It appears that Penny Drossos Karagiorgis signed a contract (unpaid “person of interest”?) with Bravo on December 26, 2012. A source tells Fame-Whorgas that Penny has the real scoop on Melissa’s checkered past — she is a former friend of Melissa and knows all the key people and has the contacts, and she cares about Teresa and truly will be on her side… and she will be Melissa’s nemesis for sure.
According to TVFishbowl’s source, in one scene “a couple of cast members are on the phone with someone from the Gorga’s past. The man is on speaker phone and is singing like a ‘bird’.”

Penny can be found on Twitter @PDKHair. She owns La Chateau Allure Salon in New Jersey and a lot of people think she should be a new cast member of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She is a friend of Teresa’s, which should be reason enough to add her because it would be nice to see Teresa have a friend in the sea of bitter hags we are now watching.
Penny worked for many years as special education teacher, specializing in kids with autism. She loved her work but found that when she had her own children, she lost some of patience. At that point she decided to leave teaching and go into hairdressing. Just because she changed careers, she was unable to walk away from the students she loved so much.
Every Tuesday is Special Needs Day at Penny’s salon. She welcomes children and adults to the salon to get their hair done. They can enjoy the pampering and hang out in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Some of the “kids” who come are the same students Penny taught years ago. They are now young adults and Penny loves them now as she did then, completely.
Penny has been married to Johnny for 12 years.

Remember, only a very small percentage of viewers follow the blogs, and Bravo knows this — this is why they can get away with distorting the truth and creating fake storylines.
The photos below are of Penny Drossos and John Karagiorgis (and Pete Giudice) from season 4. All shots of Penny in season 4 were left on the cutting room floor (the photos below, except for the one with Penny’s back in the shot, are from websites other than Bravo and were not in season 4 footage that aired on Bravo) even though she was the one who brought Bravo the season 4 finale at the Posche Fashion Show (according to a source, Penny and John are friends with Melissa’s former friends).
Melissa’s nemesis Penny Drossos (@PDKhair) held back on the dirt she has on Melissa’s checkered past so that she could get a contract with Bravo and air it all out on the show — this was the only way it could be blasted to all six million viewers (depending on the source — other sources report that figure to be 3.5 million).
Melissa and her sisters have been attacking Penny and her business on Twitter over the past two seasons. Recently, Melissa took a dig at Penny (without naming her) in her final blog for season 4 and her sister Kim Pirrella did as well:

In December 2003, the Fred Caruso that Penny referred to in the tweet above was named as a defendant in a law suit for third degree aggravated assault, causing “significant bodily injury under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life in a reckless manner” at a club called Club XS in Seaside Heights, NJ. And in October 2006, Fred Caruso from Clifton New Jersey was sentenced for conspiracy to distribute Ecstasy, retaliate against a witness and commit kidnapping:
“According to testimony presented at trial, on February 24, 2002, Van Cleve Ashley, age 38, of New Jersey, was sentenced to 34 years on February 8, 2007 for conspiring with Fred Caruso and Ramaine York to shoot to death Thomas D. Dixon, Jr. to prevent Dixon from appearing as a witness in the federal case of U.S. v. Fred Caruso and to retaliate against Dixon for providing law enforcement officers with information about Caruso’s criminal activities. A source told Fame-Whorgas that:

In October 2012, a source told Fame-Whorgas that during the 4-5 years that Melissa Gorga dated Love’s friend Brian, she “lived” out of Love’s closet, “borrowing” her clothes because she liked nice things but couldn’t afford them (Love was Brian’s friend, and Melissa met Love through him). The source also said that Melissa was a “leach to everyone, and she even took advantage of Love’s driver.”

