Melissa Gorga Brings Antonia to Gia Giudice’s Birthday Party
Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga admitted that they had only seen and spoken to each other once (Melissa’s brief appearance at Gia’s and Milania’s joint birthday party held last year on January 28, 2012 at Space Odyssey) since the Posche Fashion Show for the season 4 finale was taped four months earlier on September 27, 2011. The second time they saw and spoke to each other was a year later on September 7, 2012, at the taping of the season 4 reunion special where Melissa told Teresa: “You’re done with me, and you’re done with my kids.”

Melissa brought her daughter Antonia to join the festivities this year at Gia’s birthday party on January 11, 2013 (again held at Space Odyssey). The event was taped for RHONJ season 5 so it should not come as a surprise that Melissa attended Gia’s party but not her goddaughter Gabriella Giudice’s party held on October 4, 2012.
Fame-Whorgas reader Brittany tweeted Melissa, telling her that she didn’t go to Gabriella’s party because there were no cameras there — Melissa tweeted her back saying she wasn’t invited (see tweets below).
When asked by AllAboutTRH on October 10, 2012 if Melissa wished her goddaughter Gabriella a ‘Happy Birthday’, Teresa said:
“No she did not. It was Audriana’s birthday last month and Melissa did call and leave a voicemail wishing her a Happy Birthday, but she did not call Gabriella wishing her a Happy Birthday, which I found odd considering Audriana is really young and won’t understand, but Gabriella knows Melissa is her godmother and is older and does understand. Gabriella actually asked me if her godmother called to wish her a Happy Birthday and I just told Gabriella that Melissa probably did but that I missed the phone call just so Gabriella wouldn’t feel bad, because, like I said, she does understand Melissa is her godmother and she’s at that age where if she knew Melissa didn’t call, it would hurt her, especially since Melissa has called to wish all the others a Happy Birthday.”

Last year, in January 2012, Melissa so desperately wanted to be cast on DWTS that she and Joe attended Makim Chmerkovskiy’s birthday party instead of Gia’s and Milania’s joint birthday party at Space Odyssey. Later in the day, Melissa showed up for a brief appearance at the girls’ party, without Uncle Joe, and then a few days later spewed a bunch of lies to the online tabloids, saying that Teresa was exploiting Gia to put her in the spotlight. Then, almost a year later, during the season 4 reunion in September 2012, Melissa and Jacqueline Laurita conspired to perpetuate a big lie that Teresa physically assaulted Melissa during the party.

