Bravo Pushes the RHONJ Cast to Reconcile for the Cameras; Jacqueline Laurita Gets Free Tummy Tuck in California

Photos of Teresa, Melissa, Jacqueline and Caroline together at the Newark airport were tweeted on Saturday, March 16, 2013. According to Tom Murro (friend to the Manzo/Laurita camp), the cast, along with their husbands, went to Arizona for a spa retreat to celebrate Melissa’s birthday (March 21st).
It looks like Jennifer Dalton is being phased out and producers are pushing the official Housewives to reconcile for the cameras. Perhaps Bravo is concerned that if there is a major cast shakeup, RHONJ season 5 will bomb like RHONY.
Jacqueline just came back from California after getting a free tummy tuck (she was suppose to attend Tamra Barney‘s bachelorette party on February 27th but, due to taping for RHONJ, couldn’t make it). Her tummy tuck was taped for season 5 as a promo for Dr. Brent, the cosmetic surgeon who performed the procedure (apparently, Ashlee confirmed in a Celebuzz interview that the trip is part of season 5 and was paid for by Bravo). The plastic surgery was done for free in return for advertising via Twitter and on the show (when it premieres), just like the the Gorgas and Wakiles advertise their dental work so they can get it free.
Dr Brent’s full name is Dr. Brent Moelleken, who is a plastic surgeon specializing in tummy tucks with offices in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Beverly Hills. He is married to Dayna Devon, the former co-host of Extra, and rumor has it she is a potential new cast member of RHOBH next season.

Yes, Melissa’s face says alot to and Jac just appears to be happy to be recognised.
Messy’s face ALWAYS looks SO uncomfortable in pictures. I feel like she’s always censoring herself, trying not to smile too much, making sure her body is “perfectly” positioned… Everything she does is so calculated and it always shows, with her body language and her facial expressions. I really cannot stomach her and cannot wait for her “fifteen minutes” to finally be over.
Yes, that first picture Melissa and Jackass look like Siamese twins. Teresa looks the same. Jack and Mel look afraid. I would be if I were those two. I hope we see Jac being arrested for fraud and Mel for living free off her contractors home. I wonder who is watching NIcholas during Jac’s tummy tuck and party? If Nicholas were my baby, I would be spending every waking minute with him, following the “plan” the professionals have put into place. There is no way I would have the time to be tweeting, reading articles all day long, flying all over the country promoting blk., attending a bachelortte party clear across the country and getting a tummy tuck. I do not think Jac is putting Nicholas’ needs first. This is why I have a hard time believing Nicholas is actually autisic. Given all the drinking Jac does on television, I think Nicholas could be suffering more from fetal alcohol syndrome. Just my opinion.
As for the tummy tuck, I had four children and up until menopause hit me a few years ago, I managed to stay fit. Now with healthy eating and exercise I am becoming fit again. Believe me, it is hard work, emphasis on the word “work”. So unless Jac puts the bottle down, eats well and exercises, the tummy tuck will not last. Just call me old fashioned, I just do not believe in putting a perfectly healthy body through surgery for cosmetic purposes. Most of the people that I know with autistic children have great familial/friend support groups and try to keep their lives as normal as possible including doing trips away from the kid(s). If I remember correctly, Nick is in school 6 hours a day, so it’s not taking away from him during that time when she tweets/researches. She really hasn’t done that many trips for BLK and the bachelorette party was in NYC. I don’t think it FAS, he doesn’t have the physical characteristics of a FAS child. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like the character we see portrayed on NJ and her twitter rants are horrific. However, she needs time away as well in order to keep whatever sanity she might have in check for Nick.
I don’t get the plastic surgery and why people do it and/or the injections! I have a friend who does the injections and after 10 years, I’m watching her face melt.
I really do not keep up with Jac that much and have no family or friends with an autisic child. What does not sit well with me is the timing and the fact it took eight months to get Nicholas a diagnosis. Then there was Albie and the women with an autisic child, claiming blk. had done wonders. I suppose my post was more focused on the distrust I have in the Laurita’s and Jac always having a drink in her hands, morning, noon and night. However, that could be Bravo’s editing at work.
As I have stated, why put a healthy body through surgery for cosmetic purposes and the injections are a form of botulism, a poison. It is no wonder your friend’s face is melting. Look I am just so old fashioned about this cosmetic surgery stuff.
I agree on the autism dx and to have to wait for insurance … I call total BS on that. The BLK autism success story came out a month or two before she went public with the DX so yep BS again. The Lauritas are “shady”.
new jersey has one of the best autism programs in the country, i’m sure if wacko really checked this out, she would have got the help right away
I have two very close friends who have autistic children in their family – one is a much more severe diagnosis than the other and they both reside in New Jersey. As Lucille says, NJ is THE best state in the country for comprehensive treatment and support for autistic children as well as for all the members of the family.
Both of these families, especially the one who is homeschooled because he needs so much therapy and attention, do not spend that much time away from their children who need them. They both have the wherewithal and finances to bring in help and support and do so but it is minimal as they feel their place is with their child. They do take short breaks for themselves and to spend good, quality time with their other kids. The siblings of these two very special children are totally on board and are given the opportunity for their own therapy as well. As I said, these families are lucky enough to be able to afford help; however, the State provides a very large portion of that help.
Both of these families are remarkable and have created a wonderful, familial bond with each member as they have used the special needs of the child as an opportunity to create a closeness amongst them that is a joy to watch and is enviable.
I find it awful that Jacs would expose her son to cameras in any capacity, even if it is minimal. With cameras following her, she is running to events; to CA; now to AZ, and soon will be at Kim D’s party. Based on what I observe how my friends are dealing with their autistic children, I feel Jacs really needs to re-evalutate what her priorities should be. In my opinion, what should be, first and foremost, is Nicholas and her other son.
When Nicholas is all grown up and, hopefully, a self-sufficient, responsive adult, there will be plenty of time for trips, parties, and R & R. Until then, she needs to be taking care of and overseeing her child’s needs as much as is reasonably possible.
I initially focused on the pictures first and not the captions……My first thought was …well Caroline just woke up cuz she is in her jammies and in need of a brush and a cup of coffee….She did get the face that she deserved at 50….(thanks for the reference momjackie)

