Melissa Gorga Overhead Backstage at ‘The View’ Scheming to Takedown Teresa Giudice; Ilana Angel of the Jewish Journal Interviews Penny Drossos Karagiorgis; Star Magazine Reports on Melissa Gorga’s Bravo Audition Tape and Her Connection to Danielle Staub

Bravo created these ‘stars’. These untalented, but delusional women (and some men), have been plucked from obscurity with a promise to become full fledged celebrities with all the bragging rights by agreeing to make fools of themselves on national TV. So far it has worked to some degree, and what they have created is a stable of ‘monsters’ who would sell their very soul for the opportunity. I admit that my ‘interest’ lies more in what takes place off camera since this is where the ‘reality’ begins. Currently Jacqueline is tweeting about the Guidice marriage ‘not seen on the show’. Watching these women ‘implode’ under the hot lights of ‘fame’ is more entertaining than what is presented on these shows. – Pat Johnson, July 14, 2012, StoopidHousewives

‘The View’ Avoids a ‘Housewives’ Rumble by Giving Teresa Giudice Her Own Segment

Teresa Giudice requested and got a separate segment on ‘The View,’ avoiding a confrontation with other Housewives.

“I’ve never been Teresa’s biggest fan but for the life of me I don’t understand why people can’t see through Melissa Gorga. It is so clear to me every time I see her on an episode or interview that she is seething with jealousy and determined to ruin Teresa. I believe Teresa allowed the ladies of The View to ask her any questions they wanted, while Melissa insisted on them asking pointed questions that she had an agenda for answering. You can see her sitting on the sofa, talking over Kathy, interrupting everyone (which is RUDE) and trying to get her digs in on Teresa. I completely understand why some people do not like Teresa, but how can anyone watch this and not see through Melissa? She is such a liar! She has lied so much she can no longer keep her stories straight. Ridiculous!” – SODA, June 8, 2012, Reality Tea

“Mel and Kathy were so pissed that Teresa refused to sit with them because they were hoping for another reunion in which they could throw Tre under the bus and make her look bad. That is how they get fans. People who hate Tre fall for their BS.” – Real uES Lady, June 8, 2012, Reality Tea

“Lookers Dancer in my opinion is a master manipulator. Today she told another lie when asked about how she was cast. She has told us that Bravo told her not to tell Teresa now the story is that she told her the Sunday after she was cast. They only contacted her the Friday before. Sorry, but it doesn’t happen like that and Teresa knows it since a couple of her friends were looked at during that time to join the show. She knew all about their process but her sister in law, brother, cousin can’t even pickup the phone and let her know they were being considered. The process is long and involved between interviews, filming and review by Bravo. It is not an overnight decision.” – old NJ girl, June 8, 2012, Reality Tea

The Real Housewives of New Jersey brought plenty of drama to “The View” on Wednesday.

A source at the daytime talk show tells us producers wanted Teresa Giudice, Melissa George (sic) and Kathy Wakile to appear together on a segment they taped for Friday’s show, but the idea was nixed by Giudice. Our source says the table-flipper requested her own segment, and producers accommodated her because they “didn’t want the other cast members to attack her.”

When George (sic) found out, our source says she “flipped” and was overheard on her cell phone saying,

“Our plan is ruined … so we have to come up with another way to take her down.”

The insider also says “View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck gave George (sic) a real grilling over Giudice’s longstanding claims that George (sic) and Wakile, who are her sister-in-law and cousin, respectively, joined the show behind her back.

Yes this is true. I did ask for a separate segment. Tune in Fri & see why: ‘The View’ avoids a ‘Housewives’ meltdown http://soc.li/gOluRib

The Chirping Twit has a good analysis of who the sources may be. Here’s an excerpt on the Us Weekly insider:

“A show source counters to Us Weekly that it was never Gorga’s intention to meddle with Giudice at the taping. Despite Giudice’s qualms, “Melissa and Kathy were fine to go on,” the insider explains. “They weren’t looking for a confrontation.” What is interesting about the source here is that it gives the intent of both Gorga as well as Wakile. How could anyone assess intent other than the principles? The insider was apparently ANGRY and said: “Teresa pulled this s–t [refusing to film with Melissa] because she wanted the segment for herself,” says the insider. “Melissa had no plan to take her down. There was no attempt to take her down.” My guess is Melissa put out the last story herself or someone emotionally invested in it to have reacted that way.

Note: On The View Melissa said: “I never asked for an apology.” At the summer solstice party she screamed, “you need to apologize to me.” [She didn't ask for an apology, she demanded one!]

“In the New York Daily News Article, a source described overhearing Melissa ‘George’ (they called her ‘George’ instead of ‘Gorga’ throughout the article) talking on her cell phone about her plan to take Teresa down being thwarted. I am pretty sure Teresa and Teresa’s people know how to spell Melissa’s last name. To me, that pretty much proves that it was not Teresa or her people that put the story out. Rather, it is more likely that an independent source overhead the crazy bitch and could not believe she would be talking about taking one of her own family members down in a strategic way. And they ran to NYDN with it. The use of the wrong last name is further support for an independent source that is not even familiar with or a real watcher of RHONJ. It is hilarious too because it shows how irrelevant Melissa is outside of RHONJ. They can’t even get her last name right. ROFL.” [Lola Falana, June 10, 2012, AllAboutTRH.com]

“Melissa said they all had separate dressing rooms and she never saw Teresa at The View taping. So how could Teresa be the ‘source’ who overheard Melissa talking on the phone about taking Teresa down?” [Aunt Julie, June 10, 2012, AllAboutTRH.com]

“On The View set they actually do have separate dressing room areas. The ‘source’ was a member of The View production crew.” [Jennifer, June 10, 2012, AllAboutTRH.com]

Ilana Angel Interviews Penny Drossos

By Ilana Angel, Jewish Journal
June 7, 2012

Ilana Angel of the Jewish Journal interviewed Penny Drossos Karagiorgis in early June 2012. Here’s an excerpt:

“Penny is friends with Teresa Guidice so she is a bit of a RHoNJ insider. She loves Teresa and is pissed off she is being targeted this season. It is hard for her to watch her friend be under attack, but she knows Teresa is strong and she is standing by her. She is also a bit of a pain in the ass for Bravo. By pain in the ass of course I mean they are scared of her. She is a straight shooter who is not afraid to speak her mind, stick up for her friend, and call out the liars. Bravo would be smart to include Penny because it would bring some truth back to the show, but the problem is they don’t want truth. They like the fighting, lies, and hate. They are so out of touch with the fans they don’t get we are tired of watching.”

Melissa Gorga Plotting Against Teresa Giudice, She’s ‘Manipulative And Jealous’

Radar Online
May 30, 2012

Watch out Teresa Giudice, your worst enemy might be in your own family!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has a reputation as a hot-headed villain who is pushing away her co-stars with her diva behavior, but Star magazine has exclusively learned that it’s actually her conniving sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, who’s doing the stirring, turning the women against Teresa.

“Melissa is manipulative and jealous of Teresa’s fame and she has a dirty secret,” a source said about the brunette beauty.

“Years ago, Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, sent a tape to the producers promising that if they were cast on the show, they would do whatever it takes to get rid of Teresa,” the source said about the scheming reality star.

This was Melissa’s last-ditch attempt to get on the show; earlier she even befriended hated original cast member Danielle Staub to curry favor with producers, but nothing worked until she proposed causing havoc for Teresa.

As the source says,

“Melissa is a bad person and holds a grudge against Teresa because of her fame.”
