Are Season 5′s ‘Friends of Housewife’ Teresa Guidice Really Her Friends?

Bravo recruited three new “friends” — Kim DePaola (paid), Jennifer Dalton (paid) and Elvira Grau (unpaid?) — for Housewife Teresa Giudice to supposedly even the playing field in season 5, but are they really her friends?
Below is a photo of Jennifer Dalton fraternizing with the enemy: pictured are Kathy Wakile, Jennifer, Jennifer’s good friend Misa Hylton Brim, and Melissa Gorga.
Jennifer Dalton was featured on Bravo’s “Pregnant in Heels”. Teresa was at her baby shower earlier in 2012, along with Lil Kim and Elvira Grau (see photo below). Jennifer is best friends with Lil Kim (a music industry connection which Melissa surely would like to cultivate), and Lil Kim is the godmother of her daughter Reign. Jennifer is presently a real estate agent with Sotheby’s.
Elvira Grau is owner of Space Odyssey where Teresa held parties for her children’s birthdays and where Bravo taped a Hurricane Sandy fundraising event on November 30, 2012. Pictured below are Jennifer and Misa at that fundraising event, which Joe and Melissa Gorga also attended (see photos at the end of this article) — Teresa and Kim D were also there.
We already know about Kim D’s shady dealings, and things are looking even more suspicious with the recent revelation that Jennifer Dalton’s good friend Misa Hylton Brim visited Melissa Gorga at her home on December 12, 2012 (in other words, Teresa’s new ‘friend’ Jennifer may have an alliance with Melissa that is unbeknownst to Teresa):

On Christmas day, Cherokee Rose Marie (@KatStacksDeport) tweeted Teresa, warning her to “watch your back” because Jennifer was going to “stack her in the back” like the rest of them since Jennifer’s good friend Misa (Sean Comb’s ex and her baby’s daddy) had been at Melissa’s house two weeks earlier:

Bravo hired “friends” for Teresa — Kim D and Jennifer Dalton — who already had connections to BravoTV, which makes you wonder where their allegiance lies (with Bravo and not Teresa).
Another one of Teresa’s friends for season 5 is Elvira Grau, owner of Spacy Odyssey (pictured above with Teresa and Jennifer and pictured below in the first photo on the left with both the Gorgas and Wakiles) — it seems she is not an official “friend of housewife”, which could mean she is a genuine friend to Teresa (since she is not paid or under contract to Bravo). However, you have to wonder why she was at Bravo’s Pregnant in Heels baby shower for Jennifer Dalton.
Elvira exclusively told RadarOnline.com on December 28, 2012, that she’s going to be squarely in Teresa’s camp if any of the other women want to cause trouble with her friend:
“We have been friends because we’re both comfortable with each other as we are, not jealous or insecure,” the party planner said about her relationship with Teresa.
“I would absolutely defend Teresa against the other woman,” Elvira told Fox News Correspondent Tom Murro.
“I have zero loyalty to anyone on the show except Teresa because I simply don’t know them,” New Correspondent Tom Murro tells us she revealed to him.
“We both have families that we love and that’s priority over anything else.”
“She’s been a great supporter of my business Space Odyssey and I’ve hosted all her girl’s parties!”

Sounds like Christopher was deejaying somewhere maybe??? Or he just enjoys her music?!

Lysa Marco Simpson and Kim Marco Pirrella are Melissa Gorga’s sisters.
Misa Hylton is an ex of Diddy’s and the mother of one of his children. She is friends with Jennifer Dalton (a real estate agent with Sothebys), and was recently a guest at Melissa’s house which is why everyone is questioning Jennifer’s friendship with Teresa. Misa, obviously through Diddy, would have a connection with the music industry so of course Melissa would be very interested in cultivating a friendship with her. Also, there is a concern about Jennifer’s allegiance to Teresa as well. There are rumors out there Melissa would be trying to undermine Teresa with Jennifer so she could have access to Lil Kim (another connection to the music world) who is Jennifer’s best friend! Whew – it is alot to keep straight!
Out of all of them, I think I trust Elvira the most. She has stood by Teresa well before she was even thought of to be a friend of a Housewife – she is the one who very quickly came to Teresa’s defense when Melissa claimed Teresa manhandled her at Gia’s party last year. They have been real friends for a long time. Kim D. – now that’s a whole ‘nother story!