I’ve been to Sedona and Scottsdale – both are very beautiful but, boy, it can be hot there depending on the time of year. And I visited Tombstone because my husband is an avid old Westerns fan and he had to go see it! I never heard of the pink jeep tour though until you told us about it – that would be fun to watch them all do!. I also think it would be fun to see all of them take a mule ride down the Grand Canyon! Can you see any of them on a mule – it would be funny!
Watching Lauren (and Caroline and Albert) lose weight without any effort has to make Jac jealous. I wonder if she’s also having lapband surgery done at the same time? Or maybe that’s coming after she’s recovered from the tummy tuck.

Hey Jax, I just had a baby and I sadly gained 60 pounds much to my attempts to NOT gain that much. I’ve lost 57 of it 8 months later by exercising and not shoving my face full of food. Lift a weight, not a burger. It won’t kill you.
That said, I do believe in plastic surgery if it’s what you want, I just don’t believe in as a way out for the lazy people like Jax and Lapband.

Truth be told, I got stuck with the last 10 lbs and could not drop it. I started calorie counting a month and a half ago and that was a wakeup call. I was eating too much before – even though it was mostly good foods, it was still too much. I set up an account on myfitnesspal and ate the 1300 calories it told me and I lost 1 lb a week. So it can be done, but I’ve seen Jax eat 1300 calories on a 1 hour show, so clearly it can’t be done by her.
I’ve never seen Xanjax more happy every season except when it came to food. Her Christmas cocktail party she hired a chef and all she kept saying was look at all this food I’m so excited! At Melissa’s house, omg I live banana bread, season 2 after Dina quit, I LOVE PIE! Hahahaha I can kind of relate, my inner fat girl comes out with good food too

The next season of RHONJ looks like a total snoozefest. I can’t watch any shows on Bravo. They are all the same. I’d rather watch General Hospital where a story line is centered around relish (saw that on “The Soup”). The few minutes I saw of clips about relish was far more interesting than the crap Bravo tries to pass off as “reality”.

I have two adult nephs – one nearing 40 and one 28 – that are on the spectrum. The oldest is high functioning aspergers. In the last 10 years he married and has a newborn and is behind the scenes as a medical research assistant. He’s brilliant but due to the condition couldn’t navigate medical school directly. The younger is near to the autististic fine line…he needs daily supervision to hold his menial job at a pizza parlor. He’s the opposite of his brother in that while science/facts were a comfort to the oldest, his outlet is art. Beyond talented…hauntingly beautiful creations. Both are very happy, so despite the struggles (and the schools are very unforgiving here in MO) so goal achieved.
I’m putting together some photo albums (for the last year lol – encompassing several generations) – in ALL of them, neither neph looks happy in posed photo’s. I’m talking birthday/Christmas etc at my parents/their grandparents. By posed, I mean where they are the focus – unwrapping a specific gift or blowing out birthday candles. Even in groups of cousins shots, they are looking down/looking miserable.
There is one beautiful shot of my younger neph riding a horse…his hair blowing and his face skyward that I plan to blow up as a present for his Mom – but the key here is that he was totally unaware of the camera.
When I think of what chaos THE BRAVO CAMERAS/CAMERA CREW/CORDS/WIRES/CABLES/LIGHTING will entail at the Laurita household – even if Nick isn’t “featured” I quite literally could blow a gasket. A small flash camera caused the discomfort on the faces of my nephs – 2-3 times a year at family gatherings – what kind of Mother (asked rhetorically) lets a network into a newly diagnosed pre-schoolers life?

