“Teresa is celebrating the New Year like she always does, with a big family party mainly made up of her husband’s family and her parents. Every year the Giudice family rents out a restaurant and their family and close friends attend,” our source shares. Indeed, Teresa posted many cute family photos on Twitter of her New Year’s.
Sadly all was not well as they welcomed the new year. “Once again, her parents are with her ringing in the new year just like they were with her Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There is no place they would rather be.”
The reason: “They cannot even stand to be near Melissa. Of course they love their son and their grandkids but, there is no love for Melissa.”
Our source reveals that Teresa’s parents continue to see Melissa as the sole reason their family is fractured and to them that is unforgivable. I guess they didn’t inherit the famewhore gene… “They blame her for destroying the family,” our source explains. “It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks or who is right or wrong in their eyes, Melissa is to blame. It breaks their heart.”

It is important to note that Teresa wasn’t with any of her Bravo-contracted friends on New Year’s Eve like she was on Christmas Day (Jennifer Dalton was at her home). Nor were any of the other cast mates together celebrating the event. The Lauritas and Manzos celebrated it together, of course, the Gorgas were with Melissa’s sisters, and the Wakiles were with their children at what looks like a modest gathering. It is highly unlikely that Bravo cameras were at each event.

Melissa tweeted one picture of the family and has been tweeting pictures of herself and Joe, fans collages of her many pictures, herself wearing her “wifey” tshirt and so on. She also tweeted to Andy wishing him a Happy New Year (kissing up much?).
It makes for an interesting contrast of who has what priorites.

Teresa posted a picture tonight of all the Guidice grand kids with Juicy’s mom for her birthday. There is one woman on RHONJ that is all about family but it sure isn’t Lookers. Teresa has shown that family comes first for her even to the point that she doesn’t talk bad about her brother.
That picture of Juicy’s mom and the 13 (if I counted right) grandkids was precious. Just sad that Meho and Joey Marcos have chosen to deprive their children of their cousins, sad.
You know what is really sad – those Gorga little ones are missing out on such a treat playing with ALL those kids on Teresa’s (Joey’s) side of the family. I think they are the only young ones on Melissa’s side. Could you imagine the fun Antonia and the boys would have!! I absolutely LOVE the house they bought; they down-sized. IMO when houses are so big there’s never any interaction with each other, it’s almost as though everybody has their own “wing” in the house. They seem like a close family so I can totally understand why they’d do that- the house really is beautiful & the community looks well established…seems great for raising children. The house is said to have 6,500 sq. ft & they bought the Bel Air home for around $3 million. (It’s a buyer’s market right now!) Supposedly it has 7 bedrooms, 7 1/2 bathrooms, a sports court, theater, billiards room & a pool. All of us who watch RHOBH have seen what a perfect party house it is!