Rosie Pope is the star of “Pregnant in Heels” which is a Bravo-produced show. Jennifer Dalton appeared on one of the episodes and now is on RHONJ. Thus, the link- they are all affiliated with Bravo. Hope that helps you a bit – I know it’s hard to keep things straight sometimes.
Very simple my friends – reality, in reality tv, is a joke. Sooner or later you’ll all figure this out. At the moment, all that is happening is adding to the character’s bottom-line and Bravo’s.

What should people do? is a good question AnnieC. I don’t think they should watch these type of reality shows anymore. I don’t watch Bravo anymore other than to blog about RHONJ. I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish out season 5 if the format doesn’t change. There are real lives being affected by this scripted drama. Bravo seems to be the worst network when it comes to ruining lives. Some of these people don’t know what they’re getting into when they sign on to these shows. It’s sad to watch people chose money and fame over family and friends. Dina and Danielle and some of the others walked away — you have to admire them for that.
I think it’s very simple, if you want to be entertained and escape to pseudo-reality, watch. If you like the soap opera type of catty behavior, watch.
I have long been feeling that all this chatter, twitter, tabloid stories are part and parcel of the Bravo contract; each HW is a full-time employee to keep the conversation (drama) going. We do know, for one example, that producers often have the cast redo scenes to get the shots right, like in a sitcom or scripted drama.
These HW shows are just like dramas, but there are no lines to read, they are all freestyling.
Just my opinion.
I agree, Fame. Flooding the Bravo offices with complaints is useless. People need to realize that Bravo does not care if you enjoy watching their programs, as long as you are watching. If your outrage over how they are portraying Teresa keeps you tuned in – it will continue. For this reason, I’ll be tuning out this season. I will stay tuned to the blogs for my updates.

Listen, the last time the viewers went apeshit on Andy was the reunion that he kept attacking her for her bancruptcy and it drew so much attention that it was in the news. So what did Andy do? did he apologize? Hell, no. He has one of his famous polls and asked the question, Do you think I was too hard on Teresa?” The answer was of course, no.
So now, Andy brings in some pretty trashy looking people (not you Elvira, but you aren’t getting paid, (sorry ~ rotten apples and tomatoes accepted) to be Teresa’s friends. But we really know that he wouldn’t let that happen. Not in any sort of genuine way. He is such a c***. And I have never used that word in my life and I hate it, but I believe that that is the only apt description of this horrible man. He is just a terrible human being.

I believe that too, I think Meho and her twisted sisters have taken it to a whole other level. It is beyond hate. I have never seen a bunch of shrews, like the Marco clan, despise someone like that. It is so evident. I never liked T but I can’t help but want her to prevail over these witches. I have to say I luv Tre’s kids and even Juicy. Now Marcos (that includes lilo man) Go Scratch!
There is obviously some reality to it. Are you saying Teresa and her brother are not at odds because of what happens at PFS? I realize that many of the scenes are set up by Bravo, but the ladies take it from there. Obviously, as Jill Zarin mentioned, they do come up with storylines prior to the season starting, but I think these are painted with a very broad brush. I do not think that it was decided before the season started that Melissa and Teresa would end up the way they did at the end of the season. Much of it is producer driven, and there’s obviously editing. However, these ladies still say what they say and do what they do – FOR THE MOST PART. I did notice there were some creative placement of comments, for example when Jill called Alex a biotch on RHoNY… they placed it in the episode so it appeared that Jill said it at a time when she didn’t actually say it… however, she still DID say it. The bottom line is what we’re watching… and hearing… isn’t always what it seems.
I watch it with an open mind. I believe we are seeing these women’s true personalities. I also base how I feel about any particular housewife on what their behavior is off camera i.e. Jac with her tweeting, problems with fraud, etc.; Taylor trying to con people with her bullcrap abuse story; Caroline and Dina’s feud; Adrienne and Paul’s divorce and the antics of her crazy chef, Bernie… and so on and so on. On the shows themselves, it’s almost a game to figure out what’s organic with the storyline and what’s not. I am not convinced that all these women are such good actresses that it’s all a put on. When I see Teresa trying so hard to hold back tears, no one can tell me it isn’t real. I believe Taylor truly is evil. I believe Vicki truly is a workaholic. If I get fooled at times, who the heck cares. It doesn’t effect my life. Nobody is being forced to do anything against their will which includes both viewers and housewives, et al.
Half of the fun of watching the housewives is coming to sites like this to enjoy the blogs and read other viewers’ comments and share mine. I’ll probably watch the housewives until the end and then I’ll watch what comes next or just watch more of HGTV, AnimalPlanet, Bio and ID Channel.

