The key point: Teresa didn’t know the master plan and that Angelo was going to be at the fashion show, so she had no reason to warn Melissa – as far as she knew, the setup had been directed at her at the salon, putting her in an awkward position while Kim D talked to Angelo about Melissa’s past. The event transpired, and there was nothing she could do to stop it or change it – it was producer-driven and all she could do was ask them not to talk about her family, and when they persisted, remove herself from the situation, which she did. She probably thought she had time to tell Melissa and Joe off camera what happened before it aired (a year later). Had she called Melissa right then, while taping season 4, to tell her what had transpired, she would have got in a big mess with her brother just like she did when she told him she heard rumors that Melissa would leave him for a richer man. They always twist things and accuse her of having malicious intentions – look how they immediately blamed her for the setup at the PFS when all Angelo said was ‘hi’ and then asked Melissa if she remembered him – he didn’t say, ‘Do you remember working for me as a dancer at Lookers’ gentlemen’s club’?
According to a RHONJ post production supervisor for season 4, “the other cast were angry with Teresa for not letting Melissa know what was going to happen, but she was told not to by producers because they wanted a ‘reaction shot’ from Melissa — so either way, Teresa lost out. “

The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans will get to see why Melissa Gorga isn’t speaking with Teresa Giudice anymore on Sunday’s season finale. But Melissa explains that there are more reasons behind her decision to step away from Teresa, according to a new “Wetpaint Entertainment” report released on Sept. 20.
According to the report, it isn’t just what Teresa said when she forgot that she was wearing a microphone that has Melissa angry. She claims that Teresa did much more to her and her husband Joe, including affecting their financial situation.
According to the report, Melissa Gorga has opened up about her sister-in-law betrayal and how she is coping with the current season, since she is reliving everything again.
“It was vindictive and disgusting,” Melissa explains of the fashion show drama yet to come. “What Teresa did was like stabbing a knife in my back.”
However, since the fashion show, things have gotten worse even though Melissa has tried to make peace several times for the sake of her husband.
“I had some club appearances booked and she called the owner and said, ‘Don’t give her another appearance. Don’t pay her.’ The owner called me up and was like, ‘Teresa is literally screaming at me’,” Melissa Gorga has revealed about Teresa’s behavior when the cameras weren’t rolling. “She’s trying to hurt us as much as she can financially,” Melissa added.
And while Melissa claims she is “officially done,” her husband is trying to come to a realization that his sister isn’t as supportive of him anymore.
According to Us Weekly/WetPaint, when asked how Joe was coping with everything, Melissa revealed,
“He has a really hard time forgiving her because he’s so sick and tired of her bashing us. It breaks my heart.”

Teresa Giudice wants you to know a few things: 1. She had nothing to do with the “Strippergate” moment from this week’s shocking Real Housewives of New Jersey episode, and 2. It’s really not that big of a deal anyways.
In her blog this week, Teresa at length tackles all of the accusations that she had a hand in allegedly setting up her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga for the awkward ambush you saw on Sunday.
“I think you can see I was sincerely uncomfortable at this strange guy trying to talk to me about Melissa’s past,” Teresa writes, saying that Angelo “really did think I knew about her past — which I didn’t, I still don’t, and I, like the rest of America, don’t care! … The whole situation just felt weird, so I took myself out of it. I can’t keep track of all the people Melissa has pissed off in our town, but I am not going to be a part of it.”
Teresa also questions why the others involved would think she took part in setting up Melissa.
“First of all, I don’t play like that. For better or worse, what you see with me is what you get. I don’t scheme and plot and try and twist people’s minds and opinions about things. I don’t bash people on Twitter, have my sisters and mothers and daughters pick fights with people on social media, I’m just not about that. You know who does that sort of thing. They always have and they always will … Second, I have nothing to gain from exposing Melissa. She is my parent’s only daughter-in-law, she goes by our family name “Gorga.” Why would I want anything bad out there about a Gorga?”
Having dealt with the whole blow-up, Teresa says she’s “so over all of this backwards, made-up drama” and that in the longrun, she doesn’t think there’s a fire burning beneath all of the smoke.
“I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really see what the big deal is here. Someone Melissa used to work with said ‘hi’ to her at a fashion show and then left. I don’t know what his intentions were, if he thought it was funny, but seriously, big f—ing deal … the whole thing was a big fat nothing. The entire scandal is that maybe Melissa danced? I’m sorry, but after all the hype, it doesn’t even look like a set-up to me, more like a let-down. I have to say it again: big f—ing deal.”
Kim D’s Conflicts with Melissa Started When She Hired Kim D’s Former PR Person
Kim DePaola gave an exclusive interview with RumorFix, calling out Melissa’s sisters for bullying her on Twitter. According to RumorFix:
Kim says she got confrontational on Twitter because Melissa should express her concerns to her face-to-face. Kim explained:
“On Twitter, Melissa was insinuating why would Teresa still shop here if I did that to Melissa? The last time I saw Melissa, she and Joe were very cordial and very apologetic for what happened at the fashion show. So when I saw her on Twitter — and when her sister started to attack me — I was like, ‘Wait a minute, you had your chance two weeks ago [at the reunion], why didn’t you do it then? Why didn’t you say it to my face?’ I don’t take kindly to that. If you want to say something, you say it to my face. When her sister said, ‘I want to run into you hotshot’ [on Twitter], well I’m at Posche all by myself today. I don’t see anybody waiting outside my door. That’s why I said you know where I am.”

