Jacqueline Laurita Was Pregnant When She Married Chris; Was Jacqueline a Stripper in Las Vegas?; Was Chris Engaged to Another Woman When He and Jacqueline Had an Affair?; Is Chris Laurita Cheating on Jacqueline? (Updated 10/21/2012)

When asked by AllAboutTRH on October 10, 2012 if Caroline Manzo told her that Jacqueline Laurita was a stripper, Teresa Giudice said: “Yes she did. Caroline has told me many things about Jacqueline. Caroline used to even tell me that Jacqueline doesn’t take care of her kids. When CJ was born and growing up, Caroline told me Jacqueline was really into herself, into working out and was basically more into herself then she was her child. Caroline used to complain that Jacqueline never cooked and thought she was a horrible mother.”Video from Reunion 4 Part 3:

“According to my friend who was close with the Manzos, Jacqueline was definitely a stripper, and that is kind of common knowledge in the family so she’s not sure why she is so adamant about hiding it.” – JerseyGirl, August 24, 2012, Fame-Whorgas

“I am friends with Ashlee, Jacqueline’s daughter. Last season all the beef between them was because Ashlee knows about her mother’s past as a stripper, and Jacqueline had a lot of guilt due to that and was afraid Ashlee would hint at her past on the show. This is why Ashlee moved out to Cali on money she made from the show, even though her parents made it seem like a ploy on their part to get Ashlee out of the house. Jac became so paranoid, and was trying to use whatever excuse she could to get her daughter to move away due to the skeletons in her closet. Also Ashley was told by her mom in Season 2? to threaten Danielle Staub, make fake facebook pages, and do other things to hurt Danielle in order to continue living in her home (she told me). Ashley was so tired of her mother acting like a goody-two shoes on TV when she hasn’t been the most perfect mother. She was also tired of the Manzo kids acting like they had their shit together, while making fun of her on TV when they were still getting money from their parents. It’s also why Ashley got the tattoo of the skull head on the back of her wrist as a reminder to always be honest to herself and to never keep any skeletons in her closet like her mom and other members of the family.” – Nick, September 28, 2012, Fame-Whorgas

“How about the fact that 2 of the housewive are ex strippers/hookers? Or that another is ok with her husband sleeping around? I guess thats class..I guess people are totally jealous of you guys!” – Anonymous, August 26, 2008, On Common Ground

“Jacqueline kept saying Teresa always spoke badly about Melissa and Joe, and wouldn’t drop it. Teresa didn’t keep quiet either. She revealed that Caroline had told her Jacqueline was a stripper. That made Jacqueline freak out, especially because she constantly denies it when asked. Teresa kept telling Jacqueline that Caroline used to bash Jacqueline to her all the time, even saying that Caroline said Jacqueline wasn’t a good wife to Chris. Teresa revealed that Jacqueline was a dancer when she lived in Vegas and that it’s a fact because Jacqueline and the Manzos told her this prior to them not being friends. Jacqueline was also flipping out on Joe Giudice, calling him names when he came on set to tape.” – RHONJ Insider Leaking Details About Reunion 4, September 9, 2012, AllAboutTRH

Danielle Staub Claims That Jacqueline Laurita was a Stripper in Las Vegas and That She Broke Up Chris Laurita’s Engagement to Dina’s Friend ‘Jen’

Danielle called Jacqueline a “Vegas whore” during the reunion special for season 2. After the reunion for season 3 aired in October 2011, Danielle tweeted (see tweets below) that Jacqueline was a stripper. She said:

“I kept it to myself because Jacqueline was so weak and asked me not to say anything.” – Danielle Staub, October 27, 2011, Twitter

Danielle exchanged tweets with a few viewers in October and November of 2011, who surmised that Jacqueline skipped the reunion because she was afraid her past as a stripper was going to come out. The viewers asked Danielle if Jacqueline was also a prostitute, but it appears Danielle did not respond. The viewers went on to say that Jacqueline wants to appear “goody goody” and that while watching Danielle go through hell for her past, Jacqueline pretended to be “high class” when she herself had “supported a young child by stripping.” They accused Jacqueline of being “a two-faced friend all along to everyone.” Danielle tweeted that Jacqueline “needs everyone to love her and if they don’t, she literally destroys them.” Danielle also tweeted that Jacqueline would attack anyone who supported her and that Jacqueline “doesn’t realize how loyalty really works.” She also tweeted that Jacqueline “should spend more time parenting and less time worrying about what Teresa is doing.”

Note: Danielle’s tweets exposing Jacqueline as a stripper were in late October 2011; the season 4 episodes where Jacqueline practically forbid Teresa to communicate with Danielle were filmed in early August 2011, a few months earlier. When Danielle outed Melissa in her August 7, 2011 tweets during Teresa’s appearance on WWHL, Teresa tweeted back that she would like to know more about what Danielle had to say, which infuriated Jacqueline because Jacqueline was fearful that Danielle also would reveal all of her secrets.

According to more tweets from Danielle Staub in October/November 2011 (see tweets below), Jacqueline “took her now husband from Jen his fiance”; Jen was Danielle’s “nail girl” and “Dina Manzo’s then best friend”; both Jen and Dina worked at Nisha. Apparently Chris Laurita was in a relationship with one of Dina Manzo’s friends, Jen (who worked at Nisha), when he met Jacqueline, and he cheated on Jen with Jacqueline. This may be why Dina never got along with Jacqueline because, in Dina’s mind, she broke up her friend’s relationship with her brother.

“Jacqueline took her now husband from Jen his fiancé... Jen told me all about Jacqueline when she was my nail girl and Dina Manzo’s then best friend (both worked at Nisha).” – Danielle Staub, October 10, 2011, Twitter

Source Says Jacqueline Wasn’t a Stripper But Worked in a Gentlemen’s Club to Meet Rich and Famous Men

A reader at StoopidHousewives who apparently knew Jacqueline and Ashley when they lived in Vegas, said she never heard that Jacqueline was a stripper in Vegas. She said she heard that Jacqueline liked to party with the rich guys, and she heard her mom got her a boob job so that she could meet guys and so that she could make good tips working at gentlemen’s clubs:

“Jackie was not a stripper in Vegas. But she did like to party with the rich guys. Famous too. Her Dad was a big wig at one of the big casinos. Ash is acting just like Jackie did before she was married to Chris. Jackie’s Mom took care of Ash. They lived with her parents most of the time. Jackie loved to party, but stripping. Never heard that. Heard her Mom got her a boob job so she could meet guys and to work at a Gentleman’s Club.

