab the golden ring, Jacs isn’t taking too kindly to it. Just a theory!

    • Jeannie5233
      February 10, 2013 at 2:26 PM

P.S. That tweet about knowing her reality and and being a happy, honest girl? Yeah, we’ll see how that goes for her after March 14th when the motions will begin to bring charges against her and Chris.

I know it is going to take a very long time years perhaps – and she will be hypocritical in her behavior all throughout while living her fantastical “reality”, but there will come a time when Jacqueline Laurita won’t be able to tweet she’s a “happy, honest girl” anymore.

      February 11, 2013 at 4:09 PM

True… and she didn’t even flip the table… just picked it up from her end. She lost her cool but it was raw emotion. Nothing premeditated. I bet if Teresa could take that moment back she would because I highly doubt she likes being known for that or the fact that another person got her to that point. Teresa is real and is who she is… and that eats them up!

Hi everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss you all so much. We’re all healthy and baby’s well but I’ve hit the baby blues a bit. Boy, I wasn’t prepared for that. I really miss my belly so much and my brain hasn’t made the connection as yet. I’m a whirlpool of emotions, hormones and painkillers. Spontaneous tears are just too much. I’m sure I’ll get through it. I know it’s very common but we rarely speak of it because we’re meant to be so elated by becoming a Mum – and I am, I love my baby with all my heart so I hope this all calms down. The lack of sleep and challenges feeding (not her – me, she’s a nipple pincher and she’s a great sucker, and I’m a good producer, it’s just technique) kind of adds to it all. It’s not full Postnatal Depression by any means, I think it’s just the adjustment of mind and body. You spend nine months fixated on the bump – is the bump ok, have I feed the bump well, has the bump moved today – that the next step is hard to imagine for a first timer. I just get sad because I never want to be separated from her but I know that one day, we will be.

I haven’t kept up with the thread but I’m with the last few posters, Fame I miss you!

Hang in there Sackem, it will get better, I remember those days like they were yesterday. You’re right , noone speaks a word about the emotional roller coaster you’re now on. If I could offer any advice it would be to make sure and take care of yourself as well, don’t feel an ounce of guilt either, you cannot nurture little Ava if you’ve nothing to give. Im not trying to come across as an expert by any stretch, just letting you know this is normal& it doesn’t last.It took more than 9 months to make this miracle, its not going to instantly return to normal. I wish someone would’ve told me this, it would’ve been a great comfort. I know you will back to yourself in no time,in the meantime you always have a sounding board here full of mothers who have been there& offer only support & love. Take it easy& get your rest.

Sackem, it WILL get better, I promise! Please remember, the fact that you have PPD is not a statement on your qualifications as a mom. As you wrote, you are a “whirlpool of emotions, hormones and painkillers.” I remember crying over TV commericals. (thank God I went through PPD before those commercials with the abused animals – I would have been a mess!)

You are a terrific and loving mom – and a very wise one. You are doing exactly the right thing – talking about it! Don’t feel guilty if you need to reach out to family or friends when you need a break. Being a new mom is exhausting!

    • Jeannie5233
      February 12, 2013 at 7:10 AM

Hi Sackem – I am so proud of you for having the courage to reach out and talk about what you are going through. That is definitely a positive step in dealing with what you are feeling right now! Everyone has their story to tell – some experience the “blues” far more than others. I remember cooking my first meal after just getting home from the hospital. Of course, it was pasta with meatballs. My parents had come to give a hand and I thought I felt up to the challenge. My daughter was tucked in her bassinet and we all sat down at the table. I took one bite of my meatball; burst into tears and had a complete meltdown, rushing to my room because I was so embarrassed. My dad, of all people who never talked about “woman issues”, knocked on my door and just held me. Actually, that became one of my best memories of him.

You will get through this – I promise. You are well aware of what is going on – with that knowledge take steps to make sure you take care of YOU. Ava is your first born – a small part of this is apprehension and fear that you are doing the right thing by her. I can assure you – you are!

