None of this is a surprise to those of us that have known these people for years before Bravo ever had a show. Melissa’s sisters are called the witch’s of the North & East for a reason. We don’t bother with the ‘witch’ title for Melissa. She’s just called a bitch. Finally Caroline’s true colors are starting to be revealed & Jacqueline’s as well. And don’t think Kathy is any better. She follows Melissa, watches the behavior, engages in the behavior only behind the person’s back, and then tries to make herself look innocent. And her husband? God what scum he is. When Teresa was cast on the show, you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing Melissa, her sisters and their husbands, and Kathy and her husband, call Teresa and her family names. It wasn’t just jealousy, it was hate. If Teresa is smart, she will stay far away from these people, family or not. I knew one day the truth about them would come out, and it’s about time. Melissa wanted Teresa’s life and was green with envy well before RHONJ season 1 even aired. She was seething with hatred, knowing it was them and not her in the spotlight.

Even before the first season aired, she treated Teresa like someone she hated and wanted to destroy.
Melissa was talking shit about Teresa on blogs BEFORE the show ever aired. With the hype on the net before season 1, Melissa was right there talking about her sister in law and how she was this and that, running her down before we even knew who she was. Lysa Simpson, Melissa Gorga’s sister, was playing the fence. On July 23, 2009 she posted on Teresa’s Facebook page this comment:

Beginning in June 2008 (while season 1 of RHONJ was filming), she was bashing (anonymously) Teresa and the other housewives, as well as their husbands, on a blog called OnCommonGround, which AbsurdToSublime discovered and posted on her blog. Caroline and Jac must not have known about this… if they did, how could they befriend Melissa unless they wanted to help take Teresa down?!

As I was cleaning out files from an older blog of mine, I ran across this. It’s not really an article, it’s pieces from another blog, OnCommonGround (The Real Housewives Of New Jersey?, April 16, 2008, 350 comments), that I saw before the Real Housewives of New Jersey aired.
Like an even older blog of mine, the comments on one single post became a blog unto itself.
Much insight here. You can see Melissa Gorga’s comments on Teresa getting the show, comments about Dina and Tommy Manzo, the Brownstone, and this must be how the rumor of Jacqueline Laurita being an ex-stripper must have begun! Joe Giudice’s cheating has apparently been the stuff legends are made of. Note there is no mention of Danielle Staub, interesting because in Seasons 1 and 2 she was blamed for all their problems.