“I know her dad was not happy about any of it. He was like second in command of a large casino. One of the older ones. Not many of the kids liked Ash or her mother when they lived in Vegas. I remember Ash grandmother was really nice. She spoiled both of them. But for Jackie to say she supported herself and worked when Ashley was young is a bit of, nope she is full of s&*.

“Ash and Jackie left Vegas to marry Chris maybe around 2002 or a little bit after or before. I think Ashley was still in grammar school. It’s been awhile. I am a bit older than Ashley. But she has a lot on her Mom. Seeing her raising her two half brothers and being all Mommy must piss Ashley off.

“Jackie was always looking for a good time. She is not that nice of a person either. At least she wasn’t then. Chris really loved her and would fly her out East for a short time. Her timeline she gave about how long she knew Chris just does not jive, or she was seeing other guys. But I know that Jackie’s family loved him. And not just the money. Jackie’s parents did very well too. They might have a bit more than the Manzos.

“But has there been really any proof of her stripping. I am sure I would of known. Would not surprise me. But she wanted the boobs for tips and to meet the rich guys. She went out with enough of them. Enough of what I know.”

Rumors About Jacqueline Being a Stripper have been Circulating Since Season 1 of RHONJ

Rumors about Jacqueline being a stripper have been circulating since season 1 of RHONJ. Here’s one of them from October 2011:

After In Touch first revealed The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Jacqueline Laurita’s stripper past, she adamantly denied the claim on October 28, 2011, posting to her Twitter account, “I WAS NOT A STRIPPER.” In Touch can now exclusively reveal the details of the shocking past that she’d prefer to keep a secret. “She was a stripper at a Las Vegas club called the Glitter Gulch,” reports a former friend who was very close to Jacqueline. “She worked there from 1992 to 1993. Like all strip clubs, it was an awful place.” And another former pal from back in the day reports that she spent several years in a volatile romance – the low point seems to have been her 1996 arrest for battery of her then-boyfriend, who was also arrested on the same charge. “She slapped him in the face and punched him in the groin,” the police report states. Danielle Staub Knows Jacqueline Laurita’s Secrets and That’s Why She Freaked Out When Teresa Giudice Replied to Her Tweets

“According to my friend who was close with the Manzos, Jacqueline was definitely a stripper, and that is kind of common knowledge in the family so she’s not sure why she is so adamant about hiding it.” – JerseyGirl, August 24, 2012, Fame-Whorgas

Reading Danielle’s tweets from October/November 2011, we can see why Jacqueline does not want Teresa to communicate with Danielle — it’s because Danielle knows Jacqueline’s secrets and Jacqueline wants to continue burying the truth (as does Melissa). Allegedly, Jacqueline got pregnant and then married in a rush.

Jacqueline Was Pregnant When She Married Chris and They Had a Shotgun Wedding, Which is Why She Doesn’t Have a Wedding Photo with Her in a Wedding Dress

“We got married very simple, if you will. We didn’t do professional wedding pictures. You know that picture everyone has with the bride and the groom and the wedding dress and you know it just nice to put in the foyer… When I got married to Chris I wore gray pants and a black shirt.” – Jacqueline Laurita, Season 4 Episode 24, The Lost Footage

According to Jacqueline’s IMDb.com bio, she and Chris married in 2002 (she does not give the actual date): Christopher Laurita, Jr. (CJ) was born on May 24, 2002, so she was pregnant or already had given birth to CJ when she married Chris. It was a shotgun wedding — the ceremony in the park/gazebo without a wedding dress or bridal party that she talked about in season 4 episode 8 and season 4 episode 24.

In her story, “How I Met Chris“, she says they met in 1996 (she was living in Las Vegas but had gone to Chicago to work a trade show that Chris and his brother attended). According to Jacqueline:

“From that day on it was nonstop visiting and ridiculously long and frequent phone calls in which we really got to know each other and became the best of friends and fell in love. That went on for about five years [around 2001]. There was a year break between us after three years [year break around 1999-2000].

“I really had no desire to move to New Jersey at the time and pull Ashley away from my family and friends and he couldn’t make the move to Nevada. We couldn’t move forward. I was so in love with him and I wasn’t dating other people, but I was scared to make the move.

“After our year apart, our failed attempts to get each other out of our minds and attempts of being with other people, we both realized we were just meant to be together and it wasn’t worth fighting it anymore. We reconnected, and then a year later [in 2001-2002] he came to me and proposed to me right in front of Ashley. I had to make a decision right then and there [moved to NJ and married in 2002]. We’ve been together since and we’re still going strong. (While dating Chris I also went on to work for Lancome and worked on-call for swing and graveyard shifts as a cocktail waitress for a local hotel and casino called Samstown. I also freelanced as a makeup artist, just in case you were wondering.) “

Teresa Giudice Agrees to Therapy with Her Back-stabbing Brother, Calling His Bluff; Melissa Gorga Fake Apologizes for Conspiring with Danielle Staub; The Cast Plants Negative Stories in the Tabloids About Teresa Giudice (Updated 6/26/2012)

“When Melissa Gorga said in season 4 episode 9 that she hated Teresa Giudice and did communicate with her enemy, Danielle Staub, I was floored! Melissa finally admitted, what was proven to be fact, that she connived, conspired and manipulated (or what she could circumvent) business, familial and friendship relationships of Teresa in order to DESTROY her.

“I cannot explain in words how frightened I am for Teresa, Joe and the Giudice children. There are countless demonstrations on social media sites showing how Melissa, her family and her friends have been constructively attacking this one woman for years!! This is not a casual dislike of another person: this is a calculated campaign in which Melissa involved dozens of other people in her scheme [if you look at the coordinated tweets of her sisters, her hairdressers, her efforts to get Jay Mohr to slam Teresa in his blogs last season, etc., it’s obvious that this calculated effort continues to this day].

“How can the cast, still to this day, act so callously and continue this harmful lynch-mob, burn-her-at-the-stack mentality? Regardless of what your feelings are toward Teresa, her husband, and their financial crap storm, Melissa’s actions have to be considered outrageous. If not, how far would you go to hurt another person? How can you justify this type of behavior?