RumorFix reported on the accusations made by Melissa during reunion 4 taping that Teresa “roughed her up” at the birthday party last year, in January 2012:
On The Wendy Williams Show, Melissa Gorga said that her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice “roughed her up,” but an eyewitness tells RumorFix exclusively that’s not true!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star claims the incident happened at Gia’s birthday party last year. But Elvira Grau, who is a New Jersey party planner, tells RumorFix correspondent Real Mr. Housewife,
“Teresa never laid a hand on Melissa.”
Elvira, who reportedly turned down a role on RHONJ, adds,
“I promise you that if — in fact — there was an altercation, with so many people present, this would have surfaced sooner than now.”
Elvira explains,
“Teresa was annoyed at Melissa trying to give Teresa’s kids Christmas presents to her during the birthday party, when Melissa really should have given them [to the kids] herself in person at the house and not at Gia’s birthday party at Space Odysssey USA many months later. Teresa asked Melissa politely to please drop off the gifts at the house, so the kids could see their aunt and cousins.
“To Teresa, it’s not physical presents but the thought to the kids. Teresa wanted Melissa’s attention to be to the kids and spending time, not the actual presents. Teresa even said ‘My kids don’t need any more presents, they need their cousins’ which I thought was beautiful,” Elvira told us.
“The truth is that Melissa is trying to paint Teresa as this horrible villain that twists wrists and that’s simply not the truth. Teresa is hurting right now because of all this family drama. It’s killing her parents! She didn’t want to be on the show with her family because she always knew Melissa would stoop this low. It’s so sad. Her nightmares came true. Melissa’s insecurity gets the best of her, unfortunately,” she said defending Teresa.
Grau also added,
“I want America to know that Teresa is the most loving and fun person who loves her husband, kids, parents, and friends. We spent four days over Labor Day weekend together and I wish America saw the true Teresa — in the kitchen with her parents cooking the most delicious Italian food, serving, and cleaning. They are a real old school Italian beautiful family.”
Grau owns Space Odyssey USA in Englewood, NJ, which hosts both children and adult birthday parties, as well as other private events.
RumorFix has reached out to Melissa’s reps for comment.
The Huffington Post reported on Teresa’s response to the “roughing up” accusations from September 2012:
Teresa Giudice is disputing her sister-in-law’s accusation that Giudice attacked her, saying it was the other way around.
“I usually don’t comment on stories about me, but I cannot ignore Melissa Marco’s vicious lie that I assaulted her at my own children’s birthday party while she was holding my baby nephew,” says Giudice. “It is completely untrue in every way. To make such a horrible accusation that involves our children is beyond despicable and speaks to her true character.”
Melissa recently did a round of interviews, including an Us Weekly cover and an appearance on Wendy Williams’ show, where she had some tough criticism for Giudice. However, Giudice and her friends refuse to remain silent over accusations that she “roughed up” anyone.
“This supposedly happened at Gia and Milania’s very big, very public joint birthday party in January,” a friend of Giudice tells me. “The party was at Space Odyssey, owned by Elvira Grau, who was with Teresa the entire time. Elvira has publicly tweeted that it’s untrue. It was a very public party with a hired photographer there. No one saw them do anything but talk. They didn’t even hug because Melissa was holding her baby, so Teresa just kissed the baby. If anything had happened, why didn’t Melissa immediately go to the press about it then? She puts every other little complaint on Twitter. Nothing.”
In what is expected to be the most dramatic “Real Housewives” reunion of all time, viewers will get to see for themselves how bad things have gotten between these two family members.
“Melissa lost it at the reunion and put her hands on Teresa,” one Bravo insider tells me. “Teresa started yelling that she was going to ‘sue’ Melissa, but has not taken any legal action yet.”

We all know that Melissa can’t dance, but she desperately has been trying to be cast on DWTS since January 2012, or probably earlier since she took ballroom dancing classes with Antonio before she was officially cast on RHONJ. In Bravo’s lost footage of Melissa and Antonia taking ballroom dancing lessons in season 3, Melissa said:
“I can’t lie. Antonia is definitely a little mini me. She loves the spotlight. She’s absolutely gorgeous. And she’s got moves, this little girl. You know, she gets it from her mama.”

It wasn’t a dig for turning it down, it was a joke pretty much saying don’t admit anyone contacted you about that train wreck! Greg and Ashlee get into it all the time. Ashlee gets into it with everybody. She’s her mothers daughter and her grandmothers granddaughter. She can’t help herself. This is how she was raised. Another example of Melissa competing with Teresa and her family. Doesn’t little Gia now do a lot of dancing and Teresa posted videos on youtube last year? She also posted Gia competing in dancing stuff on Twitter. And also that episode where Melissa and Gia performed at the same event. It was clear Gia was a better dancer than Melissa and Bravo editing showed that! Gia is just a little girl trying out new things. She didn’t take to acting and found her joy in dance. Now Melissa wants to take ownership of dance? Competing with a little girl finding her passion in life is tragic.
There may be a flavor of that going on – but mainly it reeks of desperation. (Like most things Melissa does – all the way back to her audition for this show Mafia-style/bring Teresa down ploy.) Speaking of auditions – wouldn’t there be one for DWTS? I doubt she’d make it past that phase from what I’ve seen of her dance ability. (Seriously)

Thanks Chris. I have a still of that set… the footage was shot in early October when Melissa was pretending to be in Florida. She knew the blogosphere was talking about her Florida shoplifting charges from 1997, and she was trying to mock us all for following the story. She knew the charges were going to be dropped because so much time had passed and the store (which has been acquired by Macy’s) wasn’t willing or couldn’t move forward on the charges.