Kim says her conflicts with Melissa started a while ago when the reality star hired Kim’s former PR person.
“[The PR rep] starts working for Melissa and went on a rampage about me. Melissa started promoting this other store that keeps calling themselves the real Posh. I planned my fashion show last year for September 27th. Not five minutes later there was the other Posh fashion show — October 27th — with Melissa’s face promoting it. You want to go there and attack my business? There’s going to be problems. This is the way I make a living. I don’t have a rich husband. You want to go there? Then we’re gonna go there,” Kim continues.
Finally, Kim claims Melissa’s family (including Melissa’s sister, Lysa Marco-Simpson) is cyber-bullying her based on tweets she has been receiving.

Recently I checked Penny’s account to see what she’s saying about the PFS setup since Penny & Johnny were behind it with Kim D (Cat Rodriguez gave the cast a heads up and foiled their plan — Teresa was the only one in the dark), which is why I believe Pete Giudice didn’t want to be associated with Penny & Johnny. Even though I cringe when Jacqueline comes on my tv, part of me would like to see the fallout between her and Melissa when Jacqueline finally realizes that Melissa has used her. I think Caroline and Jacqueline were well aware that Melissa and Kathy were desperate to be on the show and that it would cause problems. Yes, I agree she has the traits of both. I have an ex-friend that is a sociopath. She is relentless and obsessive. They can be very dangerous people, once your in their sites your doomed. It is very obvious that he and his team are behind all these favored Teresa blog site that point out everything about the other RHONJ yet gloss over Teresa’s contradictions. Steve Levine is related to the young boy Matthew Levine that has that rare kidney disease. The Nephcure foundation is the charity Teresa played for on Celebrity Apprentice and oh how convenient Steve Levine helps cast people for CA…no real surprise as to how T choose this particular foundation to play for…much to Dina’s surprise…as she would have loved Project Ladybug her charity to get the exposure. She was went on record saying she was not mad at T but disappointed…Ha! IMO, she was used by Teresa.
Lolag posts a lot of opinion as fact, it’s a hobby. They’re on an anti Teresa crusade over there.

Thanks REALLY? I don’t know Steve Levine or anyone else associated with The Real Housewives. Also, I don’t get why people are bothered that Teresa played for a charity that the Trumps support. It’s a legit charity that is helping sick children. If the Trumps picked it for her, so be it. Dina’s charity would have been held up to more scrutiny had Teresa chosen it, and Project Ladybug would have suffered. Teresa’s haters really want to make people believe that there is a rift between them. Dina isn’t a pushover like Jac and has continued to support Teresa and deny Caroline’s false accusations… I admire her for that.