“It may take years to recover from what Melissa has done to Teresa and her family. If I were her, I would keep my children away from this. It is not a simple dislike of their mother: it is much more sinister; and, if Melissa’s actions are the result of a personality disorder, it can transfer to new targets.”

- whoopibella, June 25, 2012, LynnNChicago

The cast and their family members have been planting negative stories about Joe and Teresa Giudice in tabloids and blogs since at least season 3. Just read the blogs at Reality Tea, LynnNChicago, etc., and the articles at Life & Style, Us Weekly and OK! Magazine, and you can easily ascertain that the ‘inside sources’ are Jacqueline, Melissa and her sisters. Of all the cast, they are the ones in their blogs and on Twitter who fail to conceal their animosity toward Teresa.

Us Weekly this week (June 24, 2012) has Teresa’s picture in a side panel, saying something like her evil plan was foiled because Dina and Caroline are talking. Caroline looks suspiciously like she could be the source here: the article inside shows a picture from 2010 of Dina and Caroline, and the quotes are attributed to Chris and Albie (something about Dina and Caroline running into one another on Mother’s Day and now tweeting). And, just for good measure, there are a few more digs at Teresa. Us Weekly is the go-to rag for the rest of the cast, who are the ‘inside’ sources for negative stories about Teresa. Melissa is in there 3 or 4 times a month, and Jacqueline has had a few articles lately. Also, Lauren was on the cover last week, finally outing herself about the lap band. And just this week was the story from the Manzo boys. Us Weekly sources are the Laurita/Wakile/Gorga/Manzo cabal: to figure out what they are up to, just look at what they are accusing Teresa of doing.

“I was at her house while they were building it And I didn’t ask questions. She just said they were making room for a nanny.” – Jacqueline Laurita, July 1, 2012, Twitter

“I did not put out that article! Shame on her! She never denied the apartment on my deck(only the closet) never denied it to Joe either. ” – Jacqueline Laurita, July 1, 2012, Twitter

Jacqueline’s loyalty is not to Teresa (she has been repeating what her ‘best friend’ told her in confidence to the very people who have caused her so much pain). Jacqueline’s loyalty is to the Marcos (which includes Joe Gorga, Melissa and her sisters) and the Wakiles, and they are all out to make sure Teresa ‘falls’ with the expectation that some of her spotlight and success will shine on them — the cast is banding together in numbers to make their case against Teresa.

“Jacqueline took her now husband from Jen his fiancé… Jen told me all about Jacqueline when she was my nail girl and Dina Manzo’s then best friend (both worked at Nisha)… I kept it to myself [that Jacqueline was a stripper] because she was so weak and asked me not to say anything… Jacqueline needs everyone to love her, and if they don’t, she literally destroys them. She doesn’t realize how loyalty really works… She should spend more time parenting and less time worrying about what Teresa is doing.” – Danielle Staub, October 2011, Twitter

“Jacqueline, it’s not Teresa’s job to make you feel OK about what’s written about her in the tabloids. It’s her job to keep her family afloat and protect her children. It’s not your job to pry and insert yourself. If she doesn’t want to talk about her issues, she doesn’t have to. If you feel the need, talk to your husband. If you can’t be friends with someone who doesn’t dump all her problems on the table for discussion, then don’t be friends with her. Just stop talking about her! I never talk about serious issues with my friends. Those topics are extremely private and kept in my family. Once you open up those topics to outsiders, it becomes a whole new game. And, Jac, I really think you need a job or a hobby or something. You spend far too much time and energy focused on Teresa. Take a lesson from Caroline and just walk away. Not everyone is meant to be friends and some friendships just die out over time. That doesn’t mean anyone is at fault, it just happens. So let it go.” – Swizzle, June 18, 2012, Jacqueline’s Bravo Blog

The cast is in collusion to defame Teresa. They have an evil agenda to take her down. It is obvious from post-season 3 interviews, season 4 footage and interviews, and season 4 blogs that they are working from the same script.

Danielle Staub Knows Jacqueline Laurita’s and Melissa Gorga’s Secrets, That’s Why Jacqueline Doesn’t Want Teresa Contacting Danielle (Updated 6/19/2012)

“Bravo has exploited, beautifully, ordinary people who are so desperate for any level of fame that they will serve up their families, their secrets, and their friendships. There are plenty of people who look at all this mess and say ‘no way,’ but there are plenty more who would willingly take anyone’s place on these shows.” – Ellemm, June 22, 2012, Television Without Pity

Unlike Melissa, Teresa was not desperate to be cast on the RHONJ. As explained by Andy Cohen on the June 17, 2012, episode of WWHL, over an 11-month period in 2007-2008, Teresa changed her mind several times about joining the cast (she kept dropping in and dropping out) because she wasn’t sure what she was getting herself into.  Teresa entered the arrangement with Bravo after months of hesitation. She was to be on a show with friends and a stranger (Danielle). Teresa was offered a role on the cast due to her own merits; she did not campaign against anyone or seek out an avenue in which to commit acts of revenge upon a family member, like Melissa did.

Teresa has said many, many times that she never would have signed up had the original cast included her family members. Her family members were cast in the third season after the show was an established hit, and they hid their auditions and interviews with Bravo from Teresa because their negotiations included the promise to bring family drama.

“Melissa Gorga was at nearly every single family function, especially the ones filmed for Bravo. For years, she sent Bravo ‘audition’ tapes, e-mails, and even spoke with producers and assistants in person. No one was interested in her or her husband, who they mocked behind the scenes.” – RHONJ Insider, Comment Posted at Reality Tea, September 17, 2011

When you compare what Danielle said to what Melissa herself said in her very first Bravo blog and in one of her early interviews, it confirms that Danielle simply was repeating what the Gorgas told her about Teresa, and that she was not lying about Melissa’s malicious intent regarding Teresa:

  • Melissa was “constantly contacting Danielle” to “help her expose Teresa and Joe;”
  • Melissa “wanted to come on with Danielle season 2 to get back at Teresa;” and
  • Melissa “begged (along with Joe) to come on with her season 2,” and Danielle said “No!”.