I said in a comment on a previous thread that the Teresa back stabbing has gotten so old at this point that there is no way she can’t be in on it. She’s not an intellectual but she is certainly not dumb or foolish. I think she knows damn well what is going on. The whole “fool me once, shame you; fool me twice, shame on me” idea applies but not just to Teresa. To viewers as well. She is not going to let herself be fooled into a third season of backstabbing just as we should not let ourselves be fooled either. Plus, I don’t think any of these new cast members are her real friends. If history is any indication of what happens to Teresa’s relationships on this show, she’d really be dumb to bring her actual friends anywhere close to RHONJ.

Teresa is THE ONLY housewife from New Jersey that tweets and talks about all the dinners, vacations, parties, lunches that she attends with FRIENDS. At least once a week Teresa and Juicy are with friends either out some place or their or over at Teresa. Teresa is living her life to the fullest while the rest of them don’t ever mention friends. They all tweet about going places and doing things put each time it is with someone from their family or other cast member. The only “friend” any of them tweet or talk about is Greggy Poo.
HairLikeCher: It amazes me how some people think what we see on housewives is actually their entire life. We’ve never seen Jac’s brother, does that mean he doesn’t exist? Just like Melissa cried about Teresa never “telling viewers about her brother and her.” As if it’s up to Teresa. People are so darn gullible. I mean really, how many of the housewives actual friends have we seen? I guess that must mean none of the housewives have any friends or additional family. We’ve never seen Sonya’s daughter. I guess that means she doesn’t exist. I agree with you… most of these housewives I’m sure don’t want their true friends anywhere near the show and I would bet most of the housewives friends don’t want to be anywhere near the show.
Just want to add that the reason I don’t think Teresa is “in on it” is because I don’t believe this is what she wants. She didn’t want Melissa on the show because she knew it would tear her family apart. To believe that Teresa is in on it means: she’s okay with not having a relationship with her brother OR they actually do have a relationship that we don’t know about. I don’t think either of those things are true.

Teresa was already signed on for season 3 and 4,when Bravo told her about her backstabbing family coming on the show,so Teresa couldn’t back out of the contract!
Teresa didn’t know until later how they got on the show,which explains why Teresa was in shock when Melissa said that she was in contact with Danielle,even though Melissa sugar codied it,and said she only said the nephew thing to Danielle,and blamed it on hormones.
Teresa thought at the time(during season 2 reuion) it was just Danielle telling another lye(Teresa said that durning a interview)!
Not only was Teresa made to be the bad girl in season 3 and seaon 4,just like Danielle was in 1&2,and it also explains why Dina left the show also(the editing,which took place at the christening,Poshce fashion show,and it has came to my attention that there was another party that was supposed to have been shown,of Melissa and Joe going after Kim d just like the PFS, but worse,because apparently Kim D exposed Joe Gorga Business,which is why Melissa said in the episode “A BAld Carney Sings,”that Kim D tried to destroy her husband buisness,Joe gorgas business are frauds)!

You’re right brittany. Teresa was totally blindsided in seasons 3 & 4. She had no idea what the others were saying behind her back. Her pain was very real. I also think she doesn’t really know what Bravo has planned for her in season 5, and she is trusting this new group of ‘friends’ who are being paid by Bravo to bring the drama. I have no doubt that Melissa is using her ability to flatter and manipulate to turn these new ‘friends’ against Teresa like she did Caroline and Jacqueline. Teresa is naive and I feel bad for her. Remember, at the season 4 reunion Melissa said this to her:
“You’re done with me and you’re done with my children.”
That shows just how cold-hearted and evil Melissa is… fame at any cost.