I remember reading somewhere that unless it is the celebrities own charity, the charity they play for has to be a larger charity than something the size of Project Ladybug. So Teresa probably was given a charity by the show, but who cares? It’s not like it’s going to a bad cause. Seriously, why would it matter how someone on that show gets a charity? I am sure Teresa isn’t the first or last person to be handed something like that. Teresa got handed a charity by production, Melissa got handed a free pass to be a piece of sh-t by production. Fame, do you watch Wendy Williams? Today her clip of the day was a scene from sundays episode where T confronts Jac. Honestly to me it seems Jac seems nervous and stumbles alot. I have to agree Really? The regulars at Reality Tea are quite viscous. Even after Dina stated her estrangement with Caroline had nothing to do with Teresa, the called Dina a liar. Most on that site can’t or won’t see anything about Teresa favorable. Let’s face it, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to put two and two together regarding the latest contraversy that is NJ. Lolag was and probably still is a huge Jac lover, and a first class shit stirrer. Most on that site have very little intelligence and view life with a lot of hate. I agree. The people at Reality Tea are beyond pathetic and sad. Many of them (not all) are racist, homophobic and sexist and have said some of the most disgusting things about people of those groups. And the ones who run the site (particularly Mary) are opinionated idiots who don’t know how to spell and can’t comprehend basic writing skills. Did mel reaaly say in US mag that Teresa left HER mic on? When did she do that interview? Maybe she didnt know which way bravo and the gang of thugs would spin this. She will send Jac out to tweet that the mag quoted her wrong or some other cover up lie. I know we have heard that angelo left HIS mic on….and he implictes Teresa…is now saying she had nothing to do with it. likely this interview was done prior to mel watching the actual show bravo aired last sunday eventhough she gets to see it a week in advance. Wouldnt that be funny if prior to the US mag interview, bravo producers told mel to say T left her mic on knowing it was angelo they edited to have done that? Maybe mel will get a taste of the bravo medicine.
I heard the same thing, that ANGELO left his mic on and that his conversation was edited to make Teresa the bad guy. I for one have learned not to believe anything on this show when I don’t actually see the words coming out of the person’s mouth on camera. And from what Jac and Mel have said the camera won’t be on the person but we will be able to identify the voice and we should read the subtitles carefully. Nope not falling for it!
And how would Mel know if Teresa’s mic was hot? Did she go down the back of Teresa’s dress? Or did that nasty now fired producer tell her? Melissa’s IQ would triple is she would just keep her lying mouth shut! And from the “Instructions” to watch the subtitles and listen to off screen voices – it is apparent WackyJacky is hip deep in this festival of disgusting scumfestering poorly edited half ass set up gone wild.
If it was Teresa who left her mic on, she better say these exact words of “yes melissa I did set you up” in order for me to believe it. Honestly, all these women have been hyping this big set up and their claims as to what Teresa has been doing has just made them look silly. I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole mic thing is a big flop. I wish at the reunion Teresa would just sit there and not give into these ladies, be calm, and say “well I’m sorry you feel that way” that would really get them. I don’t know how she handles it or how much more Bravo thinks she can take. Ps in Mels blog she states at the end how she has three kids, well she should remind her husband of that the way he talks about sex like a 12yr old, and not to mention what the “lovely” names he calls he sister at a pool party in front of a bunch of kids, then refers to himself as an angel of god. Hmm great role model.

Hope that Teresa handles the reunion in the same manner that NeNe did one year. Don’t remember which, but she was quiet, contained and cool as a cucumber. So we’ll all be squirming emotionally through the finale and the reunion as this despicable attempt to annihilate Teresa continues, with none of the “ladies”, Andy, or Bravo letting up on the notion of this ridiculous charade that she has wronged her friends and family with malicious intent. Does anyone remember Melissa trying to backtrack after the initial flurry of info from Penny, Angelo and Johnny that Teresa was NOT involved? She said that Bravo has magic and she’d have to see how they spin it? Even though it is obvious that Teresa didn’t have a thing to do with any set up, the only way Melissa will continue to get any attention is to continue to perpetuate these twisted, sociopathic lies.
What IS obvious is that she and Cat and the rest of the cast were all in on this from the start, and the lack of regard that these women have for Teresa and her family borders on pure evil. Interesting that they’ve all tried to paint Teresa as someone who believes that she is better than all of them and needs everyone beneath her, when they are all so frickin jealous of her success that they have formed a line with their heaviest boots on in an attempt to grind her into dust.
There is little Bravo can do at this point to redeem themselves from these past two seasons of trying to assasinate Teresa’s character other than bringing Danielle back for season 5. Wouldn’t it be sweet justice if that happened and Teresa and Danielle became allies and exposed the lies? There has to be an end to this. It is so painful to watch and so sad – it literally turns my stomach. The limits these people have pushed to sell their own agendas is the lowest of the lows. Let me tell you something, I do not want a cannoli kit on display in my home!! (sorry couldn’t resist) I do not know how these women can sleep at night. I will continue to watch, but only with the faintest hope that karma will pay a visit to each and every one of them someday soon.