Teresa’s brother has been directly contacting me for the past year and a half, letting me know how he feels about his sister And not once do you see her with her brother and her sister-in-law and their beautiful children. Not once! But she glorifies everybody else. Why couldn’t she show her real family? Why? Just tell me why? Because they have more than her maybe? Because she’s jealous of them maybe? Or maybe they would have told the truth and said Teresa goes off like that all the time. ‘It’s not just Danielle. Teresa’s certifiably crazy.’ I think they’re going to have their chance now to speak the truth. Go for it, I’m all behind you.” – Danielle Staub, September 6, 2010, Out.com

“‘With Joe Gorga, everything is for sale, his wife, his house…’, Melissa said during season 4 episode 13. Boy Melissa, you said a mouthful. His own sister was for sale, and not only did he sell her, he threw her under the bus. Just for camera time on a reality show.” - FanViewerNJ, July 26, 2012, Melissa’s Bravo Blog

During reunion 2 in September 2010, Teresa said,I wanna know who the f*ck she [Danielle] is talking to.”

Danielle tweeted Teresa in August 2011 (a day before episode 8 was filmed in sesaon 4), saying that Melissa was communicating with her in 2009 and 2010. And Jacqueline calls it a betrayal of their friendship for Teresa to respond to the tweets because of what Danielle did to Ashlee (which was three years ago, and which was put to rest at the reunion special for season 2 in September 2010 when Jac and Teresa hugged it out with Danielle at the very end of part 2 of reunion 2)? Danielle tweeted Teresa about Melissa contacting her, and Teresa tweeted back two responses, which had nothing to do with anyone but Melissa, yet Jacqueline makes it about her. Teresa has every right to know what went down, no matter how long ago it occurred (Teresa just found out about it the day before episode 8 was filmed). Melissa shouldn’t be off the hook for betraying Teresa, especially since she denies conspiring with Danielle to take down Teresa (so, of course, Melissa has never apologized for doing this). And Jacqueline should remember that she continued to have contact with Danielle’s sidekick, Kim G, even after Kim G encouraged Danielle to pursue the assault case against Ashlee in 2010.

“I also don’t understand how any of these women can see that Melissa was contacting Danielle in order to stir shit up for Teresa, and yet Melissa comes out of this smelling like a rose and Teresa is labeled the crazy, vindictive bitch. That’s talent.” – Stinger97, June 17, 2012, Television Without Pity

“Teresa wants confirmation from Danielle that Melissa and Joe did do all the sneaky shit to get on the show that they are being accused of. Melissa wants to bury the truth. Teresa wanting to hear it from the horse’s mouth is her searching for the truth.” - RabbleRouser, June 14, 2012, LynnNChicago

This underhanded, desperate attempt by the Gorgas to defame Teresa started in 2008 and continues to this day. They came on the show behind her back with the intent to make Teresa’s personal life public in the most negative way possible and to ruin her relationships with her ‘second family’. It has been and continues to be a very public bashing of a family member by other family members, who have gossiped about Teresa to her ‘friends’ to get them to side with them to take her down. It is obscene for Teresa’s brother to expect her to just ‘let it go’ — an explanation and apology for the character assassination are necessary steps to rebuilding the trust that the Gorgas destroyed in their quest for fame.

Teresa Giudice Explains the Gorga’s Bravo Audition Tape and How They Joined the Show (Plus Radio Interview)

Possibly the most hypocritical words ever spoken on Reality TV were spoken by Melissa Gorga during season 4 episode 7 when she talked about the August 1, 2011, issue of In Touch magazine, which featured Teresa Giudice on the cover (I’m Terrified of Being Poor): “I get it—you need to make money, [so] make your money—but at the same time, you need to be loyal to your family. Maybe she can go see a therapist about that.  I’m sorry, that’s how I feel.”

Three episodes later, Teresa’s brother Joe showed the same hypocrisy when he said: “I think it’s extremely hard for Teresa to be a good friend, a loyal friend. She can’t even be loyal to her family. How can she be loyal to a friend. That’s why I’m going to therapy: to make her understand what she does wrong.”

How many of you would be ok with your family member opening a competing business in the middle of the night without your knowledge, all the while trying to steal your customers, then waging a campaign to discredit your livelihood. That’s not jealousy…it’s called betrayal!!! – Dubbalicious, March 25, 2012, Reality Tea

97.9 WRMF Radio Interview With Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey

97.9 WRMF
June 7, 2012

Teresa Giudice took the time to speak to us about her family feud with Joe and Melissa Gorga and where they stand today, what really happened surrounding all the rumors about drama on the set of The View, The Real Housewives Of New Jersey, if she’ll have her own television show, her new cook book “Fabulicious! Fast & Fit” and more!

Editor’s Note: In the radio interview, Teresa does an excellent job answering questions, much better than her appearance on ‘The View’ and in her other TV interviews. She also wrote a blog on her website (below) explaining much more, including how Joe and Melissa Gorga joined the show.

The Truth Always Comes Out

By Teresa Giudice
June 9, 2012

I flew to Miami yesterday for my book signing so I didn’t get to watch “The View” (we filmed it on Tuesday). And since I left right after my segment because I had a book signing on Staten Island that evening, I didn’t know what Melissa and Kathy said during their segment. Now in my hotel, I just watched the whole thing online, and… wow… so many things going through my mind…

It’s hard to get your thoughts straight when you’re being interviewed for TV — especially when you’re trying to talk to 5 women at once like on The View and there are no “retakes.” If you’ve ever done a live or even taped television segment, you know how much is going on and how overwhelming it can be, but I think I’m getting better! But I’m always much better at writing what I think because you’re not on the spot, you can take your time, and there’s the wonderful delete button! So here goes…

You all know I’m not big on bashing my co-stars, family, or really anyone on Twitter or Facebook and I try my hardest not to in my blogs either. I just don’t live my life that way. I never have. I didn’t run around town with Danielle’s book. I don’t meet with people’s ex-husbands to dig up dirt on them. I don’t hire private investigators to look up people’s true identity on Twitter… I’m way too busy living my life, raising my beautiful daughters, working, and raising money for Neph Cure.