If Teresa knows about all this, goes along with it, and it is all about $$$ – why would she jeopardize her fan base, her Brand that she has worked so hard towards,her outside interests, i.e. Milania hair care, Fabellini, cookbooks, etc., and most importantly, her kids who I believe are truly the most important to her? She is smart enough to KNOW her fans will turn against her in droves if it is true she is putting not only herself, but her KIDS, out there for ridicule with full knowledge. That, for me at least, doesn’t add up given Teresa’s responses to situations in the past. By all appearances, I believe she was genuinely blindsided and extremely hurt but what has transpired in S3 and 4. She took full responsibility for her financial troubles and met them head on, has always been about her kids, and is extremely careful to NEVER offend either her fans or even the ones who are so hateful to her, unlike the other women.
For $$ sad to say – I think the entire housewife franchise is about network $ – Cohen’s pocket and, in the end, we’ll all be proved first-class idiots. Think about it ladies – RHOM Kramer!!!
It is about money for Bravo AnnieC. But I’ve had some contact with an insider, and Bravo is definitely pulling a fast one on Teresa. She needs to wake up and protect herself and her family.
I still do not believe Teresa would sell out her family, in particular, her kids, for the almighty dollar. There’s no way Bravo is compensating her for the potential revenue she has could have coming down the road with everything connected to her Brand. She may appear to be “dumb” as some people say, but she’s not that “dumb” to jeopardize everything she has built OUTSIDE of Bravo. Bravo pays her a salary – she knows that will be gone once she is no longer affiliated with the show, and once that happens, she will need her fanbase and all of her businesses to help support herself and her kids.

It would be impossible to get enough people to boycott the show for it to make a difference. If you don’t want to watch, then don’t. There are millions of others that will though.

The ratings for Miami have always been abysmal, and yet I believe he will renew it for another season.

I have not watched Bravo in the past few months. Andy looking dull, interesting. What goes around, comes around.
When I was watching Bravo, I noticed that Andy would always put Teresa down. It is so clear he is jealous. In his mind he thinks he is so much better than her, better educated, more worldly, etc. Why are people buying her books? How could she have such a big fan base? I could go on, but I am sure you all understand.
Being jealous can eat you alive Andy. By the way does anyone know how well Andy’s book did?

It looks like his book was fairly successful.

I feel the same way about Anderson. I don’t watch him or Kelly Ripa anymore. In my opinion Andy uses his connections to bring Teresa down. He is just that jealous, think about it, Teresa was on Anderson’s show and he took her down. He had to bring her back to make it right and I don’t think it worked.
Thanks Laram! I’m pregnant so I’ve cut out the odd beer or three here and there but boy, even as a social drinker you can tell the difference, but that might have something to do with the no smoking thing to- I stopped my social smoking habit as soon as I fell pregnant to. I haven’t been this clean and healthy since I turned 18 (the legal drinking/smoking/voting/ officially being a grown up age in Australia). If it weren’t for my little passenger I’d be running marathons!
I was reading elsewhere, possibly Stoopid Houswives, something so obvious that hadn’t gelled with me because I’m not in the States and NJ is the only show I follow at this level, that the Bravo girls have a little press circuit: Anderson, Wendy and Andy all of which appear to be magazine type shows rather than journalism so basically, they probably just follow the PR line. I wouldn’t be surprised if a line of questioning was supplied by Bravo as a basis for their interviews with some research put in by their own staff members. Anderson being pals with Andy were probably “helping each other out” by the ladies’ appearances i.e. Anderson got to tap into our market demographic in return for exposure for Bravo. Either way I agree with you that the bias shown is unfair.
When I was going back to see if I could see the comment about the real Lil Kim vs the fake Lil Kim twitter accounts, I stumbled across a comment quoting a blind article (it was under a Dina heading which I can’t get to load) about the Laurita’s dealings with charities and the fact that Bravo is aware of it but chooses to ignore it because the Teresa storyline is more profitable for them. I don’t know about you, but those blind articles always tend to have some validity to them. I just find the whole thing void of ethics. It’s a business about generating revenue but at what cost? Ever watch The Truman Show or EdTv? These movies were made in 98/99 before the massive reality tv onslaught. The villain was the network. It’s funny how a work of pop fiction has become fact.
I hope I didn’t go off on a tangent, I’m in the film and media business and part of my interest in this show, apart from being appalled by the human behaviour, is the machine which drives it all.
Sackem, Laram, and MomaJackie – from someone who used to have such respect for Anderson Cooper, I just about did an Irish jig when I found out his Anderson Live Show was cancelled and will not be on next season. And I absolutely refuse to watch Kelly Ripa anymore even though I enjoyed her with Regis.