As far as Kim D. hiring an investigator seeking out who is behind all of the Twitter talk, good luck to her. Chris Stark, from anything and everything we have all seen and heard, probably has nothing to hide, and for all intents and purposes has proven in the past to being a very resourceful investigator as well as having reliable sources of her own with information that has been proven to be correct.
Kim is only getting what she gave, which was absolutely nothing! If she had the goods she allegedly told Bravo, we would have seen some of it at the Reunion. We all were on to her when she came out and blindsided Teresa by not backing her up about Strippergate. She pretty much shot herself in the foot and has no one to blame but herself for losing out. I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. What goes around comes around and her threats are just that – empty threats.
Fame – you should probably highlight your warning to Teresa here like you did in your previous post – it is EXCELLENT ADVICE!!! Teresa needs to continue to tread very very carefully around ALL of these women and stay out of any drama that would implicate her in any way as being the instigator of any situation that would cast her in a negative light.

Your dead on, dead on. But the problem with Teresa is that she isn’t to bright (I know she went to college but), and wears her heart on her sleeve. She wants to be right and have everybody come up to her and say your right Teresa but they won’t. They will manipulate and obfuscate to make her look bad. But to be honest with you what made her even look worse was Kat the executive producer who was sleeping with Melissa and hated Teresa. Kat did everything to protect Melissa for years/seasons she was on the show. The only reason she got fired was the fact that her own people started talking upstairs (past Andy because Andy hates Teresa) to management that Kat was to involved in the show.
Now with Kat fired and gone and Penny finally signed (Kim D was a fool who knew information from Penny but not everything), no one will be there to protect Melissa. Also her buddy Caroline doesn’t even know her full history but when it comes you will see Caroline start to move away from her also. And what I’ve heard and read on this site and others is that Penny has alot more about Melissa that she hasn’t even talked about. The reason why Teresa fought so hard for her brother is the fact that rumors about Melissa is so bad she wants her brother out of it big time.

Penny better deliver. She has been promising for years that she knows all of Melissa’s dirty little secrets, so she better not let us down. Like Kim D did at the reunion. Like Kim D continues to do to this day.
Is it possible that Teresa wised up to Kim D. and wasn’t playing along with her? Maybe Kim D. didn’t want to spill everything on Melissa and Joey because they have dirt on her too? It does worry me that Bravo will use everything that happens between Penny and Teresa as trying to bring Melissa down.
We know that prior to the season taping, the housewives go over some kind of storyline for the season. I just can’t believe, at least with NJ, that they get heavy into it, for instance, telling Teresa that they are going to make her look bad… blah blah (the way we think it’s going to go). I don’t believe Teresa would do that to her family. I just don’t. Last year there is no way Teresa could have known everything that was going to happen. She looked confused half the time. For instance, when Caroline showed up at Jac’s to bring back the bathing suits, there is NO way Teresa knew about that. She looked completely shocked.
Many blogs talk about how scripted these shows are. I believe they are to an extent. Much of it has to happen organically or else why would these women chance hurting their brand… and let’s face it… most of them brand themselves and I believe they count on it heavily for their present and future money making ability. Also, these women aren’t actors. They may exaggerate things however. There’s no doubt that much of it is manipulated through editing. Even in their talking heads… they’re prodded and baited into saying nasty things.
Whatever… Happy New Years everyone! Hopefully 2013 will be a great year! At least we don’t have to hear any more about the world ending on 12/21/12.

I think blogs like FW alerted Teresa to Kim D’s true intentions, and she may have refused to go along with some of the things Kim D had planned. Penny will not betray her like Kim D did, based on my source. I believe Penny will have Teresa’s back.

