“We got a glimpse of how you chirp in Joey’s ear (next episode, bus ride). I’m sure off camera, it is even worse. You say you want to work it out, but you keep feeding your hubby BS like that, and that is why this is going no where. You are getting sloppy with your sneakiness! And I, for one, am glad the REAL you is finally being aired!” – kristyk, July 12, 2013, Melissa’s Bravo Blog
In the First Look (which aired on July 11, 2013) of season 5 episode 7, Rosie, the Wakiles and the Gorgas on the bus to Lake George talk smack about the Giudices, and Melissa’s mic picks up on her low whispering to Joe about the Giudice’s marriage (or as Teresa puts it, “Melissa is chirping in my brother’s ear” and “mindf*cking” him). She is a major hypocrite – pointing fingers at others when they talk about her marriage, and acting high and mighty as if she doesn’t do the same to Joe and Teresa.
In Melissa’s book (not the “marriage bible/sex book”), it’s perfectly fine for her to make cheating accusations about Joe Giudice but it’s not OK for Teresa to sit there while Melissa’s friend accuses her of cheating, the same friend that Melissa sat with two weeks earlier and laughed along with when they ridiculed and mocked Teresa. Melissa complains about what other people do when she does the exact same thing.
The following is a transcript of their discussion on the bus.
Richie: Listen, the Manzos and Lauritas, by them not coming to this trip, gave her such a big fuckin’ pass. Because they know. They used to hear it right from her mouth about my wife and about your wife. They can call her out on stuff.
Melissa: It would have been nice to have an extra mouthpiece.
Joey: I don’t think you’re going to change somebody that’s in competition, trying to be somebody they’re not. You’re not gonna change them! Joe to me, is, he’s a fake.
Melissa whispers to Joe, and the mic catches it (voice over – captions are on the screen): He doesn’t love her. He’s a cheater. He’s an asshole. So he doesn’t give a fuck what she does.
Melissa’s TH: Teresa wants me to go through what she goes through in her life. And I feel like she’s so mad that Joe embraces me and he comes home every night, and maybe it’s different over there. But that’s not fair to me.
Rosie to the Gorgas: Don’t go too much on their marriage.
Richie: They don’t have a god damn marriage.

I can’t wait to hear Melissa’s excuse for calling Joe Giudice a cheater…
(a) “I was driven to it emotionally. It’s Teresa’s fault.”
(b) “It was edited to make it look like I said that but I didn’t. It’s the editors fault.”
(c) “I forgot I was mic’d. It’s the sound recorders fault.”
(d) “I didn’t start the conversation, only added to it. It was everyone else’s fault.”
Last night on the First Look – there was a segment with Josephine, Melissa and the kids – Melissa is encouraging them to dance and there is a shot of little Joey dancing and grabbing his crotch. Melissa says “Oh, you’re doing Michael Jackson!”. That is what she told someone on Twitter when they called her out on that disgusting video of little Joey.
Two things –
First, maybe it is the “Michael Jackson” move but who teaches a kid that move at three years old??? I remember when MJ first did it, it caused alot of outrage and people were offended – and he was a grown man (well, sort of!). Grabbing your crotch and thrusting your hips is a blatant sexual move – let’s remember also that MJ’s fanbase demographic was composed of pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults. If you’re teaching your THREE year old how to dance, is that one of the first steps you would show him how to do? What ever happened to tap, ball, chain, and switch?? The Gorgas probably don’t even know what that is?!
Second, I think this particular scene was filmed to do damage control after the fallout from that video. The move little Joey made in that video and in this clip are similar but not exactly the same. In the video, he is clearly moving his arm up and down. By the airing of this clip, this brings up the video once more to those on social media who are already aware of it, raises the whole issue up again for debate, and opens the Gorgas up to new criticism.
If the Gorgas asked to have this scene filmed – and I think they did, thinking it would make people “understand” – they are dumber than bricks. It would have been far better to let this issue die a slow death. Idiots.
In a TH from last night’s First Look, this is what Josephine said about why he wants to go to the Retreat – it’s definitely fighting words and certainly not for reconciliation:
“I wanna go and confront Teresa. She has this army behind her that’s spreading these allegations about my wife. I’m fu*king pissed! What is she doing?!?!?!”
