Photos from Gia’s Birthday Party Suggest Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice Had a Heated Discussion

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, 40, and Melissa Gorga, 33, sunk to new lows at a birthday party for Teresa’s 12-year-old daughter, Gia. “Melissa got [verbally] attacked by Teresa and her friends,” an eyewitness tells In Touch about the January 11, 2013 bash. “Teresa’s pal Kim D. was drunk and was the instigator, stirring the pot — as always — over petty stuff.” (Melissa was one of only two guests who showed up not wearing the party’s theme color of white). - In Touch, January 17, 2013, Exclusive: The Family Feud Continues: Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice Still at War
On January 13, 2013, Us Weekly, which has been heavily promoting Melissa Gorga, published a story about Gia’s birthday party, with photos suggesting that Teresa and Melissa had a heated discussion during the party. According to Us Weekly:
“Melissa and Teresa were seen chatting with Kim DePaola and Jennifer Dalton with a few finger-pointing gestures. Melissa attended the party with her children Antonia, Gino and Joey, but husband Joe has been recovering from the flu.”
Reality Tea has a story on the party with photos (see next two photos) of Kim D talking to Melissa, which makes you wonder just what she is telling her. Could they be discussing the phone call Teresa took at the holiday Posche Fashion Show on December 3, 2012, the one where Kim D and Penny approached Teresa with information about Melissa’s infidelity, and Teresa agreed to the call with someone who confirmed that Melissa cheated on Joe after they were married.
Perhaps this was Melissa’s first time seeing Teresa since the season 4 reunion special taped on September 7, 2012 (prior to that, Joe and Melissa hadn’t spoken to Teresa for a year — except for Melissa’s brief appearance last January at Gia’s Space Odyssey birthday party). Melissa should have kept her mouth shut and waited until another time, not a child’s birthday party, to air her grievances.
The birthday party had a white theme but notice in the photos below that BOTH Melissa and Jennifer Dalton (who appeared on season 2 episode 5 of Bravo’s “Pregnant in Heels” and now is a “friend of Housewife” Teresa for RHONJ season 5) did not wear white.

I’m just curious, if Bravo was filming this and all is under contract wouldn’t they say no photos or no camera’s was someone from a mag there to snap this all happening just waiting in the background for this to happen.
I think Bravo done this put a few photos up to the highest bidder, so we get snippets of what is coming up and eager to watch when it hit the TV.

Wow ?!? Just watched the Casey Anthony thing on ID ,it just struck me how much she reminds me of a certain someone!!now I really want to puke and its not the flu!!!
I saw that too and it brought up the anger in me again. That reporter said that after learning more she feels that the jury had no choice but to acquit her… the prosecution didn’t prove murder 1 and that’s the only choice they were given. I saw bs. I thought the evidence was absolutely there to prove murder 1. I thought this at the time and I still think this… jurors misunderstand what reasonable doubt is. They think it’s beyond any doubt at all… that if they have even a slight question they can’t find guilt. It means beyond a REASONABLE doubt with reasonable being the operative word (think I made that clear… lol). The prosecution does NOT have to prove how the victim was murdered or even why (although it helps). They also accept a smoking gun. Circumstantial evidence is just as good and just as important as forensic evidence. I don’t understand how anyone could be doubtful that Casey Anthony committed this crime. Her story about her dad being involved had SO much wrong with it… it’s typical of a Casey Anthony lie. And if she was lying about that… there’s only one other conclusion that can be reached. Ugh, I could go on and on and I think I’ve gone on and on enough.
I believe Melissa is a sociopath… I believe Casy Anthony is a psychopath. And no, I’m not making a diagnosis on either… it’s simply my opinion as a thinking human being.

The alcohol thing surprises me as well, as a parent of a child going to a party with booze you would be a little concerned.
I also seen a couple of other of these photos the agreement must have been getting quite loud as joe was coming between mel & teresa and kim was in her bloody glee.

As long as everyone drinks responsibly, I don’t have a problem with it. In that way it can actually teach kids that there’s a way to drink alcohol responsibly and reasonably and that’s the ONLY way it’s okay. Just make sure you don’t invite a friend like Taylor Armstrong.
Bravo paid for this party – limos w/drivers provided. Yeah, no alcohol at a “kids” party to me is a no-brainer. But this really wasn’t a “party for Gia”. This was a social event, planned by Bravo, using Gia’s birthday as an excuse, to bring the adults together and get the drama going between Melissa and Teresa. Of course there was alcohol there to loosen everyone up- and Bravo provided it!!

Kids had a room to party, dance and have fun. Adults had a separate room that was quiet away from the kids. As long as the adults just enjoyed a glass or two and didn’t get drunk it should not have been a problem.