i am very glad to say i haven’t watched the interview with anderson & teresa, because i really love him. i wouldn’t go as far to say i would automatically hate him just because he wasn’t on team teresa. i have friends that are team manzo/laurita/gorga & i try to just respect their opinions. it seems that the only people that are team manzo/laurita/gorga are people that just watch the show. they don’t read any of the bravo blogs or blogs like this one, so they aren’t getting nearly as much information as people that do. they’re just going with whatever they see on tv, which bravo is sort of pointing people towards being on the manzo/laurita/gorga side. if that makes sense?
& i don’t know if it’s just me, but saying you’re happy that his show got cancelled all because he doesn’t like teresa just seems kind of mean spirited, or wishing/hoping for them to fail. just because you don’t like someone doesn’t mean you should be happy that something bad happened to them. i don’t mean to preach or anything, so please don’t take it that way. i just had posted a comment last night, & when i re-read it tonight i realized how harsh it really was. i hate seeing people or myself be mean. & i’ve always kind of thought this blog was full of intelligent & kind people, unlike a lot of blogs that just bash people for idiotic reasons.
Hey toxicprince – I don’t take your comments as preaching at all and you are certainly entitled to feel the way you do about Anderson Cooper. Unfortunately, however, and I am not trying to preach to you so please don’t read it this way, when he had Teresa on, he was very disrespectful to her and treated her like a child, goading her and criticizing her. Because of the huge public outcry of that interview, he asked her to come back the next day and while it was a little better, it wasn’t enough – he never really apologized for what he did to her.
But this is not the only reason I have become disenchanted with him – like you, in the past, I have admired him for his work. However, since he has become so chummy with Andy Cohen, Kelly Ripa and her husband, he tears into Teresa any chance he gets. He has had Caroline, Jacqueline, and Melissa on and treats them with the utmost respect, almost fawning all over them, and at the same time, always brings up Teresa so they can bash her as well. Taking it a step further, he has appeared on other talk shows as a guest and childishly brings Teresa up clearling using the forum to, once again, bash not only Teresa, but her family members as well. It was just so immature. It doesn’t matter whether you are pro or con against Teresa or the other housewives; it has to do with the UNFAIRNESS that once again Teresa and her family are treated by Anderson Cooper.
Anderson Cooper was a legitimate and well respected journalist before he started his “entertainment show” Anderson Cooper Live. In my eyes, he went way downhill, and not just because of the way he treated Teresa. I started watching it when it first started because of my respect for him but as the topics and storylines started to unfold, (nothing to do with the RH franchises), his show would be borderline tabloid which, for me, diminishes his credibility and makes it much more difficult to take him seriously. Now that the show has been cancelled, hopefully, he can get back to doing what he does best: serious, UNBIASED reporting. This is just my personal opinion and as I have said in the past, I certainly can respect yours!

I am certain a great many people, as well as myself, felt Anderson’s show was less than mediocre, thus being the reason it was cancelled.
I feel the same way about Live with Kelly and Michael. Although Michael was a breath of fresh air. The show was just not as entertaining as it was in the past. I am not entertained by Kelly’s baby talk, fake pouts and childish behavior. The show had turned into a bad vaudeville act for me. It was not difficult to tune out.
Some people just don’t translate into an entertainment style programme – even I knew who he was as a hard journalist and I’m on the other side of the planet! Should have stuck with reportage instead of personality.
glad you didn’t take it wrong! i personally haven’t watched this interview with teresa, & am kind of glad. i don’t think i’ll go looking for it though. i think i know what you mean though. wendy williams is another similar story. when she kept saying that teresa needs to leave reality tv because it is ruining her family, i was stunned! i couldn’t believe it. does nobody other than us on this blog not realize that it was melissa coming on that has made their family relationships worse? teresa had nothing to do with it, she didn’t want them to come on. as they say, she was there first! why should she leave her job just because her sister-in-law came on trying to get people to dislike her? it amazes me that people that loved teresa the first two seasons started to dislike her during season 3. i guess they don’t see that it is melissa. she is able to twist everything teresa says into it being bad or mean. the thing i try to tell my friends is, you loved teresa the first two seasons, why do you think it is that you have started to dislike her? they don’t see that it’s manipulative melissa doing it, with the help of bravo!
i know a lot of people have been saying they aren’t going to watch season 5, but i still am, no matter what. the show, for me, is purely for entertainment & i try not to take it further than that. i am a big fan of teresa’s & will support her in whatever it is she does as long as she stays the same, caring, kind & family-oriented person she is. she’s not perfect, but i see her for being real, she makes mistakes & contrary to what some of the other HWs say, she owns up to them & takes responsibility. i think she is a fantastic mother & wish all the best for her & her family. i wish all the best for all the ladies, whether i have respect for them or not.
i am hoping that this new season brings at least teresa & her family closer together. i am not hoping that terrible things happen to melissa, but i hope she gets whatever it is that she deserves & gets a reality check. i miss the good old days when it was mostly acquaintances fighting & not family or close friendships. i know teresa & jac will never be the same, but i hope they can both forgive & be civil to one another.

Depending on the degree of being a bitch, in my home a “bitch” was called “an chienne”, which, where we came from could also be a dog, but spelled differently in French or “putain”. The bitches must have been really bad down here in south Louisiana, lol, 99% of the time my mother used the word “putain”.
And yes, I agree, she is somewhat unfortunate looking, likely by her own doing.
I do not like commenting on someone’s looks because it’s usually beyond their control, however, in this case I don’t feel as bad saying that she is quite unattractive because as you said, it’s likely that she did it to herself.
i completely understand. i try not to judge others based on their looks, because as you said, it’s completely out of their control. in this case, however, i assume she has had some “dental” work done. a lot of it. & if she hasn’t, well, i feel really bad for her. that is really unfortunate.
plastic surgery is a very unfortunate thing, & sometimes a very good thing. i wish doctors could do something about people getting too much. intervene in some way. i guess doctors don’t really care though, because they are after money. it’s just so sad seeing naturally pretty people go downhill with surgery. because after all, they usually look fine in the first place.

I don’t think it sounds harsh. I completely agree. There are many times where plastic surgery helps but there are times when it seems women become addicted and don’t know when to stop. A few housewives come to mind. They get carried away with the fillers, etc. and God only knows what Botox and Restylane does after years and years of using it. Look at Mama Elsa. She was physically a beautiful woman. Forgive me, but one would never guess that now.
Some of these women are striving for perfection… instead they look overworked and plastic.
It’s almost as if a higher power is punishing them for being so superficial.
Others are so ugly on the inside, no matter how pretty they are, whether it be natural beauty or achieved with some help, it doesn’t even matter… they will be perceived as ugly… period. Conversely, look at Mama Elsa… somewhere something went terribly wrong, however, she is still popular and loved because of who she is on the inside. So it works both ways. With many of these housewives, I can’t view their looks objectively because their insides are reflected on the outside. When I see an article and they refer to Taylor Armstrong as “stunning” I just don’t see it. She’s odd looking to me. Her face always looks contorted.
Then there’s makeup. Melissa is a perfect example… she is actually very plain Jane without makeup. Professional make up artists can make her look like Jennifer Lopez. However, with her long face, huge forehead and pointy chin, with just a little green makeup, she looks like the quintessential witch. The rest of her is already there.

I am really getting a bad feeling about Jennifer Dalton even though I am trying really hard not to. I want to give all of these new “characters” a fair shot when the new season starts. But. . . .she admits in her tweets that it is because of her Misa is at Melissa’s house with Teresa’s knowledge.

crowdMGMT represents Misa Hylton – she is a celebrity stylist – as well as Isiah Thomas NBA Great; DJ Zeke Thomas; Kelly DeMauro, celebrity makeup artist; and CariDee English, winner of America’s Top Model in 2006 who also happens to be a singer and musician.
Why would Misa and EJ be at Melissa’s house other than talking “business” and why would Jennifer be involved if she is a “friend” of Teresa knowing the bad blood between the two sister-in-laws? Maybe because Teresa wa aware of this, she is trying to show she holds no grudges towards Melissa? I don’t know but, to me, something smells – rotten. Hopefully, I am wrong.
Now I really am suspicious – go through this slide show about Jennifer Dalton – there are two photos of GREAT INTEREST – one is of Jennifer, Misa, KATHY and MELISSA – the other is of LIL KIM and JENNIFER on the staircase in MELISSA’S home. Not only is this starting to smell rotten – it STINKS to high heaven!!!

As for S5- I will watch ONE show, if it appears, in the slightest, that it will be taking the same path as S4- I’m outa there. Hubs is thrilled! he despises ALL that is Blavo and cannot reconcile my Blavo viewing with the fact that he has always considered me an intelligent, savvy person with refined tastes. To subject myself to such mind porn (his name for these shows) is beyond the pale. He claims he can FEEL himself losing IQ points when that channel is on, he is NOT a fan of Blavo, needless to say! Boring Sunday morning on West Coast, so I got inspired by Brittany checking out Kathy’s tweets. I just looked at Johnny the Greek @johnnythegrk. I can see where he and Joe Gorga have same sense of humor, but boy in past two days is he bashing Melissa, at least in reference, and to Renne Graziano.

I really think it is sad it has come to this for the women of RHONJ I thought Jacqueline & Caroline was true friends of Teresa’s but look how that turned out!! I dont think Teresa can really totally trust anyone in this situation they could be friends then when they get on the show sell her out for fame and money. Look at her family her brother and her cousins sold her out for fame and noteriety!! So tell me how could she possibly trust anyone after what her brother did to her and her cousins. I can only hope they wont do that to her but im not gonna hold my breath cause anything possible.
The housewives plan now,is more of Joe Giudice cheating,they keep putting out negative stories on Teresa,and seprate Teresa parents from her(Teresa).Melissa won’t stop until she’s the star of the show and in the family!
Is it petty of me to say that if Missy’s doing a book about Love: Italian Style, wouldn’t it help to mention long lasting Italian relationships to aspire to for example her inlaws who recently celebrated 42 years of marriage?? I mean come on, if not just for the PR op. Even Gia was smart enough to think of that! It’s like the real Gorgas are not on her radar for all the family talk she’s built her profile on but she’s more than happy to promote a montage dedicated to her ass. How the hell is she going to fill those pages with 6 years under her belt? Gems like a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach like my Nan would say. Hot meal on the table stuff as I’ve read elsewhere? Some women enjoy the 50′s style relationships and more power to you but these things are hardly ground breaking or modern and we’ve all been given that advice …. ugh.

Melissa Marco is so far from the 50′s style housewife it isn’t funny! Yeah, she has said things like bring your hubby his slippers, meet him at the door dressed in very little, send him a fruit basket, have dinner on the table, blah, blah, blah – the thought of all this throws back the role of women so far it is incomprehensible how today’s women would even take this seriously!!.
But what I do find funny – she is NEVER home to do all that – she is too busy out self-promoting and her sister watches the kids ALL the time because Joe travels with her, needing his own 15 mins of fame riding on her coattails. When does this woman have time to cook every night for her family – puhleeze! Those two do not, in any way, represent what a modern day marriage is, even if only for the reason of their notoriety.