Penny is probably the lowest of them all. If anyone has been following her she argues with herself, thinking people will think that the Marcos are threatening her. For instance she has tweeted “bitch I will not fuck you up I will cunt you up.” Not only that there is a lying bully on Twitter who has lied about a lot of things and tweets with the Queenz but if you confront this “lying” person, next thing you know Penny Will intervene and tell you to shut the fuck up. I guess we will see.
Penny Drossos is certainly NOT the lowest of the low. A former special education teacher and business owner, her kindness and business savvy is well known in NJ. I do not know her personally, but there are MANY who vouch for her. For Melissa Gorga, how many can vouch publicly for her (other than her disgusting sisters and mother, who twitter Hate constantly?)
I am team Teresa, Penny should perhaps get a better vocabulary, all I am saying is if I was accused of all the things that queenz has accused Penny and Teresa of, such as, having checks to Teresa filtered through Penny’s business, then you call out this “lying” Teresa fan for tweeting with the accuser and Penny putting in her opinion when actually it was someone calling out a liar nothing to do with Penny, someone sticking up for Teresa and then having being told to shut the fuck up by Penny. We are well aware Queenz is one of Melissa’s mouthpieces – very tight with her and her sister Lysa Simpson. FACT: Queenz comes after anyone who goes after Melissa with absolute disgusting vengeance, spewing pornographic language and threats. HaHa! Sackem! It’s not quite midnight yet – my hubby and I celebrate New Years – TOMORROW!!!! Very early on when we first got together, we both realized that neither one of us liked NYE – we were living in NYC and going out New Year’s Eve was sooo expensive -even way back then! So we decided to do our own thing on New Years Day instead! We went to Central Park and had brunch at the Pierre Hotel. So now, many years later, we always do something New Years Day. Tomorrow we will celebrate with my mom – such a blessing she is with me!!

I stayed up just long enough to wish my husband a Happy New Year at midnight then slept so well. Our little Sheila is a bit lazy – more of a squirmer than a kicker but when she gets busy, she’s VERY busy, like shark fins across my belly. It’s amazing!! It’s annoying when she starts and scary if she doesn’t. No one warned be that you worry for your child from the moment they are conceived … just that it you never stop worrying about them – the happiness and safety!

I would think a true friend would not hold out for a contract IMO it would be more believable to stick by Teresa for nothing, like this Greek chick said, Penny ain’t gonna do it for free, would I want a friend like that? I think Penny understands that the majority of Bravo’s viewers don’t read the blogs… so you have to get it on camera or, otherwise, it goes unnoticed. Melissa knows how to twist the truth by using her talking head interviews — they are what the viewers see so it becomes the truth no matter what. Penny has to hold back on revealing what she knows until the cameras are rolling. It doesn’t mean Bravo will air it, but it is the best chance she has of getting the truth to all the viewers.
Oh I understand now!!!!! I see your point. It could prove to be interesting because I agree with Fame, that going on air is the way to reach the majority and it would lead to vindication but I do feel like there has to be something bigger at play than defending a friend. At this point, RHONJ has become so convoluted and suspect to me that having faith that a person is appearing for a just reason sounds somewhat unrealistic! I certainly think Missy deserves to be exposed and taken down a peg or two, she is unscrupulous!!
I feel like when the cast is flipped across the entire franchise the shows become disingenuous, opportunists swoop. Faye Resnick, Melissa Gorga, Kathy Wakilie, Gretchen Rossi (whilst I don’t mind her there’s an element of showboating there), the new ladies on NY. The original line ups had a validity to them because of their connections.
I have been hoping though that the Greeks would speak, and as mentioned from what I’ve seen and heard of Penny she sounds like a straight shooter so I hope she proves me wrong with some of the above!
PS I’m sure I read a tweet somewhere from Pete Giudice saying they weren’t friends or I’m a dreaming that? It was around the time of the PFS airing. Does anyone else remember something similar?
He did say that Sackem. But I think he sad that to take the heat off Teresa, who was truly innocent in the setup at the PFS finale in S4. If Pete admitted he knew Johnny, if would make Teresa an accomplice in many eyes. So he denied any connection… I think they knew each other but weren’t good friends.

