The Producers Are the Ones Pulling the Strings – They Are Behind It All and Teresa is Just Their Pawn – If the Cast Hasn’t Figured This Out By Now, They’re All Dumbasses!

“Melissa doesn’t want anyone to focus on whether or not the story is true because she knows that the truth will come out. Instead, she wants to focus on Teresa being behind the rumors. It puts Teresa on the defense and Melissa on the offense. Melissa doesn’t have to defend herself against the rumors if she focuses on Teresa’s involvement. Teresa will NEVER be able to prove she wasn’t involved. I felt so bad for her last night at the end when she really thought she was vindicated. It will never happen. It doesn’t benefit Melissa to acknowledge Teresa is not involved in her troubles because then she’d have to focus on defending herself against the rumors. If it were me and I wrote a book about a happy marriage and then my ex-best friend came out publicly to say that I had cheated on my husband, I would sue her for defamation of character and for potentially sabotaging the sales of my book…IF IT WEREN’T TRUE.” – YouOldMattress, August 18, 2013, Fame-Whorgas
Joe and Melissa Gorga implied in their testimonials (THs) during season 5 episode 12 that Teresa Giudice is pulling the strings and leashes of Kim D, Penny Drossos and Jan Marie DeDolce, but we all know that it’s the producers doing the pulling. According to Jan in an exclusive interview with AllAboutTRH, she was tricked into participating, but Kim D and Penny willingly complied with the producers’ requests, and none of them are members of an invisible army led by Teresa.
If the cast does not understand that they are being manipulated by producers then they’re dumbasses.
Penny can’t say who is driving the storyline (“who is asking her questions about Melissa”) because it is the producers, just like Jacqueline couldn’t say who was texting her at the season 4 finale because it was executive producer Cat Rodriguez. The producers gave Penny a spot on the show for the sole purpose of bringing the dirt on Melissa. The producers are behind it all, and Teresa is just their pawn.
Season 5 episode 12 was very frustrating to watch for viewers who understand the game because we know there won’t be resolution to the never-ending storyline with Teresa as the villain and Melissa as the victim. Savvy viewers have reached their limits, and ratings for the show will continue to fall.
“I have a feeling that the ‘Melissa is a cheater’ storyline is going to be overshadowed with a ‘who wanted to know if Melissa cheated?’ theme! Just like what happened when Jan brought up Melissa cheating and she tried to turn the topic to, ‘Why was my sister-in-law having drinks with my friend?’ I found Melissa’s body language evident of guilt, though. Jan telling Melissa she deserved an academy award, and then saying, ‘Thank you Jesus!,’ was priceless! I still don’t care if she cheated, though, because the Gorgas will deny any proof given. They’ll use the, ‘These people are after their 15 minutes of fame!’ – kind of like what they did to Teresa when they were cast on the show! I just want to ask the Gorgas, ‘How does it feel to be used for 15 minutes?’” – ceeeseee, August 12, 2013, Fame-Whorgas
Is Teresa being a good employee and willingly playing the fool? Corky21 has a theory, which he/she posted on April 4, 2013 at Fame-Whorgas:
“I have a theory. I think Teresa and Bravo have a deal that it’s okay to keep Teresa as the bad guy. Look, here is a whole blog (FW) against Melissa and Joe. When someone is victimized, as is plain to see with Teresa, more people come to their side. More people means more fans, more sales, etc. I’m sure Bravo gets a cut of Teresa’s profits because they helped launch her little empire. In order to keep that train rolling, there has to be drama surrounding Teresa or else no one would watch the show or buy her products. At times, it becomes really bad for Teresa — and I am a Tre fan and I feel for her — but remember, she had a huge bankruptcy to iron out and all this drama brings money to her debt. Most of the show is fake too: they shoot and re-shoot fights, tell the housewives what to bring up, etc., so it makes me wonder about some of the other drama. I believe the whole issue with Melissa’s past is true and the recent fight was real, etc., but much is set up. I may be wrong, but I wonder why Teresa would go through all of this crap just for a small chunk of change. She must be getting quite a bit more than any other housewife in the entire franchise to keep this train rolling, and she needs it. So I hope she can stay strong through all the mud that may be coming with a bad edit, but I think she knew ahead of time — she must have known that they were going to do this to her, and it’s all for the money. If I’m wrong, and Bravo really hates Teresa — and she is being set up again and she’s not getting tons of money for the pain — then, wow, poor Teresa, what a fool.”
The following are excerpts from Melissa’s and Teresa’s Bravo blogs for episode 12.
Trying Too Hard to be Innocent