I only heard today that Melissa called me a liar or a fibber or whatever, when the press started calling me for my response. I’m not going to play he-said-she-said in the papers, but I do have to set the record straight so I wanted to just tell you all directly. I’ve been telling the same story–the truth–since it happened. Suddenly Melissa has a new answer for it, fresh from her new PR people: it’s a lie and it’s my “crutch.” Are you kidding me?

Here’s the absolute truth: I had no idea Melissa or Kathy were joining RHONJ until the day a Bravo producer called me and told me. And I was shocked almost out of my mind because I literally had no idea… not even the tiniest hint. The two of them can split hairs all they want and dance around the exact when/how/why, but the fact is you don’t get cast on the show overnight. It takes interviews, phone calls, meetings, contract negotiations, etc. However much they did for however long I don’t know because it was all behind my back.

After Dina and Danielle left in Season 2, there were two open spots on the show. None of us knew who they would pick. The producers interviewed tons of people in NJ. Every time one of my friends or even acquaintances got a call from producers for an interview, they called me immediately to tell me. That only makes sense, right? I was happy for anyone else to get the opportunity to be on the show and hoped a bunch of my friends would get picked. For whatever reason, they weren’t. Why would anyone who knew me interview for a show I had been on for two years and keep it a secret from me???

I got my contract from Bravo for Season 3 and just a few weeks before we were scheduled to start filming, I got a call from one of the producers saying: “By the way, the new Housewives are your sister-in-law and cousin Kathy.” Total shock. Never in a million years was that even a possibility to me because I’d never heard anything about it from them. In fact, when I was filming, Kathy would put the show down and say she could “never” be on TV like that. I would have to defend myself and say, “Well, I chose it and I’m having fun with it.”

I called Melissa and Kathy to ask if it was true. They did not call me. They confirmed that yes they’d “interviewed” but said “nothing was set in stone yet.” They said they were still thinking about the offer and going to make family decisions about it. Um, what? *Family* decisions?!?

Melissa Gorga Overhead Backstage at ‘The View’ Scheming to Takedown Teresa Giudice; Ilana Angel of the Jewish Journal Interviews Penny Drossos Karagiorgis; Star Magazine Reports on Melissa Gorga’s Bravo Audition Tape and Her Connection to Danielle Staub

Bravo created these ‘stars’. These untalented, but delusional women (and some men), have been plucked from obscurity with a promise to become full fledged celebrities with all the bragging rights by agreeing to make fools of themselves on national TV. So far it has worked to some degree, and what they have created is a stable of ‘monsters’ who would sell their very soul for the opportunity. I admit that my ‘interest’ lies more in what takes place off camera since this is where the ‘reality’ begins. Currently Jacqueline is tweeting about the Guidice marriage ‘not seen on the show’. Watching these women ‘implode’ under the hot lights of ‘fame’ is more entertaining than what is presented on these shows. – Pat Johnson, July 14, 2012, StoopidHousewives

‘The View’ Avoids a ‘Housewives’ Rumble by Giving Teresa Giudice Her Own Segment

Teresa Giudice requested and got a separate segment on ‘The View,’ avoiding a confrontation with other Housewives.

“I’ve never been Teresa’s biggest fan but for the life of me I don’t understand why people can’t see through Melissa Gorga. It is so clear to me every time I see her on an episode or interview that she is seething with jealousy and determined to ruin Teresa. I believe Teresa allowed the ladies of The View to ask her any questions they wanted, while Melissa insisted on them asking pointed questions that she had an agenda for answering. You can see her sitting on the sofa, talking over Kathy, interrupting everyone (which is RUDE) and trying to get her digs in on Teresa. I completely understand why some people do not like Teresa, but how can anyone watch this and not see through Melissa? She is such a liar! She has lied so much she can no longer keep her stories straight. Ridiculous!” – SODA, June 8, 2012, Reality Tea

“Mel and Kathy were so pissed that Teresa refused to sit with them because they were hoping for another reunion in which they could throw Tre under the bus and make her look bad. That is how they get fans. People who hate Tre fall for their BS.” – Real uES Lady, June 8, 2012, Reality Tea

“Lookers Dancer in my opinion is a master manipulator. Today she told another lie when asked about how she was cast. She has told us that Bravo told her not to tell Teresa now the story is that she told her the Sunday after she was cast. They only contacted her the Friday before. Sorry, but it doesn’t happen like that and Teresa knows it since a couple of her friends were looked at during that time to join the show. She knew all about their process but her sister in law, brother, cousin can’t even pickup the phone and let her know they were being considered. The process is long and involved between interviews, filming and review by Bravo. It is not an overnight decision.” – old NJ girl, June 8, 2012, Reality Tea

New York Daily News

The Real Housewives of New Jersey brought plenty of drama to “The View” on Wednesday.

A source at the daytime talk show tells us producers wanted Teresa Giudice, Melissa George (sic) and Kathy Wakile to appear together on a segment they taped for Friday’s show, but the idea was nixed by Giudice. Our source says the table-flipper requested her own segment, and producers accommodated her because they “didn’t want the other cast members to attack her.”

When George (sic) found out, our source says she “flipped” and was overheard on her cell phone saying,

“Our plan is ruined … so we have to come up with another way to take her down.”

The insider also says “View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck gave George (sic) a real grilling over Giudice’s longstanding claims that George (sic) and Wakile, who are her sister-in-law and cousin, respectively, joined the show behind her back.

All lies! Obviously. RT @lovelayla999: @melissagorga we heard about u bad mouthing Teresa back stage, not nice.

Note: Radar Online later reported on the story, with additional information from “a well placed source.”  Us Weekly did a a story after Radar Online.

Teresa Giudice ‏
Yes this is true. I did ask for a separate segment. Tune in Fri & see why: ‘The View’ avoids a ‘Housewives’ meltdown http://soc.li/gOluRib

The Chirping Twit has a good analysis of who the sources may be. Here’s an excerpt on the Us Weekly insider:

“A show source counters to Us Weekly that it was never Gorga’s intention to meddle with Giudice at the taping. Despite Giudice’s qualms, “Melissa and Kathy were fine to go on,” the insider explains. “They weren’t looking for a confrontation.” What is interesting about the source here is that it gives the intent of both Gorga as well as Wakile. How could anyone assess intent other than the principles? The insider was apparently ANGRY and said: “Teresa pulled this s–t [refusing to film with Melissa] because she wanted the segment for herself,” says the insider. “Melissa had no plan to take her down. There was no attempt to take her down.” My guess is Melissa put out the last story herself or someone emotionally invested in it to have reacted that way.