Fame, thought that you would like to know that allabouttrth says that Danielle will be coming back for 4 episodes for season 5 and that everyone will have to film with her if you like to our not. It also said that the source says that danielle has deleted all of the text and conversation she had with melissa. I personally do not believe that part of the story because what other reason does she have to come back.
I read that story iowagirl, and I believe Danielle deleted her evidence.
The reason I believe it is because Danielle tweeted Teresa and told her to contact Rebecca Toth (producer for reunion 2, taped in September 2010, the same month Melissa was signed) to tell her that she forwarded the e-mails to her. If Danielle still had them, she would have forwarded them to Teresa herself. Danielle must not have understood how valuable they would be — Toth left Bravo after the season 2 reunion, so I doubt she saved the e-mails from Danielle.
So Danielle will flounder when trying to prove what Melissa said, because Melissa has Bravo’s backing.
Danielle and Teresa need to apologize to each other and unite against Bravo and Melissa. I hope Danielle realizes Bravo is using her, and I hope she will unite with Teresa and overcome Bravo’s attempts to get her to lose control on camera.
Danielle and Teresa are emotional cast members, and that’s what Bravo and the others are banking on. Teresa and Danielle need to get together off camera and conspire to take Melissa down — she has it coming to her. They need to outsmart and outwit and outplay Bravo.

Pete Guidice made it very clear that Johnny the greek and his wife were not in fact friends with the Guidice’s, in fact at the fashion show which was heavily edited to have the outcome that Bravo wanted which was to make Teresa look guilty, he said that was the first time Teresa met them. I think Penny is just a fan of justice and cannot bear to see this sweet innocent Melissa on screen when she knows otherwise.
Pete came out & said that because he was lied to by someone he thinks he can trust but turned out that same person was heavily involved in gossip on twitter and creating drama. Pete was angry and said things because he thought he was protecting Teresa. In the end it came out that Teresa met Johnny & Penny well before the PFS. In fact, Johnny set up the PFS pre-party at his friends club a week prior. In fact, Johnny, Penny, Teresa, & Kim were sitting on stage, same table, front & center with other friends around them. They were drinking, dancing, & taking pics together all night. That’s not all, if they weren’t friends why did they all go to Disney show together with their families? Exactly.
Now these haters on twitter like Queen Ho Dick, Carrie No Dick, & Honnie Dry Dick just wanna cause shit against Johnny & Penny by making up lies or making fun of their businesses but they can’t because Johnny & Penny always prove them wrong with proof. Thank you so much for your reply to Greek Chick. My source is someone who is close to Johnny and Penny’s family. I heard they did not not pay rent and that is why they lost the salon. The salon did not get much exposure on the show and they cut Penny out. Let Greek Chcik provide proof that Penny and Johnny brought the landlord to Court for an illegal lockout. If its true why would they not fight it in couirt? If they did and won why is she not still operating the salon.

I had already heard that. I don’t recall from where but I heard that Penny has an unpaid contract with Bravo to be a “friend of the housewives.”
Penny had a contract for her part in the season 4 finale but wasn’t paid. She could very well have a contract for her part in season 5 and is not getting paid. I don’t know if she is being paid or not.
I just updated the article, making a notation in parenthesis with a question mark as to whether she is paid or not.
You know that is another thing I can’t stand/understand about Bravo. You have contracts with “friends of housewives” they appear on camera and are to abide by Mandy’s rules, for free all because it’s so much fun. I get that if they click they can a full contract, but no way would I work for free. Just saying.

I just know the Salon is closed because they did not pay the landlord his rent and the fact that Johnny does not own Rutts, As a landlord, you can’t just lock a tenant from his place of business without permisiion from the court. If the owner did something illegal prove it before you call me a skank or a jealous cousin or a Gorga., which I am not. If your statements are true than they should not go on TV and embaress their family like Joe Gorga. The Gorgas and Bravo will dig the dirt on them. The 5 minutes of fame is not worth it.

I am not a family member. This is getting to ugly for me. I will let you fight it out with Desiree. I don’t know who she is, but already people are coming out and exposing their past. If what Desiree is saying is true than be a good friend and tell Penny and Johnny to stay away from Bravo and Andy. They are going to hurt their family like Joe Gorga hurt his.

I said it appears Penny signed a contract — never did I believe she was an official housewife. Bravo may use different types of legal documents for a person of interest vs. friend of housewife vs. housewife, but I don’t know what they are — I just used the general term ‘contract’. I was not told this by anyone: I made the judgment based on a tweet by Penny’s husband’s combined with the TVfishbowl story that I link to in this article.
