On May 16, 2011 NJ.com asked Melissa: What was it like for you, airing your family’s dirty laundry on television?
“It was rough. It wasn’t easy. It wasn’t something any of us wanted to do. We knew most likely what was going to happen, how it was going to come out. We look at it as an incredible opportunity, that if we go in and we’re telling the truth and we stay true to who we are, hopefully we’ll come out shining.”
On April 12, 2012, Melissa told Reality Tea:
“Teresa and I were not speaking before the show. Do you think that would have happened at the Christening if we were a happy family?”
On May 6, 2012, on WWHL, Melissa said the relationship between her and Teresa was good in the beginning but hasn’t been in years. She also said that, if anything, the relationship between the two of them before she was cast on the show was worse than than it is now.
This would explain why Teresa was against her joining the show. They were feuding, but not as bad as they are now. They spent holidays and special occasions together, but nothing more. Now because of their intrusion on the show, they don’t even speak! If there were problems between them before the show, then why would Melissa join the cast, unless she had an agenda, which from the first episode she and Joe clearly had.
For Melissa to sit on Andy Cohen’s show and say that the situation isn’t any worse since filming cannot possibly be true. And, if it is true, then, obviously, both she and Joe knew full well that the situation could deteriorate even more once they joined the show. So, they made that choice to benefit themselves and didn’t care at all how it would affect Teresa and her family.
The video above has been removed from YouTube. The clip was from Regis and Kelly Live (July 1, 2011). In the episode, Regis urged NJ ‘Housewives’ Teresa and Melissa to end their feud for their parents. Here’s what The Huffington Post had to say:
Reeg stepped up Friday and got real with ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ stars Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. They’ve been feuding on the show this season, and Regis zeroed in on how the reality TV drama was affecting their real-life families, particularly Teresa and Joe Giudice’s parents.
“What do your mother and father say about this?” he asked Teresa.
“I don’t think they ever want to be on the show again, because they’re disgusted. Look, my legs are shaking now, just saying that about my parents.”
“You’re picked to be on the show because there could be a conflict. You know that, right?” he asked Melissa, who’s married to Teresa’s brother Joe. “So you’re giving them what they want, but it’s to the disadvantage of your parents,” he continued, as they both nodded silently in agreement.
Melissa is the reason why Joe Gorga and Teresa are not on such good terms… Melissa and her evil sisters. And she should remember the reason she is on the show is because of Teresa… and the reason she got one single song out is because of Teresa – she seems to be forgetting this.
If Joe and Melissa really cared about their family and wanted to make amends with everyone, then they should be congratulating and praising Teresa publicly just as they disgraced her publicly. That’s if they were smart, but they’re not!
Why would you need to explain to anybody what Melissa did to Teresa. The Gorgas and the Wakiles sold out their family, promising to air out the dirty laundry just so they could be on TV. Teresa never said anything negative about her family in the first two seasons: she kept her wounded relationship with her family away from the camera. Her famewhore SIL wanted a music career so badly that she roped in her husband and his cousin to bring drama.
Teresa was on this show for the first two seasons and never said anything bad about her brother or his wife or her cousin. There would have been nothing wrong with them coming on the show IF they had NOT tried to bring Teresa down because of their greed and envy. This is why many people cannot look at these two people and see nothing but bad from them… and the fact that they cannot see anything wrong with what they did to Teresa and continue to do to her.
It is clear that Teresa loves Joe. During season 1 she mentioned him during her talking head interview when she flipped a table; during season 2 she announced to the entire crowd at her housewarming party how much she loved her brother (it didn’t air season 2, but was included in season 3), and she made a scene with Danielle at the reunion telling her not to bring up her family… namely Melissa and Joe. During season 3 she was genuinely and obviously sad that her relationship with her brother was broken (i.e. the book signing) when it used to be so good.
Joe Gorga, on the other hand, treats his sister like crap: calling her garbage, telling her to walk the f–k away, calling her a f—ing bitch, airing out their dirty laundry on national TV, being a famewhore, and not going to his goddaughter’s and niece’s birthday party, who he claims on TV to LOVE SO MUCH (and publicly stating on twitter that he wished he was invited to Gia’s quiet party). Joe Gorga tweeted a complaint that he was not invited to Gia’s party, trying to slam Teresa and shame her for not inviting him… it is pretty appalling that he did not attend the party which was held after her birthday.
Joe Gorga is such a hypocrite! In the first episode of season 3 he was all “sad” that Teresa wanted fame instead of family and was jealous of her relationship with the Lauritas and Manzos. The Gorgas want fame and will do anything or go anywhere to get it! Disgusting!! (Don’t they get it? Their 15 minutes of “D” list celebrity are almost over)… Even though it’s sad he didn’t go to Gia’s birthday party, it’s probably for the best: he would have made Gia read her birthday card to him like he did to Teresa when he went to her book signing! (Awkward) LOL
Joe Gorga is a typical child that never grew up. He is in competition with his wife for attention and would compete with his own kids if he thought it would advance his own popularity. He will definitely burn out his 15 minutes of fame; and his family will not be there for him at all… there is only so much a person can forgive and forget and, fortunately, for his nieces they will ALWAYS remember this… and if they should forget, there is always the film/internet to remind them. It is better that they learn at this early age exactly what they are dealing with in regards to him than to invest a lot of their formative years with him only to have his true colors show later on in life. He is one sad piece of “garbage”… zero respect for a “man” that calls his sister garbage, makes his niece cry, and screams at his parents.
Melissa and Joe are a textbook case of what instant fame without working hard (talent) can do to people. They are narcissists and pathological liars. Simply put: they are users and they do nothing unless it benefits them.
All anyone has to do is watch the first couple of episodes of season 3, the first season that Melissa and Kathy were on the show. They trashed Teresa, her husband, her kids, her intelligence, her books, the way she talks, her mothering skills, and more. And yet they want her to keep her opinions to herself .