The trust issues between Greg and Melissa-as much as Greggy is a fame whore-he’s a smart guy. Greg and his ilk (read:gay) is what keeps Melissa on the 5th tier iTunes Charts. He gets what they’re doing. Her and joe. It took a while bit the Manzos, as weird and dysfunctional as they may be, they aren’t dumb. Their dislike for Teresa still exists, and those wounds run deep, but Caroline knows when she’s been played. In fact, they really like the wakiles more. They see what’s going on, but on many levels they relate to each other better. There’s a reason why m and J hung out in Hoboken with the kids and Kathy baked pies for the brownstone. Which BTW seriously pissed off their employees. It’ll come full circle eventually, but probably not on camera.
Stoopid HWs however, yes, she’s getting sued. But the Manzos have no role in that at all. Believe me, as much as these women don’t like the negative stuff that’s out there, they’ve pretty much after 5 years dismissed the blog stuff. SH is getting sued because she has a nasty habit of watermarking photos that she gets on the Internet. She has this insane idea that she is in the know, and makes a difference. She doesn’t. I don’t know of you are aware of how deep the blog and twitter wars go and how far back, but she’s a lady who is so paranoid and has a super high opinion of herself. When her enemy lynn Hudson died (the HWs expert who got pretty much everything wrong) SH thought she’s take the reins. This making her paranoia deeper. Anyway, she didn’t credit the news site for the photos and she got tipped off. Not by the Manzos, but by other bloggers and readers that she “proofed” because she’s nuts! The cookbook are the problem. That was Caroline’s thing. She got beat to the punch and she’s still bitter!

That’s right. The comments just made her illogically angry. The comments weren’t even in the first book! But when it did well-and she got to release a second one, she was beyond bitter. she was hoping for a book-same concept family recipes, some brownstone stuff. To go along with the sauce-but got beat to the punch. There was an issue with a makeup line that Teresa was supposed to do for CVS, but that fell apart. Jac is still pissed about it. The Milania hair care is another one….Jac is the cosmetologist, she wanted the beauty stuff. Again, beat to the punch.
SA — sounds logical, plausible but I don’t buy it. Back in the day there was room for 2 cookbooks — geez there are tons out there. Who cares who made it 1st? Again, it may have been something that, since she was already pissed at Teresa, Caroline used her as a scapegoat as to who was “to blame” in Punta Cana. But her kids are adults and no one can force them to do anything they don’t want to do.

The reason all these wives release the same type of stuff is because They are offered all the same stuff. Plus, most junk they do is easy and quick to market and not made by them anyway. Think Gretchen from OC. Caroline will forever be bitter that Teresa beat her to the cookbook party. And succeeded with it. She moved onto advice, but acted like such a fool last year that she hurt herself. She knows it. Caroline doesn’t like when people she thinks are beneath her do well. Greg knows that Melissa attachéd herself to the token gay guy to benefit herself. The gay guys love the HWs and they gravitate towards the ladies who are gay friendly and christened fabulous by one of their own. Greg was wise enough to hitch his train to Melissa early, he unhitched from his former pal Teresa when he sensed things were going in another direction. Joes comments didn’t help either-but they are fully aware that he doesn’t mean them. Trust me, they laugh behind their backs, especially with joe gorgas antics. He’s kind of like a trained monkey ready to drop his pants at any second. Greg was hoping for more of a gusband role, but it never happened. He’s gone in a few weeks anyway and will fade into the sunset….so Melissa will live on to a new guy, like George or the media queen. They used each other and they know it. But they do like each other….