The comment section @ Reality Tea is virtually unreadable – not just due to the aggravating format change – but also the minority group who comment, seemingly non-stop drivel that have taken over the section. I LOVE this site and thankfully have recently discovered the comment section here, which I am enjoying a lot.
Fame, I would like to compliment you on the site, and all the hard work you have done in putting everything together. I am just catching up on all the blogs as I was away, but did in fact watch the finale. As you and others have commented, there was nothing to indicate that Teresa set up Melissa, except the comments that Angelo made to the one guest, that on the surface seem to implicate Kim D. and Teresa. We all know that it was editing at its worst from the Bravo producers who were clearly biased against Teresa.
We all know that all the players, Angelo, John and Penny from the salon and Kim D., have all stated that Teresa did not take part in setting up Melissa. The information and sources obtained by you, all confirm that the fired producers were behind the set up and all the drama, and that all the cast (except Teresa) were texted about what was happening and they themselves were then “acting” accordingly to set up Teresa to take the fall. When you watch part two of the finale, you can clearly see that it was Jacqueline that started calling it a set up and then stirred the pot with Caroline, to convince Melissa and Joe Gorga that it was Teresa setting up Melissa. Teresa was so right on, when she approached Jacqueline and said that maybe she was being set up and Jacqueline was involved. While all of your blogs clearly show that the producers were behind all the drama, Jacqueline was the catalyst for accusing Teresa and convincing Melissa and Joe Gorga that it was Teresa that did this.
It is appalling to me, that the cast continues to accuse Teresa when they all know all the players are talking and all the information about the machinations behind the scenes are being revealed. I hope that your information about cast changes for Season 5 is reliable, and that these women will be out. My only disappointment is that the fame whores, the Gorgas and their entourage, will not be fired, as well. These people are truly low life individuals who care nothing about family. I cannot believe that Andy Cohen has made a big deal in helping to make Rosie Pierri popular, and we hear her screaming at Teresa to watch her f**king mouth, or she will cut out Teresa’s f**king tongue. Who says such a thing as that to anyone, let alone a family member. We realize that Andy Cohen has promoted the introduction of the gay cast members of RHONJ, and wanted them to be popular, but anyone that makes a threat like that to anyone, is not a nice person, and Bravo should not condone their threats or try to promote their popularity.
It is obvious from the preview clips, that this reunion is going to be another Teresa bash fest, and it is going to be very ugly to watch. There is going to be a lot of acting on the part of the cast as the “poor victims” of Teresa. I wish Teresa would not have let them push her buttons at the reunion, and participated in the nastiness. However, I do understand her frustration at the ugliness that she has endured for the past two years from her so called friends and family, and her need to respond and her desire to call the cast out and expose them, as they have done to her. Unfortunately, we will see what happens this Sunday.
Again, I would like to congratulate you on the great job you have done on your blog, and all the effort and time that it takes you to research and post the pertinent information. I know that people may feel that this site is pro Teresa, but I have always realized that this site was pro truth regarding people who would go on a reality show for their 15 minutes of fame and money, without regard for the embarrassment and pain that it would cause for their family. Even now, when they know that Teresa did not set anyone up, these cast members continue to blame Teresa and try to hurt her popularity. The Gorga and Wakile’s jealousy of Teresa’s popularity and success, and Melissa’s hatred of her, may have gotten them on the show, but we have seen all the lies and contradictions and the insults that they put out there, and could not believe that a family was willing to treat one another in such a terrible fashion. It was frustrating to watch them vilify Teresa for their own personal gain and to stroke their huge egos. I was glad to find this web site, and someone who was as appalled as I was at was what happening, and that you put the facts out about the true character of these people. Their behavior and lack of integrity is so despicable that I cannot believe that Bravo even cast these people to be representative of the “real housewives of New Jersey”. I am truly sad for the Gorga parents, and the Gorga and Giudice children, who have been so hurt and humiliated by the behavior of and the effect that it has had on this family. However, since they chose to go on this show with ill intent, I am glad that you have dedicated the time to expose them and help to set the record straight. Keep up the good work, and perhaps Bravo will realize that they need to clean house, and understand that their audience is not stupid. We realize that their producers manipulated the damage done to this family and deliberately played a part in trying to ruin Teresa’s reputation for ratings or for what reason? There is no justification for this, and this is not the kind of television we want to watch. Reality should be synonymous with truth, and there has been very little of that