Fine – if you want to write articles, give interviews, and sponsor fundraisers but Jacs, as his MOTHER, is supposed to protect him – not exploit him. And that is what she is doing. And I also find it despicable.
I will cringe if I see that little boy on screen – imagine how he might feel when he is all grown up – how does she know, at this early age, how Nicholas is going to feel knowing there is footage of him, at his most vulnerable, out there for all the world to see – who is she to expose him like this for all of posperity. I find it to be disrespectful of who Nicholas is and who he will become. As his mother, she should be respectful of that – there will one day be a Nicholas who is a man and may just look back on this and be very hurt and resentful. One of the most trusted people in his childhood took it upon themselves to expose him – for what? A storyline? Jacs could have very well used her “celebrity” to bring awareness to autism without putting direct focus on her young son. I don’t see Jenny McCarthy or Holly Robinson Peete or other celeb moms out there parading their sons.
When we become parents, we must always look out for what is best for our children – whether it be the here and now or in the future. To even think about having those cameras around her son let alone make the conscious decision to go ahead because “it will bring awereness and iif it helps one child. . . blah, blah, blah” is a very selfish decision – but I am not surprised at all.
Thank you so much for putting into words exactly what I have been thinking!! They need to move into a small home that they can afford and Chris needs to get a real job and stop with the scamming. Jac needs to put all she has into her sons, I don’t think all this will be good for poor little Nick.
Good afternoon fellow #RHONJ watchers. Let’s face it: If Teresa didn’t make nice-nice with the cast, they’d all be screwed this season.
She’s obviously bending over backwards to work with Bravo & production to mend fences and get along for the sake of the show. The cast better be damned well aware of that—it’s not THEM people are tuning in to see. It’s Teresa. And if they never made another appearance–the show WOULD go on without them. I doubt the same could be said if Tre walked away.
We ended the season hearing it was the end for Wakile, Manzo, Laurita….! and yet, we know at least 2/3 tucked their tails between their legs and returned – because they have absolutely nothing else going on (except continuing trying to sell stuff).
I just do NOT know how Tre manages to get past their despicable behavior last year, especially the nasty nasty things that were said at the Reunion.
I hope she finally wised up enough to negotiate strongly w/Bravo—and was able to trade off doing THIS season for a future project without the bitches she works with.

I have two neices, both autistic. The oldest one, age 21 has never spoken a word. She also enjoys riding horses and swimming, the younger one parrots speach, but does not hold a conversation. Both are from

You are so right about someone like your sister-in-law being someone who should be writing a blog to help others, now thats a blog I would take time to read. Not something from someone just using the topic for her own prosperity and limelight! I have to say Jacqueline Laurita really is so unlikable in my opinion! There are many things we can do in life and get second chances at in life, but raising our children is not one of them!

Teresa tweeted Lisa(RHOBH) a good luck message for Dancing with the Stars tonight. I found that to be very sweet and I wish more of the housewives would be supportive of one another. I get that they have drama for the ratings but Bravo and some of the ladies take it overboard. As the saying goes to much of anything is never good for you. Come on Bravo why not have a mix of ladies showing us their careers, family, trials and tribulations with just a little splash of drama(You know the kind that you get over in about 5 minutes).Drama that is preferably “Family Free”. Come on we ladies can be supportive of one another, just take a look at this site. We may disagree sometimes but we support each other and we dont even know each other personally. You are reading to much into it. I bet that was an event that both ladies attended. . The producers wanted to develop a storyline to out Melissa as a stripper and a cheater. Remember Teresa is a good employee and is told to socialize with the people the information to expose Melissa.
Could someone please tell me how to explain Hanukkah to my 4 year old. We are not Jewish, I don’t know where she heard the word. I feel i should answer her, but i really don’t know the answer. With it being around christmas, i told her its like their christmas, but i know that’s wrong. ( i just don’t know why) Just to be clear i have respect for all faiths and i want to be honest with her. Another thing she goes around saying Namaste. where is she learning all of this. She tells me god is talking to her heart, okay. But i have never studied religion so i’m lost. i need help. Remember she is 4 so we want to be honest but age sensitive. I’m sorry to ask this but i can’t ask my mom, she will get mad.( she’s Baptist, raised Pentecostal ) To her there is only one point of view. Thank you to all who help

IMO Estelle and JPG over at allabout are the same person-I think it is amazing that Jac’s Dad initials are JPG-Jerome Patrick Grippe. Silly I know, but I think there may be a very good chance that Jac, Bonnie, Jerome, Ashley and other family members post here under those 2 names. Would love to know the IP Addresses.