Note: On The View Melissa said: “I never asked for an apology.” At the summer solstice party she screamed, “you need to apologize to me.” [She didn't ask for an apology, she demanded one!]

“In the New York Daily News Article, a source described overhearing Melissa ‘George’ (they called her ‘George’ instead of ‘Gorga’ throughout the article) talking on her cell phone about her plan to take Teresa down being thwarted. I am pretty sure Teresa and Teresa’s people know how to spell Melissa’s last name. To me, that pretty much proves that it was not Teresa or her people that put the story out. Rather, it is more likely that an independent source overhead the crazy bitch and could not believe she would be talking about taking one of her own family members down in a strategic way. And they ran to NYDN with it. The use of the wrong last name is further support for an independent source that is not even familiar with or a real watcher of RHONJ. It is hilarious too because it shows how irrelevant Melissa is outside of RHONJ. They can’t even get her last name right. ROFL.” [Lola Falana, June 10, 2012, AllAboutTRH.com]

“Melissa said they all had separate dressing rooms and she never saw Teresa at The View taping. So how could Teresa be the ‘source’ who overheard Melissa talking on the phone about taking Teresa down?” [Aunt Julie, June 10, 2012, AllAboutTRH.com]

“On The View set they actually do have separate dressing room areas. The ‘source’ was a member of The View production crew.” [Jennifer, June 10, 2012, AllAboutTRH.com]

Ilana Angel Interviews Penny Drossos

By Ilana Angel, Jewish Journal
June 7, 2012

Ilana Angel of the Jewish Journal interviewed Penny Drossos Karagiorgis in early June 2012. Here’s an excerpt:

“Penny is friends with Teresa Guidice so she is a bit of a RHoNJ insider. She loves Teresa and is pissed off she is being targeted this season. It is hard for her to watch her friend be under attack, but she knows Teresa is strong and she is standing by her. She is also a bit of a pain in the ass for Bravo. By pain in the ass of course I mean they are scared of her. She is a straight shooter who is not afraid to speak her mind, stick up for her friend, and call out the liars. Bravo would be smart to include Penny because it would bring some truth back to the show, but the problem is they don’t want truth. They like the fighting, lies, and hate. They are so out of touch with the fans they don’t get we are tired of watching.”

Melissa Gorga Plotting Against Teresa Giudice, She’s ‘Manipulative And Jealous’

Radar Online
May 30, 2012

Watch out Teresa Giudice, your worst enemy might be in your own family!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has a reputation as a hot-headed villain who is pushing away her co-stars with her diva behavior, but Star magazine has exclusively learned that it’s actually her conniving sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, who’s doing the stirring, turning the women against Teresa.

“Melissa is manipulative and jealous of Teresa’s fame and she has a dirty secret,” a source said about the brunette beauty.

“Years ago, Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, sent a tape to the producers promising that if they were cast on the show, they would do whatever it takes to get rid of Teresa,” the source said about the scheming reality star.

This was Melissa’s last-ditch attempt to get on the show; earlier she even befriended hated original cast member Danielle Staub to curry favor with producers, but nothing worked until she proposed causing havoc for Teresa.

As the source says,

“Melissa is a bad person and holds a grudge against Teresa because of her fame.”

They Are All Jealous of Teresa Giudice’s Business Success; Tom Murro and Kim G are Friends to the Manzo/Laurita Camp (Updated 9/4/2012)

By the way Melissa, this IS ‘the mother f—ing Teresa show.’ The sooner you accept it, the better off you will be.

The Manzo’s have attempted to capitalize on their ‘celebrity’ by marketing Caroline’s handbags, the Brownstone sauce, and BLK bottled water. The handbags and the sauce were a bust, and BLK, which they are still promoting, is not the huge success they expected it would be (and they were sued for allegedly stealing the idea).

“I think the Manzos/Lauritas wanted Teresa to invest her name and money in BLK. When she refused, they viewed her as a traitor… they have turned on her not out of jealousy, but as payback: they set out to show her that without their support she wouldn’t be where she is. Only it’s backfiring… Teresa refused to invest her name, brand or money in their get rich-quick scheme, which was invented as a desperate attempt to save Jac and Chris, who are in major financial trouble. They believe since they were always there for Teresa — built her up, stood beside her — that she owed them this. She refused, and they all went after her. They believe they hold the power of the viewers. Kim G is being used now by Jac. Jac has been missing and quiet on Twitter, allowing Kim to do her dirty work. Yet, people STILL see through them. Isn’t Jac the one who told everyone they all thought Teresa was poor and struggling, yet she was living the high life? Wasn’t it Caroline and Joey who pointed out Teresa’s expensive bag?  I believe Teresa told them she could not afford to invest with them… so Teresa can’t invest in their company but she can afford to live the way she is? They are pissed at her over business.”  – SODA1, August 5, 2012, Reality Tea

“I figured out why Caroline and Jacqueline are no longer speaking to Teresa and it has everything to do with BLK Water. The Manzos and Lauritas invested a lot of money into the product, a product that was never theirs to begin with. I think Jacqueline and Caroline wanted Teresa to invest in the BLK and since it would utilize a lot of money and time, and considering the product was stolen, I think Teresa and Joe Giudice’ knew it was not a good investment financially and legally. It would also explain why Caroline and Dina are not on talking terms. Dina also refused to invest in the product because it was too much money and it was an illegal proposition to begin with. Also, Dina’s husband owns half of the Brownstone and they didn’t want the Brownstone connected to an illegal investment. Let’s face it, BLK was a stolen TM product. It makes perfect sense! I noted this on All About TRH, along with other long comments regarding BLK, back in July.” – Rosalie Marie, August 8, 2012, The Fame-Whorgas