Wow, very interesting facts. Someone has put a lot of work and research into gathering all this information, and presented together, it clearly shows the motivation behind the Gorgas.
I was watching the fight scene at the christening again, and noticed that Joe Gorga bellows about how he’s been putting up with this for “ten years” from Joe Giudice. TEN YEARS? !!! That would be long before Melissa Gorga ever entered the picture.
Clearly there are other issues that nobody is talking about.
Also did you hear Joe Giudice say before he and Teresa were married the feud existed between him and Joe Gorga and he almost did not marry Teresa because of the fighting.
Evidently the two Joe’s were good friends and then Joe started dating Teresa and this is when the problems started. Is this jealousy to the highest degree from Joe Gorga cause I have that with my younger brother. He wants me to himself and gets jealous of me getting attention but if he gets out of line which he does I get out of his way and his life–I would never tolerate him talking to me like Teresa is doing from her brother. She deserves to be treated decent by him and she needs to get therapy with that to be strong enough to not tolerate it–its abuse and his cohorts of Melissa and kathy are as abusive if not worse to her.
I also think Melissa Gorga is much more articulate and savvy when it comes to manipulating facts and conversations than any of the other Hwives (including Teresa). Hopefully when Teresa is gone from the show, she will turn on Caroline Soprano and cousin Kathy.
If I were fighting with my family and it really “killed me in side” like M & Joe claims (eye-roll) I would not go on a show that my SIL was (already) on. What good could come out of it. You don’t reconcile on national t.v. Kathy is guilty of this as well, her mother and Tree’s father don’t speak, she knew what she was doing. That ‘s just f-d up.
I just wish there was more proof (I do believe Melissa and Joe did it) to show that MELISSA did bribe Bravo with her audition tapes. It’s pretty sick of Bravo and the Production Co. to allow this and be apart of it. One thing I would like to know is how did this get out? Who told who?
Too bad that everything Danielle had been saying is true, like Dina (the reason why she left the show when she tried to blame it on her) But I do wonder why Dina said that Danielle called her ex, if she did or didn’t, which we will assume she didn’t or D was just asked, “Hey did ur ex have to sign for the girls to be on tv) maybe she was tricked in to asking. How would D know that Dina forged her ex’s signature, right?
My question is why are other people on iron clad contracts who aren’t on the show?

