Teresa Giudice Listed on IMDb as One of Many Cameos in Feature Documentary 'Skum Rocks!'

According to Teresa Giudice’s IMDb page, she is one of many to have a cameo in the feature documentary “Skum Rocks!” to be released in 2013. If this is true, Melissa is going to blow a gasket!

Skum Rocks! a full length fea­ture doc­u­men­tary about the rise and fall of one of the strangest acts in Rock His­to­ry.

The film be­gins with the band’s on­set in the mid 1980’s as an avant garde col­lege rock band, whose band mem­bers were mem­bers of the William & Mary var­si­ty soc­cer team. Hav­ing no mu­si­cal back­ground, the band wrote their own songs and quick­ly emerged as one of Vir­ginia’s largest col­lege draws.

By the late 1980’s, the band be­gan to gain crit­i­cal ac­claim as well as an ex­pand­ing fan base that al­lowed the band to be brazen with their fi­nan­cial and busi­ness de­ci­sions. They turned down sev­er­al record com­pa­nies ad­vances, and be­gan record­ing their own record la­bel ‘Refuse Records’ in what they be­lieved to be the next White Al­bum. Af­ter 3 years, and sev­er­al hun­dred’s of thou­sands of dol­lars lat­er, the band’s mas­ter tapes were stolen in a car jack­ing in Mi­a­mi. They band went bankrupt short­ly there­after.

The doc­u­men­tary fo­cus­es on the band’s mem­bers as well as the strange path they trav­eled. No one is left un­scathed in this bru­tal­ly hon­est, yet en­tire­ly en­ter­tain­ing look at the fail­ure of a great rock band. From the road crew they re­cruit­ed from a soup kitchen, to the gui­tarist who was ob­sessed with Traci Lords, to the vast ar­ray of drum­mers that no body seemed to re­mem­ber, to the orig­i­nal bass play­ers who nev­er learned notes, ‘Skum Rocks’ takes the rock doc­u­men­tary to a new lev­el. One in which an in depth look in­to how it all came crash­ing down in a burn­ing mess.

Jer­ry Mann, one of the band’s lead gui­tarists, died of di­a­bet­ic com­pli­ca­tions last Novem­ber when this pro­ject was just un­der­way. The film is be­ing ded­i­cat­ed to his mem­o­ry. Al­ice Coop­er will nar­rate.

Celebri­ty cameos in­clude Stephen Bauer, Jon Stew­art, Kevin Bacon, Julianne Hough, Matthew Broderick, Fran Drescher, Topher Grace, Brooke Shields, Traci Lords, Phil Don­ahue, Luther Camp­bell, Bruce Horns­by, Paul Rodgers, Vince Neil, Paul Stan­ley to name a few, make this film fun, fast paced and thor­ough­ly en­joy­able.

By the end, peo­ple will be pulling for them to get back to­geth­er and give it one more shot. And why not, they are fun like­able, and just make re­al­ly bad de­ci­sions, that led to their demise.

The band filmed a 3 song set at the Cameo The­atre on Mi­a­mi Beach last Novem­ber for the film, which was the first time the en­tire band had been to­geth­er since 1991.

Note: The original release date was scheduled for 2010 so, if IMDb’s cast list is accurate and Teresa is in the film, her cameo probably was filmed in 2009.