“The real truth on why the Lauritas/Manzos are so angry at Teresa. The viewers have been reading between the lines. The truth is… it has nothing to do with a cookbook or PC. The truth is, Jac and Chris wanted Teresa to invest in and support BLK. They felt that Teresa owed it to them after they stood behind her through three seasons and supported her during her bankruptcy and Joe’s legal issues. BLK would have done better short term if it had Teresa’s support and star power. Teresa told Jac she could not afford to invest in BLK… that’s why Jac is so worried about Teresa’s financial issues.. that’s why she’s pointing out Teresa’s new garage, apartment, designer shoes, bags, outfits. Truth is, Teresa bad mouthed BLK to friends and said no way would she put her name, brand, reputation or money behind such a crappy product as BLACK WATER. Jac and Chris are bitter at Teresa and decided to prove to her that without their support she wouldn’t be where she is today… they took their support away to show Teresa that without them, viewers would eat her alive. How’s that working out for you guys? Not going as planned? That’s why Chris Laurita is shown doing THs and ‘protecting’ his wife’… that’s why Caroline is telling viewers she is more upset for what Teresa has done to Jac… all because Teresa would not back BLK. The Lauritas are broke, and Teresa backing BLK would have made a huge difference in sales and promotions…  Re-watch some of the episodes with these new facts about BLK. If you have any doubt left, it will all click into place when watching a second time. All this crying Jac and Chris do about Teresa speaking bad about them to mutal friends? Ever wonder why they never say what exactly Teresa said to these ‘mutual’ friends? They can’t say because it was about BLK. They don’t want the public to know what Teresa thinks of BLK for the same reason they are angry at her for not supporting them” – D_Nichs, August 8, 2012, Jacqueline’s Bravo Blog

“You are an extremely jealous person. No one else can make money but you.” – Jacqueline Laurita talking about Teresa Giudice behind her back, Season 4 Episode 9

From Tamara Tattles: “Jac tweets about a lot of products, mostly ones that she gets paid to endorse, like some Acne product and, of course, her husband’s BLK water products. On August 31, 2012 she combined the two. Apparently, she had a pimple and suggested spraying it with fulvic acid (a BLK water ingredient) and the Acne product she endorses. Ever the inquisitive one, TeeCee66 inquired about Jac’s finances, asking if it was really necessary for her to shill an acne product to make ends meet. And so Jac decided to follow her long enough to DM her, to defend herself twice and then unfollow her. It seems that Jac has landed some million dollar a year job y’all! On her website she lists all the jobs she’s ever had chronologically but after RHONJ, there is no other employment on her resume.” Here’s Jacqueline’s Twitter DM to TeeCee66: “No, I make over a million a year. I just love the product. Besides the show, I have successful products out there that I don’t make known to the show to cheapen the brands. :0 I work too. I enjoy it.”

“It becomes unhealthy competition when you step on your siblings head and try to sabotage them to get to the top” [This is exactly what the Gorgas did to Teresa: they contacted the cast's nemesis and got on the show at the expense of their family, but the rest of the cast doesn't call them out on this]. – Jacqueline Laurita’s Bravo blog, when referring to Teresa Giudice and her successful business ventures, July 11, 2012

“Teresa has a very strong Italian background. I think it’s taught her to work hard for what she really wants. It’s an admirable quality. But, in your tactics of becoming the best and achieving something great, you can’t step on people that love you.” – Kathy Wakile, Season 4 Episode 17

“But at the same time, while you’re climbing your way to the top, you don’t step on your friends.” – Jacqueline Laurita, Season 4 Episode 10, in response to her father telling her that Teresa is busy making a living as the primary bread winner, and that she’s concerned about her immediate family and she’s going to do whatever she has to do to.

“This season has not been about friendship or family. It has been about jealousy, power, popularity, fame and money. While the cast members have said there is enough to go around, they do not like that Teresa has the majority of it, and all of them have shown that they will do whatever it takes to wrangle it away from her. Enter all the schemers and connivers, who have now banded together to ‘expose’ Teresa and Joe Guidice to the public in an effort to dethrone her. This from so called family and friends. They have set out to provoke her, and to her credit, she has held up better than they thought she would. This has infuriated Caroline and now Jacqueline, no doubt, and this is why one year after filming stopped, we still have all the nasty interviews, blogs, and twitter rants. Perhaps, her family and friends underestimated her resolve and stamina?” – Julia, July 1, 2012, Priscilla From Wascilla

“I’ve never been jealous of my friends success ever. I’m not that type of girl. Never have been.” – Jacqueline Laurita, April 23, 2012, Twitter

“I was asked 2 do a vow renewal 2 that would have been in the tabloids. I turned it down. T knew. I found out about hers on camera.” – Jacqueline Laurita, June 10, 2012, Twitter

Video: Jacqueline tells The Morning Show in Canada on July 18, 2012, that Teresa Giudice “tried to sabotage a lot of business dealings for me.”

“She congratulated me on an opportunity I got & then tried to take it away from me behind my back 4 herself (& failed).” – Jacqueline Laurita’s reply to someone on Twitter who asked, while season 4 episode 7 was airing, what Teresa did to her personally?

“Jac DMd me that her fight with Teresa is over a lost opportunity for lip gloss and nail polish, which Jac believes Teresa usurped.” – Jennifer, June 19, 2012, AllAboutTRH.com

“[Teresa] hurt me bad. Tried to cut me out of opportunities and tried 2 steal one deal I have after I’ve always supported her plus more.” – Jacqueline Laurita, Jacqueline Laurita Explains Why She Isn’t Friends With Teresa Giudice, November 17, 2011, AllAboutTRH.com

“I laugh when pple say I’m jealous of T. There is NOT ONE aspect of her life I would want. Not even leaving my kids 4 best selling book signings.” – Jacqueline Laurita, June 20, 2012, Twitter

“I actually have an amazing book I’d like 2 publish but I’m not ready 2 tour yet 4 signings. Maybe if I can bring my kids? I’m waiting.” – Jacqueline Laurita, June 20, 2012, Twitter

“The difference with Teresa’s family dynamic and ours is that she claims she WANTS a relationship so badly with her brother and his family, but then sabotages the same relationship by interfering with potential opportunities they might benefit from behind the scenes.” – Jacqueline Laurita, June 4, 2012, Love is Love

“Teresa would do little things to try to sabotage her family and friends like putting things about them in articles, sabotaging potential business opportunities, etc. all while claiming that she wanted to be one big happy family again.” – Jacqueline Laurita, June 18, 2012, The Rules According to Teresa