I ask because your articles are detailed and long, it just seems odd a viewer or a fan would take this much time, but hey, I’m not judging lol, I just find Melissa and Kathy to be more disturbed fame whores.
Teresa is no angel, but I see now why she is the way she is. I just pray to god they don’t do therapy on TV!
Jac & Caroline need to mind their own business. Don’t get me started on them two, I’ve never seen two people who were more determined than them two as far as not minding their own business. So what if Tree asked AT FIRST for help. By Jac showing personal texts and shit, then how she met Danielle’s ex, Jac is Fatal Attraction creepy! Caroline & Jac have nerve talking about how Tree said to not film with Melissa, they did the same thing with Danielle.

I don’t know Teresa or anyone associated with the show. I can’t stand liars and people who bear false witness against another… it’s not okay. When Melissa and the rest of them stop lying, etc., I’ll stop blogging about them. Melissa and her husband got what they wanted…fame…so now they need to shut it and leave Teresa, her daughters and her husband alone. And Teresa and her husband need to do the same — no more calling Melissa a gold-digger and a tramp even if that’s what she is.
To Teresa’s credit, she has stopped reacting to them, and she and her husband have not said anything negative about the rest of the cast since season 4 was filmed, but the rest of them are still acting as ‘inside sources’ to the blogs, falsely accusing Teresa.
It looks like Teresa has signed on for another RHONJ season and may be getting a Bravo spinoff. I will not watch her spinoff because (even though she may not be aware) she is allowing Bravo to exploit her minor children. She needs to be her own executive producer and get a show on another network … and protect her children and husband from this embarrassment.
All of the Housewives need to protect their minor children and not allow Bravo to film them (especially if a parent is not with them as they are being filmed) — the children don’t have the maturity to make that decision for themselves.

I always known Mellissa was a snake in the grass, a Joe is a punk. Joe you can love your wife and sister at the same time just tell them to leave you out of it and mean it. Why are you mad at Teresa because Bravo didn’t pick you guys, that’s crap! Joe Gorga please look at your wife face when you ask for sex, she looks like she was to scream HELL NO!
This is “BoysNmore”, I actually wrote “Fame Whorgas”, and the Bravo editor changed it to “Gorga.” I wrote back that they changed my post but of course they didn’t post that one. However, on another blog, I believe to the editor’s page, I wrote “Ok, how’s this, a website that has Fame and Whorgas in the title…” and they DID post that one!
I saw that one, but didn’t they change it later? I couldn’t find it.

Right because Teresa is a saint!! that is why she flipped out and flipped a table at a dinner in front of her small children That is also why she chased Danielle through the country club because Teresa totally started that for no reason!! I have not seen any of the women on the show act like she has not even Danielle!! She insults everyone and then says its a joke ha ha come on its funny!! Is it? Say what you will about Caroline but at least she owns it !! Say what you will about Melissa because its obvious Teresa is so jealous of her –Melissa is prettier has an actual forehead and yes she can sing.
Teresa confronted Danielle because Danielle was spreading rumors about her financial situation, rumors that Melissa was feeding to Danielle. Teresa lost control, for sure, by following Danielle to the parking lot, but she wanted answers. Teresa apologized to Danielle at the second reunion, and it was sincere. She told her that she never tried to hurt her family or talk dirt about her… Teresa didn’t have her investigated and she wasn’t the one spreading rumors about her… all of that was done by the Manzos. Teresa just wanted Danielle to stop spreading rumors about her. She got involved in the Manzo family drama with Danielle out of loyalty to her friends… Danielle was hurting the Manzos and Teresa was defending her friends. She flipped the table when Danielle was condescending to her by telling her, as if she were a child, to pay attention… I get the feeling Teresa had been talked down to and made to feel less than intelligent as she was going through school, and this brought back bad feelings, causing her to react so dramatically. Teresa and Danielle were fine after they cooled down, and Joe Giudice asked her to join them for a drink at the bar and Chris Laurita told her she was welcome in his home anytime. [The children were asked to leave the room because the nature of the conversation (the charges in the book) was for adults only.]
She heard rumors rumors rumors !! that were not really rumors at all. Do these people not realize when you file bankruptcy its public information. I do not remember her apologizing to Danielle I remember her chasing her out of the room and having to be subdued by Andy and she even pushed him. She was told to stay her ass on the couch. I hardly think Caroline and Dina need Teresa to fight their battles. Maybe the rumors Teresa keeps hearing are the voices in her head.
Teresa apologized. So did Jacqueline. Danielle hugged Jac for a good minute, telling her how much she loved her, which was really awkward because Jacqueline looked petrified. Only Caroline refused to forgive Danielle. All of this happened at the very end of part 2 of reunion 2. Bravo reran it before season 4 premiered. I still have it on my DVR. Here’s how it went down:
When Danielle is telling Andy she will drop the lawsuits, Teresa says in a calm, gentle voice:
“Can I just say one thing? Danielle, I never called a newspaper, a magazine, tweet about you, never do I do any of that. I have four beautiful daughters, that’s what I concentrate on, not you. I’m not trying to take you down. That’s not what I’m trying to do. You attacked me and I attacked you back. That’s it. But am I trying to hurt you in a bad way. No.” (Danielle gets up and walks over with open arms to Teresa, leans down and hugs her and gently says to Teresa, ‘Sorry’; Teresa hugs her back, all while Caroline is making ridiculous faces; and then Danielle moves on to hug Jac and gently says ‘Sorry’; Teresa lifts up her arms and leans backward with a sigh and a smile, then fans herself and says ‘Faint’).
It’s all on tape and is a very sweet moment, and the reunion would have ended on a positive note if Caroline wouldn’t have gone on and spoiled it with her negativity.