I found this interesting… I went to MeHo’s fb page (ashamed of myself lol), she posted her news about the workout video and there are more negative comments than positive ones. I find it interesting because usually the “love fest” comments are there with only a few negative ones.
Same thing is going on over at RT – as someone else said, in the past RT has been very pro-Melissa – but some of the articles lately have been critical as well as there are more than usual negative comments towards her.
Perhaps people are wising up with the oversaturation Melissa has been putting out there – because that is what is going on – her publicist is working overtime to keep her name out there.
Even if I liked Melissa, I would feel the same way! While everyone knows how I feel about Melissa, to be fair I don’t think that is spanx – I think it is the lining of the pants. Some leather or pleather pants have half linings and I think that is what the line is.
It looks to me like spanx. IMHO, the tightness above the knee screams undergarment not lining. I was a buyer for a retail store and even in leathers with half linings, it goes below the knee to prevent exactly that. I have leather pants but the silk lining is never that tight.
That’s true whodat! – the lining usually does go below the knee especially for leather pants because they bag at the knee after wearing them for awhile!

In Melissa's last tweet – she is being sarcastic about the "no cameras".
Gia's party was clearly given by Bravo with the intent of filming and Melissa was obligated to go – otherwise, she would never have gone. I saw other pictures that are floating around the internet of Kim talking into Melissa's ear BEFORE she goes over to Teresa's table. And look at Kim's face in the above picture. It's the same one she had on when Angelo approached Teresa at the salon the day of the PFS 2011.
Why is Melissa even acknowledging Kim D let alone allowing to whisper things in her ear and then obviously reacting to what she said in a negative way towards Teresa?? Kim D. admitted to being in on the "setup" of Melissa – wouldn't you think that after that, Melissa wouldn't give her the time of day let alone "listen" to what she had to say?
One more thing – why is that BOTH Melissa and Jacs can "forgive" Kim but not Teresa? I think we ALL know the answer to that one!!!

After Melissa tweeted she wasn’t invited… someone should have tweeted back… or did you just not answer the phone when Teresa tried to invite you. Remember Teresa tweeted to Antonia Happy B-day and Melissa tweeted back it would have been nice if you called. Teresa said she did call but they didn’t answer the phone. I agree dch60 – it is nerve racking and extremely frustrating at times – when RHONJ was on, I would find myself talking to the TV, I would be so frustrated! And my husband would come in the room and ask me why I was yelling at him! After awhile, he figured it out and then would poke fun at me – all in good fun though! ARGGHHHH!!!!

I agree to an extent. I mean this is Teresa’s job. Is she supposed to let them run her off? She can’t control the editing and she’s not good at explaining herself or at knowing the right thing to say when Melissa starts dishing out the crap to her. I’m like that in a way… I hate conflict so much that I can get frazzled. Then AFTERWARDS I think of all the things I SHOULD have said. I also have lyme disease and other conditions and have a problem with word recall especially in an uncomfortable situation. Then I get stressed about that and it just compounds the problem. That’s why I hate it when people call Teresa stupid. No one knows what someone may be dealing with to make them seem “stupid” if they want to call it that. Would they make fun of someone in a wheelchair? (Maybe I shouldn’t ask that… maybe they would) Anyway a disability is a disability and it’s not something someone has control over. Then there’s women who just act stupid because they think it’s “cute” or whatever… that’s another topic altogether.

It comes from a combination of things – being abused when I was growing up & a car accident I had when I was 20 years old. I broke my neck – although it’s stable – injured my back severely &, since my head hit every window in my car, I now have a problem with memory loss…it didn’t help that my head was used as a punching bag by one of my abusers, either. So, I’d just as soon not get into it with anyone because I, like Teresa, am thought of as just stupid. I’m so sorry about your illnesses, they are certainly no joke! And you are so right! Just because you can’t physically SEE a person’s disability surely doesn’t mean it’s not there. Many prayers for you. : )
See, I got sidetracked and forgot to finish what I was saying… it’s not like Teresa is “allowing” the producers to do this to her. In the first two seasons she didn’t get a bad edit… it wasn’t until Melissa came along. Even season three… it wasn’t totally Teresa bashing. So because of one season she should quit her job? And give them all the satisfaction? Hell no! Also, I’m sure Teresa wants nothing more than to get vindication… just like what we want for her. We keep tuning it to see the tables turn… I’m sure Teresa hopes for that too. She doesn’t want to go out on a sour note.
I read of the report of the birthday party on another site. The best part of the story was that Lookers acting all happy at the beginning of the party but after her discussion with Teresa she was not her usual self and looked mad. So hope that Teresa was able to land a verbal take down on Ms Lookers.
I hope so too and I hope that Theresa was able to handle herself and come out of it with her head held high in full view and hearing of all the other ladies so that there can’t be any suggestion of Melissa being able to say something was said when it wasn’t

You’re right mz, the photos look like other photos from season 4:
1. The argument in the parking lot early in season 4 over rumors about Melissa leaving Joe for a richer man (during the solstice party, or whatever it was, where everyone was wearing white),
2. The season 4 PFS finale when Bravo made Teresa approach Melissa in the bathroom about the bald guy saying Melissa used to dance for him, and
3. The season 4 reunion special where everyone was going after Teresa and she fought back.
Yes she did fight back the S4 reunion but then Miss Andy’s crew went on and on and on as to why she needed help and should leave the show. Does he really think we are that stupid and don’t get what he was trying to do with that? I wish Miss Andy would go away or quit having his obvious favorites. It’s a downer to the viewers as I expect an objective host.
Let’s not lose hope completely. Like I said above… Melissa wearing what she wore when she was supposed to wear something white makes MELISSA look bad. Maybe she’ll be the one not smelling like a rose in this fight. Hey I can dream! It may come true!