Who knows? They are still filming. I can’t emphasize enough that there is no “plan” heading into a season. Obviously there a things that are focused on and of course if something interesting pops up like a juicy rumor (or a book), it gets looked at, but what the producers really want is real organic reactions. all pulled together in a narrative. There’s a reason it takes months to edit a show!
Lets talk about strippergate. Remember season one and the infamous book? Well obviously that book was known to people within the show…lots of theories as to how they found out, but no one knows the truth. Clearly, the final dinner and Danielle bringing out the book was set up. Danielle was pretty much told put it outthere and sort it out. What was NOT set up was the reactions to the book. Like the table flip. Like Jac yelling at Dina. Like Caroline’s speech. That whole fiasco was like little pieces of gold and it was 100% real. Just like S2 fashion show. Teresa was asked to talk to Danielle. They had no idea it would end up in a chase, a hairpull, police. Again, gold. And real.
The edit will go based on what the woman give them. Well find that out in the fall. However, this is a transition year. Exactly how that turns out will depend on ratings.
Really appreciate the back story you are providing Secret Admirer! Especially about the jealousy over cook books/beauty products (since the extreme hatred towards Teresa didn’t make sense.) And good to hear how a basic premise is set up, but the reactions are all their own (table flip/hair pulling etc.)
thank you from me too, I agree that the extreme hatred to Teresa seemed to come from nowhere and be out of all proportion to whatever they were blaming her for, eg a couple of silly comments in her cookbook. It makes perfect sense that at least some of their anger is indeed bitterness and resentment at her getting business deals that caroline and Jaq wanted and felt entitled to.
But I have to ask, and I’m sorry if it has been covered elsewhere but I never worked out exactly what happened in Puta Cana.
Long story short… they all went to a bar… Teresa opened a bottle of champagne and it sprayed on some lady. The men that were with the lady started a fight about it and it turned into a brawl. Chris and Albie were among those whose passports were taken until the police could sort things out. Apparently the other men were pretty beat up. Bravo made some sort of settlement with them just to make it go away. When they got back to the states, these men decided that the settlement wasn’t enough and are suing Bravo and the whole lot of them that were involved. IMO that will end in a settlement by Bravo too.

I agree with you. I remember the episode when Melissa and Joe went to Albie and Chris’s apartment. She told Greg the she friended him on Facebook, something along that line.
Getting somewhat off topic here, but I totally agree about SH. I always knew there was something mentally wrong with that woman. Bergen.com was hired by the Manzo’s to take pictures of #RhoNJ season 4 premiere parties… 3 photos used by stoopid that where taken by Bergen.com. at 3 different #rhoNJ premiere parties; Stoopid used them and did not pay and refused to take photo’s down from her blog.
Lawsuit was originally filed in NY, however, it was moved this week to PA as that is where Stoopid lives. Plaintiff wants a jury trial to spank Stoopid.

Chris, what happens to Marjorie Adams and her site if she’s found guilty? How much would she have to pay for this? And, even if she didn’t take those shots down at first, why are they doing this to her now?
I am wondering because in the bigger picture of things, it doesn’t seem as though she’s continuing to do that. Wasn’t it just that once? Maybe there’s more of an axe to grind when it comes to Adams and SH?
I do not know what “Stoopid” defense will be or how she will handle said lawsuit.
Lawsuit is civil. Consequence is monetary award. However, parties involved in a lawsuit can make a settlement agreement; such as delete all photo’s and agree never to post another photo for 5 years and if you fail to live up to the binding agreement a fine will be imposed of $25 a day…. bla bla. OR even a written / posted apology….
The parties involved attend a settlement conference to find a workable solution. If they fail a trial date may come next…..

Whoever took the photo OWNS the photo (unless it was work for hire and contract evidences such). That means they have rights over how the photo can be used and can reasonably expect payment for use of same.