During the second half of the Real Housewives of New Jersey last night, all the ladies hugged and made up. Except for Caroline Manzo. She was having none of it, and saw through Danielle Staub‘s fake pronouncements about how much she cared for Jacqueline Laurita and her daughter Ashley Holmes — who Danielle pressed charges against and accused of assaulting her last year.
“I knew she wasn’t sorry,” Caroline told Life & Style magazine. “I wasn’t about to let her end the show on a fake positive note. I refused to give her that moment.”
“It’s different to forgive than to give up,” Jacqueline told the magazine about her decision to forgive Danielle during the show, which was filmed weeks ago. “I just gave up. We had been taping for 12 hours, and I was exhausted. I just wanted everything to go away. That’s why I did it. I just couldn’t deal with it anymore.”
“During the finale, Danielle offered to stop the war of words,” Caroline added wisely. “But she’s still talking about everyone. She broke her promise. Things have not changed with her one bit. She’s the same person now that she’s always been, and I want nothing to do with her.”

Caroline is beautiful and if she did not want to drink the koolaide like the other women well Hats off to Caroline !! Just because you are on tv does not mean you have to sell your soul ..Caroline remains true to herself and her beliefs and does not compromise and if people do not like it then that is their right. I see a very strong woman who’s kids have a deep deep love and respect for her. So okay Teresa apologized to Danielle then she went wacko and never looked back!!