One of the best things you can do is make sure you give yourself a gift – allow yourself to have some time of your own. Take naps – so important – but also do not lose YOU in all of the new demands of mommyhood. Stay connected with your hubby as your hubby – not just daddy. Lean on each other. Read that book you wanted to or pursue what your interests are even if it is just for a half hour here or there. Just make sure you do it – it does help to keep you centered.

Most importantly, reach out to others; do not isolate yourself. You are right – people don’t talk about this as much as they should, but luckily the stigma is being lifted and there are support systems out there for you if you need it. Call your doctor – tell him/her what is going on. Also, many pediatric groups now have “New Mommy” groups where you get together, along with the baby and have the chance to share all your experiences, fears, and joys.

And just as others have told you, don’t beat yourself up. It took nine months for your body to adjust to pregnancy; it is going to take awhile for it to “get back to normal”. As soon as you can – start to exercise. I know knew mommys sometimes feel they just don’t have the time but exercise will really help you mentally and physically and I don’t mean about just getting your shape back. Exercise also releases hormones and helps to get all those hormones back into balance. Trust me – once you start feeling stronger physically, you will feel so much better emotionally as well. Give yourself some time.

You are doing great Sackem – take care sweetie! We are here for you!

    • February 12, 2013 at 7:46 AM

Sackem everything you are experiencing is normal. Every mother I know has been through it. Just remember it is “an adjustment of mind and body” infused with hormones dropping back to their normal levels. It took me three months after my first born to get back to feeling like myself. It is my belief that during this PPD a mother heart also changes. You know that old Proverb, “A mother’s heart is always with her children”.

Get your rest and proper nourishment, your body has been through a lot. You have produced the miracle of life. Get some Sun, even if it means sitting in front of a window. Whenever possible, take Ava for a stroll.

You are a wonderful and caring mother. Sending you a big, huge, caring hug from one mother to another.

From reading your posts throughout this site you are a wonderful person with a good heart/soul. Your little one is in great hands. I can remember getting advice from so many people that I didn’t pay attention to my own instinct with my 1st child. What a mess I was with the guilt – fill him up, let him cry it out (worst advice ever), etc. What works for others may not work for you BUT it is very important is to nurture yourself at this time. DO NOT feel guilty about the weeping, DO NOT feel guilty if you need alone time, etc. It took 9 months of hormones on overtime going throughout your body and your body is adjusting to the lackthereof. That is why you feel like you’re on a roller coaster. Sleep, eating well and going for walks will help. Remember, you are not superwoman so don’t have that expectation for yourself. It will all come in time….

Sackem it’s ok to cry you have been thru a lot. Try to sleep as much as possible, eat as much as possible. You have created life, nobody tells you how your emotions will be. Your hormones goes crazy after you have the baby. Sometimes i miss being pregnant, and sometimes i wonder if i will survive motherhood. We all do, don’t feel guilty. I’m a co- sleeper with my daughter, i nursed every 2 hours. I was so worn out by time she turned 14 months. We still sleep in the same bed. i still spend half the night making sure she is breathing and has covers on. I also have a 19 year old, he has moved out and is going to college. I miss him but i’m so proud. it’s funny how you ache for them to be a part of you. Then they grow up and you see that they are the best parts of you. Sackem you are in a safe place here, every mother has a story. we really do understand. you can talk to us, the first months are a huge adjustment for you on all levels. Please try to get sleep, food and if you can some help. I haven’t sleep for more than 3 hours a night in almost 5 years, i have to make sure my Maddie is okay. i know silly but i can’t help it.

l4f – What a wise woman you are! You are lucky you have the experience of having one of your chicks leave the nest to draw on and I am sure it helps you get through those sleepless hours! Not only wise but a good mommy too!

Thankyou so much for the support. You have no idea how comforting it is. It’s nice to know I’m not totally crazy! I have to keep refocusing my mind as I had a mild panic attack last night.
I’m trying to get some sleep but the sad thoughts creep in making it tricky at times. You’ve made me feel so much better! Thankyou.
And L4F, I can’t believe you have existed so long with such little sleep. You sound amazing!