Teresa even said something to that effect… that Melissa won’t be around her family until the cameras start rolling again… or that Melissa wasn’t there because they weren’t filming… something like that. I still feel that this is still some sort of set up against Teresa! No matter what is said or done, Andy dislikes Teresa, he takes every and any opportunity he can to take jabs at her or her circumstances! I smell something fishy. I’ll wait to watch what the producers set up, but obviously first on the agenda is to try to get the family on speaking terms. Wrong again…it’s a theme here….Bergen.com takes pictures of tons of events in north jersey and posts them in their site as celebrity news. It’s their job.
The lawsuit was already public yesterday MORNING on another site. This has been going on for months. SH used the photos and would not credit the owners if the original photos. If they are posted publicly they can be copied and reused. In fact it’s expected. However you must CREDIT not pay, the original owner. SH refused to credit or remove. So they sued her.
The Manzos have no reason to seek revenge against SH since she is not the only blogger out there posting negative things. By that logic, she can sue YOU for trying to accuse then of doing so. It’s not going to shut the site down…it prevent her from staring a new one. Or stopping people from reading.
The FACT is that had SH removed the photos or given proper credit there would be no lawsuit. So again-what benefit to the Manzos? None. U know you LIVE to fund conspiracists hidden under every rock, but as always , there is none.
The only relation to the Manzos in this case is that the pictures were from their party.

Th e only reason I posted to Chris in the first place is because she posted right under my post ^^^ saying that I had gone to Tam.Tat, to read up on this lawsuit. She posted right underneath my post saying see, SA. was trying to get people to go to that site, ‘ jump ship, etc.
That was so not the case, and really I did not think what I wrote was so terrible to Chris , for her to come back and accuse me of being S.A.

Fame’s blog is here so that we ALL can feel welcome voicing our opinions whether differing or not. BOTH SA and CHRIS STARK have interesting “information”, “sources”, and “opinions” to offer here and are entitled to be heard. It is then up to each of us to take away what WE want – not necessarily EVERYTHING and respond accordingly. That is why we are here – because we can’t be force fed.
I would hope it is recognized that each should be mature enough to realize they are entitled to state this “information” in a manner that is respectful to each other and to ALL of us here, without insults or accusations!

DD – Your comment about Fame – very true. For all the work put here, Fame has also taken that extra step, making sure we are all comfortable here – unlike other sites. Frankly, SH is funny at times and can be a good go-to for information BUT and that’s a big BUT -SH also insults her commenters at times and goes apesh@t when someone says something she doesn’t like – I don’t understand that. Her perogative I suppose – but I don’t feel a kinship with that sort of thing. Just my opinion though.

SA and CHRIS STARK – I would agree that, of course, people would rather “know” what’s right and wrong. But, for all intents and purposes, it is understood when all is said and done it’s one’s word against another’s. It then becomes up to the readers to make their OWN decisions and opinions based on EVERYTHING that is being brought to the table. So, therefore, I respectfully suggest perhaps the rhetoric on all sides could be toned down a bit, less condescending, and not so accusatory.

This woman is so desperate to keep the spot light on her. I don’t know the procedure for casting with DWTS but I am pretty sure that there is no sucking up involved. Most of these celebrities are people who had a good career in their prime and looking back to get their name on the spotlight. Does she know that these people actually have a name for doing something? I don’t watch the show and I am not sure who else has been cast. Besides most of the money goes to charity!

The camera does not love Melissa. She fades easily into the background unless she’s screaming, “I’m the victim!”. If Fame is holding someones comments back, I believe she must have a reason.