. She also says Melissa copies everything she does well she copied Bethenny because Bethenny came up with Skinny Margarita and Teresas book is Skinny Italian and Bethenny always used to say fabulosity and guess what Teresa used fabulicious.
You’re right… Bethenny has trademarked the word “skinny.” NOT! There’s a blog here about how Melissa copies Teresa. No comparison to Teresa using a couple of the same words as somebody else.
I am so glad that someone has brought those fame whores (The Gorgas) to the light. Why would Tre be jealous of Mel? Tre had the hit show first! Tre was Fan fav waaay before Mel joined….I believe all of this info about those whores and Mel and her sisters are nothing but gold digging whores and they are teaching “baby sis” Mel just how to do it right. Mel shows absolutely no interest in Joey, she had those babies to trap him and Tre kno this. Joey is just too damn dumb to realize she is going to clean his accounts!!! As for Caroline….that old bitch goes where ever the wind blows….and Jac follows…mighty funny how when Tre was pulling out stacks of cash and parading her kids around her and modeling her many outfits around everyone, The whole Manzo family adored her, but now when they hit hard times, everything Tre does just irritates Caroline and her grown ass kids….like last season, when Tre was modeling her swimsuits, Caroline wanted to kill her, but seasons 1&2 she just adored it!!!! Please, they are not fooling anyone…Caroline sees a new “rich” younger version of the “Guidices” , and she ditches Tre and Joe and her new teachers pets are Joey and Mel…shame.
When will the infamous Gorga video get “accidentally” leaked? It would make for one of the best reunions in housewife history if Andy were to pull it out…
Wouldn’t it be something , If Melissa and Teresa came up with this whole family drama against each other to make Housewives of New Jersey 1# on Bravo, To get rid of the Manzo and Laurita all together? Didn’t Melissa say when she first came on the show that she met Joe Gorga at a gentleman’s club where she bar tended and now when the bald headed guy shows up she says she worked in a biking bar and was not a dancer. Now a tabloid has a story out where Melissa is saying she met Joe Gorga in the Cayman Islands. Bikini bars are sleeze places but many are owned by Russians and one place does have a lot of bald headed guys there.
Seems to me that Danielle, Jacqueline and Melissa all have interesting similar past.
Uhmmmm…. I hate the entire cast, especially Caroline but this is not objective. Not one person on this cast is completely innocent or guilty. Why Teresa thinks she has the right to dictate her brother’s decision to audition for a show —- is weird. Joe wanting to go on while fighting with sister —- equally weird.
Theresa is nuts. She believes that she should be more important to her brother than his own wife. A normal, healthy person allows those they love to have more than one important person in their lives.
She is so inarticulate I wonder who writes her blogs. Honestly, I haven’t read any of them, but from what I’ve read online, they could not be penned by her. I’m wondering if the writer of this blog writes them for Theresa. Some of you call her Tre, as if you know her. Are our lives so devoid of meaning that we spend this kind of energy on these characters that probably have IQs somewhere in the top double digit?
Theresa is a whack job that cannot explain herself, she lacks the ability to form thoughts or sentences and it has nothing to do with Italian being her first language.
If people are really consumed with liars and people being “set up” I suggest you take a look at what’s happening in our country politically, we’re being robbed and set up and I think it would do all of us some good if we got involved in making sure our representatives didn’t sell us out. Can you imagine if the energy spent writing this were used to make our politicians accountable. And if by some stroke of luck, you are involved in civics, please direct me to that website. I have to respectfully disagree with much of what you have written here.
First, her name is spelled “Teresa”, no H. You are entitled to think she is nuts if that is the impression you get. But I am unsure why you are under the impression that she feels she should be the most important person/woman in her brother’s life. Did she say that? Most of her commentary regarding her relationship with her brother has been about the fact that it changed after he got married. She has also said that their relationship changed after SHE got married. I don’t ever recall her saying that she believes she should be the most important person in her brother’s life. Only that she wishes for things to be the way they were when they all got along.
Yes, Teresa is inarticulate. She knows this. Her fans know it. Her haters know it. She is horrendously unskilled at articulating herself. A lot of people have this problem. And yes, it very much can be due to the fact that English is not her first language. She has said several times that she thinks in Italian ans translates to English in her head which sometimes causes her speech to get jumbled or come out the wrong way. To her credit, most Americans only speak English and speak/write it poorly. Teresa speaks two languages fluently. She just happens to be less than stellar at speaking one of them.
Does she write her own blogs? We don’t know. Even if she doesn’t, it means that she herself recognizes her own flaw and knows well enough to do something about it. They are still HER thoughts compiled in a cohesive manner by someone who is better with words than she is. Smart move on her part. (And you are judging this even though you admit you have never read one of her blogs?)
It’s very insulting to question this blogger’s integrity by implying that he/she is also writing Teresa’s blogs, BTW.
And finally, not that I need to explain MY life to you but since you ended with that bomb of a comment about the meaning of life… Do you truly fail to realize that people can watch a TV show while at the same time keeping themselves apprised of current events? Do you think that MY entire life is dedicated to The Real Housewives of New Jersey simply because I read and comment on a blog? To you, that indicates that my life is “devoid of meaning”? What a sweeping generalization to make based on absolutely nothing. One is not indicative of the other.
This is a BLOG. It is based on ONE topic. If you went off to a blog about civics, would you accuse those people of living meaningless lives because they were commenting on THAT one topic?
I think most of us realize that there are very serious problems in the world. Did it occur to you that this show is one hour a week of escape from real world problems? Or how about this: I enjoy it and I don’t have to quantify that with reasons.

Personally , I find it hard to believe Teresa Giudice has nothing to do with this site. Is it odd to anyone else that everyone on this show is slammed but the Giudices ?
No,it was stated clearly that the truth is what the blogger was going after. So it stands to reason that those who are doing everything they can think of to hurt the Giudice`s are come off smelling very bad.
