Melissa Gorga Brings Antonia to Gia Giudice’s Birthday Party
Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga admitted that they had only seen and spoken to each other once (Melissa’s brief appearance at Gia’s and Milania’s joint birthday party held last year on January 28, 2012 at Space Odyssey) since the Posche Fashion Show for the season 4 finale was taped four months earlier on September 27, 2011. The second time they saw and spoke to each other was a year later on September 7, 2012, at the taping of the season 4 reunion special where Melissa told Teresa: “You’re done with me, and you’re done with my kids.”

Melissa brought her daughter Antonia to join the festivities this year at Gia’s birthday party on January 11, 2013 (again held at Space Odyssey). The event was taped for RHONJ season 5 so it should not come as a surprise that Melissa attended Gia’s party but not her goddaughter Gabriella Giudice’s party held on October 4, 2012.
Fame-Whorgas reader Brittany tweeted Melissa, telling her that she didn’t go to Gabriella’s party because there were no cameras there — Melissa tweeted her back saying she wasn’t invited (see tweets below).
When asked by AllAboutTRH on October 10, 2012 if Melissa wished her goddaughter Gabriella a ‘Happy Birthday’, Teresa said:
“No she did not. It was Audriana’s birthday last month and Melissa did call and leave a voicemail wishing her a Happy Birthday, but she did not call Gabriella wishing her a Happy Birthday, which I found odd considering Audriana is really young and won’t understand, but Gabriella knows Melissa is her godmother and is older and does understand. Gabriella actually asked me if her godmother called to wish her a Happy Birthday and I just told Gabriella that Melissa probably did but that I missed the phone call just so Gabriella wouldn’t feel bad, because, like I said, she does understand Melissa is her godmother and she’s at that age where if she knew Melissa didn’t call, it would hurt her, especially since Melissa has called to wish all the others a Happy Birthday.”
Melissa Gorga Attended Gia’s and Milania’s Joint Birthday Party at Space Odyssey Last Year But Then Spread Lies About the Party
Last year, in January 2012, Melissa so desperately wanted to be cast on DWTS that she and Joe attended Makim Chmerkovskiy’s birthday party instead of Gia’s and Milania’s joint birthday party at Space Odyssey. Later in the day, Melissa showed up for a brief appearance at the girls’ party, without Uncle Joe, and then a few days later spewed a bunch of lies to the online tabloids, saying that Teresa was exploiting Gia to put her in the spotlight. Then, almost a year later, during the season 4 reunion in September 2012, Melissa and Jacqueline Laurita conspired to perpetuate a big lie that Teresa physically assaulted Melissa during the party.

RumorFix reported on the accusations made by Melissa during reunion 4 taping that Teresa “roughed her up” at the birthday party last year, in January 2012:
On The Wendy Williams Show, Melissa Gorga said that her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice “roughed her up,” but an eyewitness tells RumorFix exclusively that’s not true!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star claims the incident happened at Gia’s birthday party last year. But Elvira Grau, who is a New Jersey party planner, tells RumorFix correspondent Real Mr. Housewife,
“Teresa never laid a hand on Melissa.”
Elvira, who reportedly turned down a role on RHONJ, adds,
“I promise you that if — in fact — there was an altercation, with so many people present, this would have surfaced sooner than now.”
Elvira explains,
“Teresa was annoyed at Melissa trying to give Teresa’s kids Christmas presents to her during the birthday party, when Melissa really should have given them [to the kids] herself in person at the house and not at Gia’s birthday party at Space Odysssey USA many months later. Teresa asked Melissa politely to please drop off the gifts at the house, so the kids could see their aunt and cousins.
“To Teresa, it’s not physical presents but the thought to the kids. Teresa wanted Melissa’s attention to be to the kids and spending time, not the actual presents. Teresa even said ‘My kids don’t need any more presents, they need their cousins’ which I thought was beautiful,” Elvira told us.
“The truth is that Melissa is trying to paint Teresa as this horrible villain that twists wrists and that’s simply not the truth. Teresa is hurting right now because of all this family drama. It’s killing her parents! She didn’t want to be on the show with her family because she always knew Melissa would stoop this low. It’s so sad. Her nightmares came true. Melissa’s insecurity gets the best of her, unfortunately,” she said defending Teresa.
Grau also added,
“I want America to know that Teresa is the most loving and fun person who loves her husband, kids, parents, and friends. We spent four days over Labor Day weekend together and I wish America saw the true Teresa — in the kitchen with her parents cooking the most delicious Italian food, serving, and cleaning. They are a real old school Italian beautiful family.”
Grau owns Space Odyssey USA in Englewood, NJ, which hosts both children and adult birthday parties, as well as other private events.
RumorFix has reached out to Melissa’s reps for comment.
The Huffington Post reported on Teresa’s response to the “roughing up” accusations from September 2012:
Teresa Giudice is disputing her sister-in-law’s accusation that Giudice attacked her, saying it was the other way around.
“I usually don’t comment on stories about me, but I cannot ignore Melissa Marco’s vicious lie that I assaulted her at my own children’s birthday party while she was holding my baby nephew,” says Giudice. “It is completely untrue in every way. To make such a horrible accusation that involves our children is beyond despicable and speaks to her true character.”
Melissa recently did a round of interviews, including an Us Weekly cover and an appearance on Wendy Williams’ show, where she had some tough criticism for Giudice. However, Giudice and her friends refuse to remain silent over accusations that she “roughed up” anyone.
“This supposedly happened at Gia and Milania’s very big, very public joint birthday party in January,” a friend of Giudice tells me. “The party was at Space Odyssey, owned by Elvira Grau, who was with Teresa the entire time. Elvira has publicly tweeted that it’s untrue. It was a very public party with a hired photographer there. No one saw them do anything but talk. They didn’t even hug because Melissa was holding her baby, so Teresa just kissed the baby. If anything had happened, why didn’t Melissa immediately go to the press about it then? She puts every other little complaint on Twitter. Nothing.”
In what is expected to be the most dramatic “Real Housewives” reunion of all time, viewers will get to see for themselves how bad things have gotten between these two family members.
“Melissa lost it at the reunion and put her hands on Teresa,” one Bravo insider tells me. “Teresa started yelling that she was going to ‘sue’ Melissa, but has not taken any legal action yet.”

Melissa Still Wants to be Cast on ‘Dancing with the Stars’
We all know that Melissa can’t dance, but she desperately has been trying to be cast on DWTS since January 2012, or probably earlier since she took ballroom dancing classes with Antonio before she was officially cast on RHONJ. In Bravo’s lost footage of Melissa and Antonia taking ballroom dancing lessons in season 3, Melissa said:
“I can’t lie. Antonia is definitely a little mini me. She loves the spotlight. She’s absolutely gorgeous. And she’s got moves, this little girl. You know, she gets it from her mama.”
On January 26, 2012, Melissa’s first suggested via a tweet that she should be cast on DWTS:
