Radar Online, via Tom Murro (a friend to everyone but the Giudices), released the Gorga’s Christmas card as an ‘exclusive’. The following is the RadarOnline story published on December 20, 2012:

Melissa Gorga and her picture perfect family posed for their annual Christmas card recently, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively obtained a copy of her portrayal of seasonal cheer.
On the card, the reality star is seen smiling broadly with hubby Joe and their three children Antonia, Gino and Joey Gorga and a cheerful message is included inside: “May your holidays sparkle with the love of family, warmth of good friends, and the happiness and laughter of children. Wishing you all the little joys of the season.”
One of the lucky recipients of Gorga’s missive of Holiday cheer was Huffington Post correspondent Tom Murro, who shared it exclusively with Radar.
As we previously reported, Teresa Giudice’s sister-in-law is back hard at work filming season 5 of the hit Bravo reality show, but she makes no mention of her celebrity status on the card, instead writing “Thank you Jesus” on the back.

I think it was pretty clear that Melissa wanted to be on the show: Danielle outed her and Bravo never denied that she was in contact with them. Melissa’s mother, Donna Marco, tweeted the sarcastic remark directed at Teresa about the Gorga’s Christmas card that was part of the headline to the RadarOnline article: “Wonder If Teresa Giudice Will Receive One?”. Plus she is actively promoting (see tweets below) the advice book on love and marriage, “Love, Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage” (see Starcasm story below), that Melissa is co-writing, which is scheduled to be published in the Fall of 2013 (most likely just in time for the season 5 finale).

Melissa Gorga is the latest Housewife to sign a deal to write a book, but don’t worry Teresa Giudice, the only recipe Melissa is cooking up in her upcoming release is the recipe to a good marriage. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star will be teaming up with St. Martin’s Press (the same publisher who released Andy Cohen’s Most Talkative) to bring us Love, Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage.
“I can’t tell you how many times Joe and I are approached by fans asking how they can have a marriage like ours,” Melissa tells Us Weekly of the idea for the book. ”A great marriage doesn’t just happen. It’s a job.” Also a job is keeping things hot with three kids around.
Melissa, who has been married for eight years, will teach readers “practical strategies on how to strengthen their marriage, amp up the passion, and the secrets that make my marriage as sexy and hot as it is warm and loving.”
Oddly enough, Melissa’s sister-in-law Teresa Giudice tried to break down their marriage during the last season of the show, telling co-stars that she had heard Joe was cheating on Melissa. At the time, however, there were actually rumors that her own husband (Joe Giudice) was cheating on her. Needless to say, one source claims Teresa is “gonna flip” over Melissa’s book deal.
In public, though Teresa is supportive of Melissa’s book deal, tweeting: “Congrats to my sis-in-law @melissagorga on her book deal! So happy for you! Kisses”.
Near the end of the video above, Melissa gives relationship advice and talks about her marriage: “The first five years with argued.”
According to an insider at Reality Tea on December 21, 2012:
Melissa Gorga is currently working on a self-help/advice book about having a healthy and happy marriage.
Well our source tells us this is a complete joke, because Melissa’s marriage to Poison Gorga isn’t so happy at all!
“This is another fake, sick, and sad attempt to ‘out do’ her sister in law. Melissa and Joe have created this whole ‘perfect marriage’ image so they can cash in on it,” our source shares. “They are so desperate to earn a dollar they will do anything. Melissa and Joe love money. They are obsessed with it. “
Apparently the Gorgas are no better off than the Giudices are!
“Dig into their marriage a little. Ask those who really know them how their marriage. Melissa is opening up herself and her marriage to a LOT of skeletons,” the source advises. “They will for sure come FLYING out of the closet when this nonsense book comes out.”
And just a sample of how things are behind closed doors in the Gorga’s temporary mansion?
“I wonder if she will talk in her book about how her husband has always controlled how much she ate, even pregnant because he wouldn’t allow her to ‘get fat’ as he put it. When she was pregnant he would push food away from her and tell her that’s enough,” our source alleges! “I have also seen my fair share of fights between those two.”
There have been a TON of rumors surrounding Melissa’s marriage, but so far the Gorgas have maintained a happy facade. Who knows what the truth is, but knowing Bravo as we do if there is any truth to these rumors they will find a way to worm their way out.
Our source claims that besides money Melissa’s motivation for the book is a storyline – and also to try and outdo Teresa Giudice! The release date for Melissa’s book apparently coincides with the planned airing of RHONJ season 5 (Fall, 2013).
The Gorgas are lost in scripted reality and think they are the characters that Bravo has defined them to be: the young, sexy couple with the hot marriage and happy family.
Furthermore, the Gorgas are using the Christmas holiday to promote their ‘Thank You Jesus’ and ‘Wifey’ t-shirts, which they sell online. And Joe, in his normal pubescent way, tweeted some Christmas cheers (see photos below).