“I think the insults directed at Caroline for being one-sixteenth Italian (which is not true at all) and her ‘authentic’ meatball comments were to discredit Caroline as an Italian cook for two reasons. First, because she lost a meatball tasting contest to Caroline on the Rachael Ray show which annoyed her. Also there had been talk since day one of Caroline and our family doing a family cookbook, and in my opinion Teresa was trying to plant a seed in the readers mind. Teresa actually used a similar concept for her book, and I didn’t mind at all. I was happy it worked for her. If our family did it we would use different pictures and our own family stories. I always supported Teresa on anything she ventured into, and when she got to work and actually did what my family had only talked about, I thought, ‘Good for her.’ And I was very proud of her. I think the problem was that Teresa wanted to be the ONLY authentic Italian cook, and she wanted to make sure that she kept that title… Teresa calls her book a family cookbook, yet she never even attempted to include any other family members in it. If the recipes were passed down from generation to generation, I’m sure other family members use the same recipes as well, but if I know Teresa, she probably wouldn’t allow anyone else to claim them but her.” – Jacqueline Laurita, April 22, 2012, The Breaking Point

“There is one more thing that I felt that I had to address. You say everyone has motives for coming on the show with their ‘get-rich-quick schemes.’ Who isn’t trying to make a buck nowadays, and what’s wrong with that? Especially when it’s your family. Why do you make it sound like a bad thing? You say Kathy’s is baking, Melissa’s is singing, so what was YOUR ‘get-rich-quick scheme,’ Teresa? Was it the cookbooks? The TG Fabulicious store? The makeup? The lip gloss? The nail polish? The sauce? The olive oil? The pots and pans? The teeth whitener? The t-shirt line? The Bellini? The wine? The kids’ shampoo line? And now you want to come out with a prostitution whore song? Take a look at your own motives, Teresa. I think you’ve pretty much covered every market. What’s next, a rhinestone studded sex toy line? God Bless you for putting in the work to make all of that happen. I am so proud of you. I hope you are extremely successful. But you are not the only one entitled to make money with the show. How can you knock people trying to make a living? This show gives us a platform for many things. There is enough room for everyone to be successful. There is no need to be greedy or even jealous of other people’s successes.” – Jacqueline Laurita, August 15, 2011, An Eye Opener

“Can anybody have anything…anything…it’s my brother’s wedding…I don’t wanna talk about your stupid cookbook.” – Caroline Manzo, in her talking head interview, responding to Teresa’s proclamation during Jamie and Rich’s reception that she just got a text message stating her cookbook made the New York Times’ bestseller list.

“Because he didn’t achieve his success by hurting his friends & he shares his success with others.” – Jacqueline Laurita responding on Twitter to someone who asked, while season 4 episode 7 was airing, why it was okay for Chris to bring up his success (on the bus in Chicago when he mentioned BLK and the wine they just added) and not Teresa?

“I loved the juxtaposition between Chris Laurita’s announcement regarding a new client (a wine company), and Teresa’s announcement about her new cookbook being on the NY Times’ bestseller list. Teresa and Joe were genuinely happy for their friend, but the Manzos/Lauritas (especially the women) were obviously jealous/annoyed. It is obvious why the other women accuse Teresa of anything they can think of: they are just jealous. Caroline replies to every innocent comment that Teresa makes in a nasty way (preferably in a TH). And she pretends she is the victim on top of it!” – NoPityFL, June 11, 2012, TelevisionWithoutPity

“Maybe fame has gotten to her head. It has gotten to all of their heads. Everyone is about the fame! Every single one of them — so what is the problem??? Teresa makes the money. Teresa brings in the viewers. Teresa has the best selling cookbooks. Teresa had the crazy Christmas cards that are so ridiculous it is cute. She is the standout in New Jersey. So, from those points, what can we figure out? The other four are JEALOUS! And jealousy is a hard thing to get over.” – CFF, June 12, 2012, AllAboutTRH.com

“Why would you continue to ask your ‘friend’ about on going legal matters ON CAMERA that could incriminate herself and her husband? Why would you continue to comment and insinuate bankruptcy fraud (lavish lifestyle, spending out of control, etc) to get your ‘friend’ into hot water? I was disgusted regarding Teresa’s behavior toward Danielle (no matter what she said, no one should be physically attacked); HOWEVER, the rest of this cast thinks the viewers are stupid, which I’m most offended with. These idiotic confrontations are no more than jealous power trips on Teresa and Joe’s good fortune to successfully capitalize off of the show. No one wants BLK water, Brownstone sauce, Melissa’s music singles, Kathy’s Red Velvet Cosmos, but Teresa’s books and appearances are selling out, she’s moving bottles of wine, she appears on every episode of The Celebrity Apprentice, she’s on magazine covers, she’s everywhere. Teresa is another Bethanny, and they know it. It’s only a matter of time before she gets her own show. Even if its on another network.” – brooklyntvcutie on June 18, 2012, Television Without Pity

“I’ve been feeling the desire to state my case as if I need others to validate what I’m already feeling and what I already know… I remember feeling this same way before the Season 2 reunion with Danielle. I went there armed and ready for battle. I had my gun loaded with plenty of ammunition to win. God knows what I thought I was winning. I had so much dirt on that woman that I was actually looking forward to exposing her, because I felt like she deserved it. Halfway through the reunion, I realized that this need to destroy her with her ugly truths was making me just as ugly of a person as she was. Hate makes you ugly. I didn’t want to be that ugly person. It is not who I am. My heart is much too big to be driven to the dark side. I was allowing myself to become someone that I was not proud of. I got control of myself and decided to let go of all the hate, move forward, and not look back. The awkward hug was about letting go of the hate and the fight. She promised to stop harassing my family and move on. (Although she never kept her word.) I didn’t want to become that bitter person then, and I don’t want to become that person now. I’ve decided once and for all, to let go of all the hate. I know what I know, and that is all I need to know. I also know that the season is not over yet, and there will be episodes that I will want to respond to in my blogs. For now, I will continue to respond to each episode, but I will try to do so without as much animosity.” – Jacqueline Laurita, Leaving the Nest, July 2, 2012

“If I get hurt I get nasty, and I got nasty because I was hurt.” – Jacqueline Laurita, Season 4 Episode 15, during her conversation with Teresa in the RV, away from the others, where Teresa tries to understand why Jacqueline no longer wants to be her friend