You and SA are trying to cause friction among the bloggers, and that is why your comments are being moderated. If you have anything else to contribute other than attacking bloggers, readers and commenters, then your comments are welcome.
This is why I LOVE this site. Fame keeps it real. Fame tried to email SA to let them know why they were being out in moderation. Bit she found a Bogus email. Fame is not about creating friction. She’s a good blogger who happens not to like Melissa (and I love that as well)

The evil witches are pretending to really try to be nice with Tre ( only because they know Tre fans won’t watch the mean girl dram) and Andy, the producers will manipulate Tre, give her a false sense of security and the evil bitches will say certain things to/with Tre. Editing will, and I promis you this, make poor Tre look like the bad guy, once again. At the end of this season, Tre will still be humiliated and the bitches will be the victims – again. Andy will never let the “REAL” shine through on the Manzos and he is investing $ and marketing Mego to much to let her fall. The season 5 reunion will be Tre’s last and Andy and these morons will make sure she leaves on a negative note. I am sure of this. They are going to edit to make Danielle, Penny, and Tre be the ugly villans. They are just manipulating Tre fans along with Tre.

I read the same story also. I believe it may have been true at the time. However, I think after hurricane Sandy everything changed. As someone else stated, Bravo did not think the new housewives would relate to the viewers as well as the prior ones when filming Sandy relief efforts.

Hey Jeannie – I had a feeling early on who SA might be – so I challenged credibility and had the reaction I expected (and had received by this poster before) so for me the game was over at that moment – unfortunately Chris S got trapped and Holy was used.
Agree completely – Holy was definitely used as a tool to create friction – SA/NotEd/BeCareful saw holy was asking questions, rung his/her hands with glee, and pounced to discredit not only Chris but Fame as well. Chris’ reaction was kneejerk which was a huge mistake on her part (so not nice!), played into SA’s game, and, holy got hurt very badly in the crossfire. Makes me really pissed about it actually. I like holy and will miss her comments.
I believe Chris Stark to be credible – she is under alot of pressure and is extremely ill – maybe I have a little more compassion for her than some others because after watching my mom react to medications and drugs, I can understand that sometimes it causes a person to not be who they usually are – sometimes, it is extremely hard to be around. It doesn’t excuse what she did – but I am empathetic towards what she is dealing with. Cancer is a bitch.

I agree with you about going along for the ride and that if it comes out Teresa is “reacting” the way Bravo wants her to, and allowing it to happen and continue, then I AM DONE and she will have lost me as a supporter. I cannot abide the exploitation of these children (including Melissa and Joey’s).
Double “ouch”, the children. It is still a mystery to me as to why Melissa and Joe decided to ruin their child’s christening. But if Bravo deliberately decided to ruin Gia’s birthday party, I am done. I think it would have taken alot, ALOT for Teresa to react to something said at Gia’s party. Just my thought.

What Teresa and Melissa were fighting about!
Before Melissa/Joey got on the show, they were at many of Teresa’s events but Bravo chose to leave them on the editing room floor. Now that M/J are “officially” on the show, every button Teresa has they push. Their lack of respect for the family, their desperation for fame and their immaturity is what they have shown the viewers. IMHO, there is no way back for them because of what they have done and continue to do to Teresa and the children.

That is how I feel. The final straw is Melissa saying that Teresa’s children are going to bully Antonia one day. How freaking insulting is that. Now, she is directly insulting Teresa’s children? I do not know how Teresa can put up with it. Every mental health professional on earth would say that you need to keep the negative, destructive and quite possibly mentally unbalanced people out of your life. I’ve worked in arenas in which they are common place – it explains why he’s so “up for it ” ALL the time and the change in his physique from one season to the next. Something (Teresa’s fathers health) also changed people—I have received no credit, I’m done, and happily moved in to watching Teresa on you tube with CA. Will never post in this or other housewife sites again, wanted a community, supported it, and just done with a favorite few that Fame or Roxy give credit to, and have been so very loyal. The drama is infused with theory and gossip, and I got sucked into believing it for awhile. Ciao!

Also, when I first saw this, I thought it was interesting how she even had Melissa’s song ON DISPLAY playing with the girls dancing to it. Teresa says “In this house we love Melissa Gorga!” You know, I would bet Melissa doesn’t own one of Teresa’s cookbooks and would NEVER help her promote them either. A very telling clue as to what type of person Teresa really is compared to her SIL.