Well it’s not the best plan, that’s why i keep saying get some sleep. I’ve gotten used to it but i would not recommend it. Anything you are feeling or want to talk about you can here. No one is perfect, like i tell my kids a perfect day is when only one thing goes wrong. So please don’t be hard on yourself. Last saturday Maddie went with her grandma, i took a nap, woke up having a panic attack, she was not in bed it took a few seconds to remember where she was at. i think that’s funny. Thank you all for your kind words, i knew this was a safe place to talk about the unspoken truth about the first few months of being a mom.

Sackem, I have an eight month old so I remember the beginning quite well. The hardest part for me was not receiving any type of feedback from my son. Was he happy? Did he like taking a tub? Etc. The first couple of months you don’t get a smile or any type of reassurance from your little one. It’s tough to know you are doing the right things and keeping your baby happy.
The best advice I got: at the end of the day, is your little one alive? I know it sounds silly, but the bar is low in terms accomplishments the first two to three months. As long as your daughter is breathing and eating, you are doing great! Again, I know it sounds funny, but all you should focus on in the beginning is keeping your daughter fed and warm. Once you see her first smile (I got mine at 8 weeks), your heart will melt and you’ll realize that everything your doing is on point, and most importantly – worth it! Please kep posting about your experience and know that it’s okay to feel sad, being a mom s hard work!

My dearest Fame we miss you. I know it’s difficult when you work as hard as you do to create this blog and you don’t get the recognition you truly deserve. I will say this you have so many people on here who come for more than the actual blog. I know you didn’t set out to have it this way but it is what it is. We are a family in and of ourselves. You are the creator of this family and it’s just is not the same without you. Please come back.
Sackem I have been reading your posts and they bring tears to my eyes of such fond memories of my first few months after the birth of my children. You too will never forget these times. It’s a roller coaster ride that you never want to get off. As everyone stated take time for yourself. You need it.

Sackem… you are so blessed. Mine is a long, complicated story, but I never had the child I so wanted. I’ve been a step mom, two sons with my ex, and one with my bf who was 9 when I entered his life but he passed at age 19. I’m not jealous of those of you who are lucky enough to have children, but instead take joy in hearing the stories and experiences. You’re all obviously such loving mothers.

SunnyAZ, I can’t agree with you more when you talk about your instincts. I was getting ready to write the same thing when I read your post. I’m very close to my cousin who has an 18 year old and 22 year old, both daughters. They are the light of my life… I love them so so much. My cousin’s mother (my aunt) was from Japan so my cousin was heavily influenced by the Japanese culture. They do some things differently than most here in USA. It would bug me to hear some people say my cousin was doing this or that “wrong.” Who is anyone to say it was wrong? Unless you’re talking abuse or neglect, I don’t think it’s for anyone else to judge what works for each mother or the choices she makes with regard to her children. My cousin obviously did something right because her daughters are beyond wonderful.

It just made me sad to hear love4fame write that

    • February 12, 2013 at 6:09 PM

How did this post? I wasn’t even done yet and was editing it and instead it posted!

love4fame… let me clarify… it made me sad when you said it was silly how you haven’t slept because you always want to make sure Maddie is okay. It’s not silly… I think it’s precious. I feel bad you think it seems silly to anyone.

What I love about everyone here… I quite doubt you’ll get judgments… just support… as it should be. It would make me cringe when my cousin would question herself because someone would question her about certain things she did with her girls. Mostly as they got older, but still, everyone’s different. That’s a good thing… it’s not about being right or wrong.

God bless all of the mothers here.

Thank you, Maddie will be 5 in april. It does make me laugh at myself that i still feel this way. I was just letting Sackem know we all have our own little things and as time goes by we feel ok about it. I don’t feel judged, but i know you need sleep. One poster up thread said sleep, get help, and exercise. I really think taking care of yourself is important. I wouldn’t change a thing it works for me, but i know i need more sleep. So that is silly, if you know what i mean.

Hi everyone. Thank you so much! I’m really worried that we’ll loose each other should this blog cease to exist. We have become more than a bunch of people chatting about a show. You really have become a life line to me. I’m quite isolated, I live in a city but my family is spread across the country and knowing there’s people out there for support is so comforting. Should we start a new blog? With that I mean an new space where we can just talk amongst ourselves?

I would imagine this page will only take so many comments. I can look into starting a space if there’s enough interest.