Melissa’s relationship book will set women back one hundred years. I’m sure her target audience is those that are young and chasing money. Sad, Sad, Sad. I see the writing on the back of the Gorga’s Christmas card and on Melissa’s T-shirts with the words “Thank you Jesus!” as offensive and borderline blasphemous – it’s just the way I, personally, was raised. Melissa uses it as a catchphrase. Like everything else, if you overexpose something people become desensitized. If you really believe in Jesus, yes, you certainly should thank Him for the gifts He gives you, but not to the point where it becomes rote and thoughtless, and part of “pop” culture. Just my personal feelings.
The fact that Mego is using the name of Jesus in a way for complete promotion of herself and for profit disgusts me.

Ya know what? The thing about these books is that anyone with common sense would not waste their time on them anyway. Oh, this question is from an earlier article posted by Fame, but what does it mean when I read ‘Caroline is under contract and so are Chris & Albie’ mean when describing Bravo set ups? Does it mean they have stipulations in their contract that they can’t be publicly humilated? If so, that’s so wrong! That to me says ‘they can dish insults, accusations, etc., but if under contract by Bravo they definently don’t have to take insults, accusations, etc.’. Thanks to anyone who can explain that to me.
Marymondee – I know it is difficult to believe people actually walk up to the Gorgas and ask them how they have such a successful marriage – but unfortunately, if you read her timeline on Twitter, there are alot of compliments and questions from her fans about how “wonderful” her marriage and family is. Beyond me!
Cee_See – I think it just means they are under contract – not that they cannot be publicly humiliated. We know already Bravo “sets up” the storylines, scenes, edits, etc. and, of course, uses their own agenda to give us, the viewers, their “vision” of what the reality is for the “cast” of these “characters.” And, as we are all well aware, that is to make the Manzos/Lauritas/Gorgas out to be the “pillars of the community” and the Giudices the “scum of the earth”.
What is disheartening is the majority of viewers swallow this crap as “real”. Just like Melissa’s book will be considered “gospel” by her sheep. I find that scary for young adults, especially women, who will be lead to believe that sex is the be all and end all to a marriage. When you get to be where I am – 38 years and still strong – while sex can be something that continues to keep you connected with your partner, ultimately, it is not what gets you through the good times, and especially the bad. It’s all about being there for one and other, trust, support, understanding, compromise, and respect for the marriage as an entity while understanding the need for individuality. No matter how long one is married, it will continue to be a work in progress.

I tell you what, if the Gorga’s relationship is to be the model of the American marriage – I’d be getting out of dodge! Can you imagine a generation of men and women like them?
You guys know I’m up the duff, we are expecting a girl, and many conversations have turned to how important it is for the father to be a role model. They show their daughters the way they should be treated and boys how to treat women. Not underestimating mothers, we are taken for granted – I admit I take my Mum for granted anyway, but they self esteem built in the home influences identity and achievement. The relationship and interactions they see at home is the only real map to their social development. I would hate for my daughter to learn that women need to use sexuality to get ahead before brains and heart…. that’s my interpretation of the Gorga dynamic.

The way Joe is supporting me is so untouchable. I know he loves me and I thank him everyday for what he does for me. I just watched shows that aired in August of 2011. I can CLEARLY see how the producers manipulated everything to make Melissa look like a saint, and Teresa not.