When Teresa screams at Josephine that he is listening to strangers – not his blood, I believe that she was referring to the blogs, tabloids, and social media.
Then Fame got the email saying that Melissa thinks FW is orchestrated by Teresa.
I believe both of these references from the show confirms what Fame’s source said. The Gorgas just cannot fathom and wrap it around their pea-sized brains that other people – MASSES of people, not just Teresa – see them for who they really are and are calling them out on it!
The following are transcripts of other previews for episode 7.
The Housewives pack their bags and head up to a frozen Lake George to thaw out their issues. Teresa prepares to confront Jacqueline, Melissa chips away at Teresa’s lies, while Kathy plays referee on the sidelines. Years of hostility fracture the group when relationship building exercises turn in to a throwdown between the Joes — threatening to crumble this fragile group forever.
“The Loyalty is Broken” – The feud between Teresa and her brother Joe gets physical.
Shots of Lake George, the exterior and interior of the castle the cast is staying at for their retreat flash across the screen as the following voice-overs are heard.
Teresa: The loyalty between us is broken.
Kathy: We’re not here to prove you wrong; we’re here to hope you stop.
Joey: You’re not ready to move forward.
Joe: This fu*king kid’s got a problem. He’s gonna get me mad one day. You don’t wanna get me mad.
Teresa: Blood is thicker than water.
Kathy: I can’t help but realize it’s awkward. . .like really awkward.
Scene cuts to what appears to be a conference room and Melissa is on her knees, screaming: Stop hurting us!!
Teresa, screaming and standing over Melissa: I want you (inaudible). . .
Melissa: Stop hurting us!!
Kathy looks on.
Teresa to Joey: Get balls! Be a man! Stick with your blood!
Melissa is standing in the background, also watching.
Joey, sneering: I’m not sticking with scum like you!!

“Calm on the Outside, Anxious on the Inside” – Teresa gets ready to go on this retreat to finally resolve the tension between her and Joe Gorga.
At Teresa’s house.
Teresa: Joe! Bring your suitcase up here! C’mon, babe, we gotta go!
Teresa’s girls are wrestling on the couch.
Teresa: Alright! Stop it!
Gia, looking on: What is your problem?
Milania dances wildly around, enjoying herself.
Teresa: Did you have breakfast already?
Milania: I ate a hundred Twizzlers!
Gia watches her sisters with a typical pre-teen look.
Teresa: Are you gonna miss Mommy?
Milania: Where are you going?
Teresa: To Lake George on a retreat. It’s only adults though.
Milania: I can fit in your luggage.
Milania lays in Teresa’s suitcase.
Teresa, laughing: You can’t fit in there!
Joe walks into the bedroom.
Teresa: Hi, honey!
Joe: What’s up?
Audriana: You can be the monster!
Joe: No, I don’t want to be the monster. I’m tired!
Teresa: Alright – be the monster for them.
Audriana: Try to get me!
Joe growls and runs after her. She giggles and laughs as Joe, still growling, picks her up and gives her “raspberries”.
Joe: That’s it! You’re dead!
Joe runs after Milania, grabs her and gives her a bear hug.
Audriana: Nah! Nah! Na! Nah! Nah!
Joe, laughing: You guys are tiring me out before I go to this damn thing!
Gia is still watching from the couch.
Joe: What are we doing anyway?
Teresa: I have relationship experts coming up there. They’re going to try and help us communicate.
Joe: Didn’t youse try that sh*t before?
Teresa: Well, we did therapy. . .Once!!
Flashback to the therapy session Teresa and Joey attended last Season.
Therapist: Be careful about your expectations.
Joey looks condescending and skeptical.
Therapist: Walking away is your best friend.
Back to Teresa’s bedroom.
Teresa: Now we are going to try this.
Teresa TH: I may seem really calm on the outside but I’m really anxious on the inside. I feel like my brother and I are riding a roller coaster and I just want this crazy fu*king ride to end. Hopefully, we will become stronger that ever.
Joe: Well, alright.
Hat Tip: Thanks as always, Jeannie5233, for the transcripts!