Jennifer or Kim D are simply not believeable as friends of Tre’s. And while I’m sure it’s probably terribly rude to say this, Jennifer and her friends are so unattractive I actually find them difficult to look at!
A little while ago, Chris Stark was tweeting info that the production team was very unhappy with Kim D because she wasn’t filming “well” and her footage was useless – whatever that meant. Then the team stopped filming temporarily and called a meeting on a Monday morning to go over the situation.
I wonder if the decision to bring Penny in was a result of Kim D. “not delivering”. Well, for whatever reason, if this is true and Penny is being filmed, then we can all have “hope” that finally some of Melissa’s past will be brought to the viewers and people will get to see who she really is.
At the very least GreekChick’s news is very welcome – I just worry about the editing and the spin that will be put on Penny – I wouldn’t put it past Bravo to shed HER in a bad light because of her friendship with Teresa. Hopefully, that will not come to pass.
Very good points Jeannie. Bravo takes scenes out of sequence to create false storylines — they did it with Dina’s brief appearance in S4. I don’t trust them to let all of Melissa’s skeletons out of the closet without trying to sanitize it and blame everything on Teresa — the bad sister trying to ruin her brother’s marriage. After they splice and dice the footage, they’ll script the talking head interviews for Melissa so she can come out the victim. That’s what I see happening.
Greek Chick – so I guess my wishes about Elvira in my above comment are wrong! Oh well, then, according to this, Penny really is Teresa’s only friend. This also explains Johnny’s tweets with a Lora Rouleon December 29th. She was asking when we would all find out about the lies and suggesting that he and Penny write a book or start blogging. And Johnny answered with (parapharasing here combining two tweets to Lora) “See you’re not reading between the lines. All that you seek “will be seen”. All that you seek will be answered by a beautiful blonde that I have the honor of calling my wife.”

Penny is the real deal and has the real scoop on Melissa’s past (she knows all the people and has the contacts). Bravo cut Penny out of the season 4 finale when she was the one who knew the people and brought them to the event — Bravo made it seem like Kim D was the mastermind and that Teresa was in on it — she wasn’t. Penny would be a true friend to Teresa unlike Kim D and Jennifer Dalton. I happy to see that Penny is under contract… we can expect Melissa’s secrets to come out now (or as much as Bravo will allow), but Teresa needs to tread carefully or else she will be made to look malicious and her ‘brand’ could suffer.

I’ve been following this website for awhile but have never posted. Someone above asked what we should do to show Bravo and Andy our disgust with their shows and I agree, it’s to quit watching it. I’ve stopped recording WWHL and I won’t watch any more reunion shows. I currently am watching RHOBH but won’t watch the reunion. I’ll see how NJ starts and probably quit watching it as well. I will however continue to read this blog. I love it! Good work Fame!

Kim D just started these facebook posts on Thursday and Friday. Chris Stark hadn’t tweeted since the 18th. I think maybe the role that Bravo wanted to use Kim D for…did not work out as Chris had been tweeting (that Kim D does not film well). I bet Kim D’s rants and ravings are in response to Penny’s contract. Penny is probably taking over the role they had intended for Kim D.

The people at Bravo know how to twist the stories of the housewives to fire up the viewers and keep them tuned in. The constant attacks on the viewers’ favorite character seems to be a winning formula with the New Jersey cast. I think Teresa goes along with this crap because good ratings equals “still employed”. I stopped watching TV almost 3 years ago and don’t miss it one bit. I got sucked into the housewives shows back when the OC started and have watched them change the show into utter crap. For a long time I would just watch the shows on Bravo’s website and read the blogs. Then I got sucked into Stoopid Housewives and this site. Now, I never go to Bravo’s website anymore and don’t even watch the shows anymore. I’m so glad there are brave women out there like Fame to watch this crap and report back so I don’t have to. This series of shows is just entertainment to me and I see no reason to get worked up over these fame whores. If you don’t like all the crap on your TV, then there’s only one thing to do – Kill your TV!

I updated the article to clarify that Elvira is in the photo at the top left with both the Gorgas and the Wakiles. I didn’t mean to imply she was the woman in the other photos as well, just the photo with the Gorgas and Wakiles, but I can see how my sentence could me interpreted differently since I wasn’t specific enough.