Season 5 is certainly going to be interesting. I still can’t stand Meho and her scumbag husband. As for Kim D she is a sneaky woman. Anything for a bit of air time. I’m hoping Teresa is smart this season and doesnt give Bravo any ammo to give her a bad edit. I’m hoping that after what happened in Season 4 that Teresa wouldnt want to be part of anything to do with any of Meho shenangians eg; why would she take that phone call orchestrated by Penny & Kim D?? I’m wondering if anyone else saw this on Twitter, but I guess MeGo didn’t like what AllAboutTRH wrote about her and called the site a joke. However, she later called and tried to convince AATRH to change her (i’m assuming her, just started following the site) opinion about MeGo. MeGo must really be feeling threatened or this is just a tactic considering that she is pretty much in bed with some magazine writers for positive press. I would say ‘in bed’ loosely, but I guess you never know. Fame, has MeGo ever tried contacting you to change your opinion?

I love that this all confirms that she and then presumably all of them are well aware of all of the blog sites and read them so they are fully aware, they MUST be, of how despised she is on some of them and that her secrets are out there. I love it! How mad of her to pick a fight with a blog that is pro her.
Deluded as usual that they will never turn on her, that she is somehow, untouchable.
How many times has Teresa said that she would never insult or say anything negative about the viewers of the show whether they hated her or were her fans – basically, “don’t bite the hand that feeds you.” Teresa never addresses negativity about her and always remains positive. It is one of the reasons so many people are in her corner. People don’t like being insulted and she is well aware of it. Another lesson Melissa refuses to learn from her SIL.
It reminds me of Kathy’s tweet calling Teresa’s fans “the army of idiots”. That was pretty much the kiss of death for her and the beginnig of her downfall. You don’t insult viewers and should never insult bloggers because they really do have an influence over viewers/readers as well.
I think you are right – Melissa is beginning to feel she is untouchable – above it all – and too comfortable – really dumb and is consistent with a narcissistic personality. She had better watch out – if you bite the hand – the hand will come back that much harder and knock you right off that pedestal.

Gag me! WWHL is on (I rarely watch this show but it came up after I turned off my DVR). Andy has a guest on… don’t know who she is but Caroline Manzo called in with a disguised voice and she had to guess who it was. She guessed Caroline right away and then went on and on about how much she LOVED her and wished she was her mother (nice, hope her mother wasn’t watching). What is with these people? Is Andy paying them all off? I swear I don’t get it.

All words are open to interpretation so by RT saying her PR company has a relationship with RT would it be in the form of a tear book i.e. the PR keep a collection of the stories OR is it that the PR company would approach RT with information? I would guess (I’m not in PR) that it is the later SO… long story short, when have you ever read a post on RT that is without some form of insider? Yes, they mention her endorsements but never just on their own as far as I’m aware. Most Missy posts are accompanied by a Teresa slight. Is the jig up OR am I over thinking it?

Yes I did and RT said she’s never asked for positive spin so maybe I am over thinking it – but it still suggests some form of communication don’t cha think? Looking at twitter, there’s alot of reality tv personalities who strike up relationships with bloggers – one I read recently (won’t say who) were trying to meet up for drinks. We’re not talking bonafide journalism here. I understand it’s impossible to avoid relationships but it is easy to cross the line for a scoop in this competitive market.

OK so remember some quote along the way to do with the workout video being an attempt to one up Teresa because Missy’s trying to beat her to the punch – that it’s got alot to do with competition as Teresa was thinking about releasing a DVD with a cookbook WELL, would it make it interesting for Melissa to announce she is writing the book on marriage right before Teresa is due to appear at a wedding expo: according to Radar online “Teresa is speaking and she’s going to talk about how to have a happy marriage, how to be a good wife,” at the Brides of LI Expo this week. If the show is in production, I wonder if this event will be covered. I have no idea how far in advance Teresa is booked, this is the only thing in her schedule on her website BUT I doubt it would be a week before. I also understand you don’t get a book deal overnight either but is it all a random coincidence? Surely these are the types of events Missy should be doing as PR and wouldn’t Bravo be aware of their availability for shooting – there is such thing as a shooting schedule (this I know because I’m in the game).