Thank you all so much! I’m overwhelmed. It’s such a huge honor to be here. First of all, I’d like to thank the Academy for giving me this incredible award. Thanks to my co-stars. You make me look good! Special thanks to all of the back-stabbers, trouble makers, gossipers, and sh– stirrers out there! You’ve made me what I am today! Truly! LOL! I would love to be as great an actress as my former friend claims. Actually as far as you’re concerned Martin Scorsese, I am!
Well, that was a bizarre and confusing night. I’m sure you are just as dizzy as I am. Teresa and I had already talked about the rumors and she told me to just “ignore it.” So I was surprised when she called and suggested that her launch party would be the “perfect time” to confront the people that have been spreading these lies about me. It was a long time since we’ve been together as a family and supporting one another. I knew it was going to be a big night for her and I didn’t understand why she even allowed them to come in the first place.
As you can see I don’t like to be confrontational. I’ve learned to step around the pit when the snakes are hungry. But I couldn’t avoid a confrontation this time. The magazine cover. The rumors. I had to deal with it head on to make it stop.
Like Teresa said, we need to do what Dr. V. suggested and be a united front and back each other up. In that regard, it was a missed opportunity. I would have loved it if Teresa said something to back me up. Then again, she didn’t have to. No one had to. I could have just stood there silently, nodding along as Jan and Penny revealed themselves to be exactly what they are. Their stories had more holes than a punchboard. Why would “people” ask questions about me to someone I’d never met? It just doesn’t add up.
Didn’t you love Joe’s expression during that whole conversation? It was priceless. He was on the verge of laughing in their faces. The whole thing was a joke! When we were watching the episode, it was like Comedy Night at the Improv. Joe is my united front. He always backs me up!
Jan and I, along with a lot of other people, hung out when we were young. We partied and went to clubs. I got married at 25 and had my baby girl at 26. My partying days were behind me and a lot of my old friendships faded. It happens.
Accusing me of having “skeletons under my bed” is just ridiculous. Like what? When I was a teenager, I went to clubs? I kissed a boy before Joe? Stop the freakin’ presses.
It’s all true. Once upon a time, I was young and had fun. You got me! Now I’m older and I have another kind of fun with my husband and three children. Yes, I’ve changed! As bad as I am at counting, I know there’s a difference between 21 and 34.
The bottom line: Jan and I were friends for five minutes, a million years ago. We grew apart. She chose to lie about me for 15 minutes. Whatever. I wish her well and God bless.
Melissa Can Handle Herself

I was sorry that Melissa got into a fight with one of her best friends at the launch party. For the record, I didn’t invite Jan or Penny. The party was open to any salon owners who called in and spoke with the Youthful 8 company reps. As soon as I found out Jan had RSVPed, I called Melissa to warn her and make sure she would be OK with it. If Melissa didn’t want them to come, believe me, I would have uninvited them immediately!
I don’t really know Jan, I just know she was one of Melissa’s best girlfriends, and they were in each other’s wedding. I have no idea why Jan and Melissa would have a falling out, but like I said in my interview on the show, I have Melissa’s back. Like Dr. V suggested to us, I thought it was best that Melissa confront Jan directly, and I was happy to support her. When Jan and Melissa were talking, I was right there to make sure it didn’t get out of hand. My brother was right there too, and he wasn’t upset, shrugging it off as crazy talk, so I did too. My main concern was that Melissa knew I was there for her.
Melissa and Jan have a history. They’ve been best friends for 12 years. That’s why Melissa invited Jan to lunch to talk about her new book (and me…). I’m there for Melissa, but I wasn’t going to get involved because it didn’t have anything to do with me. And Melissa’s a big girl. I know she can handle herself. We all saw that at Lake George.
Penny is another salon owner that I have met a few times at public events. As she said, we’re acquaintances, not friends. It was kind of awkward to ask her that to her face, but I wanted Melissa and Joey to hear it directly from her since they were convinced Penny was talking badly about Melissa and that she was my friend. For a whole year, my brother and Melissa believed I had something to do with Angelo showing up at the fashion show and saying hi to Melissa, when I didn’t. But them believing that was hurting our relationship. I wanted to fix that more than anything. I told them I had nothing to do with it, Kim D told them, and now Penny told them too. What more can I do? I’m done trying to defend myself. If my brother doesn’t believe me by now over strangers, there’s nothing I can do.
Watching myself on the episode, I look so uncomfortable because I was! My launch party was very important to me and I was praying it would be successful and not end in a big “white trash” brawl. I never know who’s going to attack who, and people came prepared for a fight! Penny even came with a bodyguard! When asked who he was, he answered, “I hurt people for a living.” A bodyguard and my brother in the same room? They were eyeing each other and I was freaked out. It was nerve-wracking having my brand hang in the balance of people who just want to fight.
It’s been really exhausting these last few seasons to be constantly accused of everything that ever happens to other people. Trying to constantly vindicate myself to my only sibling, to watch my family get ripped apart by rumors from strangers, it’s not a good feeling. I’m so tired of working on eggshells. I just want this all to be behind us.
I know it must be frustrating for Melissa to have people say bad things about her, believe me, I know! But I don’t think she was targeted this season or last season any more than any of us. It kind of goes with the territory of being on TV. People like to say stuff about you, magazines like to write stuff about you. As I told Melissa, you have to shrug it off. Life & Style has done 2 untrue cover stories about cheating in my marriage, so I know first-hand that they are full of crap.
